I wasnt expecting much as it was quite cheap for a heavy duty office chair.
It arrived promptly and comes in 6 parts plus castors and screws.
It was so simple to construct i could probably have managed without even looking at the instructions but i followed them carefully. (One small note is at first i missed adding the metal washer things as the image for the step could be a little clearer but when i looked again at the end i found my mistake and was able to rectify it.
I have had to put together a fair bit of flatpack furniture and office chairs etc. And this was one of the easiest builds i have done.
Once i sat down in it i was shocked by just how comfortable it was, as i said before i wasnt expecting much since i have always felt you get what you pay for, but this definitely feels like a bargain.
The only thing i cant judge yet is longevity but i am certainly hopeful considering everything else.

This is the second chair I have bought of the same design and what a mistake that was.
The quality has drastically changed and within a week the bottom cushion has no padding at all.

Comfortable chair if not the most ergonomic.
Easy enough to assemble and looks good . Not the most ergonomic chair as there aren’t many adjustments you can make to suit your posture. When the chair is in the upright position I find it doesn’t sit me forward enough and support my back if I’m working at my desk. It’s comfortable to sit back in if you’re reading or using the internet. there are better ergonomic office chairs out there at a price but overall I’m satisfied with my purchase.

I have been working from home for just over 6 months, perched on a dining chair! With the likelihood of returning to the office in the near future diminishing I decided to treat myself to a comfortable chair before my back suffers any further! The chair arrived within 2 days and was pretty easy to assemble. It is comfy and sturdy and has made my working day more comfortable – recommended:)
I’ve used this chair for a couple of months before writing this review. It’s very comfortable and remains solid after a couple of months heavy use (about 14 hrs sitting on it every day). Good support for my back, and the seat is thick and comfortable for my tail bone. The armrest although not adjustable is in the right angle and position for me and very comfortable. I wouldn’t say it’s super easy to assemble, I did spend an hour putting it together on a hot summer night, but to be fair it wasn’t technically difficult, just a number of steps to follow. If you can manage IKEA furniture you wouldn’t find it difficult assembling this chair. Some of the silver pieces are plastic not metal, but good quality plastic and makes the chair lighter for me to move upstairs, so I’m fine with it.
Very pleased
The chair arrived earlier than expected. Assembly diagrams were clear. It dropped a star on assembley as I have to have assistance when attaching the back to the rest of the chair. The result is a comfortable chair which rolls easily and does not damage to carpet!
Dead easy to assemble
Arrived in half the time initially quoted and was well packed. It was very easy for one person to assemble using the pictorial assembly instructions. Comfortable, stable and moves easily. Definitely recommend. (reviewed after owning and using for a week)
A man’s chai
A sturdy comfortable chair, but at 5.6 I feel it’s too big for me. The back support is adjustable but is not quite upright enough for me due to the depth of the seat.

This chair is really comfy with thick plushie cushion just like the photos. It arrived a day early which was a great surprise and was easy to assemble. The screws/tools are well labelled like in the photo which I was impressed with. I had some trouble pushing down hard enough to pop the wheels on, but my partner had no trouble

Quite deep for us smaller folk to rest our backs but they can’t please everyone!
The cover material looks like it would be easy to tear (you get what you pay for) so need to be careful.
Material is stapled underneath so wouldn’t be surprised if it starts to come away (but easy to fix if it does)
The tilt is a very basic (just a lever rod in a hole). If you have it in tilt mode the chair just feel loose and rocks around. It would be good for your back so to be honest the tilt function is pretty pointless other than as a marketing feature.
Very good value for the money
I bought this to replace a previous office chair , which after 6 years of heavy use needed replacing. For those who have put up chairs ands the like before its all about the instructions . The manufacturer gives you a logical instructions and I put this up in about 40 minutes. I would recommend this as a budget priced office chair without hesitation.
Perfect office chai
This chair is very comfortable and has a good height range. I am not a small person and find this chair perfect. It is easy to assemble only taking around 15 to 20 minutes. I will wait and see how it fairs through regular usage.

It is sturdy and confy, does not creak or make annoying noises. the back does not adjust and neither do the arm rests but if that is not a problem i would recommend this for the price.

he chair is bigger than my previous swivel and as i have it in my kitchen, which also doubles as my office, it takes up more space than the old one. but it is very comfortable and i fall asleep quite easily in the evenings, so it’s all good as far as i’m concerned.

I am aging and sedentary, and sit in this chair for about 14 hours every day, so it had to be good, and it is.
Firm, but perfectly padded for my needs, I have never had a more comfortable chair.
A Value for Money Home Office Chai
I’ve given it 5* as at this price point you probably won’t find much better except in a Sale. It arrived very quickly, was relatively easy to assemble in about 40 minutes, and seems to be exactly what I was looking for, i.e. a modestly priced but reasonably comfortable chair with a smart appearance, strong enough for 100kg man, and suitable for occasional use in a home office. On the downside, it’s obvious that the black “faux leather” synthetic covering will soon start to show signs of wear, and it will probably start splitting in a few years. If you want a robust real leather chair that’s able to withstand the rigours of 40+ hours use every week and still looks good after several years – you probably need to look else where, but expect to pay at least twice as much.
I took a long time to choose a chair that I spend a long time using and I’m glad I picked this one. It was straightforward to assemble, looks great and is comfortable… apart from one minor niggle, the headrest part of the chair is a little low, maybe only 5cm but it pushes into my shoulder blades slightly. I’m 5′ 10″, so not overly tall, but if I could pull the headrest up like in a car, I would.
Overall, good value for money and pleased with the purchase.
A Decent Quality Computer Chair for the price
It’s fairly easy to assemble, a bit fiddeley getting the screws to line up, but when assembled is rock solid and very comfortable, very happy so far with the chair.

Easily Assembled and Comfortable
I read variable reviews of the ease of assembly of theses chairs so I asked my son to do it for me! It took him approximately 30 minutes and he encountered no problems. It is early days so I obviously cannot comment on its durability but I am finding it very comfortable which is not necessarily a given for a 6’5″ tall person! My first impressions are that this chair is excellent value for money.

This is a quality item which I had assembled. I am not sure how to adjust backrest but otherwise OK. There is no wheel lock since chair can move when I ascend.

Very happy with this chair. Building the chair was very easy with very clear instructions. The chair also came with spare screws and a spare wheel.
I also had the need to ask the seller (Songmics) a question. This was answered very promptly.
Whilst I have not had the chair long enough to say anything about the long term durability it does seem to be very good quality for the price paid.

Good value comfy chair for home office
Good value, well made and comfortable enough for a home office. Dropped a star as assembly was harder than expected as lining up all of the parts was tricky, but once the bolts were in position and tightened it was fine.
Fiddly to put together but a very nice chai
Good quality executive chair. Feels good to sit on and the height adjustment is perfect. I’m 6 foot. It was easy to assemble up until the arms and back. They were very fiddly and frustrating to get them all lined up. Once lined up and tightened all okay. I managed to set it up on my own but could do with a second person. Other than that well pleased.

Item was delivered on the day specified. Arrived in a big box of parts to assemble yourself – which was fine. Once built, the rotation seems fairly stiff but not in an awful way, I guess this might become more fluid over time. The rocking back and forth is nice and gentle. The padding is pretty good compared to other more expensive products that I’d seen in shops. I’ve not used the wheels as I’m on laminated flooring, instead I’ve stuck pads to the base where the wheels should be and this is fine – keeping the wheels for the day we finally get a place with carpet. I’m 6ft4 and the back of the chair comes up to my shoulders – would’ve been nice to have been able to rest my head but I had read another review stating the height so I kind of expected it. Overall I am very happy for the quality and price of the product and I would recommend – certainly for people under 6ft. Ps I’ve been gently rocking for the duration of this review and it’s brilliant 🙂

Durable but was damaged
When built this chair is very durable, just one issue I had with mine unfortunately, there was a score mark on the leather of the back rest which is pretty visible, that’s the only reason for not giving 5 stars.

It’s comfortable to sit in when I’m at the PC, and it was easy to assemble – only one of the eight screws was a bit reluctant to find its home!
Have to say that I am pretty impressed with this chairs build quality for the money paid. I would recommend two people for putting it together as it can be a bit fiddly although as an avid DIYer I was able to do it myself. As someone who is 6″ 6 tall and 118 kilos it is great with good upper leg and back support and it has the ability to tilt back. Personally, I should have went for something with a bit higher back rest due to my height. The back only comes up to the nape of my neck but this will not be a problem for most people and it would be unfair to reduce my scoring of the chair based on that alone. I can easily sit on it for four to five hours with no aches or fiddling about to get comfy.

Great chair. Upgraded from a 30 office chair I was pleased with the product. It has a neat design overall and the colour works really well with my room.
Pros:
– great material, I don’t sweat or feel uncomfortable after sitting for a long time.
– really easy to assemble
– great for my back problem. After a week of using this chair I could safely say my posture has improved
– comfortable; sometimes more comfortable than my bed
Cons:
– if you are taller than 5’11” you might find it uncomfortable when leaning your head because the back of the chair is not too tall, giving no support
– the chair is quite noisy. Most movements or changes of position will result in the chair producing a sound.
Overall I am happy with this purchase and I believe it deserves 899.
Surprisingly good chair for the price. As a large person I wanted something a little bigger than the standard, and this fits the bill nicely. Feels good and solid, no wobble or squeaking. Used primarily as a home computer chair for gaming.
Assembly is reasonably straightforward, with all the parts clearly marked. The fittings come vacuum sealed with spare bolts and two spare casters (which was good to see).
I was a little concerned with the lack of lumbar support when choosing, however having used this for some extended sessions I’ve not had any issue with comfort, it fits me rather well ( as mentioned I’m on the large side of things).
Obviously it’s still a new purchase so couldn’t say anything about the longevity, but it feels solid enough to give several years of service. Overall I’m very happy with this product, and would have no qualms buying from this manufacturer again.

Chair is awesome, there’s only one thing I’ve noticed I dislike. All the chairs I’ve owned in the past let you lean back and then push in the level to lock yourself in what my friends lovingly refer to as the “Fat man position” and this one only lets you lock it straight up. Otherwise it’s exactly as advertised, the arm rests are okay it’s comfortable and a pretty good price.

Nice comfy chair however, like all flat-pack furniture it can be a bit awkward to put together. In this case it was the last step of connecting the back of the chair that was fiddly to get right, as you need to line up the holes between the arms and the back, which requires quite a bit of pressure, and screw in the bolt at the same time.

I was a bit dubious about buying a chair online, when I wouldn’t be able to sit on it first to try it out for comfort. However, after reading the positive reviews on Amazon, I decided to give this one a go, especially at the competive price of 83. First impressions were very good – the chair parts were well packed in a sturdy box. The individual pieces were wrapped in various combinations of soft plastic, bubble wrap and cardboard. Many self-assembly items just throw all the fittings into a plastic bag, but with this chair, the fittings are attached to a card, with all items clearly labelled. Assembly was straightforward, taking about 25 minutes. Once assembled, I found the chair to be very comfortable, with good lumbar support. The height adjustment works well and you can adjust the stiffness of the rocking action (both seat squab and back move together). Overall, this is an excellent purchase and gives the impression that it will last for many years.

One tool not supplied was perseverance…….just needed along with patience to align the bolt holes when fitting the back rest.
