Great machine
Only thing that would make it better is if it was made of the same material as the kettle and toaster.
It works
This makes great espresso with one click.
The self cleaning regime at switch on and off seem to keep everything in good order.
You can make adjustments and if you want froth your milk.
It’s expensive but looks good and most importantly it does what it says on the box.

Purchased a month ago, we use only for espresso we drink around 10 cups a day so it gets a lot of use.
We’ve had no issues and love this machine so far!

This product requires a firmware update
Love this product, makes excellent hot coffee and looks fabulous, isn’t too loud and is quick from bean to cup. Bought from here in 01/22 and unfortunately had to send back in 05/22 for a Smeg Firmware update due to a known issue with the coffee grounds indicator constantly being on – a quick google search brings up an online form to request a work order. Having to reset it after every coffee was painful. Took about 4 weeks to sort mainly due to their chosen courier company being unreliable. Now working again perfectly fine – fingers crossed. Something to definitely consider though. Hopefully newer stock will have received this update. Lots of pros to this machine, only con is that coffee does spit onto the kitchen counter on each use so needs wiping every time.
Wonderful.
It’s great. My only problem is that the directions don’t address the time elements. There’s a process here and much whirring and shrieking until the actual process starts. So I actually thought it was broken on first use. Daily use, and now accustomed to its idiosyncrasies, it’s first rate.

Great machine. Easy to use and does what it says on the tin. Had a problem with mine after four months when coffee/water came out of the bottom rather than through the spout. Amazon gave me a refund. I’m in the process of ordering another. I hope that the fault mentioned above was just a one off.
