Good game
Overall this game was good however compared to previous R&C games I have played in the past I found this one a bit too easy. After conquering worlds, when you go back there sre virtually no enemies to fight so this makes charging up your weapons a bit time consuming. Also there is no death match mode like the others where you had to fight increasing levels of enemies, instead there is a hoverboard race. That being said, the game was still enjoyable.

Casual gaming: a wi
Finally. A game that understands “casual gaming” is me not wanting to swear at my screen or any of the characters. Have been happily breezing through the story, and found it very enjoyable.
One downside (and I’m not marking it down for this) is that there seems to be a LOT of cut-scenes. But it does mean I can go to the loo, tidy up a bit and allow my lack of focus to take over.
Looking forward to trying it on”normal” playing levels.
Wish all games had a casual level this casual. I would buy more games!
Ratchet and Clank PS4 game
Very good game but since this version has been made to go along with the movie it’s lost a lot of the original story from the very first Ratchet and Clank game I remember playing when I was a lot younger it’s still very good but just not really what I remember I would still recommend this game

This is an amazing update. Everything more polished than the original PS2 version and with extras and it has been designed to be a little different in content to the PS2 version so you wont just be buying a more polished update. Recommended purchase.

Oh yes! Who doesn’t love ratchet and clank? I am a big kid when it comes to this game I can’t stop playing it. My nephew loves this game we can’t get him off the PS4 when it’s on but it keeps him happy and quiet so no complaints there.

Great reboot, I genuinely laughed out loud a few times and enjoyed both my play throughs (there’s a challenge mode after your first completi for those who want to go for platinum trophy). Graphics are good and would recommend this game.

I have every version of the whole series so I did the game in two days, one if you really add it up. Sold game and great for bringing in your kids and family.

Not only a great game, but the graphics are superb, and the options seem to go on and on. Just like watching a amni film, and allowed to dictate the play.
The screen is never cluttered with info, that you really don’t need to see constantly.
If you want a new experience, play casual mode, and wait to get lambasted, by the story teller.

I got this for nostalgia and it totally holds up.
Brought back memories of my early Playstation times. Had this on ps1 or 2 ,, been so long I can’t remember,, but did remember it was a mindless blast of fun and colour. This is exactly as I remember it, upgraded for the latest cinsoles power. Amultitude of weapons of all types can be collected on the way through the very colourful planet scapes and space stations. Fun for all ages nothing wrong with being a big kid and playing this. Excellent fun !!!!!.

At long last ratchet and clank is back.
Fans new and old can enjoy this one as this is a remake rather than remaster of the first original ratchet and clank game originally released for the ps2.
The controls are easy enough for beginners to pick up and mixes gameplay of 3rd person shooters and platform games with rpg levelling system in play.
This game looks beautiful on a standard ps4 in 1080p but it really shines in 4k hdr on the ps4 pro with vibrant and vivid colours and makes it feel like a different game.
The game lasts for a little while and even longer if you try to collect everything this game has to offer in this instance max level weapons and rare bolts needed to upgrade gear.
Highly recommended for platform lovers.

I was honestly scared when they announced this game as I was such a fan of them on the old consoles. I was happily wrong, Insomniac did the franchise justice, it looked beautiful and blasted my expectations out of the water. The story, gameplay, weapon mechanics and characters were great as usual with a graphics boost on the latest play station console. I hope kids get the same experience I did and still do at 23.
Really enjoyed it. It is a re-imagining (not port, as a lot has changed) of the original on the PS2, but enough has changed to make it feel fresh. It also looks gorgeous – at times it’s on a par with a Pixar movie.
So why only four stars? Well because it isn’t the best in the series to date and at times feels a little rushed (some of the cutscenes conflict what has just happened in the game, albeit only on a minor scale, and some of the audio isn’t as clear as it should be or in keeping with the setting…e.g in one underwater section, where you are a good few metres underwater, the sound effect is of a tap dripping………hmmm).
It’s a complete no-brainer of a purchase though if you’ve ever enjoyed a R&C game before or are looking for a fun arcade adventure to play through. It’s also hilarious at times, including continuing the trend of superb weaponry that again could be taken straight from a Pixar movie.
