Anti hair wrap
Just love this feature as I have long grey hair, touch of a button to change floors and really light which again is great for me as I have arthritis in my fingers, this is my 2nd Shark brand last one I had for 7 years so my opinion a great brand.
Does the job well
Picks up dirt, dog hair and dust well. Get some more filters though because its that good i have to change the filter every use and wash it so spare filters are essential whilst the filter dries.
Good vacuum
Very good vacuum but would recommend sticking with cordless version for ease of use. Especially if it’s just for a quick run around the house. Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because of the small dirt collection tank
Great suction on carpets
There is only one thing not to like – it isn’t free standing when using as the stand up vaccuum. But it folds compactly for storing. Really good suction on carpets. Easy to empty. I am thinking of getting another one for upstairs to replace a Dyson cordless – which is quite poor in comparison.

Have had shark before but this is by far the best for me as it’s corded so great suction and it’s very lightweight unlike the other one I had would highly recommend if looking for a really good vacuum

First time I’ve bought a Shark, I have to say so far it’s been brilliant. I even take it into my friends and do her carpets for her as she can’t stand now. Easy to use, easy to empty. Well worth the price.
Corded vacuum
The first shark I had was battery operated. Which was great and portable and convenient. But the corded shark has so much more power and the lead is so long I can cover such a big area without re plugging . Very pleased

brilliant. Cleans edges better than my old battery hoover but have not yet found one that gets right up
to the edges without using the narrow spout which i find a bit awkward and fiddly. Would have given 5 stars
otherwise.
I purchased this as I have a dog that is always molting.
I couldn’t believe how much hair it picked up.
I only vax cleaned my carpet a month ago but the amount of dust it collected was incredible.
The collection pot isn’t huge so I had to empty it twice.
I purchased the corded model and the lead is long enough to do upstairs too without moving the plug. In fact I can do the whole house without unplugging.
The attachments for the stairs work well and it’s fairly lightweight

Suction powe
This is an amazing machine, I thought my carpets were clean until I used the Shark and then I realised the amount of grit that came out, I would give this machine 100 %
It arrived this afternoon. Packaging was all recyclable being cardboard and brown paper bags so that was REALLY nice. Easy to assemble (though I did watch an unboxing video yesterday). When it’s folded it’s much dinkier than I thought and I’m delighted it fits very easily into my small under stairs cupboard. When I started hoovering, it’s not noisy and is rather a low tone (rather than the strident noise of my old vacuum) so maybe the cat can learn to live with it and stop dashing outside whatever the weather when I turned the old vacuum on. When I hoovered the living room it picked up all the bits on my carpet and laminate very well. I used the handheld head to do the stairs and found it quite light to manoeuvre (im over 60 and have arthritis in my hands) I used the mini pet brush head accessory I bought as extra as it worked better on the stair carpet than the supplied accessory brush (I’ll leave that to do sofa and soft furnishings). The cable is very long and I could go up the stairs and do the landing as well. One slight negative is that the hoover head was quite high so it wouldn’t pass under my sofa (but the husband says he will put raised feet on the sofa, bless him. So in all this stick vacuum ticked nearly all of my boxes. I never buy appliances without checking for independent reviews by Which? They rated this as a Best Buy and I do think it is a great little machine

Love Shark
This is my second Shark. I really like them. I bought my first one because I was finding it difficult to carry my old hoover upstairs especially in a house with 3 floors. I wil say this one is a little heavier than the first one and more effort is needed when using it. Still a great hoover.

Such a good hoover! My partner was sceptical the anti hair wrap wouldn’t work but it does! The suction is fantastic, when it arrived I hoovered our lounge with our old Sebo and then immediately did it again with my new Shark and was amazed at how much more it collected in the dust chamber after I’d used our old hoover!
Excellent suctio
Great product – bought this as my new cordless one was not doing the job. Was pleasantly surprised at how good this is – the suction is excellent, both as an upright and the hand held. Cleans my house brilliantly and cleaned my car after having dogs in and the results are outstanding.

The vacuum folds very easily and has amazing suction and 2 different modes for tiles and carpet I found the carpet mode is fantastic as it sucked up so much dust I never knew was even there even on thick rugs it gets down and removes all little crumbs etc it is very easy to remove filters for cleaning and take out the contents although I found myself emptying the storage of sucked items every good clean around the house overall I would highly recommend

We have 3 dogs and 2 kids so used regularly.
Main issue is the size of the collection bin is very small. Can fill it in 2 rooms so slows you down. Could do with optional extra for an xl collection bin as it is removable for emptying.
Had to had the head replaced as kept stopping the brush bar. One call to shark and they sent replacement few days later. Excellent customer service.
I hated my old hoover not only was it heavy, it hurt my back, wouldn’t do my shaggy textured rug, even after 3 times of trying!!!!! I wanted an easy new one. Small but powerfull .I’ve gotta say this is a beautiful hoover..compact And cleverly put together but the POWER was amazing.My rug got the best clean it’s ever had , and omg it was disgusting pulled all My digs hairs up all old dust just brilliant. Good vacuum
Manoeuvrable lightweight one of the better vacuums we’ve used however makes annoying sound when pulled backwards since purchase must be a design fault returned original item but replacement had same issue
It’s light, relatively quiet, gets into all the places you need to get to with ease, is easy to empty and even smells nice while you’re hoovering. What’s not to like. I was very surprised.
Only one slight negative – sometimes it prefers going in one direction rather than another over the carpet pile when using the brushes but that’s not really a problem. Just hoover in the other directions. I’m very pleased with it and, from my experience so far, I’d highly recommend it.
I bought this to replace my old cylinder vacuum cleaner. It came well packed and with easy to understand instructions. I am very used to using a corded cleaner and this is so easy to use around the house with its long cord! Emptying after use is a doddle and it folds up nice and small for storage. The only thing I had to buy were some spare filters so that I can wash the used ones ready for next use. At 450 Watts it’s certainly more efficient than my old 2 Kw cleaner!! Happy days 🙂
Do not buy this hoover. It is not anti hair wrap. I had to unclog it then hoover everywhere again. Then unclog again. So hoovering my house 3 times to get it clean. Spent more time cutting hair out of the roller than actually using it.
Contacted customer service at shark and they sent me a trouble shooting tip. Doesn’t work. 6 months on and it’s broken. I have dogs so this is why I got it.
Probably will be OK if you have no dogs no cats no kids that make a mess and you have a show home that you don’t actually live in.
Now I need to buy another hoover. Think I will stick to the Henry’s
Was in a real quandary about this purchase – especially having been a Miele and Dyson user for years. But I was looking for something lighter and easier to manoeuvre. Delighted to say it is a pleasure to use. I love the fact that it bends down easily to become half its size, making it very transportable (needed for job as housekeeper). I also love the fact that the waste bin is small so it definitely encourages you to empty after each use. I also love the flexibility of the floor sweeper part of the vacuum. with a simple twist, the machine gets round table legs and under units simply and powerfully. Only downside is the suction -dont get me wrong, the suction is more than adequate for my purpose – cleaning holiday lets – but I would love to feel the thing grabbing the carpet a little more! – somehow that would make me feel it really was great suction. Summary: Still very happy with it – love the look of it, love its ease of use and its lightness and portability – emptying it is the easiest I have ever owned. would definitely recommend. Goodbye Miele and Dyson.

I love the shark stick vacuum. It’s easy to use, very powerful. Great for pet hair. .
My only issue is with storage. It. Folds over nice and small. But needs to be put in a corner to stop it falling over.
Pro’s: Very compact and can be stored away with ease, great for picking up pet hair (self explanatory for the model), suction power is pretty good for the price, cable length is great so don’t have to keep unplugging to change rooms, very ease to clean filters and rollers if they do become full.
Cons: stair accessory is nearly useless as slows down significantly when pressure applied, dirt compartment very small so if you have a medium/large house this isn’t the greatest, about the same weight as our old upright vacuum cleaner, feels very flimsy and cheaply built especially where it folds to allow for storage so sceptical of it’s longevity.
overall a decent Vacuum cleaner for those just starting up in a small home, but could be better for the price being asked.
Amazing!
Got this for a gift to a friend but definitely worth buying again for my home. It’s very easy to use, and extremely powerful. We test it to a medium size rug and it was amazing to see how much dirt this vacuum can take. Love that you don’t need extra bags. Also, the fact that can bend so you don’t have to,it’s just amazing.
Highly recommended if you have pets or crawling babies and you need a trusted vacuum.

Got this for my disabled elderly mother who doesn’t have much strength in her hands. This hoover is light weight and easy to manoeuvre. It’s one of the best hoovers I’ve ever used.

Love this hoover, had a very heavy style before, this is light weight, easy to use and powerful.
I wanted a chorded as I have long hair and I have 2 cats who she’d. This is powerful and I don’t have to worry about battery life. It has loads of attachments, they’re all useful.
It can take a while getting used to how it packs, folds, where parts go etc. but it’s easy enough to work out.
Also useful for the car as it can become a handheld and is light and tiny.
I love it and can’t fault it. Extremely happy.
Surprisingly good for price
I got this for my sister’s small flat after reading good reviews. It works well on carpet and hard floor. I got a corded one as she had nowhere to chage a cordless otherwise would have looked for cordless.
Cleans carpet pretty well
Primary reason to buy this was due to the rooms in 2 bedroom apartment have carpet and I wasn’t sure if battery powered vacuum cleaner will clean them enough and for how long.
5 on that there are a couple of improvements that I can suggest, which may not be related to its function but are annoying:
1. Cable is not retractable, huge disappointed as no matter how well you manuaver, it comes in the way since you can control how much should it be in open.
2. Can’t stand on its own, and considering bin size is small, you need it to stand when you’re going to empty the bin.
3. Small bin

1. Duo rolling brush cleans carpet and floor well.
2. Handles hair pretty well without getting stuck often.
3. Powerful suction.
4. Well made other than the aforementioned design issues.
Needs emptying very ofte
Having a golden retriever in my home I get a lot of dog hair. This hoover picks it up well but I need to empty it several times when doing the whole house.

Light and efficie
This vacuum cleaner is exactly what I was looking for and it is making my life easier. It has a good suction, it is easy to clean, it is light to carry in one hand. I can use it for carpet or kitchen floor also good for moulding and corners.
I bought a Vax the battery one as I thought at the time it was a good idea, I had also bought a battery lawn mower – well they are both useless as have to be constantly recharged and do not last the time the say. Give me old fashioned electric power any time. I would not have an electric car if it was offered free, they have not perfected it yet and yes I would like to save the world but let the boffins get it right first, these so called battries do not last, why would I want to buy a new one every year because the old ones dont charge?

Very long lead can do my work from one plug. Heavy. So far has great suction. Easy to empty. Good on stairs. It says to clean floors place foot on nozzle and tilt handheld vacuum back. Easier said than done. I’m finding that difficult. Otherwise good hoover.
Ok vacuum
Was really looking forward to receiving this. Had seem some good reviews and was sure it would be better than my Shark Duo. Easy to fit together, not as heavy as expected. Was a little disappointed with the suction. Not as powerful as I had hoped. Would I buy again, I’m really not sure. Will have to see how it goes over the next few weeks. Still prefer my Shark Duo though.
I brought this to replace my upright Shark vacuum that was getting itself in a pickle after 4 years relentless useage and many different filters and replacement roller etc. So, I hoped that despite this one being a handheld version, that it would be as good, or as near as my old Shark. I am pleased to report that it IS just as good, in terms of suction, power and ease to empty, but a lot more flexible to get under sofa/ beds/ tables etc, as you just drop the middle of the hose with the easy click button, and it nearly goes under without having to bend down too much.
I love that the light on the head seems to be a standard feature of Shark vacuums, meaning I can see EVERYTHING I’m about to hoover – including Lego bits, barbies shoes etc.
It comes with 3 different accessories, all of which are super easy to switch to mid-hoover, like, when doing the staircase for example. Whilst you can leave the main hose and head on for the stairs, as the head is small enough to do stairs sideways comfortably, I find it just as quick to eject the hose and switch to the pet head attachment and give it a close up hoover instead.
I love how the easy it is to switch between hard and carpet floor on the smooth button display near the top of the handle. Simple when going from bedroom carpet to tiled en-suite. When I switch back to carpet mode, the second roller head kicks into action and drives me around the carpet with eagerness to clean!
I have always been fascinated at the amount of dust pick-up comes through, even when I have just hoovered and emptied in the same day. It is fair to say, I don’t need an excuse to get the vacuum back out after a chaotic play date with a load of kids dropping crumbs everywhere- it is a pleasure to hoover with, again, in the same day.
The extra long cord is a huge plus – something that bothered me on my last Shark. I couldn’t reach all rooms without unplugging and re plugging before. The cord is long enough for me to hoover all of my upstairs, or all of my downstairs in one hit. The Minor downside for me is that the whole cord has to be unwrapped to use it freely, so you have to consider your route a bit when hoovering, as do not to hoover the cord in the process. You also have to pop the handle down after use, before re-wrapping the cord around the cord keep, it doesn’t look tidy, nor will the hoover stand up alone, if you don’t do it in this order.
Final verdict – I would recommend this hoover.

I spent ages researching vacuum cleaners. It’s hard to pick one because you get such polar opposite reviews. I’m adding to the spectrum of reviews by saying I’m glad I bought this vacuum and would recommend it.
I decided on the corded version because I felt I didn’t want to chance the drop in suction and faff of the battery of the cordless.
You do get quite a bit of faff with the corded version mind, since the cord has to be constantly contended with. I would try the cordless next time for that reason and hopefully batteries will have come on even more in the next few years.
I chose the stick version because it looked like it would be lighter and the bendy aspect would come in handy. Both of this have proven to be true, it is much lighter than my previous vacuum and I can get under my settee and desk easily.
I was worried that the dust container would be too small but it has not proven to be a problem. I do have to empty it a few times if I do all of my average sized house in one go, but it’s much easier, quicker and less messy than my previous vacuum. Just click out and click back in. There’s also a gross satisfaction in seeing all the dust and hairs it has captured.
The suction of this is better than I expected. It feels like it’s not doing much because it is a lot lighter than my previous vacuum. I was barely able to drag that one across the carpet if it was on full suction. This one is easily pushed but the amount of crap it picks up is amazing. I’ve had it a few months now and I still say to my husband, ‘look at this, that’s just from the livingroom!’. Probably tmi, but there is only two of us and a cat living in my house and I can’t believe how much dirt falls to the floor in a week.
Anyway, the other thing I went for is the ati-hair wrap technology. Being a long- haired person, I frequently was to be found crouching on the floor cutting hair off the brushes of my previous vacuum. It was gross. This technology is a revelation. It absolutely works. I don’t understand anyone who says it doesn’t. I promise you it does. It doesn’t have a single hair on its brushes. They get wrapped around a cone in the dust compartment and part of the satisfaction of emptying it is seeing the cone of hair sliding into the bin.
The last thing that sold this vacuum to me is that it folds up and fits into my small vacuum cupboard. Though, along with the faffy cord, it is the only other annoying thing about this vacuum, because it can’t stand upright on its own unless you fold it over. But on the whole, it is worth these faffs to get a vacuum that is light, maneuverable, has good suction and is easy to empty and maintain.

This is the best vacuum cleaner I have used. And I have used many ! Auction is great, handling is brilliant. The only issues I’d the cord. It’s a good length, but it is the worst I’ve had for not being able to glide against itself or other objects. It gets caught all the time and frustrates the hell out of me. Do difficult to wind up too as it gets all cooled up on itself. shark, great vacuum crap cord !

I do like this vac picks up v well and it does stand up if you bring the handle down I like the look of it and v easy to work to me it’s not heavy when you take the stick out and clean walls

I bought this Shark Vacuum, as it said it was good for if you have a pet, and I wanted one that you could make smaller to vacuum the car with. It’s great for sucking up pet hair, and also doing the stairs with.
It folds down smaller, and is lightweight and easy to carry. The 3 tools that come with it are very useful.

Its easy to manoeuvre but is a little heavy with the weight all in the handle. Great at picking up pet hair and I found the anti-hair wrap worked well. Detaching the handle made it easy to use on stairs, car etc and I found the suction better than my previous cordless model.
The negatives are it needs emptying every room or two as the collection tub is very small. Also the pet attachment tool for the handheld mode is rubbish.
Overall, prefer this model is better than my previous Shark but a few annoying niggles.

I bought this to replace my Dyson roller ball upright as I couldn’t bring myself to pay for an upgrade. I am so glad I chose this. It works really well, is lightweight, folds away nicely and has a long cord. Love the headlights and it is really easy to empty.
Brilliant for small homes
Great vacuum. Folds really tiny for storage, has great suction and the light on the front of the head makes it easy to see exactly what’s happening on wooden floors. The cable is extremely long – this seems odd but means it is capable of vacuuming a one bedroom flat without changing socket. Not sure if that was their intention! Means all of the power of corded but almost the convenience of cordless. Picks up loads of dust and handles hair amazingly. Easy to empty. The roller heads can be finicky if something gets stuck but it’s easy enough to free.

I used to use a uncorded from a very well known maker and was sick and tired of the how poor the quality of the battery and the suction was. but I won’t give shark 5 stars because not only can the very long cord get wieldy (you expect some of that and the long cord also has its advantages), but it is heavy to move around. It’s certainly not lightweight.
Best vacuum cleaner I've bough
My Dyson is now heading for the skip! The Shark is without a doubt the best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever bought. I have long hair and feel like I shed more than my old German Shepherd, I also do a lot of dressmaking so threads are commonplace embedded in my carpets. I used to have to get on my hands and knees with a hard bristle brush to get rid of them but 2 minutes vacuuming with the Shark and all the hairs and threads were gone. Worth every penny and I highly recommend this cleane

I purchased because it was recommended for pet lovers with problems of hair and vacuum cleaners not being able to cope. The shark was amazing I have two very hairy dogs and it coped incredibly well.
Only one small niggle, the dust collection bin fills up very quickly and has to be emptied frequently, but a small price to pay for such amazing suction and performance.

Best hoover ever!
I’ve had about 4 hoovers now this so the best by far easy to store switches between floor and carpet easily. No hair wrap on the roller and is so easy to clean. Was disgusted the first time I used after the amount of dust it picked up my old hoover was clearly doing nothing attachments are good for furniture and long handle for cobwebs excellent investment. What apiece of kit!
This is a superb vacuum cleaner, and I particularly like the “power head” that fits onto the hand held unit. Great for stairs and the car! Well worth the money.
Anti-wrap is King!
We used to have a cordless Shark, an early one I think, and I really wanted the anti-wrap feature and the removeable waste container but needed to retain the light weight and easy handling. This new one does that.

Have read all the reviews about the shark before I purchased this product. Although a little heavy for me , but that’s because I have a shoulder injury, . I cannot fault this brilliant vacuum cleaner. Well worth the money,. I have long hair and my bedroom is hard to clean, but for this vacuum, hair what hair! Brilliant!
And although it cost more than I would normally spend on a vacuum cleaner, its well worth it, when you have had 9 vacuum’s in the past that were no where near has brilliant has this product, it does exactly what it says on the box and more,. Thankyou Amazon and Shark
Great product... For my cleaners
I got this Hover to use for my Airbnb, I’m thinking of getting a second one for home, my wife really loves the Rose Gold colour.
– Great strong suction power, regular and turbo speed
– The bottom is heavy but doesn’t break your back
– Handheld option is really convenient, easy on and off
– Emptying the dust compartment is really easy and clean
One thing I noticed people complaining is that you can’t keep it standing upright…
But it can actually be folded nicely and stored away, I’ve uploaded a video, feel free to have a look at it if you have time for a 30sec video.
