Estoy encantada con esta guitarra, quiz la calidad no sea muy buena, pero era para que mi hija aprendiera que tena muchas ganas de tener una guitarra elctrica y le ha encantado. Y por el precio inmejorable viene muy completa. La funda es de muy mala calidad porque no protege nada, es muy fina, pero bueno al menos trae funda y sirve para transportarla.
Good solid guitar everything you need for a starter kit. Only thing is I had to take it to a shop for better string replacements and one or two other things and a proper set up by a professional but now it sounds great. So if you don’t mind spending a few extra quid when you get it I would recommend.
Bought this instrument for my teenage grandson who is really into heavy rock music. He is now learning to play with a passion, it’s an ideal first guitar.
Guitar and amplifier are really well made and the whole package reasonably priced.

Great guitar. Would recommend getting it set up properly. The amp is ok but the gain channel is really touchy. Over all really happy with it for the money. New and better strings are highly recommended as well

It looks nice, but straight out of the box it was set up so badly that it was almost the worst guitar I have ever played.
Hours of messing with it have made it into something that can be played nicely.
This should have been done at the factory.
Now that it is set up it is a good guitar for the money

Perfect for beginners, and brilliant value for money. Bought for my 12 year old budding guitarist who absolutely loves it. Thankfully the amp doesn’t go as loud as her hero Marty McFly’s does, but gives a decent sound.
Received the Rockjam guiter kit very quickly before prescribed delivery date.
Opened up the kit and found everything in good condition except some of the strings were duplicated on the guitar.
Contacted Rockjam directly who responded to my emial the same day and sent out replacement strings which arrived 2 days later.
Top service from Rockjam and would recommend the company and the guitar.

Arrived swiftly with no damage. All worked and extremely good guitar for a beginner. Exceptional amount of extra items such as the mini amp, case etc can’t fault it for the price.

This is my son’s first electric guitar, as it was reasonably priced and has good reviews I was happy for him to spend his birthday money on it. It is really good quality and great sound, he is really pleased with it.
Just received my new Rock Jam electric guitar. Up to now, I have only ever played an acoustic guitar, which sounds great but you have to be very precise with your finger placement. So I wanted to see if it was right that an electric is easier to play.
These are my first impressions:
Having looked at a number of reviews, I was slightly concerned as to whether I has made the right decision. And I believe I have. The guitar is well finished and looks very good.
Some said that the frets were very rough. But I was impressed that they were nice and smooth.
I then tuned it in using the same app as for my acoustic.
Not difficult and so far it has held its tune.
I was also worried about the amplifier. But it looks like it has been revised because the buttons were on an angled face. There is a slight buzz but not a problem.
You need to get used to balancing the volume and tone on the guitar as well as the 5 way selector and the various dials on the amplifier.
Even at this very early stage, I have to say that I am pretty impressed with the package.
Looks really good and sounds clear as well.
I will update this review after a few more weeks.
And if anyone is in any doubts about this guitar, don’t worry. It really is great value for money.
My daughter loved her birthday present.
We had a slight issue with the amplifier but a raised it with the company on a Friday and on Monday we had a new amp delivered.

Bastante bien empaquetado,. La entrega no ha podido ir mejor. An no se ha probado en profundidad pero creo que es ideal para aprender, muy completo en ese sentido. Yo no le puedo poner pegas. El desembalado ha ido bien. Aunque parece que se empaqueta con prisas a tenor del polvo sobre la superficie de la guitarra. El ajuste y el afinado no ha sido difcil. Por lo dems muy muy contento de momento. Quiz el amplificador emite un sonido de base continuo como un ruido blanco. Trae unas instrucciones simples, cortas y muy tiles. Producto ms que recomendable.
(En la calificacin por estrellas hay una que pone “Sabor”. No s, no me ha dado por chupar la guitarra)
Nota successiva: il lavoro di ottavatura (regolazione delle molle delle sellette per fare in modo da ottenere la nota al 12mo tasto perfettamente accordata all’ottava superiore) mi ha richiesto di bloccare il ponte mobile: l’ottavatura perfetta solo alla massima contrazione delle molle che con la tensione delle corde non si riesce ad ottenere; ho quindi fatto quello che viene consigliato anche per le chitarre blasonate, ho inserito un tacco di legno a bloccare il ponte. ovviamente questo ottenibile sostituendo le molle con molle pi efficienti o mettendone 5 o 4 invece che le solo 3 in dotazione, ma il ponte predisposto per tre molle (occorrerebbe aprire i fori nel metallo, cosa abbastanza semplice, ma non ne avevo voglia). vi racconto tutto questo per fare capire che se la vostra prima elettrica (come normale per il prezzo che cercate) non potete pensare di spendere poco e anche cavarvela da soli senza sapere con cosa avete a che fare. dare indietro non risolve i problemi, i problemi si affrontano e si risolvono (come per le blasonate).
Por el precio que tiene no est mal aunque las pas podran ser de mejor calidad y el amplificador es realmente malo tambin podran incluir unas cuerdas de ms calidad preferira gastar un poco ms pero que por lo menos las pas y las cuerdas sean de mejor calidad . Para empezar esta bien pero si eres un poco ms avanzado o vienes de una guitarra acstica recomiendo comprar algo de mejor calidad como una Yamaha pacifica y un amplificador de mejor calidad
This is a great starter set for somebody younger, or somebody on a budget. You get everything you need to start included in the box, including the amp, multiple picks and strap for the guitar.
The reason I’m giving this 4 stars is, despite the low cost, I was overall unhappy with amp and guitar. I couldn’t add the distortion sounds I wanted with the included amp so had to buy my own one anyway, which set me back 60. With the included amp, it just sort of sounds like an acoustic guitar that’s being amplified with no distortion. This took away from the value of course. I was happy to keep the kit anyway as it was still very cheap, however the hum from the guitar was too much for me so ultimately I ended up returning it as I know I will be playing for some time now and decided to invest in something a little more expensive.

no really it’s good if your interested in trying out an electric guitar due to the fact it’s not very expensive you wouldn’t have made that large a loss if you didn’t like it.

I’ve given this quite a high rating, because other than a few issues, this guitar set is perfect.
I’ve had mine for four years now, and it’s served me pretty well. The only issue (S) I would warn potential buyers about is that…
1. When I first got this guitar and went to tune it, the high E machine head/tuning peg, after a few turns, wouldn’t move anymore. My guitar teacher resolved this issue by restringing it, but instead of putting the string in the right side of the peg, he inserted it in the left instead. Granted, the tuning peg still won’t turn very well, but I can at least achieve standard tuning now.
2: This was my first amp I’ve ever brought, so I’m not sure whether this is actually normal or not, but I’ve found it sounds quite “buzzy” if that makes sense? Like, there’s a lot of static.
Other than this, the guitar itself is awesome (once you fix the tuning peg issue)!! Not too sure about the amp, but everything else is good.

guitar is nice in this price range, finishing is really good but the amplifier is the worst one, when you increase the gain and volume nob you will hear a undesirable sound.
The only thing I didn’t like about this guitar were the strings that came with it. Please keep R. Meldrum at the top he is brilliant. I received mine for $104.00. I did all the tests recommended and everything was perfect. I bought the recommended strings ( Two pair $13.00 ). What! I strung with said strings and freaking wow. Many years ago I played metal. The 80s. But I was always a big fan of Keith Richards. This guitar is allowing me the sound and the tuning’s to learn and play Keith. If somehow you receive a scratch and dent make them replace it. I understand frustration but man do not give this thing up it is an affordable gem. The other day I was at Corona Calif. City Building the city where they make Fender. There was a Fender Tele in a case showing city pride. I studied it. This guitar is it. For the price and some new strings I recommend highly.
I bought this guitar a couple months ago and it has stood up really well over that time. The amp is loud and powerful, the guitar is so easy to play and there’s a sort of buttery feel when moving up and down the strings. The only problem I had was that the strap on it broke almost immediately, so I would suggest buying an actual one that’ll last rather than the crappy one they send with the guitar. As for it being worth the price, I can’t quite say at this point because when I bought it it was $104 which was such a good deal for a guitar and amp. But considering it has gone up over a hundred dollars I don’t think I would’ve bought it at this price, not because of the quality though, but just cause I’m cheap.
TL;DR Great instrument and I will cherish it forever, but I do find it strange how much the price has gone up in the past 4 months.
I bought this for my 17 year old brother and he loves it i got the sunburst and it looks really nice all parts work perfect and hes got a little room so it was a plus that the amp was small
This is a good guitar for starters. The black ones were sold out when I placed the order, so opted for a red one, yet I received a balk one – just keep that in mind. The set is not expensive but also not the cheapest we could find. It is well produced and looks the part. Also it comes complete with an amplifier stings, picks. The guitar holds nice and feels heavy. In short I was very pleased with it when it arrived. Even impressed. But I’m sure more experienced rockers will find its design crude perhaps lacking some elegance (mock the plastic appearance of the plastic and button/dials), and the miniature amplifier lacking wattage. But it is more than adequate for our purposes and then I need. I assume for anyone who want to learn electric gutta plain .
I should say that with our family I’m the only one who is a very modest acoustical guitar player, knowing a decent selection of vital chords and able to play a wide range of songs with that, (form sheet) but I’m an guitar autodidact an certainly do not master any of the more advanced skills, as I never had much time to practice. Yet my wife has been learning to play this guitar as well as did my oldest daughter.
I snapped one of the strings during the initial tuning but this was easily replaced with the included spare set.
Can’t really fault it and would recommend for beginning players and children.
The guitar is great, however everything in the bundle is low/poor quality as expected when you buy a bundle. So if you end up loving your beginners guitar like I do expect to buy the rest of your items SEPARATELY. The amplifier has very little options, your not going to get that rock/metal solo sound if that’s what you are looking for your going to have to get a separate amp. But considering that this guitar is for beginners and not someone who’s going to shred, bend and slide like a rockstar yet, I’ll let it pass. Its perfect for simply learning the instrument and eventually as you get better you can upgrade to a more expensive electric guitar.
It’s definitely not high quality but for the price and what you get it’s a pretty good deal.
Good kit for a beginner like me ,has everything needed to start learning the electric guitar. Included amp only really sounds good on headphones as it is not very powerful but for this price it’s ok. As a beginner’s kit it would have been good to have a tuner included but there are plenty of inexpensive ones around.

This is a really nice guitar. I have been a casual guitarist over the years with serious guitarist friends handing me down their used guitars. This was not only my first electric but also my very first guitar and it does the job pretty well. The whammy bar is a lill tight and amp has this annoying buzz. Will prob pair the guitar with a Katana or a fender to check if it sounds better. But its a great first buy.
Pretty good for a beginner. I recommend getting a tuner with it. Or at least a tuner app. I’ll change my strings once I’m a little better.
Il Kit ha un rapporto qualit prezzo imbattibile. Acquistato come regalo per mio figlio che sta studiando chitarra. Il piccolo amplificatore perfetto per l’allenamento quotidiano in camera, il suono non di quelli che fa gridare al miracolo per regolato bene pu regalare gioie (consiglio di sostituire la spina con una italiana e verificare la messa a terra… ha un fruscio persistente a volte). La chitarra pure fatta benino… per i miei gusti ha un action troppo alto, a breve vedr di modificarlo abbassandolo a dovere (mio figlio riesce ad essere pi preciso con la mia che ha l’action decisamente inferiore). Gli altri accessori a corredo sono cinesate, ma vanno bene…

I received my guitar and amp today. All was as advertised. It seems very nice. The guitar is fully stringed and ready to be tuned. No problem tuning. It has a real nice feel to it, solid and attractive. The strings are at a perfect distance from the fret board for ease of playing and is adjustable if not just right. It came with everything you need to be playing in a few minutes of unpacking setting up and tuning. To tune I use an app on my iphone, but could also use my piano or keyboard. This whole setup is inexpensive but not cheap. It comes with extra strings, picks, chord to plug the guitar into the amp and allen wrenches for adjustment. They even have a set up for two months of free lessons. So far I couldn’t be happier or more impressed. UPDATE: this guitar has become my favorite as it continues to look, feel, and work well.

Moreover, the finish is smooth and shiny without any bumps that cheaper fuitars have.
Now the amplifier is sufficient for a beginner to learn on with distortion and acoustic sounds both possible on it. But I would suggesy buying a better amp once your skills are good enough on this one.

Amazing deal! Especially because I could barely see the scratches, was a lovely thing to buy as I spent my time in a caravan most of the summer with it! Sounded unsure about its self sometimes and no matter how many times or different methods of tuneing I would try the sound would never quite get there, still unsure why, finally being reunited with it after 3 months in a few days! Rock on!! (hopefully)
I’ve recorded with it and you can’t really tell if it’s one of this or a fender or what, specially if you own some good quality pedals.
If YOU are in fact a beginner do some research on YouTube about INTONATION. Change the factory strings because that’s what you do and ALWAYS tune your guitar. ALWAYS!!!!

Having played an acoustic guitar on and off for the last 25 years, I have never tried to play an electric guitar before, but have always wanted to learn.
This is great for a beginner like me – it comes with most things that you would hope for it to include.
Not only do you get the guitar itself, but you also get a little amp, a whammy bar, spare strings, plecturms, a strap and bag.
Now of all of the items included in the kit, the guitar is the best bit, as it well should be. The amp is a little bit lightweight, which is no real surprise when you realise that it is just 10 watts, but actually for learning and practising in your own home – this isn’t as important and when you are ready, you may well want to upgrade your amp and possibly your guitar!
The guitar itself looks good, isn’t too heavy, is pretty easy to play (once you get the hang of it) and it easy enough to tune. If the guitar is the star, what lets it down? The strap and the bag are horrible – I would suggest changing these straight away.

The guitar is a full sized Fender copy. I have handled and played a genuine Fender and this is significantly lighter than the real thing (which is no bad thing for a beginner). The finish is not of the highest quality and the gloss is a little scratched in places but the wood neck is genuine and it tunes up very nicely. Surprisingly, the guitar does hold its tune well. It has three pickups and 2 tone and a volume knob which work well to alter the quality of the sound. The guitar gives a very tinny sound through the supplied amp but through a larger guitar amp, does not sound bad at all. It is easy to pick and the action, although a little high for an electric, is really not too bad at all and does not rip up your fingers when playing.
It comes with a small amp. I initially thought that this was going to be delivered separately as I could not work out how it could possibly fit into the box. It was in there though – it is very slim with a single input. Although only 10 amps, it is certainly loud enough for practice and although the sound quality is not great, it does the job. Not for concert use obviously but great for starters and with volume and tone controls, you can’t go wrong.
The kit also comes with spare strings which is a good job as my thinnest string snapped when I started to tune the guitar. It was easy to replace and tuned perfectly. It also comes with picks, a cheap strap and a very cheap guitar bag with the Rockjam brand emblazened on it. The lead for connecting to the amp supplied is a little too short but they are very cheap on Amazon to buy.
The kit does not come with a stand which is a shame as you really do nee done. There is a great Rockjam guitar stand for under a tenner which does the job.
So, all in, this is a great started kit. Stylish and really good for kids who are dabbling in guitar. You get the whole kit without having to buy expensive separates.
I would thoroughly recommend this kid for starters. A serious guitarist would have to get something a little more serious in time but as an introduction without costing the earth, this is ideal!
