This kettle gives a great drink, easy to fill and boils quickly
Good product! Scum free tea at last in our hard water area. Only drawback is filter water capacity. Needs 2-3 fills to boil enough for 2 good mugs of tea. Would say though that most filter kettles seem simila

Really nice kettle, no metallic or plastic taint. No limescale buildup, or very little, making it easy to clean. Can take time for water to filter through, ~2 minutes perhaps.
It is heavy, bear that in mind.

Nice shape. Bit Pricey. Blue light is a nice feature. It’s part of what you pay for. What a shame that part of the function doesn’t always work as it should. Faulty within days. Very intermittent. Boiling kettle works just fine, (without the light). Buyer beware….
Such clean tea and coffee! Very quality item. The people who say this wobbles are probably the ones who haven’t placed the cord through the hole at the back. Seriously , those people are out there!! It’s steady as a rock

Iv bought 3 consecutively, the glass makes for easy cleaning and along with brita filters there’s no bad taste left behind! You won’t beat this kettle!
Easy to fill. I wish it could hold more water but then the kettle would be too heavy. Water filters through quickly and does not take long to boil

Filtered boiled water tastes crisp and fresh and makes a huge difference to the quality of my tea.
Don’t really notice whether it’s loud or not as I use it in my utility room

Wanted to give three stars initially for receiving an item that previously was open. Also for minor design issues, such as kettle always stays condensed and top part nipping on the skin.
But it is sooooo quick to boil the water (under a minute for two cups) and its much quiter than any other kettles I came across.
I am not using the filter part so removed the whole shebang.
So overall I have closed my eyes on the issues I have with it and totally happy with my purchase as it saves me so much time. If it will last us three years (which is a lot to ask in our house) I will definitely repurchase again (if still available).
I love the look, the LED light feature and the speed of which it brings water to the boil.
The water purifying element makes sense, but I am not sure about the meter on the top to tell you about replacing the filter?
You reset this meter on replacement, but is it actually measuring the number of times you filter water? Or just a period in time?
At the current rate after the first month, I am apparently looking to replace the filter in less than a week, meaning it will have lasted exactly a month.
I will be monitoring the usage and the filter to see if it is affected by less and more usage week by week.

Can massively taste the difference between this and my old kettle. For taste alone it’s worth it IMO
I purchased this kettle to replace a previous model & have not been disappointed. It looks great in my new kitchen, although it’s glass it’s not heavy and filters the water so you have a lovely cup of tea or coffee. I would highly recommend.
awesome kettle from a well known household name. takes a while to filter the water through but your kettle stays cleaner and the purity of the water going into your tea especially is lovely and crisp. gives a better flavour to your beverages.
I love this. Living in a hard water area this really helps with limescale. I hadn’t noticed due to have a stainless steel kettle how murky the water was. Limescale would build up thick and fast whereas this genuinely lasts just under a month before I start seeing limescale in the kettle and even then it’s so thin it wipes away easily when I change the filter.
Also is great to use for normal drinking water to jug and fridge seen as I was so disgusted at what actually comes out the tap!
On top of the great functionality of the kettle it really is pretty to look at!
Love the design, having the filter is perfect as live in a hard water area and makes tea and coffee taste much better. Works well and looks good. Because it’s clear glass you get to see a bit of condensation after boiling on the inside, not sure if that would bother you. Quick wipe downs on the outside and has kept it looking shiny and new so far. I’m quite petite but the large handle is easy to grip for all hand sizes and have no problems picking it up or using it.
Love this new kettle from Russell Hobbs. The styling is beautiful and it makes a really good cup of tea. It looks stunning as it’s boiling the water and is very quick. I would highly recommend this kettle.
This kettle looks great but more importantly it filters the water before boiling and the tea tastes great. It lights up and boils quickly. Very pleased.

You get 1 filter included. The replacement filters can vary dramatically in price. Better to bulk buy. I bought box 6 for 20 online Brita filters. I saw the same in a cheap supermarket for 30!

This kettle looks great, love that you can see the water bubbling away.
It’s fairly quiet which was a big priority of mine.
Yes a little slower to fill as you have to allow for 2 cups worth to pass through the filter before you can top up again, but really only takes a matter of seconds. I also think this helps remind me to not overfill the kettle unnecessarily. I usually only make 1 or 2 cups at a time anyway.
No funny taste even from the first boil, and I’m sure the filter makes the tea taste cleaner.
I’ve only had it a few days bit very happy so far.
Love this kettle had one before there is nothing i don’t like it. It filters faster than my old one boils fast i also like the blue light as it boils

Without doubt Tea, Coffee and Water taste better and no more bits of limescale floating around in the water as it boils. I have used this Filter Kettle 6 or 7 times a day for the past eight weeks and only descaled it today because of a very slight film of scale, where as with my old non Filter Kettle I would have to descale it once a week to remove a significant amount of scale.
This is a perfect replacement for our old kettle and it looks good too!!
Easy to clean. Looks smart with blue light around base. Not keen on the filter device with it as it is a nuisance and needs to be replaced, an additional expense so we have removed the filter contractio
Just love the clarity of the tea that the Brita filter kettles give.
Generally, very good for the price. Brita filter does the job as always, although you do get a very gradual build up of limescale on the base over the course of a month.
The only negative is that the filter reservoir is a bit small – you need to fill it once and then add a little more to get two mugs-worth in there. A bigger reservoir would have seen five stars, but it does the job.
It’s a kettle, but it is glass so is supposedly “very healthy” – but then they put in a plastic container for the Britax water softener! I have removed mine. I also think it’s quite noisy but it works fast which is the main criteria
Water in tea tastes totally different, it tastes really clean. Heats quickly, looks nice, and easy to clean!
This is the second of these kettles we’ve had. The previous lasted two years but we found a crack in the glass so had to replace.
Clean taste, the filters need changing once a month so can get costly if your not prepared for it.
Quality is good.
I actually bought this to replace my old one as the lid was broken but I had had it for quite a few years. It’s a nice kettle but takes two fills into the 1st compartment to fill the actual kettle.
Replaced after 2 years use.best kettle Iv ever had excelent product.
Needed a kettle as boiling water tap wasn’t good for making tea. This was a really good kettle. Tastes better now.

Having moved away from a filter kettle, it wasn’t long before we regretted the decision, due to limescale. This kettle is of great quality and the glass is excellent both in looks and function. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase and will never use a non filtered kettle again.

Great kettle. Really like the design and it’s been reliable now for many months. The only issue is that the Brita cartridge pops out of the hopper occasionally when you pour the water out. Maybe once a week. The cartridge doesn’t ‘click’ into place, it just sort of sits in the bottom of the hopper.
Amazing! We have such hard water and being home more I was getting so fed up with rubbish cups of tea tasting of metal and scum floating about the top so licked this kettle up on a lightening deal and I’m so impressed! Makes such a difference to our drinks! My husband was moaning that it takes a min or so for the water to fill up the kettle but he’s happy with the outcome now with fresh tasting tea and that’s how a filter works… 🙂
