I love the R&C games
I love the R&C games, and to be fair to it this is a really fun game. I was a little disappointed that they felt the need to change quite as much as they did from the original, and I was surprised that, if they bothered to do so, that they then did not include a lot of footage from the film that was released around the same time to flesh out the game’s story a little bit. Still a classic, and a lot of fun to play, but didn’t reach it’s potential. It’s also very easy. The Insomniac Museum was also quite disappointing.

Awesome, fun and another classic for the Ratchet & Clank series, this a reworking of the original from the PS2 but don’t be put off! It makes it even more enjoyable and the graphics/gameplay and humour never gets old!
Good time waste
Really enjoyed this game, Quite a short game on easy setting but purchased it second hand so was well worth it and enjoyed every minute 🙂
If you haven’t played the original or an old time fan, this game is great. The graphics are the best of the series and the gameplay is so polished, definitely uses the capabilities of the PS4. My only complaint with the story is that it focused a bit too much on the other characters and sometimes I didn’t know who was who at times. However, everything involving Ratchet, Clank and Quark was great and most of the corny jokes and references that the series is on point. The story is only as good as the original. I hope after Spider Man, the developers focus on remaking the next two in the original trilogy. Another minor complaint I had with the game and this has been a since a Crack in Time is that it is a few hours shorter than the original series. There are one or two planets in the first game that I really would have liked to visit is this remake. On the other hand, whilst slightly easier than the original, it is still more challenging than other games in this genre currently. For this price, it is great that you can get so much content that triple A games do not provide. If want the No Man’s Sky experience without getting bored, buy this, you’ll be happier for it and save money. This is a fantastic gaming experience. If this is the last of these games I would be happy but I highly doubt that.

Ordered during Pre-Order and received early on release day. Great game storyline, even got my partner into playing it….so much for it being for kids eh!
Wonderful
A beaurifle nostalgia trip that transported me back to my early teens. A well constructed game with beautiful visuals great voice acting and a lovely plot. Plently of weapon variety and planet variety. Took me about 5 days to complete 3 times and platinum but I was playing solidly and not taking my time. I just wanted as much as quickly as possible.
Much better than the post tools of destruction games.

Fantastic Fun Game
I love this game, the graphics are great and the gameplay involving, fast paced and really fun. Amusing and self deprocating to the original game, it’s a great romp through various worlds with whole host of different weapons and gadgets to play with. If you want to kill an hour or so it’s great to just blast through a mission, otherwise you can waste a whole day. It’s not super long but it is super fun. Noinch.

An all around amazing game!. I was expecting more such as story length, gladiator tornoment, weapons and some old refrences/planets that are not there anymore. I do hope they mimic the second and third game now that they’ve restarted the franchise as the first 3 games where legendary to say the least!

The perfect reincarnation of Ratchet and Clank
A game that I use to play back in the days of PlayStation 2 when I was very young. To see this title re-released on PS4 really did excite me as playing this perfect reincarnation of Ratchet and Clank gave me a major throwback to my early gaming days. A fantastic game that even excites those who have been gamers for a good period of time.

LOTS OF FUN!
It’s a short game but lots of fun. Make sure you buy and upgrade ALL the guns as you play. I made the mistake of not doing this and now I’m stuck on the last boss without enough firepower to defeat him and no way of going back.

A Nostalgic Treat.
What a fantastic game. The nostalgia is a big part of why I brought this game and it doesn’t disappoint in the slightest.
The story and environments are engaging and fun, the weapons are whacky and brilliantly upgradable.
If you are a long time fan of the series or a new comer, this game and the series has always been fantastic and this game brilliantly continues that fashion. I believe the price has even been reduced further (27.99 when i brought it) so it is a bargain for a full game.

I love the series and I think it is a great game if you are either a fan of the series or even new to the series. Very fun and occasionally challenging. Good balance and visually good graphics. Not the longest of story lines but this is a remake of a PS2 game so you can’t expect hours on end. Very good new features that have been added when compared to the original Ratchet & Clank for the PS2. All in all, a very fun and enjoyable game no matter on your skill level or age.

Brilliant game! Very enjoyable. My 8 year old loves it! So much to do, but the puzzle levels can be quite difficult to figure out on own at that age, so if you’re a parent buying for that age group, be prepared to help out!
If you like Ratchet and Clank as much as I do
It’s an old adventure reinvented to be fresh. If you like Ratchet and Clank as much as I do, you’ll love this. It’s the fun of blasting baddies across different planets that we’ve enjoyed since the original dropped on PS2, only now the graphics are unreal. My only knock on this game is that they changed the story, and while I enjoyed some parts of it, I felt others impacted the story too much for the worse, and created some inconsistencies with later games. If you don’t care about that stuff though, then good for you! If you do, you’ll enjoy it anyway, so I’d recommend it regardless.
A great re-release of an old favourite
Bought this game as a present for my grandson who is deeply into game playing. He remembers playing the original game and greatly enjoyed this improved version with its excellent graphics.

I can’t believe this is being sold for less than 20. How the hell are they making profit, this is an absolute steal. Fantastic game, probably wouldn’t rate it as a 5* usually, but for this price you can’t complain at all.

This game is one of the best games from my childhood, to have it back on PS4 is incredible, much like the game itself. Firstly this game arrived on the day of release! Next the graphics of this are superb, its been made to look so good! The gameplay feels so much better than on the PS2, without taking the original feel of the game away.This game is perfect for all ages and will easily give hours of gameplay to everyone. I just wish they had made the RYNO a bit more overpowered!

All the Nostalgia
As the title says. This was on of my first ps2 games back way in 2002. I like how they added things but still stayed true to the original. Its remarkable how much you remember from something so long ago but it was literally like playing the first ratchet and clank all over again. For people new to the ratchet and clank series this is a definite buy, but for people not. well I don’t really need to review it for you as you would have already probably preordered and completed it several times by now as I have.

Addictive game
Bought this for my grandchildren to play on my PS4 and been playing it myself. Lol. Remember this on the PS3 and it’s basically the same with better graphics. All I can say is I’m enjoying it. Service was very quick, next day, thank you Amazon.
At first I was hesitant at how much I would enjoy this as the change of story had me thinking I would end up at the end of the game wishing it was the same as before. What they have done however is create a seriously fun game where the story does not disappoint, they have improved upon all the original levels that create a vastly more vibrant and alive world. The humour is classic Ratchet and Clank and the gameplay and set pieces are some of the best in the franchise all with interesting new weapons and of course the amazing graphics which I have to say might actually be some of the best on any console right now. Absolutely worth a buy for children, teenagers and adults, this is a game that captures the essence of fun and provides a wonderful experience for gamers of any age. I am really hoping the success story of this game will show Insomniac Games and consumers alike just how relevant this genre of game still is and how refreshing it is as a gamer to be able to play something like this in the current generation of games.

Great retelling of the origin story
It’s a breath of fresh air for the PS4, it’s a great return for Ratchet and Clank. The story is a retelling of the origin story, the weapons are crazy as per usual, there are a few fun weapons that were missed but all can be forgiven, as the graphics and gameplay are what is expected of this franchise.

Entertaining
Overall good game. I have always been a big fan of the ratchet and clank series. This is not much different to the previous games, visual graphics is very good with some enjoyable levels and I had lots of fun with the weapons. Longevity is not that great, I completed the game in less than 10 hours and the majority of enemies dissappear when returning to previously completed levels.

I’ve played loads of reboots like spyro and crash bandicoot ect and they always seem to disapoint. However finally someone makes a good reboot by sticking with the orginal game setups and just improving it instead of starting from scratch. The graphics are good enough, weapons still level up in amazing jumps, a new currency has been added along side bolts to controll upgrades.

Love this game! The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is literally out of this world! Is a must buy for any fans of the ratchet and Clank series.
Brought this on the original the PS2 and played it so much back then. This time its so much better. Its such a good looking game, Insomniac games have out done themselves here. There’s some great voice acting in it aswell, some very funny bits in it actually. This is the only reason i brought a PS4 (well apart from Uncharted). I’m well over the 7+ age and still find it a pleasure to play. Brings back so many good memories. Whether your a fan of the old Rachet & Clank’s or even the series its a fantastic game. The re playability on it is great especially when you unlock the cheats. One recommendation though, check the trophies before you play the game. I had to do multiple play through’s because I missed some, no that its a complaint as loved every play through!
Having never played Ratchet and Clank before, I was dubious about buying this. But seeing as this is a reboot, I decided to go for it and was glad I did.
Although there is some jokes made about the past games, as a newbie I was completely able to follow the storyline without any issues.
It starts by introducing you to the two main characters – Ratchet and Clank and then gradually introduces you to new characters, friends, villians and different planets to explore.
The levels feel lengthy and there is the choice to go back after you complete the game to complete any optional missions you didn’t manage during the first pass.
Great graphics and an interesting enough storyline to keep you intrigued.
Kind of had a Sonic/Rayman feel to it but a lot more complex with levels that felt like open worlds for you to explore the way you like.
Can’t speak for old fans, but if you haven’t played it before then I’d recommend it!

Great game for both existing and new fans of the series. Visuals are stunning, gameplay flows very nicely, with a good set of weapons available, along with a nice story based on the original game. My only downside is I wish the story was longer, however I still got a great amount of playtime with my value for money and with the challenge mode I can come back to it and start over with my weapons and upgrades. I recommend to buy!
Serious fu
I bought this on a whim to wash away the foul taste of Bloodbourne. I’ve not played one of these more light-hearted fun type games for many years so I didn’t expect much. I was blown away, never had this much fun on a video game since I don’t know when. Perfect playability, intuitive controls and out-of-this-world production values. Not just the graphics, which are the first that I’ve seen to do decent credit to the PS4’s abilities, but the design, slickness and entire visual / audio experience. Just fantastic all round.

A great remake of an old favourite. The plot has been changed quite a lot, some due to elements introduced in the original’s sequels and some foe the movie. The integration of weapons from other games is a nice touch and there is plenty of fan service.

As a long time fan of the Ratchet & Clank series I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this game.
It’s a reboot of the first game in the series, retelling the story of how Ratchet met Clank and became the galaxy saving dynamic duo.
Firstly the graphics and visuals of this game are stunning! The planets are bold, beautiful and full of life with gorgeous vistas and skyboxes. The levels are reimagined from the first game and aren’t just an exact copy, but they are familiar to return fans.
Secondly, there are plenty of gadgets, weapons and upgrades to get your teeth into, and numerous ways in which to defeat your foes with style. From the simple Combustor blaster pistol, to the dance inducing Groovitron.
And lastly, the comedic value of this game is amazing, with a mix of slapstick humour, amusing enemy design and random one liners and jokes.
In all, this game is a must buy for any returning fans of the series or newcomers as a starting point. The game is great for kids and adults alike, and is definitely family friendly. Please dont miss this game!
