Disappointed
Bought to replace old heavy vacuum cleaner but am disappointed as I find it difficult to manoevre and painful for my arthritic shoulders.

Excellent! This vacuum is a beast. But the lead is a bit annoying.
Brilliant suction. Does a great job on the stairs. Effortless on carpets and floors. The lead it a bit annoying. I was used to a retractable cable with my miele cylinder…. I love it!

Great suction for pet hairs
I’m really happy with my purchase of the Shark anti wrap corded vacuum. It does the job perfectly even with stubborn pet hairs. I don’t have stairs so I can’t comment on stair cleaning. I haven’t tried the attachments yet but have a feeling they will help with some of the areas I find difficult to reach with the vacuum cleaner. My only little niggle is that the container for the carpet mess is quite small and I have to empty it a lot and it doesn’t stand upright, I have to prop it up on the wall. Still worthy of all stars though

Good machine
Impressed by the suction power especially when in the carpet setting. Cleaned the room with old machine and then with shark and it almost came up with half a containers worth. Corded is inconvenient but the stable suction power is worth the hassle. Worth considering as you don’t have to worry about battery draining while using it.

A great vacuum cleaner at a good price
After trying several battery powered stick cleaners, the sheer lack of genuine suction for any usable period of time meant I had to go back to a cabled mains cleaner. This cleaner proved to be a great solution as it has a very long flex, is lightweight and has great suction. It even cleaned my car completely free of dirt, small stone chippings and dog hair in a very short time. Well impressed!

Brilliant, brilliant vacuum cleane
We have had a few vacuum cleaners in the past some much more expensive than this one. This one though is simply brilliant. It’s very quiet, smooth, has a light to shine where you are hoovering. It comes apart so you can use it as a hand device for applications like cleaning small places, stairs or a vehicle.

The best bit is there are not pesky bags to keep having to buy and empty, it works like a Dyson in that it collects all the dirt in a container that you simply empty into the bin. We love it!

Husband’s New Toy
We’ve had this for a month now and it’s just brilliant. So light weight with great accessories. The rugs look like new again.

My husband told me it’s the best thing I’ve bought him this year!!

I love my new vacuum cleaner!
I bought this because my old one was getting too heavy for me to cart up and down stairs, and cleaning the stairs themselves was a nightmare using an old fashioned upright. With my new Shark, I just use the hand held bit for the stairs and it’s so light and easy. The suction is great. It’s very easy to take apart to use different tools or empty the dust away. Can’t praise it too highly

Amazing
Wanted one of these for ages ! It did not disappoint. Fantastic suction, went mad and did all the house when it arrived….. and if you buy one make sure to Hoover your bed !! It’s so good it’s scary, how good it cleans !!!. Thank you

Great hoove
The shark duo clean has 2 settings for carpet and wooden floor. Brilliant vacuum, powerful. Folds in half for storage. I actually done upstairs as far as the landing without unplugging it. Very highly recommend this Hoover.

Best hoover I’ve ever had, brilliant !!!!!
I am a full time cleaner and highly recommend my Swan, Love the variable suction as I have carpet and laminate, no need to move most of my furniture as it slides easily under most of it, easy and clean to empty, I actually enjoy hoovering now !!!!

A little gem
I have gone back to a corded vacuum after having an expensive Dyson cordless for 3 very unhappy years. This Shark is a godsend. Comparatively it’s a bit heavier but by 3rd use you don’t notice it. It is quicker, much quieter, picks up far more dirt and bigger pieces – the Dyson would just push them along the floor! I have hard floors and rugs in my bungalow and the cord reaches every nook and cranny once plugged into a central hallway socket and coming out of the top by the handle it doesn’t tangle up. I love the lights on the front which helps to see fluff. Only con is that it doesn’t go under my tv unit which is about 3 inches off the floor. I might think about buying one if the accessory tools that will do this but hey ho it’s no biggie.

The only issue I think I’ll have with it is that when it overheats it automatically shuts off. Which is great, better than burning out the motor, but I only got 2 rooms thoroughly done before it shut off. Overall it’s well with the price, I paid 178.

Grea
I own a shark cordless and had been reasonably happy until I bought this. I was amazed with how much dirt was lifted off my hard floors rug and carpet on stairs and bedrooms. I would hoover a few times a week and was disgusted when I seen what this lifted. Suction is fantastic and the pet tool is great for sofas and stairs. This is far cheaper than cordless alternatives and I wasn’t sure how I would cope returning to a corded model but the length of the wire this product has makes the transition a lot easier. I would recommend if you want the style of the cordless as it is similar but has more suction. Slightly heavier but nothing major. Quite like a workout when I’m doing the chores!

Elderly purchase
Bought this for my mum because the upright Dyson is too heavy for her to carry round. It’s perfect for people who are getting on and find normal vacuum cleaners cumbersome. It’s brilliant for pet hair also and the suction is better than the Dyson, but they’re both pretty good

I purchased this as I can no longer use my cylinder vacuum. I tried a Gtech. Returned it as it was not up to the hype. We used a Shark on holiday and loved it I am really pleased not only with its suction but looks and features. Easy to empty dust container, removal of head. Storage has a great function that folds in half so stores in a bottom cupboard. I would advise anyone to buy this product you don’t have to wait for it to charge as the cable is more than long enough to get into any nook and cranny. As someone who has difficulties with my hands it is not a problem, whoever designed the vacuum put a lot of thought into how the user had ease of use , Thank you shark design team.

Exactly What is promised. Light and easy to use. Folds up small and works well in a super small and cluttered house. Very long cable. Wish I had bought it years ago.

Super suctio
We didn’t realise how inefficient our other cleaner was until we used the shark. It has fantastic suction power and with the extra attachments made light work of the stairs. The 10 metre lead also allowed all the bedrooms and landing to be cleaned without changing plugs

Multi use excellent performance
This item is perfect for using in our quirky old cottage. The long flex means accessibility for multiple small rooms from one power point. The detachable hand held motor component, together with the long flex, makes cleaning the wooden spiral staircase easy. Powerful suction in modern cleaners usually makes upholstery cleaning impossible because the devices clamp on to the furnishings, but the brush attachment to use on the hand held component distances the suction for perfect upholstery cleaning. For floor cleaning, the small size of the head, its ability to swivel, and the “flexology” technology, all combine to improve access. The dust container is small and needs frequent emptying, but is so quick and easy to do I don’t consider it a problem. All the different combinations are easy to detach and to click back into place. The foot pedal to remove the cleaner from its upright position I found a bit stiff but I think it’s more a matter of technique and familiarity. In summary, I’m delighted with this cleaner.

Overall I would rate this 4 out of 5 stars. It’s not as lightweight as I would have preferred, but the suction power is very good and it is astonishing how much dust is collected even when hoovering a rug every other day. Unfortunately it doesn’t stand up right on its own, but it’s because it folds in half, so it can be stored in a low cupboard etc. I don’t like the way this feels on lino/wood compared to my other hoovers (henry, dyson v6 cordless) and it feels a bit like a buggy with wheels that turn everywhere, but it does seem to be very powerful on carpets. The accessories don’t click in like they do with my dyson, however, as this was available on 5 monthly payments and free prime delivery and sold by amazon at a reduced price of 150, I feel that overall it was worth the money.

Read for thorough review
Bought this as a middle ground between handheld/cordless & upright/ corded as it is designed to be a middle option, it’s great! I love cordless but having power and a long cable means I have one less thing to worry will run out or did I charge it up. Cable is so long I can hoover all downstairs from one plug, kitchen, conservatory, hallway, stairs, lounge. And then all of up with one socket too, bathroom, 3 bed.

It’s lightweight enough, not super light, but not heavy.

Manoovering wise it’s great, has a good range when pushing around and rotating for nooks and crannies, the flexology is useful for under stuff and even under tables and chairs, beds etc not just sofas (that are high enough).

It functions well going from one form to another ie taking the foot off or main unit off the stick. It’s definitely well designed except that the cord sticks out of the handle in an awkward way sometimes after storage. Folding up for storage is also good and makes it easy to carry to the room you want to hoover.

All accessories are good and fiction well, fit great.

The capacity is low but this works well for someone wanting to see how much or what is being hoovered up, this helps with hoover maintenance too so you know when your hoover needs a good clean and tlc. I often empty it between rooms or rugs etc to see how much it can pull up.

It’s also easy to clean. I did a full clean for the first time yesterday after having it over a month and head to toe was easy, satisfying and feels brand new.

It’s build quality is high, only thing I notice is the stick itself has a slight wobble to it as it’s got the flexology so it’s sturdy but not as sturdy as a solid stick is.

Performance is great, this hoover is great on hard floors, really strong suction, great on rugs and carpets too. Surprised at what it pulls up after already having hoovered, sometimes I hoover twice or more and it’s still bringing up deep and old dust! (You should hoover slowly and in a carpet line method to hoover eat area fully apparently)

Not loud either, all hoovers make noise but this is quieter than my last upright, but louder than the shark handheld (as to be expected)

Other ~

I like it’s lights, great feature.

The light on the foot indicates when the rolling part has stopped due to the surface being uneven, move about and it restarts quick. Smart feature no hassle.

The packaging is good, one box not too big and all accessories wrapped in paper now for recycling.

Warranty, head to sharks website to register for warranty it’s long and great, easy to do but easy to forget to do.

I use this for the car as well, not for a quick push around (use handheld shark) but for a deep hoover. Long cable means it reaches the drive. It’s small enough and the thin nozzle accessory works well, use the foot and mani unit alone for the mats when taken out of the car, you could attach the stick too and stand but I prefer to sit and hoover these on the floor.

went for a corded unit after 2 Dyson batteries failed within a year.

This unit is impressive on wood floors. Not so good on pile rugs .

Also seems heavy after the Dyson but 10metre cord means I only have to replug it once to cover whole bungalow

Great buy
This is the first time I have brought a shark product and I have to say I am very impressed. It is a great hoover. It is lightweight, easy to use, and looks great with the rose gold trim. It folds up so it is compact for storage. I was a little sceptical about the anti hair wrap as I have really long hair and it has always been an issue but I have to say it worked fantastically and hair no longer gets trapped around the brush roll. The tools that come with it are really useful especially the dog hair one. Also when you are hoovering firstly the suction os really powerful, secondly their is a light at the base so you can see the dirt easier in the corners, and thirdly the dirt is separated into two parts of fine dust and larger dust so if you inadvertently hoover up something you shouldn’t it is easy to retrieve. I would definitely recommend this.

Marvellous
should have got one sooner, I was fed up trying to get the hair out of my normal hoover, especially as it is fairly long now, but this had solved the problem. Great movability and easy for an arthritic old lady to use. Fits away nice and tidy, and a lovely long cord which allows me to hoover the whole bungalow without having to keep unplugging and moving the plug somewhere else. I prefer the corded one as I once had (not a Shark) battery one and found it a nuisance to keep having to charge it up and in the end the battery just gave out. Cannot comment on the stairs bit as I obviously do not have any.
