I’ve had this for a few weeks now, it’s a sleek looking microwave without unnecessary functions. It just does what you expect, quietly.
I was really impressed with the quality & ease of use. Great finish & definitely worth the money – like it so much buying one for myself.
This was ordered in error as once it arrived we realised that it did not have the grill.
Otherwise it was as expected when buying kitchen white goods that are pretty well established items. Would be nice if a Microwave Cook book could be included. Overall, it would do what it says in the box.
It is big enough to put a usual big plate inside and tall enough to get a full chicken (but a bit tight to put also a microwave cover on the big ones).
The time control a bit weird at first, but you get the trick very soon.
Need to press the microwave button on every use which is a bit annoying. Otherwise good value for the price.

The timing knob is not very easyto read as unlike my old micro the time intervals are not consistent with the actual time but get narrower in space as they elapse.
It’s a microwave – it heats stuff up – and does it very well.

When my previous microwave stopped working I searched around for the best price replacement with easy to use dials and a defrost setting. This Sharp microwave works really well.
I like how unobtrusive it is and that there are no superfluous controls. Easy to use and clean.
Minor drawbacks- the button to open the door is a bit difficult sometimes. Reading the timing button not so easy.
The drawbacks are largely because I am 75 and have arthritis. Younger folk will not find them a problem

I’m really pleased with this microwave so far so all fingers crossed that I feel the same way in six months time. At present I’m delighted at how precise it is and how easy it is to moderate the power. I purchased my previous microwave a couple of years ago and at that time the range for small size on offer was extremely limited and what I purchased proved to be a poor choice. Much more on offer now and I am much happier with this oven.

Does exactly what I bought it for viz: heating up meals and defrosting frozen food. I probably wont be using all the different programs. It is marginally smaller than the one I had before but my dinner plates fit in (just).
All in all a good investment for the price.
Having been used to a good but less powerful machine that was smaller this microwave has become a firm favourite – it looks good and have had no problems with it – where I was having to cook some things separately before now I can cook more in because of the larger size.

This is very good value for money with a defrost ability on one side and cooking the other. Unfortunately there is no light when you open the door so replacing the plate after washing can be a bit hit and miss

No bank of buttons like it’s mission control, two knobs dead simple, why did manufacturers ever have to try and improve on perfection.
As the oven is small you have to be careful that you don’t bring the turntable out with your dish. Otherwise easy to use and works well. Quick delivery.
So pleased with my new microwave. My previous one was always swimming in water under the plate. this new one stays dry. all good features. The defrost particulary good.
This is a basic microwave oven that does the job and is value for money. Easy to use, no fiddling with a lot of buttons. Fits into a small space so does not clutter the kitchen worktop.
I purchased this item during the black Friday deal so it was rather cheap. The product is a nice size and is easier to use. It has the features that I was looking for as well as a few others. The product itself is smaller than the previous one I had but that suits me fine.
Have been using this Microwave for quite a while now and love to bits once I get used to all the settings

It works fine. It’s a reasonable price. However, 1 – everything I do in there leaves a lot of wetness which needs wiping out, Far worse than any other microwave I have ever had. 2 – although easy enough to use, the controls are not backlit so you can’t read the except in good light.
I wanted a simple microwave as I only use it for defrosting rice or heating up soup occasionally.
The only issue is if you want it for a short time like 30 sec you’ll have to set the timer over 1,2 min and you open the door to stop.
It’s quite small inside so I can’t fit a dinner plate but I knew before buying it and I don’t need to do it so that’s not issue (just for your reference).

Very happy with this microwave. You can see through the front window as it is cooking.
Ist one turntable went wrong within a few weeks, on second unit now so waiting to see how long this one lasts, Other thing the control buttons are quite hard tp push, and would recommend that they fit a control panel thats lights up as is difficult to see if in a darkish area.
It s simply amazing, easy to use, to clean.

I have no complaints with the action of the microwave but I have only had it for a couple of months and there is definitely a discoloration developing in between the glass panes on the door which I cannot remove. I would probably not buy this product again.
Bought for pensioner to use. Working well although markings are a little small for older eyes.
A bit smalled than the predecessor and the glass plate inside is easy to knock out of mounting and then fiddly to get back. Overall, good but feels cheaper then our older version of this model
Needed a simple control microwave with same controls as my old one so that my husband with brain injury would be able to use it. Works fine.
Pretty good microwave for the value, heats up food well, compact and well designed for those that want a standard microwave without the additions of fancy grills and oven facilities. Only down side is that the knob (time) does occasionally get stuck when u only want heat for 20 sec or so the bell doesn’t always ring. Apart from that it’s pretty good and does what it suppose to do.
Wanted a simple Microwave, this one ticked all the boxes and at a reasonable price. Can’t fault it so far.
It’s smaller than the microwave I’ve had in the past, but works perfectly well. My large dinner plates still fit in it, it warms up fast with a fairly powerful 800watts. Plenty of options to choose from, warming up food, defrosting etc it does all that it says. Very convenient in a busy household with children.
This microwave was purchased to replace one that had to be discarded due to the level of rusting. I was keen to find one that had no enamel and this one is all stainless steel.
So far it appears to be very good. It is quite powerful at 900 w and the settings are very simple to use, also easy to clean.
My only criticism is that it would have been useful to have a cookery book and better instructions on use.
I like this microwave oven because it’s just a simple operation switch. only the power levels and times switch. Easy to use and easy to cleaning. The price is okay.
But I don’t like that light in the microwave, it’s dark when you open the door. the light only be turned on during work. this funtion is not good.

Looks good in my kitchen so easy to use even the wife got its control’s first time, and that’s a miracle.
I needed a relatively small microwave because the kitchen didn’t hade much room for it and this is absolutely ideal and does the job!
Nice reasonably priced microwave. Easy to use and quite stylish. My only problem is it is smaller than I thought but that was my fault for not checking the exact size when ordering. Just about fits in a good size dinner plate but nothing bigger than that.
This microwave is a night mare it’s constantly full of water in the bottom after use, so after use I have to wait till the next day for it to all run down sides
I like the fact that the inside is dark grey, plenty of room for larger plates

A very good product but why do I have to select microwave first then select the option over oven and all the others. I bought a microwave so this should be the default. Next will the tech team at Sharp will default WiFi enabled as the default. Good product team, but less is more – more or less…

Basically this product is very good, looks very good and works well. My only criticism is that there are no half minute marks so if you want say 3 and a half minutes you have to guess.
I got this microwave as a replacement for an old one that was wearing out and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something that doesn’t get used very often.And this Sharp microwave fits the bill very well it’s basic it doesn’t have a display just a nob but if you want to defrost anything it does the job very well,it’s also well made and unlike some of the none brand stuff out there you can tell it’s a quality bit of kit.So if you are looking for a small cheap microwave (it would be perfect for students) you can’t go far wrong with this.
Arrived as promised, in good condition and is a basic microwave as expected. Down sides are s no display so you cant select accuracy how long it will be on for i.e. lots of items require 50 seconds or 1 minute 20 seconds, you cant tell as no display.
It is on the small side, OK to heat up a cereal bowl sized dish or a smaller dinner plate but would not be big enough for larger dishes or plates.
This is nice, it looks good and is easy to use, you can just press the start button and it jumps in 30 second intervals or you can easily set it for different time settings, by just pressing a button. Its easy to clean and very nice.
Bought this to replace our old microwave which had given up the ghost. It’s smart looking and does the job. Only complaint would be that the buttons are difficult to see if your eyesight isn;t great. They are tiny and very dark.

I bought this for my 96 yr old mother-in-law after her previous microwave stopped working. Due to covid, I couldn’t go over to try and fix it so ordered this one with just the 2 dials to operate it as a replacement.
Ordered on the Saturday morning and delivered on the following Monday morning (premium delivery paid for due to urgent requirement).
The couriers who delivered it deserve praise for quickly unpacking it and lifting it onto the shelf in the kitchen (My Hermes).
Mother-in-law was able to use it immediately without instruction which shows how simple it is to use.
I’ve been using it from 2 days! Nice design, small size and powerful, Less functions than a digital one( obviously). Can’t expect more for that price! I hope it will last a long time!
My quibble with this microwave is that it appears to take longer to heat food up than 800w microwaves that I have used in the past. The door-release button is also a bit temperamental, in that about 35% of the time its pressed it does not release the door catch. That said the microwave is nicely finished and easy to use, the latter being an important consideration for me.
This Microwave was purchased as a general cooking device; it replaced a Panasonic digital microwave. I chose a manual microwave this time due to its ease of operation; no more dabbing through endless options. The power level is set to High mostly, and it remains set; with digital you have set the power level every time. Most often it is simply one twist of the timer knob to the proper cooking time and thats it! It could not be simpler.
I also like it that the interior light only comes on while the food is cooking, otherwise it is off. This is good because you can leave the oven door open to let steam and condensation disperse without burning the interior bulb pointlessly. The previous microwave came to grief through rusting due to condensation.
DEFROST: the scale is graduated by weight, which is not always helpful when you are defrosting foods you have frozen yourself; you may not know what the weight actually is. Proceed by short times and see how the food is defrosting bit by bit; there are kitchen scales of course!
This is a good microwave cooker.
It’s a reasonable size, fits perfectly with other kitchen furniture. And was a described well not to noisy and good value for money.
I initially ordered a 20 L microwave and realised I did not read the reviews. Within 10 minutes I cancelled the order and reordered a 25 L (as the 23 L) was not in the correct colour. Oh boy. Poor Amazon deliverer who had to come down 10 concrete steps to the house. It was sooo big and heavy. Bless, he was brilliant.
It’s biggest microwave I have ever had. I have tested it to make sure it works. Thank goodness it does, I would not want to have to return it. However, I love it and got in during the sale at 22 less so I cannot complain.
Bought to replace a 10 year old microwave. Went for the 25L so larger dinner plates would fit in it. As its 900w and new, cooks far quicker than the last machine. Looks good, reasonable quiet.
I had a Sharp Carousel microwave for years, which is why I replaced it with another Sharp. This one is more complicated to use but I’m getting there! As a straight forward microwave it works well, looks good in my kitchen and was good value for money.
Quite a practical design, works well, the only let down so far is the length of the mains cable. The instructions tend to discourage the use of extension cables, but the shortness of the cable makes this impossible.
I do not like it as much as my former Sharp microwave. I would prefer to have a seconds option and also a timer, as the old model. I am a bit disappointed as I expected it to have these features. Perhaps I chose the wrong model and therefore have only myself to blame, I just don’t find it as user friendly.
Really pleased with this, this was a replacement for a more expensive model and we have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and the ease of use. Power is spot on and it’s a nice size sitting on a standard worktop with as much presence as a 4 slice toaster. Would buy another.
Big, roomy and powerful – also like the nice blue clock!! Works really well and doesn’t have the idiotic grill thing built in (just a good powerful microwave oven) – nice!
The oven does not take up much room on the kitchen counter. It has a maximum output of 900W, so cooking times are fast. It is easy to program. The food is properly cooked. The oven suits our needs and is a good buy for us.
There isn’t much to say about the microwave apart from it represents good value and is basic and very easy to use.
It’s nice to have a device with all of the bells and whistles and a plethora of functions but I’ve had 4 devices in the last 6 years with prices ranging between 60.00 and 200.00 and they all stopped working or developed control pad/button faults.
The microwave works fine, but I’m only giving 3 stars for ease of use, because the numbers on the dial are difficult for me to see. I think that if the numbers were bigger then it would be greatly improved.
This microwave is the best you can get for the money. It is made by a reputable brand SHARP and so the quality is not questionable. Its very easy to use. It also looks good. The only problem I see is that its a little bit small. The size is just enough to fit a regular dinner plate with no room for anything large
I purchased this microwave oven to replace one that we have had for several years that was showing signs of wear. If all you want is a basic microwave then the Sharp YC-MS01U-W 20 L 800W version is perfect for the job. It is very easy to use, easy to keep clean and produces excellent results. Good quality item and great value for the money paid.
The microwave itself looks very stylish, maybe I would have picked a different colour of the enamel. I like that the timer can be set by 10s increments and the microwave can be stopped at any time. Most microwaves in this price range have 30s increments timer.
For someone who wants a small, simple but efficient microwave to heat up ready-meals, soup etc this is ideal. It’s so simple to use, with only two knobs to set and do the whole process. I would have liked the light to stay on when you open the door to take something out, however. I would rate it 4.5 stars.
My 88 year old father needed a new microwave. He lived on microwave meals. He cannot cope with anything digital and I needed to find something with ‘buttons and knobs’ and found this one. Looks really good, he found it easy to use and does what it says on the can really
Replacing a very old model I had, is more powerful wattage, so far so good. No negative comments to make at this time, except that I originally ordered this model in silver, it did not arrive and was given a refund so thanks for that.
This arrived in good time and well packaged.it is nice colour and easy to use only issue i have no where does it state anything about guarantee nothing on paperwork. I have gone on sharp website and model number does not come up so cannot register it.
Good large interior at 25 litres. Simple key pad operation, only bad thing I’ve found so far is that I cannot heat up on a basic 10 seconds cooking cycle
It is set at a default 30 seconds, otherwise it’s all good.
Only downside is one of the Lead’s for the timer has gone so can’t see time properly
This microwave is smart in looks and easy to use.
I use it mostly for warming up food, so cant comment on its other features.
I can fit my extra large dinner plate in there with ease too. I recommend this produc

I’m very happy with the item, roomy inside and looks great. Easy to clean and sleek outside. Also easy to use once you get used to it, didn’t take long! Nice loud bleep to tell you it’s done and then one later bleep to remind you if you’ve left anything inside. I’d be happy to recommend it.
