High Quality Piece of Ki
We needed a selfie ring, but we wanted one that was floor-standing, and would be high enough to peep over the top of a monitor, or be used to light someone standing and speaking to camera. We also wanted it to be robust enough to tolerate being moved around the house for different applications, such as video sessions, product photography, etc. I read a lot of mixed reviews for other (cheaper) models and gave up on them. We are really pleased that we paid more for something solid and versatile. My OH used it for a LinkedIn Live meeting today and it worked a treat. An excellent item.
Not the best build quality, but otherwise good
I only got this to take nicer photos of books for Instagram, since the lighting in my house is terrible, so this was probably a bit OP for my needs. It works great and was easy enough to set up. The stand is nicely adjustable for different heights and it’s easy to detach bits if you need to take it apart.
My only quibble is that the translucent plastic cover for the ring section comes in four segments, which don’t quite fit together flush in my lamp. I tried to push them back together, but one always sticks out a bit. It doesn’t seem to affect the quality of light, but maybe if I were a professional photographer, that’s something I would notice.

Well, let me tell you that after I upgrade the quality of the lights in my videos, my Tiktok account grew a lot. Right now, I am over 70K followers there and this beauty helped me A LOT with it.
If you wanna get serious as a content creator this is a MUST. I will highly recommend these lights to everybody out there who is looking forward to making better content, you don’t know how your life will change until you have used it.

Great light, versatile, very bright, but …the power cord from the 13amp plug to the AC/DC adapter was faulty. Rather than pack up the whole thing again, I am making do with a cord from another appliance – but it was annoying and rather disappointing, given the price of the product.

Great for portraits, or vloggers !
Ideal for nice portraits without getting the blinking eyes when the flash goes off. You can see before you take the shot exactly where the light is and gives you that lovely circle of light in the eyes. If you go into a dept store and pass the ‘makeup section’ you’ll see them using these lights to give an even light to the face.

Super simple to set up and use comes with a high quality sturdy stand. Also come with interchangeable accessories so you can attach a phone or camera. There are some built in preset buttons that go between warm and bright, warm and dim, white and bright, white and dim. Perfect for an amateur photographer who isn’t used to working with varying light kelvins. One of the best buys this year! I was looking for a good makeup light and I came across this by chance. I decided to get it and I will be buying another. This is a good product that comes together fine and has very good lighting and lighting variance. Putting it together would have been much easier had the seller included all or better instructions. I eventually had to email the seller and they sent me a separate sheet to explain how to mount the light on the stand and fix the camera/phone holder. Why wasn’t this included in the original packaging. I bought this for my daughters 15th birthday and she really likes.
Happy use
This is one of the best product I have ever used. I use to make some educational video. But I was never happy about the lighting. But after this I am fully satisfied and my search is over for shooting light. There are so many different setting to from. Very portable just put your in a bag and you can take it anywhere. That’s not all they even give a bag which is also a great quality. Amazing product.

Great light, good starter.
I got this light for a bit of a variety mix of purposes.
For improving the quality of phone video, it’s been perfect for me, it fills the role of tripod and allows me to film things I’m working on in clear detail with very little shadow. It also makes for an effective worklight while doing so, making having to think about that side redundant.
I also got it with the intent of doing macros, however it covers portraits well too, as well as making a good fill light for even quite challenging lighting photos, like filling in strong lightsource subjects like lamps.
The carry bag and all is good, the stand itself is sturdy, however the connection between the light and the stand can be wobbly if it’s not adjusted perfectly. The included mounting hardware is all good, the phone mount in particular stood out as being well thought out. The power lead is sensibly long too, a relatively important ease of use thing.
I found the performance across colour temperatures to be pretty consistent and the settings seem to line up well.
Overall, this lights a good buy for a number of situations but if I were to point out a big target here it would be an amazing entry in to great photos of hair, makeup etc with just a phone – a great starter for any business that needs to show off their work for people. Or small product photography

I wasn’t totally convinced this product would work for a professional photographer as it’s much cheaper than most studio lights. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The stand is not particularly solid but actually its light weight works well when I’m travelling with my studio and the ring light is super light so doesn’t put any undue weight on the stand. The controls are easy to use and you have full flexibility over the brightness of the light, which is easily dimmable, and the colour temperature. This would be a perfect light for other professions, such as YouTubers, makeup artists and videographers and is also ideal for stills photography. I did a portrait shoot, as you can see in the video and the ring catchlight is a great effect. The model was super-happy with the results. I didn’t use any other lighting at all. So for 99.99 this is a great piece of kit. It comes with a protective carry bag. It will definitely get some use in my work and I will be using it for a product shoot next.
Great ligh
I use this light for when I’m doing people’s eyebrows. It’s very bright and is great during treatment and for before & after photos.
I’ve had this light for 6 weeks now, and been using it fairly regularly.
The light:
This circular LED light is 1.7 kilograms of very configurable and powerful lighting.
The light is strongly built and doesn’t flex while I was handling it. The controls “click” firmly and don’t “false-click” when I pushed them.
The output of the settings screen is illuminated blue so that you can still see the screen when the light is on, and the rear is in darkness.
I found at skimming angles to the screen I couldn’t see the display – but it was nearly fully side on! So you may want to move it a foot away from the walls of your studio to ensure you can see the settings clearly.
It can be controlled in a group of other lights wirelessly to ensure you can rapidly adjust your light rig without endlessly running around.
The light can be on any of 48 channels, and 5 groups – and will follow lights on the same channel and group.
This means this light really comes into its own when you have several lights in your studio – main, catch, fill lights and so on…
Power:
The power adaptor (transformer) powers the light with a safe 15 volt, 4 amp direct-current supply. So if you knock this light over, and it lands in a water bowl, or knocks over glasses of beverage, you’re not going to be in danger from mains power. The specs say it’s a 55 watt supply – nice and powerful.
Tripod:
The tripod is great for the light and mobile phone set up. Giving a secure and stable frame.
For the heavier DSLR’s with a large prime and affixed audio equipment – and especially when all that is mounted at off-axis angles – you may want to consider a wider-based tripod. You’re likely to already have several.
Photos.
In the following photographs, I’ve focused on the details of the light rather than showing it in the studio so that you can see its construction quality and individual features the light has, as well as the light output based entirely on the single light source of the light.
A: The hot-shoe connectors from left to right. The mobile phone holder. This can rotate horizontally or vertically, and has a holder that you screw tight around your phone – this makes it much easier to remove your phone because you’re not fighting a spring that can (has for me!) launched my phone across the floor.
There’s a little adjustment screwdriver for the top of the tripod. Next is a long straight mount, finally on the right is a ball joint mount for adjusting the angle of the phone/camera.
B: The power supply, instructions, quick-start for the tripod, and feedback card.
C: The main controls.
On the top are two little hole mounts for a mirror, in-between is a hot-shoe holder. Below that is the main control box.
On the left are the power switch, and the 15 volts DC plug (for the supplied power pack). Then the main screen (blue glow) below which are the control buttons for pre-sets and radio controls. Finally on the right is the spinner and select button for changing the brightness and colour warmth in small increments.
D: The tripod base.
The fold down base design gives good stability without being a lot of weight. An extra set of arms for each leg flex out and prevent the base from spinning on its access – which is needed for a circular light. The base poles have little rubber feat at the end of each one.
E: The travel bag.
This has pockets within to hold the light, power supply and cables without having them banging around.
It comes with a shoulder strap, and handle for holding while walking. The material is canvas, and well constructed with strong stitching and seams.
F: Here is the light mounted on the tripod, with the mobile phone attached in the horizontal position. (It can be vertical if required).
The tripod is shown at it’s MINIMUM height, using the screw handles just below the controller box situated under the circle light, you can stretch out the light to double it’s height.
G: The light can be angled down more than 90 degrees past vertical. ( a little past horizontal).
As you can see the tripod is comfortably holding the light in place without over balancing. Rather important to know!
H: Here is a DSLR camera mounted on the ball head hot-shoe mount.
There’s plenty of space for the camera, battery pack, and audio devices within the circle.
You will likely need to use a wider-stance tripod when loading it with so much hardware if you plan on tilting the camera and light downwards and off axis.
I: The view from the rear of the light when a DSLR and audio equipment is mounted to the light.
As you can see there’s plenty of room for all the hardware, and space to get your hands around the camera to make adjustments, and modify cables.

The phone is an S7 Sam-sung.
K and L: Here is the light’s colour warmth comparison images with the camera taking the photos set to manual white-point so that you can see the colour cast at both ends of the light’s colour warmth abilities.
K is set to the very warm 3000 Kelvin, and L is set to cold setting of 5800 Kelvin. The colour reproduction looks good.
M and N: Here is the light’s brightness with the camera taking the photos set to manual exposure so you can compare the light output properly. M is where the light is set to the lowest brightness setting (1%) , and N is set to full 100% brightness.
O: For an interesting effect the diffuser is removable in 4 parts. Revealing a “star studded” array of two sets of cold and warm LED’s.

This light is exactly what I needed. It comes with eye protection LED lamp beads which is very important for make up photos as it protects my eyes while taking number of pics. It comes with all the essentials inside such as stand, phone and camera mounts, a very good manual and also a guide for the stand. The stand is very stable and light at the same time. It’s very simple to set up. Phone and camera holder is well made and very useful for selfies or recording make up tutorials. Brilliant light.
I’ve been looking into getting a ring light for a while, come across this one I decided to give it ago as the CRI was 97 I thought it will produce good colours on video/pictures and it certainly did. There is no messing around changing plates if you want a warmer colour the LED bulbs are built in, all you need to do is adjust the dial. Easy to setup takes less room then my softbox and doesn’t let out heat so I can carry on recording my videos without feeling hot. LED lights are cheaper to run. Build quality is good. The light comes with its own bag so you can pack it up and took it with you to shoot, video or pictures. I’m really happy with this light and hopefully will get a lot of use out of it.
Solid - Easy to use lamp
This lamp has been a massive upgrade for our YouTube set up. Previously we had been using two conventional lamps with hood reflectors, which are a) less reliable b) take up much more room and c) not as bright.
The light itself was easy to access and set up. The tripod is of good quality, robust and weighty, so there’s no wobble or risk of collapse. We don’t actually ask very much of our lights, as we don’t need to vary them, but the camera has a nice variable brightness setting. On it’s brightest setting, it’s perfect for tabletop video recording. We’re finding that the colours are much richer on our newer video (you can see the difference at the end of the video I’ve attached. )
The camera comes with a bag for carrying everything around in, if you want to do mobile photography or videos. Again ours are static, so I haven’t need to use this function. The kit isn’t heavy and against as its robust should withstand being transported. Something I wouldn’t want to have to do with our old halogen style spiral bulbs.
The phone/camera attachments on the rig are easy to use , allowing just about anybody to use the light with whatever rerecording hardware they are using.
If I had the time again, I would definitely have picked up one of these rings sooner, though they’re not cheap if you’re just starting out. The reason being, that they are so much easier to assemble and transport and give a much cleaner finished product, you’re not losing time and energy in setting your shoot up AND you’re getting an increase in quality. It’s absolutely win-win, and the cost difference between this and two less luminous lights isn’t that great.
All in all, I’m super pleased with my new light and would definitely recommend it.
I’ve tried a few different LED rings before but this one is definitely the best. It is very adjustable both brightness and colour balance (0-100% in 1% increments and 3000-5800K in 100 increments respectively) The LCD display is very useful for indicating what setting you are currently using and really makes the kit feel like it is punching above its price point.
It comes with handy attachments for mounting your phone or digital camera in the middle of the ring. It also has some plastic diffusers which help even out the light. They are one of the only things that reminds you that this is a cheaper product. The other reminder is the design and build quality of the stand. It is not very sturdy and a little bit of a confusing design as well. I ended up replacing with one of my other light stands.
Despite the stand issue it is still definitely worth the money. I can’t wait to try the remote control options.
Amazing in what you get for the price!
Photography and Videography lights re for the most part not cheap and the cheaper ones usually not really good in performance, LED quality and overall light output.
This Ring light puts out an enormous bright light, if you want, or just a warm tone soft light if you need it.
I bought this for me mainly to have better lighting with my Onscreen recordings for my Youtube Channel SkymashiTV, as the Webcam, even 4K, struggles a lot with too less light.
This one solved that problem straight away, it can put out light up to 5800 Kelvin so a cool very white light and on 100% it is super bright, which comes from the high amount of LEDs inside as can be seen on the Photos.
The Smartphone holder which comes with it, is a nice addition, although I do not use it, I can imagine for many they dont use a dedicated Camera Setup, this can be an important point.
In terms of build quality. the Stand is quite stable and very high with the long extensions, the light itself is plastic, not the highest quality feel but for that purchase price more then decent enough.
There is also a wireless remote available for it, which I did not purchase, so I can not comment on that.
So for anyone who do not want to spend hundreds of Euros to get a good Ring light, this is definitely a great buy, I love it and it is already in my daily video production a fixed part of my equipment I use.
Bright and good build
I’d highly recommend this product. I noticed similar products like this come with extra orange plastic to change the glow, no need with this Light as you can change the glow and intensity using the dial on the unit

Best ring light I have ever tried
And I tried lots of them at my studio, Neewer etc, this one has really good power but also, and most importantly for me that I shoot lots of portrait, it can go VERY low on power so it allows me to max the aperture as a I please. white balance switch and all the different screws for camera, and iphone holder are a plus, really recommended.
I wanted a new lighting solution to simplify video-making (simple head-shot videos for YouTube). This light perfectly fits my requirements.
The light is bright at its 100% setting and continuously adjustable in 100 units down to 1%. At 100%, it was brighter than I expected and will more than replace my 35W 5500K compact Fluorescent in softbox. The diffuser gives a good diffuse light. It also has a range of color temperatures that work well with my camera’s auto white balance control (I’m no pro!).
The unit is easy to set up, to use and to store, with its own carry case. It comes with a light stand which is pretty sturdy – though not rock-solid – this is not pro-tier kit.
I particularly like the five channel presets.
The unit also comes with a cold-shoe to ball-head adapter, a cold-shoe to 1/4″ rigid adapter, and a smartphone holder that can rotate the phone. I’d happily use the adapters for my phone. They do also support a mid range 3/4 mirrored camera (700D), although I plan to use the camera on the tripod and shoot through the ring. With the weight, the stand is not quite solid.
The quality of the light seems good, with no discernible color cast in my videos, but I have no means to test it. If it is at the 97CRI that the manufacturer claims, that’s astonishing for the money.
The build is what I would expect of a high-end consumer item, rather than a pro item. It’s a good quality plastic construction and the stand is light-weight steel, I think. These are all consistent with the price.
I think this will make my life easier and is well-worth the money. As long as you are not expecting a rugged metal build to professional quality, I expect you’ll be very happy with this, and for a more rigid setup, you can always use a more solid tripod.

a semi professional lighting kit with good potential
This is a great lighting kit with a lot of potential. I created a video review about the main parts. It was very easy to set this up and it does improve photo quality even in very light rooms!
Quality is amazing
Loved the product . The only thing I didn’t like was that it was a bit complicated to understand assembling.
Pros:
1) It comes with all the essentials inside. You get a stand for the light itself, phone mounts as well as camera mounts, a very good manual and also a guide for the stand.
2) You get a carrying bag for the light and the cables which is also very nice to see, and on the sides there are zippers holding foam for protection.
3) The case also has 2 spots from where you can carry it. There are normal handles as well as a sleeve (just liek a laptop bag) which is appreciated for easier handling.
4) The phone holder as well as the ball head are well made, and as shown in the video, the ball head has no problem holding a camera.
5) The cables are all very good as well, and it is nice to see a beefy power supply.
6) The stand was also very easy to use. It is very simple to set up and once it is set up, it is sturdy enough to hold both the ring light and a camera without any problems.
7) The ring light itself is amazingly built, It is very easy to remove the diffusers which is very good to see as if they break, you can easily replace them.
8) The LCD screen is also very welcomed and it shows everything very easily. You also have a backlight so if it’s pitch black around you, you can easily turn it on.
(9) There are other features as well like the group feature, wireless feature, brightness levels and also a channel feature.)
9) The brightness knob is very smooth to use. It has a good amount of brightness difference between 1% and 100% so you can easily fine tune to your liking.
10) It is also very easy to change the colour temperature. As shown in the video, you can choose between 3000K and 5800K so you also have a pretty wide range of temperature
11) There is also (as mentioned before) a button to toggle between 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% which makes it easy to adjust if you’re filming and don’t have access to the back of the light.
12) There is also a group button, which allows to change between a few different groups and save presets on them by changing brightness and/or colour temperature prior to a shoot. Then you can easily toggle between them through a press of a button (shown in the video)
13) The channel feature is also nice to have. If you have more than 1 ring light, you can put them on different channels so they don’t interfere with each other, which might cause a problem.
14) And lastly there’s the wireless button. I unfortunately couldn’t test this either since I only had 1 ring light, but you should be able to change the ring lights from 1 ring light only wirelessly.
15) There is a good amount of LED’s behind the diffuser as well so light is not a problem at all.
Cons:
Till now, I haven’t found any cons, but if I do, I will be sure to update!
Amazing for photography in poor lighting!
I’m super impressed with this light ring, it’s nice and big but all folds away into a carry case with shoulder strap. It’s super simple to use, i.e you can get it straight out the box and plug it in to use and attaches straight onto the tripod easily.
The light is extremely bright and as someone that photographs products a lot, this now gives me the chance to take photos at all hours of the day or night, not waiting for unreliable sunshine or bright days as this illuminates everything perfectly. Great for portrait photography, makeup artists and any kind of photography in light poor situations. I also love a bright room to work in so quite often have it on just on duller days shining into the corner to add a little false sunshine. There are lots of accessories included such as tools which I haven’t needed just yet. You may need to clip the white circle on when it’s delivered as it is removable, but this just pops back on and stays put.
Really happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to other photographers and MUAs that need a little extra light, absolute bargain and a great bit of kit!
This lamp is a lot more than I was expecting, the ring light gives you a much better photographic experience, this versatile light can be used for many different types of situations. Firstly the quality, the stand which is quite important is made from high grade aluminium so its really steady and you can be confident that it will stay where you set it. Next the light, the control over the light is superb, from 1% to 100% which with a little experimentation you can eliminate shadows and highlight different aspects of your pictures. You can even change the colour of the light from a warm to cold light, I definitely think this is worth buying, all you can do with this is improve your family portraits, and for this low price almost become a professional photographer.
This ring light has a control panel at the back for varying levels of brightness and hue etc. It comes with a hard cover light defracter which softens the light and makes it look very natural, great for portraits. It also comes with some attachments such as a the camera screw in the centre of the light. It will hold cameras, and it also comes with a phone holder so that you can secure your phone for photography or filming too. It eradicates the need for a tripod. So far, I have used this to film beauty YouTube videos, take portraits and livestream with my phone. It seems to be very sturdy and will a great replacement for my old ring light which is falling apart. It also comes with a padded carry case for easy transportation. I’m a big fan of this ring light and will be recommended it to all of my photography friends!

Well packaged, and in a sturdy box to prevent breakage in transit. I also appreciated the padded bag for the ring light as it makes it portable without having to go out and buy one.
The light itself is incredible. You don’t want to be staring it in the face at 100%! Something I learned pretty quickly… it has programmable settings for you to easily switch between your favourite light settings.
The adjustable height and angle variations on the ring itself mean that it is incredibly versatile without surrendering stability.
When I got the opportunity to use this light I immediately thought that it would be great to use on a portrait shoot and I am happy to say that I was right. To put it to best use and test it’s full capabilities I decided I would do a portrait party with a handful of people.
Tragedy struck when I accidentally dropped the light when setting it up with parts going flying. I thought it was broken, however I quickly learned how sturdy it was and also that the panels to diffuse the light were easily taken on and off.
While taking the shots I played with the ring lights versatile range of brightness settings as the skin tones I was working with varied quite a lot as did the tone of some of the portraits I was going for. I found that it was super easy to control the light and that it paired well with additional lighting (light saber).
This is now an essential part of my kit for taking portraits in a setting I can control. The only two let downs with this light is that it requires a plug socket (but this is something you would expect with one of it’s size – it’s huge) and that it is difficult to set up the first time if you’ve never done it before, but after that first time it’s like riding a bike…as long as you don’t drop it.
I cannot recommend getting this light enough if you are looking for an affordable and good quality light ring for shooting portraits.
Great Value Ringlight Perfect for Portrait Photography
I’ve used quite a few continuous ringlights for portrait photography and this is by far the best of the lot.
Thanks to the light being an LED, there is no flickering and the intensity is constant. The LED also makes the colour easier to manage with less of a chance of unwanted colour casts. The aperture is large and makes it easy to shoot through it at a variety of angles and positions, making this light very versatile.
The light is bright and at full power I was able to shoot at ISO 400 at around f/8 with manageable shutter speeds. The power output is fully adjustable through the turn of a dial, which makes it easy to adjust for subjects who find it too bright. You are also able to adjust the power in 25% increments at the push of a button which is a nice convenient feature.
The colour of the light is also highly adjustable and goes from very warm and saturated to very cool with a lot of options in between. Whilst I found that the colour temperature listed on the LED didn’t match up for a perfect white balance, this is an easy fix and not really a problem.
The LED display is clear and easy to read with no clutter.
Included with the light are a set of plastic diffusers that, when mounted on the light, create a beautifully soft quality of light that is ideal for portraits.
Because this is a continuous light, you are not limited to using it as a traditional ringlight. Feel free to place it in any position for any lighting pattern that you want and it still produces great results.
I love the fact that this light comes with it’s own carry bag. The light itself is very light and with the bag, it is easily transported. The other included accessories, such as the stand and the mounts, are quite nice as well.
All in all this is an excellent light that packs a lot of punch at this price range.
Overall, a great light for the price. The lights give you great control over how bright they are. You can set it to dim, to super bright, and everything in between.
The temperature can go from a warm orange glow to a bright white light. It’s a good range and your videos and photos can change drastically when you use the light.

I have been wanting a light like this for a while for my videos. It isn’t the ultimate lighting solution (no such thing exists), however if you use as it was intended and sit directly in front of the light, you will get good results.
I have been looking for a ring light to help with vlogging for a little while. This one seemed to tick all the boxes and I have been very impressed. The quality is good and the light itself is feature rich. The inclusion of the stand and the phone holder etc. are great bonuses, making this a perfect all-in-one product for those looking to use it for professional photography or vlogging. The adjustable colour temperature and the variable brightness make it really versatile and I can see myself using it for a variety of different styles of photography and video.

Easy to assemble, good light, would be better if it came with remote control, and could give complete feed back. They say they will send remote but you do not receive it.
Perfect Ring Light For Video Work
I got this ring light to record some videos in my home office. It is perfect for the job.
Packed away the light or stand dont take up much space. Once setup being LED with no soft box it doesn’t take up much of the room either.
The light is fully adjustable to temperature and power output. Giving me lots of options depending on what I was after. It is mains powered, not battery.
The light is perfect for my needs.
