A brilliant toy for the inquisitive mind.
This is a brilliant toy. A great way to get kids to construct endless configurations of tracks. Its a great way to learn. I wish this was about when i was a kid

My 5 year old gandson LOVED this-after a bit of introduction, he spent hours creating his own tracks. Easy to read instructions. Great gift!

So glad got the XXL starter pack (on special offer) as there are a number of extra elements, such as a loop, included.

Bought this for my 9 year old grandson, who is a whiz with lego so thought he might like this. He just loves it. So much so that his parents have purchased more additions to it.

I bought some space rail a few years back and loved it but it has the problem of not being something your ment to disassemble and rebuild often, gravitrax does all the right things, its easy to build/take apart and you can mess around and tweak with it for hours on end. I recommend getting the XXL set to get the most out of it and it will give you plenty to play around with before you inevitably start browsing the expansions.

My kids (10 year old twins) loved the set they got at Christmas so much that they bought this XXL set with their own money to expand what they had. Unfortunately, one of them came to me in floods of tears 10 minutes after they opened it as he had broken one of the special pieces as some of them need to be assembled. I was able to fix it up with some hot glue, but maybe an adult should assemble the pieces that need assembly. It’s an expensive set to have a piece break so fast.

Our 9 yr old son loves Gravitrax. Excellent for creative play, strategic thinking and planning, testing (and strengthening) patience! He has happily played for hours. All family members can get involved. Recommend.

I think I love it more than my daughter but it is possibly the most satisfying thing in the world.

I’m a 36 year old bloke but still a kid at heart and I decided to treat myself to this so I had a new toy to play with. I’ve had it out each evening since, I love it! I started with the track designs from the booklet but soon ignored them and designed my own. It’s very tricky in all honesty and really gets the brain cells whirring. Too steep a ramp and the ball may fly off a tight curve, not steep enough and it wont make it at all. Add in the extra bits like the magnetic cannon and hammer and it becomes more complicated.
The basic concept is, well, basic, but whole thing pieces together beautifully and it should keep kids and adults entertained for hours, weeks and years.
I was weighing up whether to buy this XXL version or the standard starter pack and I’m really glad I chose this as I’ve bought add ons and can still use up some of the pieces. Which does bring me on to the small negatives:
1. I think you need more grey/black tower pieces. It’s probably my inefficient designs but I seem to run out of those before anything else.
2. It could do with some storage bags for the different pieces otherwise you just have a big box full of loose bits.
I’d certainly recommend this though. It’s not cheap but the quality is high. It’s all plastic but seems very well built and it should last for a long while.
One very last warning though, be prepared to spend more money. I only got this on Monday and I’ve spent 50 on expansion packs already!!

Very solid marble run that is intuitive and easy to use. It actually works, unlike cheaper alternatives that are generally rickety and fall apart. The kids notice the difference in quality.

I can’t praise this highly enough. It’s the one toy that gets taken out of the cupboard day after day. Endless ways of setting up the track on multiple levels. It’s worth getting a large set as it allows multiple set ups.

Children love it. More robust than marble run. Clever additions. Base plates are a bit vulnerable though if younger brothers are around and kneel on them, as they are more easily broke

Gravitrax is a beautifully made & very versatile system with much scope for one’s imagination. I now have 2 of these starter packs plus some extras the best of which are the scoop (cascade) & flipper. I am having to be strict with myself about how much time I spend with it each day.
