I wanted a simple, easy-to-use, and cheaper computer for basic use.
This product does all I want.
The setup was easy after unboxing. It did need a few Windows updates which took some time but that is down to Microsoft so it cant be helped. But once windows had updated it works great. Ok so not the fastest but it does what I want it do to.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOverall I’m impressed. It costs about 100 more than a copy of windows OEM software – it was too good to miss. I drive two 4k monitors via HDMI and am well impressed with domestic applications. It doesn’t run too warm and the first thing I did was add a 1TB Crucial SSD. Fitting it was as easy as opening a box. But any SSD must be formatted before use. Crucial has a downloadable free tool.

I only have one gripe. If I have an external USB external drive that crashes the wireless modem. This is because the drive takes its power from the PC USB port and probably draws too much current.

Solution – run all the USB stuff via a powered USB hub. Also, running the internet via an ethernet cable is perfect.

The PC comes with Win 11 preloaded and just needs a bit of setting up, again no great drama.

Don’t rely on the built-in Wireless modem if you are any distance from your access point as there are no external antennae – it’s all built-in. Use Ethernet instead. Or an external USB modem with a rubber duckie external whip.

In conclusion for typical household applications, I would buy it again. It would also be suitable for home business day-to-day use too. I can’t comment on its use with more memory-hungry software or high graphics games as it’s not used for that.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI needed a small low-power computer to run a Home Assistant server for the house (monitoring out power usage, controlling heating, etc) and took a punt on this.

I installed a second SSD hard drive (super-easy and not at all technical – there’s an instruction video on this product page) to run Home Assistant OS and kept the original Windows installation in case we need a backup Windows computer.

It isn’t the fastest Windows machine in the world, but it’s more than capable of running MS Office, Chrome, etc.

The setup instructions were inadequate as setup can only be achieved through a lan connection, not a WiFi connection, as stated.

The long term functionality of the pc is yet to be assessed. The seller has however subsequently provided a followup customer service to ensure that the product was performing adequately, providing advice and additional software to ensure such. An extension to the standard warranty was also provided.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersMy wife’s previous PC had gotten very noisy since upgrading it from Windows 7 to 10, and cleaning out the dust had not improved it. I had looked at mini PCs before but had reservations about them. Looking at the specs of the latest mini PCs I felt that the time had come to replace the old system with one of these. The model that I chose looked like particularly good value coming with Windows 11 Pro and 8GB of RAM. Indeed the sellers must have thought it was under priced, as they have subsequently increased the price by about 30. The PC is in my opinion well designed, having a pleasing appearance and a good selection of connectors. I was able to easily connect all the existing peripherals from the old system including the VGA monitor, and in addition there are 2 HDMI connectors making it possible to connect a total of 3 screens. There are 4 USB sockets which should be enough for most people given that these systems are aimed at users with modest requirements. 2 USB slots will be needed for keyboard and mouse, or just one for a keyboard mouse combo. Windows setup is as normal. I have a Fujitsu mini PC from the days of Windows Vista. This new mini PC is much more compact, has better connectivity, and the mains power unit is about the same size as a phone charger rather than a small brick. The system can be expanded by adding a 2.5 inch SSD inside the case, and a video is available showing this simple procedure. Alternatively a portable hard drive or similar could be added externally. I must admit that I find the range of PC processors available these days to be rather baffling and only have a limited understanding of how the J4125 might compare with the others, but 2.4 to 2.7 Ghz seems like a reasonable speed. The mini PC is fitted with a small cooling fan, but is very quiet in operation. I feel confident that the mini PC will meet my wife’s simple requirements for web browsing and watching Youtube videos.

I bought this to replace a dying old tower. Being used as a database server, an imap server a file share and remote connect via citrix on 2 hd monitors. Does all this without any trouble.

I added an additional SSD driver which was easy to install. Graphics seem good though I have not tested anything more that full screen HD.

New versions of programs would not work on my old pc, but they work on this mini pc, it has the hardware requirements for blender 3d, adobe photoshop and many other programs, I am happy I bought it, I got it for 172 euros, windows 10 was on it, I complained that it did not have windows 11, so they then sent me links to windows 11 pro and how to download it, I have it installed now with windows 11 pro, which is better than windows 10

    Good points.
    1. A bit smaller than I was expecting.
    2. Looks cool, apart from the ugly legacy VGA port. It’s 2022, guys. Should have left it off.
    3. It’s not totally silent, but as near as.
    4. The VESA bracket works perfectly and hides it nicely, although it’s pretty enough to be on show.
    5. Installing an additional 2.5″ drive is a little bit fiddly, but it’s a mini-PC. Literally plug n play. Everything is already there. Cradle data and power cable.
    6. Setup was problem free. Not a single hitch at any stage. Wi-Fi connection first time. No adjustment to monitor display.
    7. Other network devices found. Drivers installed without problems. Including BT.
    8. Quick and responsive to individual tasks.
    9. Streamed music via Spotify to various speakers in the house.
    10. Great value on offer.
    Not so good points
    1. It does struggle when multitasking, but I didn’t buy it for such. I wanted something small but powerful enough for basic browsing, emails, and simple spreadsheets.

Great little bit of kit. Let’s hope it stays so.

Update: since installing W10 updates, it’s definitely slowed down, but still perfectly useable. I will probably roll back to original install. Still happy with unit.

4.0 out of 5 stars So far, so good

Bought this for my son to do his schoolwork on and it’s perfectly quick and up to the task. Easy to install and runs as expected. Not tried this for gaming but not intended for this use so can’t comment on that. Good value for money.

This mini PC is a little gem.
It works absolutely fine, it is capable or running Windows 10 and it is virtually silent.
Personally I’m using it to run my entire home automation using Homeassistant and it works absolutely fine.
    I highly recommended it.

So far this unit has worked very well and was very easy to set up.
Was simple to add an SSD drive and although not the fastest PC I`ve had it does everything I need it to.
Will be interesting to see how well it performs over time, but no complaints so far.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorks perfectly for a Home Assistant hub. Have paired with a Sonoff Zigbee USB and installed a 60GB SATA SSD and runs silently and without hassle. Briefly booted into windows on the installed drive but now running from the SSD I installed, just changing the boot drive from the BIOS.

No complaints for running Home Assistant OS.

I was impressed with the fact that it runs just like an ordinary full size pc, provided that it’s not loaded with too much stuff, it’s excellent as a secondary pc to have at a convenient location just to browse the web and to run a bunch of programs. The only snag is that there’s is not facility on the motherboard boot program to disable wake-on-LAN.

To be fair I wasn’t expecting much. Windows 10 pre-installed so easy enough to get started. I’m only using it to stream media from and it handles 4K content very easily with no issues. Plex owner’s dream.

Fan can be a little noisy, apparently can be fixed by checking the amount of thermal paste but I don’t intend on bothering – it’s not too bad if you like your content loud.

This is an excellent and tiny bit of kit. It doesn’t purport to be a gaming PC or handle intensive memory work, but for most needs spanning use of MS Office – Word, Excel, PPT; browser-based apps, online meetings and surfing; TV streaming etc, it is very effective. If you are moving between work locations where you have monitors, headphones and keyboards in place, it is great. I am either at home, at a weekend place, or staying with an elderly parent, and have set-ups at each, so this is all I need to take with me. There is periodic light fan noise but not intrusive enough to affect meetings.
It is Win10 OS and I had a problem setting up my MS account PIN, but there is a work around that by doing the initial set up without WiFi connection; it feels like it won’t work but it does, and the WiFi connection can be added subsequently to complete the set up.
The seller was great too – responsive and even offered to pay for a power lead which I had lost.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis mini pc is very good for all-round general purpose use. You can do browsing and run low demanding games smoothly without problem and it connects to the Wi-Fi router perfectly fine, it takes little space and has a compact build so it’s an exceptional choice for minimalists. To add on, it is surprisingly good for its price and has 4 USB ports. It already has all the necessary parts built in so there is no need to buy any extra parts. It really helps with saving money and works well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Minimalist PC

Not recommended for gaming or heavy lifting but this is a nice wee pc that runs Linux Mint a dream given it has only 4 gig memory. Apart from that I’m beginning to detest Microsoft Windows and ridding all my computers of this bloated god awful OS.

Given the cost of energy these days this machine consumes very little and is best used for email and web browsing

I purchased this along with a cheap touchscreen monitor, to sit on top of a basic digital piano. With this setup, I can use pdf music instead of books, use programs such as Audacity to record music, and follow tutorials on YTube etc – but with better visibility (and cheaper) than via a tablet. The mini pc has been perfect for this. Not sure how it would cope with gaming, but it is fine for music and basic streaming services.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis tiny machine blew me away when I saw it for the first time. It looked amazing with its copper mesh trim and a comprehensive set of connectors.
On powering up it went into a typical Windows 10 setup routine but froze at the point when it wanted to set a pin code. I had to crash out of the routine by powering down and then restarting. At this point I discovered that the user “manual” was completely useless ..
Fortunately I have worked with computers since the 1970’s when they took up a huge space … were programmed with punched cards, and were just as pernickity as the PC’s of today. So I have the necessary patience to “fiddle” so by skipping the section where the pin was entered I got it going at last.
This is definitely NOT a machine for beginners, but once set-up is a joy to use. It is VERY quick. I’m not a gamer, I mostly use my pc for graphics and video where speed of memory and raw processing speed make a real difference, and this pc excels.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersInstructions almost non existent. Fan not loud but can be annoying when it kicks in. Easy to install 2.5 solid state memory from instructions but no mention of configuring.
    Windows 11 compliant.
But better than my old Windows 10 desktop. Works well for office programs and internet.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersI was looking to replace an old desktop PC and consider saving some space on the desk as well. This mini PC has certainly lived up to its claims and more.
I dont do gaming so cant comment on its capabilities in that area, but for office work it works perfectly and I got a second screen.
Installed an extra SSD to give me some local storage although I mainly use networked storage (NAS) and it was so simple to install.
BT Keyboard and Mouse saves even more space and wires.
    Loving it so far.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI bought this mini-pc with the N3350 CPU and 4GB of RAM. It worked first time and Windows updated, including a features update, with no problem. The amount of RAM is fine for all of my purposes but the CPU is limiting as it hit 100% capacity while unzipping files. It connected easily to my wifi, monitor (via HDMI), keyboard and mouse. The Intel integrated graphics didn’t update via windows, I used the free edition of Driver Booster. I purchased a new bluetooth keyboard and mouse and they connected first time. I use this as a ‘thin client’ to connect to work servers from home and it runs Citrix Workspace App fine. It gives me the opportunity to upgrade to a dual screen system in the future if I need to.

In January 2022 this costs 159.90 less a 30 voucher and for 130 it’s great value. It’s not going to run many games but for word processing, internet browsing or as a thin client running Windows 10 it’s a very handy device to have.
