Buttons are a bit fiddly (they need a really firm press to operate) but don’t let that put you off. The blue timerclock light shines really bright in the dark. Nothing wrong with this little gem, it’s ideal for a single person with a small kitchen.
After just over a year the display went on my previous microwave and was always a little complex to work, having to press a lot of buttons, when all i wanted was 7 minutes on high.
This thing has two dials, one for power level and one for time, you cant go wrong. 1000w means it can turn most foods to a smouldering heap pretty quickly.
Hopefully this lasts a bit longer than the last one.
The microwave is a little gem. It heats quickly and consistently. With a range of ways to follow pictures and diagrams on the buttons that are all quite logical.
My only dislike is the glass plate does not lock on the turner mechanism in the middle too well. Meaning that when you take food out you often dislodge the turning plate and need to sit it back on for next time. Only a little problem I know but could do with fixing on the next model.
The heating levels are effective. My only issue is with the timer. It’s a low-tech dial which has to be turned manually and it is virtually impossible to determine any duration under one minute. As a result you can’t just set it for 30 seconds and walk away. You must remain on guard not to over heat your food.
No added features you never use, just straightforward, stylish and easy to use!
Must be my time for dying electricals, replaced a sparking microwave, this one is easy to set up and set the timer works very well
Easy set up, no need to waste money leaving the clock on. Just turn it on select power Level, select required minutes or seconds then press start. Preset menus are easy to use too.

Very pleased with this microwave oven, it is stylish with plenty of features and works well. The price paid was very fair and it was delivered on time.
Smaller in size and slightly lighter in weight. Quiet and not so load ping. Light only comes on when in use so you can leave the door open to dry out the inside. Its very dark so cant see any splashes on the inside. Always cover food to avoid moisture build up.
I think it had been dropped as it doesn’t stand flat. It’s working and I have already waited 5 weeks for it. Nothing fancy basic microwave.

I should have bought at the supermarket, better value, and my complete wait (ALL DAY) could have been uesed sensibly.

Quite small, definitely no good for large family unless only heating drinks, soup etc. No large dinner plate fits. Okay just me. Instructions on microwave small writing, but all in all suits me fine. Price and delivery was good
As a trusted brand I’d hoped to get an easy to use, decent quality and adequately powered microwave oven, what I got was all of those and far better than I imagined it could be. The mechicsl timer is quite precise, with easy to understand markings and graphics. Good instructions always a help, here again Sharp are spot on. Used predominantly for re-heating, but occasionally for defrosting and poaching, this oven is excellent at all these operations.

Very satisfied. Does everything a small microwave should do. No dislikes at all apart from the door catch being a little stiff. Good value. Arrived safely and on time.
The black one lasted me around about 3 years due too leaving the door open after cooking and the back window opened a tad. I add too put it out for scrap yesterday minus the plug. As it was extremely dangerous too use and was turning into a rust bucket inside. A few weeks before I noticed brown specks. I guessed it was Rust on the newspaper it was standing on, on the kitchen table. I was still cooking food it upto a week before. It looked ok inside. I didn’t notice any signs of rust appearing. Tuesday it didn’t. Cook my microwave oven readymade macaroni cheese dish. It seemed too be cold. Hot underneath the plastic dish. And I don’t know about the small fly that fled in beforehand. Source me leave the door open a tad after cooking too let the steam dissipate. It saves you keep buying a new microwave oven every 12 months, or less. Found this method out by accident. Nothings ever mentioned in the microwave instructions books about this old method of mine. I Even posted it on Facebook.
It does make a lot of condensation, so needs wiping out after each use to prevent rust, but other than that a great addition to the kitchen and we’re fairly happy with it.
Missing one star as it doesn’t fit a standard dinner plate and has the option to heat a dinner plate.

Sturdy, doesn’t slip around on the worktop and is compact but can fit in normal plates etc. Controls are simple, xo overall a good buy.
Very easy to use and a big improvement on my 30+ year old Sanyo that finally gave up the ghost. Only criticism is that the light doesn’t go out at the end of cooking and the door left open. I always preferred to leave the door open so condensation dried away but with the light on I’m forced to close the door otherwise the 25watt bulb is a drain on my electric bill.
It does everything it should, properly. Looks good, works well and it’s a Sharp. Oh, and great value! Rob 🙂

Well made, easy to clean. Difficult to time accurately, (not a digital clock) so best to use for basic cooking and reheating.
Innocuous build and design, so it’s unobtrusive, and same size as the one it replaces. However, unlike its predecessor it’s rather over-engineered, and the display is very poor – it really should be back-lit. However, for the present it’s good value for money.
Having had my old microwave since 1978 I was in floods when it eventually gave up the ghost. Minefield chosing a replacement. It’s OK but definitely not as well made as my old one!
