After a preset time of approx. 10 seconds to 15 minutes, the motion detector switches off again when no more movements are detected. With the help of a controller, the switch-on sensitivity of this device can be regulated depending on the ambient brightness (in the range between 3 and 2,000 LUX).

Been installed a few months now all good
I installed this a few months ago in a toilet. This was installed to replace a pull cord type switch, which often ended up getting left on. For me this was easy to install as I was able to access the loft space above this room.
First of all I turned the main power off then I removed the old pull cord switch.
Then follow the instructions I connected power to the sensor and the output to the light.
Turn the power back on and tested and it worked fine.
The only thing I then needed to do was to adjust how long the light should stay on for and the sensitivity.
One thing to remember is that I was installing this in a toilet, so you need to remember if someone is sat on a toilet then they may not move enough to activate the sensor, so I set this at about 2 mins.
Next I adjusted the sensitivity which ended up taking a few days, as you need to work out how much light is in the room. For example if you walk in the room in daylight then you don’t want the light to activate, you want the light to come on when it starts to get dark so this needs a bit of tweaking to get right.
Its easy enough to adjust once installed, you can just pop the sensor down about 1cm and you can adjust the settings with a small screwdriver and then pop the sensor back up again.
The image I have attached shows the sensor installed on the ceiling. Next to it is where the old pull cord switch was, I filled the holes in with Polyfilla and I just need to paint over it, then you wont tell it was there.
Great replacement for noisy light switches.
Great product and easy to install. Bought to replace noisy pull cord light switch in downstairs bathroom. Needs to be setup (Time on, ambient light detection) before final installation. Continuous movement detection resets timer so base setting can be short. Also stops lights being accidently left on. Wish I had bought years ago.

I have already installed these in my outhouse and they work perfectly.
They are very easy to install – just take care if (like us) you have some old wiring in your house and have a mix of red & black and brown and blue thanks to lazy previous owners in the property! I didn’t have this problem in the outhouse as I built the lighting circuit from scratch, but in the main house this did mean I had to spend a lot of time working out which was the ‘switched live’.
I like that you can adjust the sensitivity and length of time the lights stay on for to strike a balance between energy saving and usefulness.
It was this utility that made me buy a second pack; we have had lights with integrated PIR in our small bathroom but they just weren’t sensitive enough to be truly useful and we were regularly left in the dark on the loo! This is where the upgrade to these sensors came in and the family love it.
They love it so much they want me to install the remaining sensor in the master bathroom!

Por el precio que tiene cumple perfectamente como uno de marca nacional que vale 4 veces mas y ha durado 5 aos. espero que ese dure lo mismo o ms.
La instalacin es muy sencilla, aunque en este caso lo he tenido mas fcil porque la instalacin de cableado ya estaba hecha y solo ha sido sustituir.

Excellent for what I needed, to switch a light on, low wattage LED, on the stairs for an aging grand parent, who incidentally couldn’t be bothered to switch a light on just to walk up the stairs (in the dark)

The double pack is good value and Ive just purchased another two for the hall I’ve been working at. The saving over having lights left on is very good and noticeable. They work well with all types of lighting.

These PIR’s fix flush to the ceiling so no ugly patress box spoiling the view.. They detect motion very well; almost too well.. if you have a large cat it will turn on when they enter the room… perhaps not a bad thing lol.
Therefore It would be nice to have adjustable motion detection but alas these only have time and ambient light adjustment.

Excellent product, does exactly what it needs to. Adjustable dusk setting to allow you to control whether it comes on in daylight to darkness. There will be a setting that suits all conditions. Can also adjust how long lights stay on for. Perfect for my in wardrobe lights.

The sensor itself works well and I am pleased with it. It also looks good being recessed.
The instructions needed more detail. At first I did not understand the wiring instructions but managed to work it out. No hole size for the cut out were given. I tried on a scrap of plasterboard and 65mm seemed to work out.

Il marche trs bien. Il est juste un peu plus sensible de ce que j’ai compris des instructuions fournis, ce qu’il fait qu’il se dclenche avant que prvu. Pas vraiment un problme, mais il convient de tester avant de choisir l’emplacement dfinitif (avant de percer vu qu’il est encastr)

La deteccin es muy buena, el rango para ajustar tiempo de encendido y la luz ambiental a la que decides que se encienda es bueno. Good motion detection and illuminatio
Good range on the motion detection, and good configurability on timing and luminescence. The wiring connector is pretty fiddly, it’s not the old screw type, but one of the newer friction types. Took a while to work out how to use it! Cool white bulb provides good light for entire porch area.

Great PIR
Great product and super easy to install, just need to ensure you have enough cable spare. I did away with the wall switch and just had a permanent live neutral going to the ceiling light with this fitted inline. Detects movement very quickly and has lots of adjustments for ambient light and timings. If I wanted to find any negative I would say it’s quite big compared with other PIR sensors requiring a 57mm hole in the ceiling but it does make wiring it in far easier.

I’m an electrician and bought this for my own house, I usually wouldn’t use such a cheap product but as it’s in my own home it’s not a problem if its rubbish.
In fact so far I’ve found it excellent, easy installation and works perfectly. Admittedly it’s in my small entrance hallway so not sure how good it would be in a larger room. Lux settings work well as does the timer. Definitely would recommend.

Funcionan bien. El dimetro es un poco menor de lo que pensaba y me tapa el agujero justo. Tiene menos sensibilidad que el anterior que tena de Hager pero para lo que es cumple perfectamente.
Edito. Como informacion. Agosto 2021. Se estrope. Justo 2 aos y un mes despus de la compra se puso en modo bypass con lo que las luces quedaban seguido encendidas. Por suerte era un pack de 2 as que he puesto el otro.

I recently had installed sensor lighting into a couple of rooms due to my family not turning lights off. The sensor I had originally installed was awful and it wasn’t cheap as it’s sensitivity range was limited. I bought these as a replacement and WOW – what a difference – a happy camper now.

This is one review that’s a must. We have a 1 watt led downlight which we had another brand PIR operating. We had all sorts of false activation’s – this one has been perfect.
Finding a PIR that works reliably with LED bulbs is one thing – but with a 1watt LED – thats more of a challenge, thankfully this one is perfect.
