Happy purchase....
Really pleased with this iron – just what I was looking for. Lightweight, easy to use and as a personal preference it has a stainless steel soleplate. I am not a fan of the ceramic soleplate but that might just be ‘age’ related!!! Excellent price too so one happy bunny.
A excellent iron for the price
I alway buy Russell Hobbs iron’s as they are good quality for the price. When my last iron packed up after many years of use, I found this iron on Amazon “Best Buys”. It was delivered very quickly and I am thrilled with it. It is quite light but that’s good for me as I have arthritis in my hands. It has a good steam function so I go through my ironing quite quickly. For the price I would recommend this iron.
Good quality, does the job
Does the job well, takes time to heat up and is heats enough to press clothes, wouldn’t recommend for heavy material as doesn’t heat up too much but is a pretty good iron still.
Nice replaceme
I like that it holds a lot of water. There is a Dail that you can set to the amount of steam you want which is great .I didn’t think it had a light to show you it was on but it does ,its on the inside of the handle not on the top like my previous iron . Good iron for the money
Great for the price
This review is for the Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Traditional Iron 23060, 2400 W, Purple/White.
Arrived super fast with prime same day delivery. Was easy to unpack and use. Provide lots of heat and steam to make ironing really quick and easy.
Is well made product that heats up fast. Would defo recommend for 15 pounds!!
Excellent Iro
Love the lightweight aspect of this Iron, a cheap but excellent Iron.
Fine
Does what it says. A good looking basic iron which suits my purpose completely. I did find putting on the correct heat setting slightly vague but I could not be bothered to read the instructions so my fault! Certainly would recommend it.
a WOW purchase
Couldn’t believe the price of this brand name iron. As I’m left handed I wanted a a cord from the top. I am a sewer but don’t mind the iron being a little larger than my previous “craft” iron. Good finish. Overall a great for value iron. Recommended
Very Ligh
This is a decent Iron but it is very light compared to our trusty old Morphy Richards Iron which gave up being trusty and more broken. The cord is a good length and the settings are basic and simple. Will take a bit of getting used to with the lack of weight and feeling of sturdiness, but it certainly does a good job.
Very good.
It was ok. Takes a while to heat up. But very nice iron. thanks
Simple, great quality iro
This is a no frills, lightweight steam iron. Perfect for people like me that just need to press shirts and T-shirts. The steam function is surprisingly good for a basic iron. It also has a water sprayer to help flatten wrinkles. The water tank is more than adequate to handle a dozen items or more.
Very pleased with this. Would certainly recommend to others.
Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Traditional Iro
Bought this for my daughter. I’ve had no bad reviews from her so it must be OK and serving the purpose.
Good value Iro
Good value Iron by Russel Hobbs.
I bought a few of these.
– Water droplets are not part of the design.
I just want to point out that there were water droplets inside the water compartment. At first, I thought those were part of the design but after I turned the iron on, they evaporated (as shown in the image). The irons may be tested before packed. So, don’t be confused.
So far so good!
Had it about a month and it does what its supposed, decent iron at a decent price!
Lightweight iro
This is my first Russell Hobbs iron. My tefal iron lasted more than 10 years but I thought I’d try Russell Hobbs after recently purchasing a kettle. It’s so much lighter than my tefal iron which is a delight. I need to put the temperature dial higher than my tefal iron to get the equivalent temperature but it works fine. Enjoying my new iron.
Adequate
The Iron was fine, no frills it got the job done.
Glides across clothes
Had several cheap irons in the past, usually with ceramic sole plates, this one has a stainless plate which seems to runs more smoothly. Many good features for price, would recommend.
Up the Irons
Amazing album! Senjutsu is clearly their masterpiece.
Can’t be more satisfied, I love Nicko’s drums and of course all of them are incredible. Such a great job.
Up the irons!
(This Iron is good, however the water tank is too small)
Good value
Have only used once but is perfectly adequate for the job, lightweight and easy to store. When you factor in the price it is excellent value for money.
Really good iron.
Great iron. Unlike the last one that I had. My wife bought a supermarket brand which leaked water every time I used it. This iron is great as it has lots of steam as well as being light weight. The only fault that I had with it was. The cord is just that little bit short. If your socket is a bit far away, then you need to move everything over. Other than that. The iron is excellent.
Brilliant iron for the price
This iron was bought to temporary replace my more expensive robust iron but I’ll be keeping this, this does everything my other one did at a fraction of the price and it is the perfect weight not too heavy just perfect for my arthritic hands
Lightweight Steam Iron with stainless steel plate
Nice and light easy to use . Simple dial and press button for continuous steam. separate button for water spray. Nice point on this iron that is slimmer than the usual size which is wider. Therefore, easier to iron corners, around button holes or awkward pleating in shirts or skirts. Nice aqua blue colour. There is water residue inside the water containment area, but this indicates the iron has been tested. Quick delivery. No excess outer wrapping just simple address label. Extremely pleased, and recommended.
Good value for the price
Good value for the price, very lightweigh.
Only downside is that the cord seems very short but not a major issue.
I also found that I need to use the steam and settings on full to get a starch crisp ironed shirt.
Really good for the price though and next day delivery very handy.
Cheap iron that is mostly effective
The steam function isn’t as good as I would like, but overall a good iron. For stubborn creases, you have to go over the same area many times.
Easy for a novice like me
I am not someone who does a lot of ironing, however when I do need the odd shirt to be ironed this does it great. All necessary temperature settings are there, steam and water spray functions too. Comfortable to use and lightweight.
Bargain Price!
I don’t like ironing at all but after buying this iron as my previous one blew up I can safely say ironing is alright! So easy to use and gets the job done quickly. Super light weight so I don’t have a dead hand afterwards. The shape is great so I can iron shirts around the buttons with no frustration anymore and for 15 this is seriously good, highly recommend
Irons out all the problems!
Purchased for Daughter and she is very pleased with it. Said good temp change, easy keep clean, and light to use. Perfect for her needs.
Probably better to pay more for a better one.
This iron is ok. I found it a bit clunky. Wouldn’t buy it again. Prefer something smoother and lighter.
Simple and does the job
Bought this for my elderly mother. It’s light in weight and simple to use, just what she needed. Water capacity is decent. Job wise it does just what it intends to do, iron! The steam option works well and generates a decent amount of steam which can be generated within very short intervals.
Nice and lightweigh
although the iron is as described, easy to use, it has taken some time to get the steam setting right. If you stand it upright between ironing movements, it takes a few seconds to steam up again,, but it stays steaming if you are prepared to leave it face down on the ironing board as you move items
OK iro
This is a decent iron for the price. Does what a iron should do. The only problem is it’s unfortunately very difficult to see the water level as the plastic is a dark purple.
Value for money
Light weight, delivered fast.
Point on the top plate great for shirts Inbetween buttons
Does what it says on the tin!
Bought this iron rather it’s more expensive counterparts as we don’t do so much ironing anymore. Glad I did! Works really well on men’s shirts and cotton dresses. No messing about. Lightweight, good cord length, steam function , easy to use. Have had expensive irons in the past, but this one does the job equally as well.
Highly satisfied
Brilliant value. Why pay more when this iron is perfect for me. I have an average amount of ironing and don’t use it every day. But I find it excellent. It is easy to use, very effective and glides through the clothes etc. I am delighted. Would recommend.
Good solid every day Iro
It does what it says in the tin, nothing special, no bells and whistles but perfectly good. To be honest our iron broke and we just needed a quick inexpensive replacement. Most modern materials don’t require a lot of ironing so we don’t use the iron that much so this does the job nicely.
Crisp
So I get this iron as its cheap. Iron my white Kangil and and I bounce to the pub. Oh my days as soon as I walk in everyone saying how crisp my shirt looks …. yes bruva
Praise be!
Its an Iron! So far what little ironing I have been forced at gun point to do it has been able to cope with; unlike me. It’s small lightweight frame glisten. As my bulk cries and the mer thought of touching it. It easy to switch on and press the clothes. I just rather do other things. If the iron could wash, dry, iron put away and make me a size 10 I’d pay way more. As it is just an Iron and nothing more than an extension of this housework fairies tools. It is what it is and does whatbits ment to do at a good price and quick delivery.
Hope it’s not used.
The iron looks nice and is light too but it came as a surprise to see that there was water drops inside the container already as I opened it up. Felt like it was a used product, but the plates look nice and clean never used so I wonder how did the water get in there ??
Highly recommend
Really don’t see the point of spending loads of money on an iron! I was fortunate and purchased this for under 20.00.
If I must make any criticism it is quite difficult to see water level in the tank.
Great product for its price poi
Our iron recently blew up after 3 or so years and I found myself looking at irons up to 50 on amazon. However after reading reviews, it became clear that all irons have a life span of 3-5 years and you’re lucky if they last longer than that. It seems that no matter what the price is, this is inevitable. So I went for the cheapest option and I am not disappointed.
It’s a simple design, nothing fancy, three temp settings essentially. But it can get creases out of linens and can iron silks, the steam works well and its lightweight. If it lasts even just 1+ year, I’d be over the moon with it still.
Cord isn’t amazingly long, but it seems standard. I’ve always had an extension cable handy anyway so this doesn’t matter to me.
Easy to use, gives a good finish to your ironing.
I am very pleased with my new purchase, light and easy to use, but it does go through a lot of bottled
water, so keep stocked when you go shopping at the supermarket, just over a 1.00 a bottle, does a nice job though. Would I recommend it yes I would.
Petite, light weigh
Love this. Took a wee while to canna understand this, for my father ironing. But it is so light and feel safe
Lovin this this so fa
Easy to use
Lightweight but easy use with my arthritic hands, hole for filling a bit awkward better if lid could open a little more but don’t think possible due to iron shape, length of cord just right for me. Good quality product and value for money
Great value for money
Really happy with this Iron its light weight and easy to use. I returned the original one I purchased as it was far to heavy and cost twice as much and exchanged it for this one. The base is really smooth and glides easily. I only use it for light ironing and it does the job perfectly.
Very nice iro
I wanted an iron but I didn’t want to spend much. This is fab. The cord length is ok but who doesn’t want a bit more? And it has taken me a while to suss out which bit allows for steam ironing but I didn’t refer to the booklet so there you go. Also, I had done my ironing twice before I realised and had to pour the water out of the channel.
VALUE FOR MONEY
Nice Iron, glides smoothly and tackles creases with ease. Personally prefer stainless steel hotplate to ceramic or non stick as they invariably become scuffed/hard to clean and leave gummy residue. The hotplate shape is perfect for reaching awkward corners and the iron is a perfect weight, not too light, not too heavy.
Only gave four stars for two reasons, the coloured water tank makes it hard to see water levels and the power dial markings are almost indistinct. Other than that it’s a bargai
Light and brigh
Very good lightweight iron. Cord a good length. Because of the colour you can’t see the water level clearly but is not really a problem..it’s a good iron at a good price, would recommend it..
Light even when filled with wate
Bought this iron because of wrist problems that meant my top end steam iron when full of water caused me too much discomfort to use. This model is very light and efficient . Small reservoir so needs refilling more often if using steam a lot during ironing. Could benefit from a longer cord but it is generally a good value product and if you want a lighter iron that doesn’t compromise on performance then give this model a try .
Great Bargai
At 15 this is a bargain. I find it easy to use and its fine for what I iron.
I find I do need the max setting and it might struggle with very heavy material crease,
How long it lasts is a another matter but at this price, great.
Press ahead
Don’t iron very often but this does me just fine, seems pretty powerful and not too cumbersome to use at all. Good steam and heats up very quickly for that last minute shirt.
Only niggle why do all iron cable start to curl up?
Excellent value for money
This iron really is really good value for money performing as well as many much more expensive ones. The only criticism I have is that it’s very easy to move the temperature dial with your knuckles when ironing. It could do with being made stiffer to turn.
Great value
Do not do much ironing and did not need an iron with “bells and whistles”. This one was well reviewed and a good price, two months in really pleased with it. Does the job and easy to use – cannot say more!
I bought this for my wife on her 40th as her birthday present , I thought it was a nice Gesture of my love and appreciation of her over the 15 years we had been married and for long as I can remember she always complained about warming up the iron on the stove. I spend 2 days in hospital after the iron it me around the head and I missed the party, oh we’ll accidents happen.
Works really well! Wish it was hotter!
Works well with the steam and spray options. Only issue is that ironing takes longer as it doesn’t get as hot as more premium irons.
Good sized water reservoir and plenty of material options.
Great CHEAP iro
This was an excellent purchase personally. It is a great, inexpensive iron that does exactly and more than I had expected. It heats up quickly and has additional steam and water sprayer. The only problem is that the cord is shorter than I had expected so I need to ensure there’s a plug nearby. I chose the purple and it a lovely colour but they had other colours too. Bought this for university and it does exactly as needed, would recommend to others needing a cheap iron.
Brilliant iron and great value for money
Used this practically daily since I purchased it over a year ago and it still feels brand new. Fantastic value for money. Lightweight and the cord is long enough that it doesn’t get in the way. Sometimes struggles with tough creases but fine for shirts etc.
Good Iron and easy to use
This product especially satisfies the less demanding. Used for ironing shirts and T-shirts. The wire is long enough and heats up quickly. Its small flaw lies in the power and precision of stretching, which could be improved by updating the base with a more ergonomic structure. It does not cut or burn, the jet of steam is satisfactory. Easy to use; definitely a good product from Russell Hobbs. The weight is slightly above expectations but does not prevent its easy use. Good produc
Steam iro
A steam iron is not an item about which I can rave. This one, which is a later example of one I’ve used for some years seems to work alright and will hopefully last as long as it’s predecessor. My only complaint, which I suspect would apply to any iron , is that it doesn’t do the job on it’s own.
Value for money
Received this yesterday as my old iron had stopped steaming. As soon as this was delivered i tried it out and wasnt disappointed. Feels comfortable in hand a good amount of steam, Easy to use, Got the creases out of thick polo shirts and jeans no problem at all. Long may it las
Good value and well made
Lightweight easy to use, good steam. Only criticism is the tiny water jug that comes with it which is daft for the size of the water tank in the iron. Just use a kitchen jug instead (I had kept the much bigger jug from previous broken iron).
Steam away... 💧♻️
A great lightweight item ~ this is my second purchase for my holiday home.
Price is incredibly low
Delivery via Prime service was fast
Delivers on performance too, fast to warm through. Steam performance is consiste
After buying an expensive iron which have lots of issues I turned back to Russell and hobbs the reliable brand which makes good irons and I haven’t been disappointed. Doesn’t leak gives good steam and no issues. Only thing I would say though is that if you live in an area of hard water, buying deionised water for the iron is a must to prevent damage to it and ensure it lasts. I’ve had multiple issues in the past where the hard water in my area has destroyed the irons I’ve had.
Cheap iro
Having read lots of reviews of different irons I opted for this cheap one. It’s OK but not as good as my previous iron which was a Breville one but I couldn’t find the same one online again. We’ll see how long it lasts. So far OK.
Basic, inexpensive iro
It’s an iron, and it irons. It’s getting used for working family ironing baskets almost every day.
Lightweight. Filling the water tank is a bit easier than some I’ve had, as it doesn’t seem to get “airlocks” as often which prevent water flowing into filler hole.
Big plus is the stainless steel sole plate. Aluminium ones seem to loose their slickness after a while.
Steaming feature, good iro
I bought this one in purple color. It’s a decent iron which did a good job ironing out the wrinkles out of one of my cotton pants which get quite wrinkled. I really like the steam feature which basically gives off steam to assist in ironing out stubborn wrinkles. I hope it lasts, this is a good iron so far.
Russell Hobbs iro
My old iron stopped making steam so I replaced it with this Supreme Steam Traditional Iron. I don’t do a lot of ironing and I’m generally easy to please – it just has to heat as hot as I want it, and make steam when I want it to. This seems to fit the bill.
Like i
The product is definitely value for money.
I have been using it for more than a year now and I have never faced issues call. The chord length is also decent.
Simply add water for Steam Press.
When ironing t-shirts the results are good but Far Cotton shirts or trousers or denims the results are not so it then requires much time and efforts maybe because it’s lightweigh
easy to use and lightweigh
very happy with this iron. easy to use love the chrome shiny plate much better than the non stick. I use an extension lead anyway. I also bought an iron with a longer cable to try before this one and found that to add to the drag weight when using the iron and so went back to this one and love it.
Great value. Super lightweight. Does exactly what it says on the ‘tin’.
Some ironing perfectionists may disagree…. needs more steam? Or, weight? …but I HATE IRONING … so lets be clear, for me this little ironing device gets the job I hate the most done without breaking the bank – more cash for the important things in life … like wine or holidays
Great iron, great price, no complaints here
Don’t regret purchasing this iron one bit! It’s as good as its much more expensive predecessor, can’t understand some of the reviews that say it’s difficult to use, dial confusing, leaks etc. It’s sooo easy to use, heats up quickly, doesnt leak even on full steam, good cable length, good water capacity. I have no complaints whatsoever, does the job as well if not better than any other iron I’ve had, and I’ve had quite a few! Absolute bargain, would recommend! In fact I may buy another for my daughter.
Great produc
Really impressed, especially considering how cheap it was. Very lightweight, but powerful. Gets the creases out in seconds. I often just use my iron on steam, without an ironing board to get creases out of lightweight items such as blouses, when in a rush. This is much better than my previous much more expensive iron. Highly recommend
Excellent value for money and quality product.
Much better than I had hoped for given the very reasonable price. My only small gripe is that the cord is roughly a foot shorter than my opinion. Not a big issue but would be perfect if it was just that touch longer.
Wow
My iron packed in just as I was ironing on name labels for my child’s school uniform, this was less than ideal.
I was amazed to see a branded iron for such a great price and it has exceeded expectations, nice size reservoir for ironing water, a decent amount of steam, irons creases out effectively and is gloriously light and glides over clothes.
The only downsides are a sigh rly short lead and no clip to secure the wound up lead like my old iron had.
My old sewing iron gave up the ghost and I can’t do my work without an iron so amazon saves the day. I went back and forth over which one, settled on this. Love it, heats up very hot and the steam (auto/manual) settings are great. I like I can have steam at a lower temperature than usual with this for thinner fabrics. I also love that it has such a huge water tank compared to my old one. The lid shuts down to stop any leaks which was always happening before. It’s pretty light weight for the size it is. The cord length is great, not short at all. It’s a great iron that works really well!
Use the right amount of water!!
I had to replace my other iron. This is fairly lightweight which is good as I have arthritis in my hands. After reading the instructions through it seemed quite simple to use. I found that as long as you keep to the 1 jug at a time of water then you don’t get any leakage over your clothes. Right choice for me.
Smooth as a baby's 😉
Very hairy purchased this iron, was little sceptical as cheap ! No need for panic as does everything needed, recently ironed couple white shirts,no creases and with minimal fuss. Would definitely recommend this product, pointless spending over the odds when this little beauty does everything it’s supposed too, also received within 48hrs so overall experience was brillia
I got it discounted, but it was still more expensive than Lidl
I got this in a lightning deal for around 15. I was supposedly saving more than 25. Unfortunately, when I went to lidl a few days later. I saw a very similar iron to this for only 12. Also the lidl iron came with 3 years warranty as standard.
The iron itself is pretty good, it does the job its made for. It’s got all the setting for different types of clothing material.
Don't let the cheap price question if it's good
I bought this as a cheap spare until my filter for my steam generator iron arrived. It’s a good little iron, not too light or heavy. It definitely does the job but I find the steam trigger to be on the wrong side…it’s awkward to press but this is just a pickle little niggle. It’s a good iron and great value for money as I’ve had dearer irons that aren’t as good as this.
The Starship Enterprise of steam irons!
I love my new iron. Mainly it’s the design of the plate because the shape of the pointy end makes ironing so much easier and quicker. The only drawback is the colour of the water reservoir; I’d have preferred it to be colourless so I could see the water level more easily. But that’s just being picky. Overall great value for money. It glides effortlessly through the ironing.
I am so glad I did buy this stylish Iron does the job and with ease was recommended to me earlier model to this one. The heating element is very rapid to get to temperature, which must save you even more money and there are several options available to inject some extra steam into your ironing too. There is long electrical cable securely fitted to top of the iron. The iron itself seems ideally weighted to be efficient at it’s job not too heavy to make hard work of the ironing. The water tank for the steam is a good size and I don’t have to stop to refill it. If you are looking for a reasonably priced quality iron, then this is it. 2 year guarantee can be extended. A highly recommended.
Bought as a gift for a friend who wanted a good quality non-steam generator iron, a decent iron that would take the creases out of her clothes without it being a long-drawn out exercise.
This ticks all the boxes, apparently. She has arthritis in her hands, so wanted a relatively light-weight iron that was comfortable to hold, and would do the job.
At 300 ml the water tank isn’t so small as to be useless, or so big as to be heavy.
The soleplate glides effortlessly over clothing, and she liked the stylish purple colour. If this follows the Russell Hobbs appliances that I have (kettle, toaster, toastie maker) it will last for years. Currently available at a very good price, which is what swung the decision in favour of this model.
Great iro
What can I say the same iron was 45 2 years back now at this price its like haveing it fir next to nothing and it’s a great iron I’ve had 1 going back 3 years and it was great then and its is great now. With me I all ways try new products when 1 dies. And trust me the amount off use irons get used in my home u think my lot would be iron for half off UK lol
This is a light weight iron, which I bought to replace a much heavier iron. It is light weight glides easily across clothes and have had good results . It has a built in cleaner so you can descale at the touch of a button. Much nicer than the one I had before and lighter. Definitely 5*.
For a 15 iron, this is a great iron. It warms up to great temperatures if you need it, and doesn’t make nasty steam that will get your clothes dirty. We usually don’t use much water on it, and it works perfectly.
Got this iron at a discount and am very pleased with the outcome. After figuring out the circular dials were on opposing directions to the last one (Braun), I was able to competently get the iron to heat up and the use of it was super easy. It glides over clothes gives a super ironing experience and outcome. Also, my ironing time has reduced thanks to its ease of use… Definitely recommend it!
Does the job
Not many people like ironing, but if you have a decent iron like the Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Traditional iron it makes the job a bit easier. Iron has a self-cleaning function which is neat. Cable is long and doesn’t get in the way when ironing. I would prefer if the dial gave indication of what fabrics each setting is compatible with.
What an I say about this little iron, value for money doesn’t justify , its fantastic.
I only have a small amount of ironing some times and seems a waste to get my big iron generator out this does the job fantastically
For an iron just under 15 you can’t really complain. It’s light and does a good job.
I would have liked a slightly longer lead but apart from that it’s great.
For those that have said their iron had signs of water in them, mine did too, but it also had a sticker saying this was left over from the QA process. It was well packaged.
I’m very happy with this iron. It will last as long as it’s more expensive cousins I’m sure so why pay nearly 40 more when this iron does the job just as well. Maybe it doesn’t have all the fancy gimmicks the others have but it steams, it removes creases, it’s light and easy to use, it does exactly what I want an iron to do and at a quarter of the price. I would happily recommend it.
but to my surprise it have really nice vapor options
I actually was expecting something more basic for the quantity i spend, but to my surprise it have really nice vapor options, good security systm and is not that complicate to use, considering how much i dislike ironing this little surprise is very well welcome. Plus even it is not that important i like the cute desing….. anyway i like i
Having used an old fashioned steam iron forever, my last purchase (unnoticed by me at the time) had a ceramic base, what a nightmare!
Now I am back to a stainless steel plate and it is fabulous, I may even do more ironing!
I bought this as it was on offer after my large steam generator iron packed in. Great little iron considering the cost. put off purchasing a new steam generator as it’s doing a great job on my ironing. Packed well and arrived quickly.
Brought this after I accidentally dropped my other one. Did have a steam generated one before with the big vase, and I brought this as it was cheap to bridge the gap before buying a better one. However, this might just be the best iron I’ve had! So much easier than the last bulky one, irons quickly and has a great stream of steam throughout use, with the steam button for stubborn creases.
It’s very easy to use apart from working out the settings! I wasn’t sue which way was hotter and which cooler but when I sorted this out it was very easy to use
Easy to use and lightweight but struggles slightly on tough creases even with steam function. Also I keep forgetting to turn the heat dial down when turning off, as instructed in the manual. On the plus side easy to fill and empty and doesn’t spit or mark on the base plate like my old one.
Excellent quality and light weight yet does the job as well as a heavy one.
I hate ironing, really hate it. I never used to do any, but unfortunately, I now have children and the go to school and I worry what the teacher will think if I send them in all creased and crumpled. So every morning I do a speedy last minute blast of ironing. My previous iron was a cheapy cheepo tesco own brand and was treated with disdain, the cable broke so I was forced to replace. This has a much larger footplate with really speeds things up, the plate tapers to a pointy end which really helps with tight corners and between buttons. The glide is smooth and the blast of steam is pretty powerful. It heats up really quickly as well which is especially important on busy mornings and is easy to fill without dribbles. So far I am very impressed. A vast improvement on the last for not too much extra cash. Just 4 stars because I just can’t bring myself to love an iron.
Having spent a fortune on irons in the past for them to last very little time I decided to opt for this one. What a little gem, it is so simple to use and heats up very quickly, it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that the more expensive ones do but it does everything I need it to.
Bought a different that had a a higher rRP but was cheaper in a warehouse deal–should have known better and stayed with this one that I had before and lasted 4 years. This is great efficient and works well. Im a guy so not looking for all the bells and whistles. just something that works and this fits the bill perfectly.
I was a bit unsure about buying this iron as I like to hold the, for weight as well as how the handle would fit my hand. It arrived very quickly, which is always a good start with me. I don
T like ironing at the best of times but this iron is great. I have MS so was very impressed when I felt the lightness of it but then wondered how it would iron without the weight behind it. I needn’t have worried. It glides across any material with ease. It has a nice long lead, much longer than my previous iron, and I can now iron things on the end of the board. It also has a cute dolphin nose shaped point which really gets into corners. The steam facility is also good, no spitting or spillages and I’ve cleaned several garments with the upright steam setting.
In all I found this iron to be brilliant. It does everything it says it does and is comfortable. Highly recommended.
