About your Russell Hobbs microwaveMicrowave ovens do not generate any heat themselves but instead cause water molecules in food to vibrate. This vibration produces heat that cooks the food. This is why your food will come out of the microwave piping hot, when your utensils inside the microwave stay much cooler. Microwaves cannot go through metal, so the inside of the appliance is lined with metal. The door is lined with a fine metal mesh which stops microwaves getting through. Cleaning: Avoid using scouring pads, steel wool or other abrasives. Foods containing alcohol – Foods with an alcohol content must not be cooked in a microwave as they could ignite. The colour was just what I wanted, and the free dishes were a bonus. The omlette dish is great, only big enough for a small one but that’s fine for me.
Neat little maroon unit, the colour we wanted. Appears well made. My wife likes the analogue knobs but I prefer the accuracy of our old digital oven. Having said that, it’s easy to use, you just have to stand over it if you want a cooking time of less than a minute as that is hard to set accurately.
This was give as a present l have a Russel Hobbs this was chosen as it not complicated and retains good quality and smart looking l would buy this again as a present excellent price
simple to use and does what it needs to. does seem a bit pricey for this feature point though.. and had my wife not insisted on red I probably would have got a cheaper version in a white/black/silve
Simply select the power level with one, and the time with the other.
Much quieter than my previous one. The only downside is that I find the light display isn’t very bright when cooking.
However , overall I must say am very pleased with this product.
A basic model but does what I need it to do, which is warm things up. Can be a bit slow and was going to return it for this but decided to keep it as it’s easy for the kids to use. Looks nice too.

Bought this to replace a fancy (large) combo microwave grill – which was far too complicated for what we wanted. This one looks great, uses far less energy as there is no display and no internal light and perfect size and power for what we want, which is heating up meals, milk, beans etc.

If you need to warm up something for less than a minute you need to put it to 2 minutes and then stop it yourself according to instructions

It is a very good looking microwave. Functions as it should, maybe I would have chosen the digital version instead of the wheel because for 2 minutes or less can be innacurate. Apart from that all good

Easy to use but I think a bit pricey when I’ve checked other shops
1. There are no seconds on the dial, so have to guess when it’s ready if in, say, for 3 1/2 mins.
2. No light when it’s operating.
3. There is no clock
Too basic a machine for me, but too late to return it. However, it will be fine for some people’s needs.
Russell hubs is a good appliance brand, a recommend any time
…then you might as well buy one of these.
Admittingly I don’t use it on a daily basis, probably a couple of times per week. However it does the job in defrosting and cooking food and (as yet) I’ve had no problems with it.
It looks nice as well, quite retro in design. I’d recommend one of these if you haven’t got much cash to spend.
Great small microwave, it’ takes a little time to get used to because of the. Lower voltage but is ideal for small spaces
This is a great microwave and definitely value for money. My only dislike is that there is no light inside.. but it’s not the end of the world lol
Russell Hobbs is a good brand name. Tough and Reliable.
Regularly clean with a jug of water and a dash of vinegar, allow to steam for two/three minutes, then wipe with a paper towel. This keeps the appliance in tip-top condition, and it’s more hygienic!

O like the look of microwave however the functionality not so much. Its a simple microwave and i would give it a 5 but if you want to warm something up for a minute you first need to turn it onto 2 and then back to one minute.
I love the simplicity of the settings, is very compact though, a normal sized dinner plate just about fits inside.
It looks just like the photo and happy with how it works!!! Good value for money and quality of make. I would recommend this to friends or family who are looking for a new one. Think 5 stars is worth it!!!!

Find it ok though not as powerful as our old one. The beauty of the Digital Microwave is they’re much more controllable than this type. But my wife wanted a more simpler model. Hence buying this one.
