This is the best pillow I have ever owned. After searching for years, and hesitating because of the price, I finally bought this pillow. When I opened the box, I instantly thought, “this isn’t high enough for me”. I was a little disappointed. Once I laid in the bed to sleep, I was shocked at how perfect the pillow supports my neck and head!! It also does not interfere with my CPAP mask at all! The ear holes make it super comfortable!! If you have had shoulder or neck pain from sleeping on your side, try this pillow! Hands down it is the best purchase I have ever made for my sleep!

2 years on and still super happy with pillow
So comfortable , I sleep ion my side and stomach and this pillow is so good for me, no clicking neck in the morning!. I also use night headphones sometimes and the ear gaps in the design mean no pressure at all. I only wish there was a travel version. Really miss this pillow when I’m away. I’ve been using this for two years, kept its shape and comfort throughout. Will definitely buy agai

I only wish there was a way to purchase a second pillow case for this as the case is white so gets stained very easily. It would be nice to be able to swap out cases while the other washed. Also after having it almost two years the case is worn and not so great looking. The pillow is holding up well though! You can get the pillow cheaper on the company site, but not sure if they charge for shipping or not.

I have been using an expensive down pillow for at least 15 years with no issues … until my body has been changing as now 71 and find my ears are getting too sensitive and hurt even if my pillow is fully fluffed up. Also because I live by a public park where sometimes drunken folks like to come and party all night (even tho the park is closed and cops don’t care) … I cannot sleep!!! … so these holes allow for my earbuds to fit comfortably to mitagate the freaking party noise! The only thing I cannot figure out is why this company does not offer individual different colors bamboo pillow covers????

Works pretty well for cartilage piercings.
I bought this due to getting cartilage and lobe piercings on both ears. It definitely relieves the pain and pressure on my ears. But, the holes are slightly too big so I feel sometimes my ears sink into them and there is still a bit of pressure on some of my piercings.
I love this pillow because I get ear pain when I sleep and a really stiff neck and this solved those problems! My only complaint is that the inserts to make the pillow thicker move around in the case so I always have to adjust the pillow to get them back together. I also would recommend using this pillow only under your head. I had it and another pillow and it makes you crane your neck too much. It is still such a great pillow I lay my head down on it at night and I am out almost instantly which never happened before!

Solved my sleeping problem, but was originally put off by the cost.
Unfortunately, I recently acquired bursitis in one shoulder, so its pretty uncomfortable to sleep on that side. After a few months of sleeping on only one side the, “down” ear got pretty sore – the cartilage was not happy. I talked to a physical therapist, who suggested an “ear pillow”. Who knew? I hesitated buying one of the more expensive products in this category, but rationalized it was a “medical expense”, and would be a bargain if it worked.
The good news is that the ear pain is now gone and the expense seems like a pretty minor issue. However, I am not sure if I will continue using this pillow once the bursitis improves.

Finally, I have found a pillow that allows me to sleep on my side. I am undergoing multiple ear surgeries and the configuration of this pillow has allowed me to place my ear in the hole and sleep on my side. I am thrilled to finally get a good night’s sleep. It took 2 nights to figure out the best height by changing out the foam pads and ultimately I “got it right” by using both foam pads.
Shortly after mastering the pillow I received an email offer for another pillow cover … free… perfect!!!

Comfortable pillow for people who suffer from sore ears and those who use the CPAP/BiPAP machine.
For years I have been cutting holes in my pillows and paying to get pillowcases tailored to the shape and positioning of the various holes I have been cutting. But straightaway when I tried this pillow it was absolutely amazing how well I slept. It is comfortable when I’m wearing my cpap to.
The only downside is that it only comes with one pillowcase so I would like to have the option to order more than one of them.
In summary:

Very comfortable.
Works while wearing the CPAP/BiPAP.
Height adjustable which is, to my mind, very important as the distance from shoulder to head varies between people.
Negatives:
Only has one pillowcase .

No more achy ears!
Really comfy, supportive pillow – has solved my problem with achy ears and I can finally wear ear plugs in both ears without discomfort! Very happy. The seller kindly offered to send me a second cover free of charge too which will be very handy. The cover is super soft has washed well so far.
Couldn’t live without this pillow!
I have sjgren’s syndrome which involves my glands swelling up underneath my ear at at my throat so lying on my side is impossible when I have a flair up, however having this pillow completely takes away the pressure from ear and relieves the pain I normally felt on my old pillow. I cannot recommend this pillow enough as I could now not do without it and I would recommend anyone else who suffers from Sjogrens to buy this, my partner got me is as a birthday present and it turned out to the be the best present I have ever received for the relief it has given me 🙂

This is a very comfortable pillow that lets me sleep through the night instead of keep waking and turning due to a jaw problem. Just as importantly, this is probably the best Customer Service I have ever come across! The company has pulled out all the stops to provide me with a spare pillow cover as I am unable to wash and dry on the same day. Perhaps there could be a future product option to purchase two covers at the outset. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from this seller again!
An excellent product.
This is the best pillow that I have ever bought. It is not cheap, however, I am sleeping much better and not waking up with a stiff neck. I put this down to the design and properties of the materials in the pillow as a whole. An important feature of the pillow are the height adjusters which I found very helpful to find the correct neck alignment. It took me a little while to get used to this pillow as it is smaller than your standard sized pillow, however it has been worth persevering.
The main reason why I bought this pillow was that I was looking for a pillow that would allow me to wear earbuds comfortably while sleeping. I am a light sleeper and can easily be brought out of my sleep by background noises. However, I have always found wearing earbuds with a normal pillow to be very uncomfortable. This pillow, with its two ear cutouts allow me to wear earbuds very comfortably throughout the night. The quality of my sleep has genuinely improved. I also wear a hearing aid and this can at times result in discomfort in my ear with prolonged wearing. Again the ear cutouts take the pressure off the ear when sleeping.
Are there any issues? Only one. The finish on the height inserts that I received were not quite the same as advertised in the picture or company website. This does not affect the overall quality of the product but it is something that I feel the company should put right as it is sometimes mentioned in online reviews of the pillow. I have brought this to the attention of the company and they have been very positive in their response to my comment. This is a great product and deserves five stars. I really do hope others will find it as beneficial as I have.

The excellent design has worked brilliantly for my ear.
The pillow comes with two slide-in inserts to make it thicker or thinner as needed.
The unanticipated advantage of the pillow is that it positions the nostril closest to the pillow so I can breathe without obstruction from both nostrils (all my previous pillows required some work to not block the bottom nostril). Design is slightly concave between the two holes which leaves my lowest nostril unblocked when I’m facing the empty hole. When I’m facing away from the empty hole, I’m just close enough to the edge of the pillow that I don’t get one nostril blocked then either.

I have tried all sorts of pillows and so far this one is proving to be the best ,I am not waking in the middle of the night with XS pressure on my ear which I am experienced with other pillows . It is also letting me breathe more easily .

This odd little pillow really, really helped with my TMJ. I read a ton of reviews before buying a pillow for this. I’ve had the pillow a couple of months and my jaw feels so much better! I didn’t realize how much pressure I was putting on my jaw, even when sleeping on the unaffected side.
I’m not sure how long it will keep it’s shape – seems a bit flatter now, but it’s already worth the cost many times over.

I’ve been struggling with waking up in the middle of the night with incredibly sore ears for years now. Have tried a variety of things and chucked 20 here and 30 there on pillows hoping it would finally help my weary head finally rest. I finally plucked up the courage/was desperate enough to spend the 60 on this pillow and I am SO glad I did! I have not had sore ears the entire 3 months since I purchased the pillow! Longest record so far in my entire adult life, and looks like it’ll keep going. I spent quite a bit of money at the dentists thinking my sore ears/side of my jaw was due to teeth grinding but since buying the pillow I’ve had no pain.
I left off leaving a review for awhile due to wanting to check if it holds up after a bit. Other memory foam pillows got incredibly hard or really flat after 1 month, but I’m very relieved to report that this pillow continues to be soft and pliable as of 3 months in. Good ‘bounce-back-ability’. I switch between side and back sleeping so when I’m on my back, the centre middle bit is low enough where I’m able to lie comfortably without having a big kink in my neck. When sleeping on my side, I pull the pillow closer and slightly to an angle to its higher walls on the outer edges and it helps keep my head inline with my spine (and I’ve got fairly broad shoulders-ranking in as a 5’9″ female). The extra pads are excellent and I use both of them.
The pillow’s not the prettiest thing in the world, but I am more than happy to showcase it and tell people how great the funny looking pillow is because of how well rest I am now!
10/10 highly recommend for anyone struggling with sore ears/not finding a pillow soft enough while also giving support as a side sleeper.

I’m writing this review after having the pillow since Nov 2019. I often find that a product you love when you first get you often find the flaws of after a few weeks and so best not to review straight away. I can honestly say I love the pillow. It has removable inserts to adjust the height and it did take me a while to figure out which height I preferred and it did take a little while to get used to. I couldn’t give it up now though. It’s great for side sleepers – no more sore ears. It supports my neck when sleeping on the side. It’s not really designed for lying on your back but actually I’ve found that works for me too. If you mostly sleep on your back this isn’t the pillow for you though. It is soft but I like that. I’ve tried other memory foam pillows and they are just too firm and uncomfortable. This is truly the best pillow I’ve ever used. I’ve also found the customer service pretty good. They do seem to want to please and go the extra mile. They may well be having their own supply problems (who isn’t these days?) but they do make an effort and definitely want to make your experience good. Go for it.

This was purchased for my parter who has Sjgren’s syndrome and it has been in her words a blessing …. if anyone for any reason has problems with sore ears due to any reason then i can tell you that this pillow will at the very least take massive pressure off your ears while you sleep. It’s been worth every penny and far more and i’m so so glad that i purchased it. For some reason every pillow I owned made the tops of my ears ache then they would feel like they were burning. It would be so painful I would not be able to sleep. I bought pillows advertised on tv and in stores but nothing helped. I was on Amazon and searched for pillows for ear pain. I never knew these special pillows even existed. After research and reading positive and negative reviews, I decided this would be the best to try. I liked the filling better than the others and the fact I could lower the padding if needed but so far I have left it as it came to me. Also the customer service you receive is fantastic. Once again, I love this pillow. Best ever.

I am SO VERY happy with this pillow. I FINALLY found a pillow that relieves my pain. I suffer of an “inexplicable” discomfort that happens only at night, when for some reason the cartilage of my ear gets inflamed and the ear that is pressing on the pillow starts hurting like hell. That wakes me up. I change side and the other ear will then hurt the same. So it has been 2 years where my sleep isn’t the same anymore.
I ended up looking on google for people that have the same problem. I was relieved to find out that I am not alone. One person recommended to try out the pillow and so I bought it.

I have been using it now for a week. My pain is gone!
And it is the most comfortable pillow I have ever had. I sleep on my side, the pillow supports my head and neck perfectly. The foam gives the right amount of softness/hardness. My ears float with freedom in the provided ear holes and I hear them “screaming of happiness” that they are finally not suffocated and pressed against anything.

Relief for ear pai
I’ve been having ear pain while sleeping for about 3 years. 1 year ago I purchased this product and it drastically improved the quality of my sleep. I don’t have ear pain anymore (!!!), except when I move during the night and end up with my ear outside the hole. It definitely takes some time to get adjusted to it and everyone is different, so this pillow may not be perfect for everyone.
I like the possibility of adjusting the height of the pillow with different inserts. Particularly for me, the maximum height is still slightly too low (I like tall pillows), so I just added a towel below.
I love this pillow and won’t go anywhere without it! Customer support is also amazing! Hope it lasts a long time!
Great Pillow
I originally ordered this pillow on 7/27/20. It arrived as expected and I love it!!! It is a great pillow and much, much better than another one that I had ordered. It is soft and supportive and fits perfectly if I decide to lie on either side or back.
I was told that I would receive an extra pillow case for it when I checked with them in Dec. At the time, they were out of stock, but Gina said that she would notify me when one had been shipped and they were back in stock. Even better, Gina said that I would get it for no extra charge. I don’t think I have ever received such good customer service. As promised, I received notification that the pillow case has shipped and I should receive it by January 20.

Comfortable, Versatile and Great quality
This pillow is very comfortable. It is somewhat height adjustable with the height inserts. It is as described, the material is soft and I have been using it for a few months now and can attest to the quality of the foam. At first, the pillow does look strange, but soon after some use, you realize that the shape is quite perfect for a side sleeper like myself. Sometimes, I sleep on my back and this is also a great pillow for back sleepers.
Lastly, the customer service is great. Gina was very attentive to follow-up with me as I had initially purchased a different type of pillow from the same company that was not a good fit for me. She listened to my concerns and suggested this pillow instead which turned out to be a great suggestion.
Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and the care placed on providing great customer service.

Just over a year into owning it the pillow half split between the ear hole and base. I contacted the manufacturers and got a rapid response explaining the issue – the pillow has air channels within it to avoid the sea shell echo effect – this is deliberate but brings a slight risk of tearing.
They say their warranty mentions tbis bit on balance they prefer to includes them air channels as it gives a superior performance and it’s rare for tearing to occur
This makes sense – and I was delighted to be told they would replace the pillow at no cost

The ear holes are a brilliant idea. My head and jaw are supported and I don't get pressure on my ears. The holes do not cause "ocean sounds" that you typically get with things that surround your ear with a closed space. The pillow was a bit off-putting at first because it is quite thick and seemed rather firm. However, I actually ended up using one of the included inserts to make it even taller; who knew? The foam conforms to me head and it feels really good. When I roll over, the ear hole on the other side matches up perfectly. I love it!

I had never tried a pillow with ear holes before and I do wake up with ear pain at times so I figured I'd give it a try anyway. Well I am so glad I did. I absolutely love this pillow. It is not too firm and not too soft, it cradles my head perfectly. The ear holes are extremely comfortable and something I had no idea I was missing out on! I have been calling asleep faster and staying asleep longer. I do not feel that this pillow has had a huge effect on my jaw clenching but since the quality of my sleep is improving, I have woken up feeling better overall. I definitely recommend it.

Amazing customer service
This is my second pillow as my son wanted one after he saw mine. It arrived very quickly as did the first. Both me and my son suffer with TMJ. This is helping so much. We have suffered less jaw/ear pain and it helps relieve pressure on my neck.

I tried both the other brand which has a single hole, and this one with the two, and I found this one much more suited to me. I like that the cover is all one piece with this pillow, unlike the other one with a separate pillow case which causes wrinkles on my face, as well as my ear just wasn’t quite high enough for it.
This pillow is saving my ear and sleep! Even soft pillows cause me severe ear pain which causes me to toss and turn all night, but this one is the perfect size for my ear to fit, and still provide neck support. I like that they included the extra height inserts, but at this point I do not need them as I found it the perfect height already.
Yes it is pricey, not sure why (there are holes in it, haha!), but it is well made and you really can’t put a price on a good night’s rest!

It was designed ergonomically, so the ear holes are at the right distance for either side of my head, as well as being the right distance from my shoulders. Other CHN pillows seem to have the holes in the middle of the pillow, which is too far to fit me (Adult female) correctly. I'm finding it terrifically comfortable for my ears and just laying on my back facing up. I use a CPAP mask which is intrinsically uncomfortable, but the shape of this pillow is perfect for me to sleep on my side without the mask being pushed by the pillow. I had hoped for relief from my ear pain, but the way it is working with my CPAP mask is a huge benefit. Anyway, I found this pillow to be ridiculously comfortable and I am sleeping much better than I have in months because of it. My only question is that I haven't quite figured out how to get regular pillow cases to reliably stay pushed down in the ear holes.

I have really bad TMJ and wanted to find a pillow that would help. Before I bought this I wasn’t sure how to feel about the ear holes, but I bought it anyway just to try it. The first week I used it, not going to lie I wanted to return the thing back. But I kept for a couple months to give it a chance. It hasn’t resolved my TMJ problems which is kind of what I expected since it’s a chronic issue, but it definitely doesn’t make it worse and makes it more bearable. I eventually came to love this pillow, can’t travel anywhere without it, and even my husband tries to steal it from me every night. I’ve decided I have to buy another one for my husband for Christmas lol.
Great pillow for sore ears and neck
This pillow memory foam is like no other I’ve tried. Totally soft, but does not collapse, with two extra pieces to adjust to the height you need. Amazingly no odor or maybe there might have been some when I set it aside for one day, but I could not detect any. I am very chemically sensitive and had no issues whatever. There are two distinct pockets for your ear to fit…I have not decided which I prefer yet. But you have two options to decide which is more comfortable. The pillow case is super soft and easy on your face. It did not shrink when washed. It was nice not having to continually reshape a pillow during the night, which I had to do with my pricey white goose down pillow.
Another plus is my bad neck did not hurt. An excellent product for sure.

Perfect for this side-sleeper!
Originally I came looking for this as I had new cartilage ear piercings and couldn’t sleep on my preferred side but after 3 weeks of sleeping on it, I wouldn’t return to a conventional pillow. It’s so comfortable, after 2 nights I’d adjusted to the unique shape and feel, and I am sleeping better. Truly worth a try!
I bought this for my daughter months ago because she was having TMJ issues. It was pretty expensive for me to spend this much on a pillow but when I asked her how she was feeling she said her jaw didn’t hurt anymore and she loved this pillow. One week later my dog literally ate her pillow!! I felt that since it really was helpful for her I would spend this money again and get her another one. I tried her dog eaten pillow just to see if I would like it and boy what a relief. For the first time I’m not readjusting pillows, the pressure is off my jaw (TMJ too). I would highly recommend it. My only caveat is that it is weirdly shaped with those ear slots and a white jersey pillowcase is hard to make a bed look good with it. I mostly hide it behind some pillow. I wish they would make some colorful cases for this!

I have chronic neck pain so Im constantly buying new pillows to help support my head properly at night. I typically end up with contoured foam type but they leave me feeling like I need to strech my back every morning. I decided to go w this unusual shaped pillow and I havent had any back or neck pain in a week. I used all the inserts as I prefer a firmer support and its also super hot which the instructions say will make the foam softer. I really like the shape as it allows my sholders to lie at the best angle and its not nearly as bulky as my countoured pillows. Also I didnt know I needed the ear holes but theyre actually quite comfy, my only gripe is if I put my ear too far back in the hole (toward the middle) my mouth tends to sink into the ear hole and its hard to breathe. Fingers crossed this pillow lasts cause its a keeper for sure!
I have chronic neck pain so Im constantly buying new pillows to help support my head properly at night. I typically end up with contoured foam type but they leave me feeling like I need to strech my back every morning. I decided to go w this unusual shaped pillow and I havent had any back or neck pain in a week. I used all the inserts as I prefer a firmer support and its also super hot which the instructions say will make the foam softer. I really like the shape as it allows my sholders to lie at the best angle and its not nearly as bulky as my countoured pillows. Also I didnt know I needed the ear holes but theyre actually quite comfy, my only gripe is if I put my ear too far back in the hole (toward the middle) my mouth tends to sink into the ear hole and its hard to breathe. Fingers crossed this pillow lasts cause its a keeper for sure!

My wife has only been able to sleep on her right side for some time, this has resulted in irration to her ear which becomes painful to sleep on.

TMD suffere
The pillow was bought for me as a gift as I suffer from a TMD and research suggested that this would be good. It’s early days but it seems good so far and I’m experimenting with the different pillow thicknesses to work out which suits me best. Excellent customer service from PureComfortGoods – they couldn’t have been more obliging in terms of advice and sending me a spare pillow case.

I had this pillow on my Amazon list for a while debating if I wanted to spend $70 on a pillow. I have always had outer ear pain at night and would buy cheap foam pillows and cut out an ear hole with scissors. Because of the price, I thought this one would be a better quality version, and I appreciated that the pillowcase was specially made to accommodate the holes and came with risers to make it the height you want. The first night I used it as is, the second night I tried it with one riser, and the third and fourth nights I used two. Half way through the fourth night, I realized that my head was at a different angle because my jaw was kind of sunk in a crack in the pillowcase. Both sides had torn from the ear holes to the bottom of the pillow. There is a fabric covering that doesn’t come off, so I put a flashlight under the middle of the pillow to show the cracks in the pillow. It was great the first few nights, other than being a bit firmer than I prefer. However, now I don’t think it is worth what I paid, considering it was only used four times before it fell apart.
Edit: I contacted the manufacturer and they are sending me a replacement. I’ll add more stars if this one holds up better. So far customer service has been great.

worth trying!
I purchased this pillow a year ago because I sleep on my side exclusively and have painful cartilage nodules on both ears. Before the purchase I had resorted to carving holes in 3″ foam from the craft store and using that as my lower pillow – not terribly comfortable but better than any regular pillow. In addition it helps me fall asleep if I cover my exposed ear – regular pillows would stay in place there, but the pressure of even a lightweight pillow really hurt my ear.
I am a small woman. The height of this PureComfort side sleeper pillow, minus “risers” , is perfect but the sides (between outside edge and hole) are long enough that it makes breathing through my nose tricky. My compromise is to use the craft foam pillow for below and the PureComfort above. Making a head sandwich : ))
The Pure Comfort is dense and supremely soft. Because the hole doesn’t go all the way through, the pillow acts like a noise canceling headphone – making voices and car traffic on my busy street disappear. The lack of pressure on my ear cartilage has helped heal it. I’d been afraid the memory foam would be hot in the summertime, but it stays comfortable all night long.
I expect this is an unconventional way to use this pillow but it works wonderfully for me. If they every came out with a smaller version I’d get it too!
great pillow for side sleepers with earplugs
Just what I wanted – very comfortable to sleep on the side with earplugs in. The pillow cover is very soft as well. Highly recommended.
Perfect for me
I got this after trying another pillow with a hole, and have found this one so much better. It’s super soft and squidgy, but also keeps enough depth when your head is on it (unlike other pillows with holes which seem to provide support by being hard and uncomfortable). I was worried that my ear wouldn’t stay in the small hole all night, but actually this seems less of a problem than when I was using a previous pillow with a larger hole. It acts as more of a definitive ‘slot’ and keeps it there! There are two inserts you can use to change the depth of pillow, and it comes with a washable pillow case (unlike other brands where the case is purchased separately). The pillow case also fully covers the pillow, unlike other brands where the part of the pillow around the hole is left exposed.
I do have to use a different pillow if I’m sitting up in bed – the shape of this just doesn’t lend itself to reclining on it, but I guess it’s fair enough as it does its primary job really well. I think a second pillowcase could have been included considering the price too, as it’s a bit of a pain to have to wash and dry it within a day.

Helps relieve ear pai
I’ve been having problems when wearing ear plugs for a while now, with pain in my right ear when sleeping on my right side. I really needed something that could help solve this problem. I looked at other options, but this one seemed to get a lot of good reviews. The ability to return it within 100 days gave a bit of peace of mind. Having used it for a few weeks now, I’d recommend it. The pain has reduced significantly. Thank you Pure Comfort. 🙂 It would be good to get a version that combines the holes for the ears and the firmness/contours that seems to be required for reducing snoring, as that is an issue I have too.

Pillow purchased specifically to ease comfort of a painful jaw. I was a bit uncertain as not sure if it would work and worried that I might be wasting my money as I have done with lots of other pillows in the past. I need not have worried as the pillow is very comfortable and eased the pain from the first night. Well worth the outlay.

Pillow was great until after ~6 months the foam ripped from the ear holes down to the bottom. Foam could also be firmer.
Update: Contacted seller and was informed that, “Due to the design of the pillow with the patented air channels (so one doesn’t experience the seashell effect with their ear in the holes), if they get pulled apart too much they can cause the foam to tear which has happened (this is actually not a defect). We stand by our warranty! We would rather have the product have this feature so it works really well, with the knowledge we may have to replace a few pillows down the road. If this happened again, we would indeed replace them as well.”
I was promptly provided a replacement pillow. I am very impressed with the provided customer service and am once again a happy consumer. I would gladly do business with this company again.

I can’t sleep on my back due to sleep apnea, can’t sleep on my front as get problems with nasal congestion and am prone to ear pressure pain as sleep with wax earplugs. So must sleep on my side. These pillow holes really do give better, deeper sleep with less need to move during the night. Money well spent.

Very comfortable pillow
I have been struggling to find the right pillow from since I was about 17. I have a connective tissue disorder and my neck needs support, but it can’t be too firm. My latest water pillow needed replacing and I spent moths trying to find a substitute. I came across this one and looking at it made me realise for the first time how much my ears always hurt. The lack of strong connective tissue makes the cartilage quite weak and my ears always end up scrunched up on the pillow since I’m a side sleeper.
I was worried though the memory foam might be too firm.
I ordered anyway and the pillow was delivered that same day with prime.
It felt lovely and soft and came with two extra pads for hight adjustment.
I slept on it as is the first night, but it didn’t feel quite right.
The next night I put on of the extra layers on and that made all the difference. The pillow is soft, yet provides adequate support for my slipping vertebrae and my ears feel so much better.
I’m really happy with my purchase. Since it’s summer, I can’t say how firm it’ll be when temperatures drop, but I have faith in my new pillow 🙂
I purchased this glorious mound of fluffy foam, initially, for recent cartilage piercings that will take months to heal and for which it is serving it’s purpose beautifully and comfortably. However, and to my elated surprise, I have already noticed a difference in my chronic TMJ symptoms I have had for more than 20 years. My jaw is able to rest much more comfortably thru the night and has been markedly more relaxed during the day. The “popping” when opening and closing my jaw is much less, a gentle soft burst bubble pop vs the harsh, loud and sometimes painful popcorn pop. I look forward to the long-term benefits of using this pillow and the healing that’s happening. I will take it with me wherever I go. I will wear it out and happily buy another. Tempted to buy an extra ” just in case”. Seriously, it is THAT great.
Very confortable and could be ajustable
With this product, my cervical spine and the muscles in the neck zone got better and relaxed. The hole in the ear seems to be strange, but in reality, when you using the pillow you always search for the hole. It makes you feel more comfortable.

This pillow is simply awesome. 2nd one i’ve bought and suits my needs perfectly as a side sleeper wearing earplugs. Soft yet supportive (unless perhaps you have a particularly big head?) Also the customer care from the company is brilliant.

I have used this pillow for 5 nights so far and am very pleased with it.
It doesn’t smell of chemicals, it’s soft but supportive and best of all, I wake up able to hear clearly.
Ugly little pillow...but! no more throbbing ear pain, super comfortable.
I took my time to use this before reviewing it. This is not a big poofy fluffy pillow that will sit on your grand king sized bed next to your other poofy but useless pillows. This pillow is 100% workhorse. I have never used a pillow like this before, and hopefully will only use this one from here on out. My ear pain that I would get almost every night from my other feather, synthetic, and even more firm memory foam pillows would wake me up at night with throbbing ears, and often I had a lot of trouble getting the right support and wake with neck pain.
I ordered this out of desperation and am so glad! It’s soft enough around the ears without losing its support, and comes with a couple of inserts that raise the height of the pillow if you prefer (I use both of these inserts). I appreciate that I can lie on my side to read with glasses on, and the holes will support the glasses frame enough that I can actually read comfortably.
The company also sent me a free extra pillowcase. I do use a regular pillowcase over the one it came with, just so it won’t get bullied sitting on the bed with the poofy ones who look pretty but don’t get used. This pillow changed my sleep quality, and I highly recommend it.

Neck pain reduced after one nigh
Best pillow I’ve ever tried. It has helped reduce neck pain and notably I wake feeling less groggy. It also helps to cradle my head, I like to sleep both on my side and mid way between back and side sleeping and this keeps my head from ‘over turning’ so to speak. To achieve this with other pillows I would use a fist under my head, which would jam up my shoulder/s. It is suuuper soft but due to shape/design still manages to feel very supportive. I don’t have trouble with my ears but having the holes helps to keep alignment/positioning and has reduced crunching of frown muscle above eyebrow. Customer service is prompt and friendly and I’m in no doubt that if you decide it’s not for you it’d be fuss free returns. With that in mind, absolutely worth trying.

Also, love the pockets for my ears, I have had trouble in the past with my ears sinking into the pillow and when I would raise up it would cause a suction on my eardrum which resulted in severe dizziness. The great point is, that I can choose whether I want to use the ear holes or sleep in the middle of the pillow. I also put my small Cd remote in the pocket and it doesn't interfere with my comfort but I still have access to the remote during the night. Good for Side Sleep with Neck Issues
I purchased my pillow almost 6 months ago. Next to a Tempur-Pedic which was about double this price, PureComfort is the most comfortable pillow I’ve found. Initially, I bought a soft PureComfort because I didn’t see the last word in the description as I compared pillows on Amazon. Although it was more comfortable than a couple of other pillows I tried, the height was a little low for me and still left me with some neck discomfort. When I revisited the PureComfort site, I realized there was a standard version of this pillow that would be firmer. I bought that pillow and got the height I need. At this price point, PureComfort provides me with the best pillow I’ve found. The cover is soft. When I contacted PureComfort to assure that the second pillow would be standard firmness, their representative was quick to respond and especially helpful. Now, I ordered a pillow for my daughter–a side sleeper with an ear piercing that can get irritated with too much pressure. My pillow is just as comfy after six months of use as it was when I bought it.
Update about 16 months into use: my daughter and I still love our PureComfort pillows. I’m about to buy one for my other daughter and get a spare or two because I think it’s that comfortable. I’m also going to share this page with my chiropractor because this pillow provides me with great support and comfort.

I bought this product because I suffer with TMJ. It took me a night to get used to because it is very different to other pillows and you need to work out the height that suits you (you get inserts to adjust height as required) but now I use it every day and it is very supportive. The ear holes are great to take pressure off the ears, which is also good for pierced ears. The customer service is excellent, I was contacted to see if I needed any advice on the pillow and if I’d like another pillow case shipped free of charge which they have done. Would highly recommend this product if you are looking for additional support for your head and neck whilst you sleep. It is worth the money and I am really pleased I invested in the pillow.

I first heard about these pillows on the “AskDoctorJo” Youtube channel. I have tried many different pillows from this brand and that brand, and none of them were all that great. Then one day I was watching a Doctor Jos video and she was using one, so I paid a visit to Amazon and boy am I glad I did. Been using this pillow now for about two weeks. I have broad shoulders and so finding a pillow with the correct height (not to mention, comfort) was very important. Then, my 7-year old son liked mine so much, I bought another one just for him. I think there might even be a third one soon as my wife is having neck issues with her old (non-PureComfort) pillow. Customer service is the best too. I got an email from the president of the company offering to send me an additional pillow case for free.
