I am really impressed with this hoover the clear precise instructions really help , it really does pick up so much off carpets etc. It is very powerful so watch around loose cables and things like that. Lots of useful tools, only one can not be stored on the hoover out of the 3 but other than that it is perfect for me and my home. Really pleased with my purchase and my first Shark Model Hoover I would definitely consider them in the future and I like the 5 year guarantee.

I bought this for my sister-in-law who wanted a new vacuum cleaner. In use it was very good, and it picked up dog hair extremely well. The problem is that the manual that came with it is nearly all pictures with few words, and when it needed the filter cleaned, she couldn’t work out from the pictures how to get access to it, and the neighbour tried all the possible places where a release button might be and eventually found it.
I have taken off a star because after 6 weeks of use the motor which powers the brush stopped working. Full marks to Shark, when it was reported they sent a replacement brush head which arrived the next day.

I bought this due to hearing good reviews after my old one broke. I got this and had to empty the collection chamber after doing just 2 small rooms due to the amount of dust it picked up! I never knew my carpets were so dusty despite regularly vacuuming.

The only downside is it is very heavy and hard to push when you switch to carpet mode so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone elderly.

This vac is all singing all dancing .Getting used to the swivelling head takes time after a conventional vac .The only difficulty with this vac is it’s suction power,on thick carpets even on half suction is so powerful you can hardly move it forwards it then tends to bounce,I am strong and it is a challenge for me, my wife can’t move it at all.I like the vac but it is a challenge to use .It is new ,perhaps after more use the suction will ease.

I loved everything about this vacuum. As i have a disability I find it easy to use, lightweight and the suction is unbelievable. Due to cat hairs on my staircases { I have two } I previously had to brush them down with a hard brush and hot water, which I found very difficult and quite dangerous. I had previously tried two different vacuum cleaners which failed to make any impression on my stair carpet. I just find it absolutely brilliant, why had I not tried the Shark lift off vacuum before . Love it and find it no longer dangerous to use for my stairs. It works wonderfully well in all areas and surfaces

Had this for a month or so now, highly impressed so far.
For starters – NO plastic packaging used at all. Only cardboard used so can all be recycled easily.
Everything slots together logically and easily.
The suction is great. One of the few I seen with a reduced power function – and you actually need it on thick carpet as its too powerful to steer!
Very easy to empty and filters are easy to access for cleaning too.

Very powerful and cleans like a dream. It looks lighter than it actually is. I can use it but it’s a struggle for my elderly mother and to be honest, I find it hard to push sometimes, particularly on carpet. Attachments are effective it’s easy to empty. FYI if you are looking for something that is really lightweight, this may not be the thing for you.

I found this hover to be very nice and easy to use. Light weight. Simple instructions. Easy to clean carpet and hard floors. The lights are great I have a dark floor and it illuminates the surface before hovering carepert and hard floors. Just wonderful! Thanks Shark

So…my house is where hoovers come to die.
I’m sick of having to buy a new one every year! My previous one cost almost 100, so when that broke I decided to buy a Shark one as I’ve heard how good they are. I chose this one, and I was not disappointed!
After one use my mum commented how it looked like my carpet had been ‘deep cleaned’, and the suction is so strong that I only have it on medium as otherwise I can’t really push and pull it. It is easy to use, lightweight but sturdy.
My daughter loves the light at the front, and it has actually come in more handy than I thought it would. Both of my kids have sensory needs, and the noise this hoover makes isn’t bad at all, they can both cope with it.
The cord is really really long, it’s very useful. As it’s is lightweight and slim it is easy to clean the stairs with this. Also gets really close to the wall!
I LOVE it. If you’re thinking about buying it, just do it! Definitely worth it, would 100% recommend.

So, I’ve had this new Shark for a week now, and used it 2/3 times. It took a lot of looking and reading of reviews to decide on my ‘downstairs’ vacuum, but in the end I decided to pay more than I wanted, to get something I wanted! I have a Vax upstairs, and it only gets used about once a month (there’s only 2 adults here, and we don’t make much mess!) – but it’s heavy beast and not suitable for me to use downstairs, which I do more frequently. We bought it about 12/13 years, and yes it has huge suction and brilliant pick-up, it’s just a very heavy machine…but going strong even now. I hope the Shark does as well.

I was a little afraid of the what the suction might be after reading some of the reviews, many saying they simply couldn’t pull it across the floor! Well, I have COPD so am limited a little, but I need downstairs hoovering at least twice a week, and so far it is proving a dream to use. Yes it’s got powerful suction, and I’ve got variable carpeting downstairs, but if you use the suction control on the handle/wand, it helps enormously.

As a test I hoovered our large rug in the dining room with the ‘beast’ (and with a clean filter) and it pulled up a fair bit after several goes over. Then on to the Shark, fresh out of the box and pristine. Well, there was dust and debris galore, even after a thorough clean with the Vax! Now, if I had another spare and clean filter and popped it in the Vax, I’m wondering if it would have pulled more dust up…but this fairly lighweight machine seemed to just suck it up.

Overall, it’s brilliant to use, all the tools stow on board (except the pet rotator) and all parts click off and on again. Today I did the stairs and utilised the lift away…it’s brilliant, and left my carpet pristine. The cable length is good, but I will have replug to my whole downstairs – not a problem.

As to the aesthetics – I’m in love with it, expecially the headlights!! It truly reminds me of something either futuristic, or harking back to mid century modern – either way it looks good! A five star review in all but one category from me – I found it to be a little heavier than I was expecting, but way lighter than the beast. I’m going to enjoy using it – I say go ahead and buy, it’s worth the money.

Bought this Hoover as I have always felt cordless vacuum hoover suction strengths are not the best and begin to fall away after some time.

I’ve had both dyson and shark cordless hand held hoovers for the past few years and although they are good and main benefit being cordless. After recently purchasing this Shark upright corded hoover I wish I never left corded hoovers. The amount of dust and particles it removed from my floor after first hoovering with my cordless hand held is incredible.

Its a little hard to push when max suction mode is selected, but for me this isnt an issue and only re-assures me that its doing a great job.

I recommend this to anyone especially because its reasonably priced and half the price of decent quality handheld cordless hoovers.

    Great Upright Hoover, Strong Suction.

Our latest vaccum cleaner it must be approaching 25 in the 34 years we’ve been married. Not as lightweight as expected, Awkward for the stairs in fact maybe the worst of the 25 The nozzle is not broad enough to deal with stairs. On the plus side easy to empty and I appreciate the little light in the front which lights up dark corners. I suspect with this product you pay for the name and other vaccume that are as good are cheaper.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAnd I don’t say that lightly. I’ve been a staunch lover of a cylinder style vacuum for years, but this one is lighter and easy to use for sure. The amount of S**** coming out of the carpets is a sign that it was time for a change. The thing I find a little frustrating is that because the machine is so light, it tends to be pulled over when you’re using the wand to do the stairs, upholstery etc and you’re in danger of dinging the paintwork on the stairwell etc because the machine base is pulled off it’s feet as is were. Also it tends to struggle with larger bits which it seems to push about before sucking them up, I’ve found you need to get the debris under the right part of the roller. (a little left or right of centre). As an upright though charging around the house it’s very good, the wiggly base thing is great once you’re used to it, it goes under furniture as it can lay completely flat and the muddiest rugs by our back door are considerably cleaner (but not for long!). Washing the filters is easy and it’s good to be able to see them and access them quickly so you know when it’s time. Emptying the canister is easy too and you do it after every use, partly out of shame, and partly so you know just how much you can get out of one teenager’s bedroom. Starting with an empty canister is an interesting test! So I like it, it doesn’t spend much time in the hall cupboard.

I can really recommend the Stark vacuum I bought a month ago. Great suction – sometimes too much, so I alter the suction slider on the handle, and on carpets occasionally use the hard floor setting! Works brilliantly. It is constructed very well, so everything gives a satisfying click when sections are put togethe

So powerful when we first got it I could not use it. I am a 39 year old chap who is fairly strong but the power of the suction was so great I could just about drag it over the carpet and lino even with the little suction reducer cranked. Thankfully now its got a bit of dust in the filters its actually usable and does a great job. Prehaps shark need to address this bit if you do get it maybe use the hose for a bit clean out under the sofa to choke it up a bit bwfore having a go at any flooring with a bit of give. Other thwn tjat its reasonable light, nice and compact and easy to use. One thing I do miss from th old model is the shoulder stap. But I would recomend.

Super powerful vacuum, love the idea of lift off to reach high & low. Great suction & dust/debris capacity. Cable’s a decent length, so don’t worry about reaching all the room. Great for carpets & tiled/wood floors. Love the lights on the front to highlight the ” tumble weed” dust/animal hair.

I thought all the features would be gimmicks but they’re brilliant. The lights on the front are great for seeing stuff I would usually miss on hard floors. The pull away has made doing the stairs so much easier. Detaching the hose is quick and easy to get into the corners and edges. All the pull away parts and hoses can be done from the normal standing position within touching distance of the handle, no more crouching down or spinning the vacuum round to detach parts. Extremely powerful too, I can’t push the hoover in MAX mode on carpet it’s too powerful but turn it down and it’s great, glides across the carpet whilst still picking everything up.

I hoovered with my original VAX hoover and then went back over it with the Shark and was both amazed and slightly disgusted by the amount of addition detritus that the Shark pulled up! The lift away function also means that I no longer have to lug a heavy machine up and down the stairs
Shark all the way for me from now on!!!

Can use in three modes. Normal cleaning for carpets and floors but watch setting or you wont be able to move it suction is that strong. Detach body from cleaner. Very lightweight to carry around. Use wand to reach under furniture, small spaces or high up like ceilings. Easy emptying and access to filters simple for recommended monthly clean. Super cleaner great value. I was going to get a replacement cleaner housing for my dyson but for 40 more I got a brand new superior cleaner. Also comes with free extensive guarantee.

I was stunned by what this device removed from my carpets, I could have weaved a whole new cat from the hair collected. I’d vacuumed with my trusty old Henry 2 days previously and did not expect to get so much dust and cat hair out of apparently clean carpets. It does not have the manoeuvrability or robustness of a Henry and having to move from the upright to wand extension to get around furniture is not ideal, but then this is an upright so that’s to be expected. I’m rejoicing that I no longer have to carry the Henry up and down stairs, but not sure that this one would survive the many falls down those stairs that Henry has endured.

I never thought I’d have a corded vacuum again, but after my cordless vacuum broke I decided to give Shark corded a go. What a difference! The suction power is amazing and I have to say put my old cordless to shame.
It took a while to get used to having a cord again and stairs were slightly difficult to begin with but now they are not a problem.
Now this is just my own personal opinion but I’ve sat and thought about the wisdom of battery vacuums and I realised for me it is not an environmentally sound prospect.
Your still using electricity to charge, but then you have the added expense of new batteries and their disposal. The power from the batteries is good but when you compare them to corded vacuums you realise they are quite poor. I think we’ve all bought into the whole ease of use angle and that’s a definite plus, but we are comprising on power and creating a battery waste mountain which the planet can longer sustain.

I have always wanted a shark vacuum and when this came up at a price i couldn’t miss i simply had to buy it. wow wow and wow!!! i couldn’t believe the dirt this picked up after i had vacuumed my carpet the day before with my usual one. I was totally impressed but shocked at the same time to see how much dust it lifted. It cleaned my stairs and car with ease as the lift away is so easy and light to use. the suction control is great as i struggled to push it along the carpet because the suction is so powerful, now i can control how powerful i want it to be from carpet to hard flooring. I love all the attatchments that come with it too. That is me hooked on shark vacuum cleaners and will never look back!

Very happy with this. Arrived very promptly and it’s a good vacuum for large areas (I wanted something that would reduce the time for the big areas- I’ve got cordless for corners and less accessible bits). Also seems to be resistant to hair trapping in rotor. Which is a definite plus as St. Bernard hair is a nightmare.

So as like many I read your reviews some good , some not so (was concerned it was heavy to use)
Well I was impressed, the suction on it is something else, but wow I couldn’t believe how dirty my floors were when I hoover every day sometimes 2/3 times as we have children and a dog, but the power of this hoover is just amazing picking up every little thing and bringing my carpet pile back to life too. You can alter the suction so you don’t always have to have it on full, It took literally seconds to put together and doing the stairs has never been so easy , being able to detach the body and carry it , also the main lead is so long you will think its cordless . Definitely recommend 100%

Finally purchased one of these vacuums after much umming and arrhing having been slightly put off by the review that suggested it was very heavy or hard to push around carpets . Well it’s no where near as bad as had been suggested, quite manoeuvrable with it’s twisting body motion. Yes the wheels are perhaps less effective than some vacs and might struggle a bit on deeper carpets? There are two settings to choose for carpets or hard flooring so that can affect how it easily operates as I discovered. So far then it’s great, very efficient in picking up stuff as going over our new carpet it filled the chamber up in no time with the excess fluff. Emptying it proves to be it’s main negative as it was difficult to clear out all the fluff, having to open both ends of the chamber which meant getting dust all over hands etc. Maybe it will take time to get used to that bit? The lights on the front are a novelty and will doubtless be useful in future in darker spots especially if theirs a power cut! (Joke 😀 ). So early days but I feel confident it’s a good investment.

    Brilliant vacuum.
Its tremendously powerful doing a great job of cleaning both hard wood floor and carpets. It also separates the floor/head unit from the rest, making it really light to carry for cleaning the stairs with the attached wand.
There are however two downsides. It has quite a small dust compartment so it needs to be empties quite frequently, and it can be a little harder to move on carpets than our previous one – requires a bit more ‘push’.
Overall though incredibly happy with this little vacuum. Its better than our old 450 Dyson and about one third the price.

It was easy to assemble, is straight forward to use and largely intuitive to use, has fantastic suction. Has good flexibility, canister comes off and makes cleaning the stairs simple, only issue is that it can be a bit tricky to reattach the canister to the base. It’s light and easy to manoeuvre. The lights on the base are helpful when cleaning.

I already had a Dyson V11 Absolute which cost me an arm and a leg (an eye watering 599 to be precise). I wanted a cheap vac as a backup and when I’m waiting for my Dyson to charge up. This Shark model is a Which Best Buy for 2021 so I decided to go for it as it was a reasonable 138. And OhMiGod I’m glad I did!

My first impression was that this thing SUCKS! And not in a bad way. I had hoovered with my Dyson the day before but the amount of hair and dust the Shark pulled out of my carpets was shocking – and that was on minimum suction. It also raised the pile on my 14 year old carpets – so much so they looked like they’d been professionally cleaned. It left lines in the pile and did such a thorough job on carpets I mistakenly thought were already clean.

The ‘lift away’ feature is fantastic and it so easy to unclip the wand and add the various alternative nozzles. The motorised mini brush head made short work of my stairs and it was easy to detach the wand to use on the odd cobweb in the corners of my ceilings.

It is not a particularly lightweight model but its certainly not excessively heavy. I have short pile carpets and with the suction on minimum it is easy to push. It is not even that hard on maximum and I have tennis elbow in both arms.

It was a bit hard to get used to having a cord again after the Dyson but its nice and long (8m) so I didn’t have to keep changing power sockets. It was good on my hard floors but where it really excelled was at cleaning up the carpets – in fact outstripping my Dyson.

In conclusion if I had the opportunity to go back in time I would have left the Dyson V11 at John Lewis and plumped instead for this Shark. And saved 461. I feel mugged off by Dyson – it just isn’t necessary to spend that kind of money for an excellent result. You live and learn!

Bought Shark because of their reputation. This was Really good value for money and is great on suction and maneuverability. Would defiantly recommend as suction is good on hard and carpeted floors and its very easy to assemble and empty. HOWEVER, be warned, it is NOT lightweight! And although its very easy to remove the ‘lift away’ section to do stairs etc, its this bit that’s heavy. The only other snag I’ve found is that although the handle allows you to flatten it to the floor level when vacuuming, the actual size of the canister is too big to fit under my settee! On the whole, great price…great product (with a few snags) and very pleased so far.

Love this hoover so easy to work, however it does take alot of pushing on our carpet I will have some guns after hoovering our house after a few months, if you don’t have the upperstrengh it maybe to hard for you to maneuver on carpet, it’s great how it lifts off and easy to carry and hoover the stairs ect. Would recommend and would buy again. It’s amazing to see the amount of dust and stuff that comes off the carpet, it’s a powerful, neat, easy to use lift off hoover.

    WORTH EVERY PENNY!
Gonna be honest I wasn’t keen on spending more than 100-120 in a Hoover – not exactly the excitement of my life, if so I thought. I live in a 2 bed townhouse with a dog and that photo is just from my bedroom, 2nd bedroom and one flight of stairs. I thought my house was super clean and now I’m disgusted at myself () but honestly guys, this Hoover if you have pets is incredible. I will say this though, the suction is so powerful that it’s a shoulder workout for sure (and I lift heavy weights!). So if you have injuries or are elderly I would handle with care or perfect choose a less powerful option. Other than that I’m so happy with this purchase and what do you know! Actually the excitement of my week (I’m officially middle aged now!) A+++

I never leave review last but this

I have kardean everywhere but small mats and two large rugs need hoovering most. The Shark tried to eat my mats, but was brilliant on the long pile rugs. I tried all the tools and lifting off the box section and it was really easy to use. Very happy with a ‘cheap’ useful tool that works very well. Thank you x

Very VERY powerful suction so some people will struggle pushing it because it sticks to the carpet a little but it does a FANTASTIC job of cleaning and a big capacity that’s easy to empty. Not so good on hard floors as the suction creates a seal on the lino. It is lightweight to carry though and I like how easy it is to unclick the handle either with or without the pole section do do high up or corners. A very good grown up vacuum! Paid 150 on offer and worth it at this price. Dyson who?…
Edit: 10 months on still love it! Really good on wood floors only lino that lifts that caused the problem. Newer carpet in my new place and it glides nicely it is thin worn out carpet that lifts and seals that causes the sticking problem. Still the best hoover i ever owned.

Amazing product. Didn’t know how bad our old hover was till this little beauti sucked everything up

Had the hoover 24hrs and so far so good, I though I had clean carpets until I got this and was shocked at how much it was sucking up.

The hoover is very powerful with great suction, I have to turn the suction settings down on certain carpets and rugs because it sticks to them like glue, i have 2 frenchies and this is perfect for pulling thier hairs up off the floor.

The quick release wand is hassle free and great for just releasing and getting in to those edges without faffing around.

Yet to use it in the lift away mode properly but it’s not as heavy as people moan about in other reviews.

All in all this is a great pet hoover, cheaper than other brands and has great sucking power, I’m impressed.

Really pleased with this purchase. It has good suction power and light enough to move from upstairs to downstairs.

Would have given 5 stars but for poor click on base attachment , it fell off while carrying upstairs and bounced all the way down to the bottom . Luckily it survived but from now on i take it up separately or while holding floor part underneath. The click in handle is not so strong either. Come on Shark surely you have some stronger springs you can use????.

Firstly full marks to the manufacturer for the packaging.
    All paper and card
This is the first appliance I’ve purchased that hasn’t had an obscene amount of plastic packaging so well done for that
The vacuum itself, looks to be pretty solid.
    Does what you’d expect.
The truth will be in its longevity or otherwise…will update !
Not particularly lightweight but handy that the cylinder comes off to use for stairs and it has a mega cable.
    So full marks for packaging
Loving the lights to show where I’ve missed haha
Let’s hope it lasts longer than the last few I’ve had

Light, easy to use, lots of suction. All features are better than my last vaccum cleaner. Lot less noisy than my Dyson.

My five year old Dyson literally fell apart and I heard good reviews about Shark and although pricey decided to take the plunge. Wow I am so glad I purchased this it’s amazing almost have to hold the rugs down when vacuuming as the suction power is awesome, we have a white haired dog so a decent vacuum is a must and this doesn’t disappoint getting into places my previous Dyson couldn’t easily reach also I love that it has lights on the head so you easily see into darker places! You get what you pay for and this is well worth the money, my only slight gripe is that it’s a little heavier then my Dyson but I’ll soon get used to that!

Didn’t realise how dusty my carpets really were! Not any more, though. I had a cordless Shark and it was brilliant, especially on hard floors, but the plug in is SO much stronger. Best vacuum I’ve owned. Small head gets in small spaces. The attachments fit to the unit so no stupid bag to carry around. The stairs are now a 5 minute job. Everything clicks in and out so comfortably. It’s not hard to push if you use it on the right settings. It does struggle in my vinyl floor which is not fully glued down, only the edges are and the suction is so strong it sucks right to it, but I use my cordless for that anyway.
Best vacuum I’ve had. I have fibromyalgia and my wrists are a big pain for me. I have not struggled with this at all and I’ve had it for about 6 months now. Everything about it is easy. The only annoying thing is that it does fall over when you’ve got the wand out but that’s because it’s light and I’d rather it be light than heavy. So just hold the handle or lay it down.
    Love this product.

Best hoover I have ever used! So lightweight, convenient, easy to use and comfortable. Cannot recommend this enough! I’ve suggested this to everyone I know that are looking to upgrade their hoover. My sons bedroom carpet used to take a good 25 mins with the pipe of different hoovers because it’s a difficult carpet, this hoover did it in less than 5 Mins. Absolute Best Buy!

Just love my new cleaner and what a difference it has made to my life! No more unplugging and plugging in because of short leads – this one I can plug in in my hall and it goes everywhere in the bungalow. It is very lightweight and very easy, particularly for me as I am older, to use on the stairs. It easily moves from carpet to floor with excellent suction power. Don’t know why I waited so long to change from my old cleaner to this lovely Shark cleaner. Would strongly recommend you take the plunge too!!

Sooooo pleased with my Shark. I have used Dyson’s for years. However the motor on the cordless models burn out very quickly. The expense of a cordless Dyson to a mains electric Shark – there is no comparison. I live in a flat, I have marble tiles and carpet. The cable length enables me to move easily from room to room. It is also light but not the flimsy feel of a Dyson. Love it.

Fantastic vacuum. Really powerful and great how it comes apart to do stairs etc. Only downside is that it’s actually too powerful for some of my carpets, even on the lowest suction.

I finally convinced my husband that it was time to change our vacuum cleaner .. . . . the previous one still worked, he liked it but I hated it! I wanted one that really didn’t give me a headache because of its noise levels – and I’ve got it now!

This is much lighter, easier for me to use, versatile and so powerful. The only drawback is that power – it makes it near impossible to use on things like bath mats but superb on fitted carpets, tiles and laminate flooring. The associated tools are easily changed and make it appropriate for most tasks, it lifts away from the base to make using it on the stairs simple. It is easy to empty the container, though we’re getting better at devising a way to ensure all debris is cleared as some initially tended to be left behind. The filters are easily accessible and simple to rinse out, dry and refit. Best of all is that I no longer feel the need to vacate our home when the hoover is in use! So far we’re very happy with it and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone without lots of little rugs or mats in their home.

Well, we have had Dyson’s, Vax’s and the latest Henry but this beats them all. Amazing suction, nearly pulled the cushion flooring up on maximum suction, very light and manoeuvrable. Great stuff, and a price that doesn’t break the bank. Checked out Which’s top ten vacuum cleaners, and this was number one. I can see why. We haven’t used the ‘lift away’ feature because just releasing the wand has been enough. I would thoroughly recommend this. Henry now lives in the garage. Sad!!!

It is possibly the most powerful vacuum cleaner I’ve ever owned. After the demise of our second cordless machine I decided to go back to one that you actually have to plug in! Yeah I know!
It does the job exceptionally well and as I said it really is powerful. The ‘lift away’ bit is handy for doing the stairs and the flex is ample long enough to go outside to vacuum the car.
However, despite its magnificent sucking it is quite a heavyweight machine, it’s like doing a workout without going to the gym! I am not a delicate flower but I find it hard to push especially on carpet with a flat pile. Thankfully there is a max – min switch so that makes it a lot easier to handle. Another thing that would’ve been great is if it had a large flat head to attach to the wand when using the lift away function.
That being said, it is an extremely good vacuum cleaner so don’t let my whingeing put you off.

Just switched from a leading brand vacuum to this one.

I’ll be honest and say yes it’s very heavy to manoeuvre but it’s possibly down to the suction power.

I’ve just done the vacuum of our living room, can I say as we have two small fluffy dogs we vacuum regularly, this was the result – I had no idea how dirty our carpets really were.

I’m absolutely delighted with our shark!

    Ditch those weights!

Quite pleased with this appliance though have only had it a couple of weeks. Good that it has a swivel head which fits easily into corners. Better than my original upright Hoover. Took me a while to get to grips with how it works. Useful being able to use it on the stairs without dragging the whole cleaner up the stairs. The dust container I felt was a bit small and needed emptying fairly frequently but I had been shredding and each time I emptied the shredder I had lots of bits to pick up from the floor. Maybe this wasn’t the best use of this new cleaner.

The suction on the vacuum is amazing. If you are having a problem hoovering – its probably because you have it on high suction. Low/medium suction is perfect.

    Delighted with this vacuum cleaner.
I had heard from friends how good Shark vacuums were, so after my old faithful cleaner finally got beyond economical repair I went for this one.
I’m so glad I did because it’s just a neat well made product. Manoeuvrability is a dream, it’s so quiet that it doesn’t even bother the two cats I have. (These two are why I need a good vacuum cleaner!)

Suction I found like others have mentioned, that sometimes it’s very hard to push.
I found that going against the pile of the carpet is a not a good idea. Impossible to push it.
Turn it around and go the other way and it works as it should and so much easier although judders a bit when pulling it back on full suction, reducing this strong suction on the handles little push/pull switch resolves the judder.
The spare tools that come with it are good and using it on the stairs is so much easier for me now with just the turbo brush attached and the unit lifted away from the big main rotary brush.
Everything comes apart and clicks back into place easily, emptying the cleaner is a dream too, and if it looks a little dusty inside, a rinse under the tap, left to dry for a while then it’s good as new for next time.
I’m made up with it and can only recommend Shark
Carpets look superb after using it.

Well I can not believe I’ve waited this long to purchase this product!! Absolutely brilliant does as described my bedroom carpet has been back to life so much so that ensuite toilet door now drags when opened. Suction is very fierce indeed, but gives you a good work out.

Does feel abit heavy and sorry to say the base when emptying into bin was too wide for bin so gave myself another job. Easy to put together too. Just glad I don’t have to carry up any stairs.

Very happy and would definitely buy agai

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy last vacuum lasted 17 years. I was very loyal to that company because of it but when I went online to purchase another I couldn’t justify the prices. I looked around, saw all the reviews of this product and took a gamble. I LOVE IT!
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to write reviews … I didn’t have time to browse for hours and had to rely on other people’s genuine reviews, so here’s my input.
This vacuum is excellent. I’ve given it 5 stars, not just for the product but the quick delivery, great packaging and an easy transaction. I thought the floor was clean until I used this vacuum, the lights help see in darker places (no surprise there!) and this has been a huge help. The design is really impressive, being able to take the lighter part to do the stairs means I no longer have to haul a vacuum with me.
I’d read one or two negative reviews and the main complaint was that the suction was too strong. It isn’t too strong for me and I’ve arthritis and back issues. This vacuum is lightweight, easy to use, versatile and I am delighted with it and have no problem giving it 5stars.

Had dysons for several years but decided on a change, the vacuum is amazing! The carpets are actually lifted when you Hoover and the amount of muck that comes out of the carpet is disgusting and we are house proud! The power is unbelievable! My husband is going round hoovering to his hearts content as he finds it so exciting! My husband prefers an upright where as I prefer a cylinder and this shark keeps us both happy. It’s so easy to do the stairs and sofa etc by removing the container from the upright part…..the only thing I would say is in our bedroom the carpet is thick pile and I personally found it hard to push but my husband was fine with it. You will not go wrong with one of these, it is my husbands new toy!
