What I needed
This fridge is a great appliance and it’s sold at a very reasonable price, especially with Amazon installment payment making it even more attractive. The motor is more or less noiseless and the temperature can be adjusted quickly.

I am so pleased with this fridge, it’s big enough and has an excellent salad drawer. Changing the opening over is a bit tricky but it can be done. I would recommend this product and I would buy again through Amazon. Amazing service.

A good fridge but back wall is icy.
Perfect size and good arrangement of shelves. Back wall always has water or ice drops on it. If I wipe them off they come back. I keep the fridge at about 6 as I use a medicine which has to kept between 2 and 8. Outer sides get quite warm. Yes it’s manoeuvrable but I rarely move a fridge!

Typical upright fridge,door shelves too shallow everything falls out .
This product leaks bucketloads after less than a month.
Cheap and not very nice. Leaks like a sinking ship. The shelves in the door are too low to contain taller items safely.

The size and depth are good and the top to bottom shelving on the door is great but the surrounds are too shallow so taller things fall off. Despite lowering the temperature food stuffs that touch the back wall sometimes freeze with an ice build up. .

Although it looks a great fridge 3 things bothered me 1. The door could not be changed from right hand hinge opening to left hand , no matter what I did the door kept binding and would not shut ( & trust me I know how to alter these types of doors)
2. It’s so lightweight that when you open the door the whole fridge moves both when empty & full
3. Even after numerous attempts to try & get the fridge even & stable on the floor it’s still “bounced” like it had suspension ?? Very frustrating !!

Russell hobbs larder fridge
This larder fridge is fantastic, having a small under counter one for so long & now I have this, there is so much space, it’s perfect!
Great fridge interior is a good size takes a while to get the temperature right after putting it on fast chill which is max setting. But if you turn it down to 2 lines under medium setting you will get a temperature between 3-4 degrees which is ideal.
Fridge does not take up space, plenty of shelves on door salad draw is a good size.

Very pleased on the whole
Overall, we’re delighted with this fridge. Our only problem was trying to reverse the door hinges for easier opening (one screw was so tightly fixed we gave up in the end). Other than that, the fridge is great – the shelving, storage space and temperature control just right.
(The delivery guy was very helpful and friendly – wish we’d booked help with set-up!)

I am very pleased with it but it is rather loud when the ‘fan’ comes on.
The delivery was excellent, the two men who delivered it could not be helpful enough, they unwrapped the freezer, sat it exactly where I wanted it, even adjusting the hight levels till they were satisfied how evenly it stood, The door handle had to be put on and they even did this! excellent, all this and a great attitude too.

It was easy to arrange a time slot and it arrived bang on time with the delivery man offering advice on when to switch on, unwrapping it and taking all rubbish with him. The fridge is really efficient unlike our old ones so we didn’t have to turn it on as high otherwise you get ice at the back- just adjust the temperature setting though! Really pleased overall

The fridge is fine plenty of room and quiet ,no problems with it .However the delivery was a saga ,the first fridge had been dropped at some point and was damaged. Reordered via the help line, 2nd fridge did not arrive , we were told that someone had forgotten to put it on the lorry!! Finally a 3rd working fridge arrived, not the sort of service I expected The 4 stars above are for the fridge , the service from the electric shop deserves 1 star .

Slim and very very quiet. Took me a while to get it level – but that could have been my floor. Lots of room for all chilled items, and easy to see everything.
Very spacious fridge, Good value for money. My only complaint is that the internal light was supposed to be a low energy LED. It is not. It is a pygmy 10W mains bulb that gets the plastic nice and warm around it if you have the door open for more than a minute or so while stacking shopping. In this day and age it should be an LED and that is what the manual says it should be.

It looks good, works well, and only for a couple of niggles it would have been given 5 stars. I tried to change the door over to open from the right and it proved to be an absolute nightmare. I phoned the help desk who said they had one in the office and would take a look at it. The lady on the phone said the plastic covers should just click off, I was worried that I might break it with pressure but she told me it should be fine. It broke. When I looked at the clip after it came off I could see that there wasn’t any way it was coming off without it breaking first. I explained what had happened. She went away – came back and said that there appeared to be a design fault which would be reported to the manufacturer. She kindly sent me two new clips to replace the damaged ones.
The other problem is the door shelves aren’t adjustable and the top two aren’t deep enough. In the first week my mayonnaise and several other items flew off the shelves when the door was opened. I had two other fridges which I had to put the taller items in. The bottom shelf holds milk fine but not bottles of lemonade etc. because they are taller. So I have to put these in different fridges, which is fine for me as I have the option but if it was my only fridge I wouldn’t be very happy with the restriction.

The order went through fine. It was delivered on the correct day and left where requested. Good size as a larder fridge. Not sure why only 4 shelves are supplied. It leaves a large space in the fridge which isn’t used to maximum capacity. Bought a box which fitted so that was okay. Did contact Russell Hobbs and I could have ordered another glass shelf if needed. Took sideways to get the temperature settled. Had to get a fridge thermometer. Ice was forming on the back wall inside the fridge. Seems okay now. Think it will do what is required.

I purchased the russell hobbs freestanding fridge by mistake.i have since been refunded the price and reordered the freedtanding freezer.
The staff have been so good to me throughout my mistaken order.emailing at every stage.They have been excellent.i look forward to writing a review when i receive my freezer.thankyou to all involved.

Have had it for two years now and all is well. The first one was damaged during delivery but was replaced quickly.
Brilliant plenty of space, looks brilliant along side the freezer. Would definitely recommend to others one of the best I have had.
There was a fault with the 1st fridge but a replacement was dealt with very efficiently. The second one was perfect.
