This item arrived yesterday and i couldnt wait to try it going by others reviews on here. i have a very strong 8 month old lab who constantly pulls very strongly on the lead to the point that it causes pain in my arms and walking becomes a nitemare. im amazed at the results which where pretty much instant, still pulls a bit with certain distractions like cats or other dogs etc but no where near as strongly pulled as before. we all enjoyed our walk and even stayed out for a longer walk than usual and i cant wait to carry on using this and see what progress we can make long term. The best 9.00 i have ever spe

Harness arrived on Saturday & I immediately took him out. I was abit skeptic of whether this harness would actually do the trick, but…omg!!! My 16 month old cocker was an extreme puller, he pulled so much on our walks, my ribs were actually misaligned. I have to say, on our very first outing wearing it & although he did pull very slightly…I thoroughly enjoyed our walk for the first time in months! The harness has reduced my crazy boys pulling by at least 90%

I bought this for my large Jack Russell who is a year old. She is a rescue and had never been taught to walk with a lead as a young pup by her original owners so consequently she pulls and twists about constantly. This harness has made NO difference to her pulling at all, she doesn’t really care about it and pulls just the same. However I do feel it is a well fitting, comfy harness, it’s easy to get on and I will definitely continue to use i

This harness has changed the way my dog walks – he was pulling like a train and my joints were in agony. He is like a different dog an absolute pleasure to take him out. My only issue is that I have to put the harness over his head and then get his long legs in it would be easier if there were clips on the harness but it’s not really an issue. I would recommend I have no issues with the quality.

My dog didnt like trying this on, he sat in a huff because he is used to a comfort harness. He was comfortable wearing this on his walks. Strong and well made. Easy to put on. It does pull and lift him up when he pulls. Not sure if it will stop him pulling when he sees another dog or bird because he didnt seem bothered about the lift actio

it’s a good idea but do not expect that it has magical effect and the pulling stops. it will work to a certain extent but when a dog wants to see a pole/bush/wall he will do so no matter what harness they wear. i’ve tried several of these anti pull harnesses and thus is the best. i like that when not pulling it relaxes and becomes loose so that pooch doesn’t get chaffing like the secure styles

I was worried about the size because the sizing seemed quite vague and widely banded and I was buying for my miniature dachshund. I chose the small and needn’t have worried. This harness is so adjustable it fits perfectly. I think it would fit small dogs of any extreme! Definite improvement on walks, not perfect, but that’s my dodgy training not the harnesses ( or the dogs) fault really! Great, clever design, well made. If your dog is just tricky to get a good fitting harness for this would be a smart buy. Only drawback is you can’t leave the dog wearing this because of the long lead line; mine trips on it ( but he has 3 inch legs, so other dogs may be OK)

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was very sceptical about any harness stopping my determined bundle of energy from pulling me along. This has changed our walks from a battle to a pleasure. I did reinforce with stop go training and now she gets excited when the harness comes out as that means walks and I no longer have my shoulder pulled out of its socket. I bought small for my cocker spaniel cross and it fits lovey

    OMG!!!
After trying all training resources for three years I have found the miracle walking harness.
Today I have taken my dog for a walk without any pulling. I am SURE he enjoyed it as much as we did.
Even with his fear of traffic we walked him next to a main road without any issues. He had his tail between his legs at this point but carried on walking at a sensible pace and was not to anxious.
He ignored other dogs and walked to heal when asked.
I LOVE this new harness as I am sure Marco does!
Quality times ahead for us all.
Walking him is no longer a chore but a HUGE pleasure!!!!!!
    Brilliant harness!!!!!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe are really pleased with this harness. Over the years we have tried many types of collars, leads, harnesses, Halti type etc and finally, we have found one that actually does what it promises. We have four dogs of differing sizes and when they are all on their leads, they pull. Not with this harness……it was amazing. As soon as we set off for our walk with the harness on……calm, relaxed and no pulling. Brilliant. Once you get used to how to put them on the dog, they are easy to fit. Try one…you won’t be disappointed!

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersThis harness is made by magical fairies, woven with unicorn hair and blessed by woodland elves because it’s literally magic. We have an extremely bouncy poodle pup and l as he was getting bigger started to pull really hard on his collar. It was getting me down and my daughter (9) couldn’t walk him on her own. The dog was coughing as he walked. And we looked like bad owners. We bought this harness popped it on and had an instant result. He literally trots by our side or slightly ahead as he sniffs. It is truly worth buying. I’d say I’d buy again but there’s no way I’m having another dog. Ones enough!!!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI ordered the harness on the friday and it was delivered the next day so really impressed with how fast it got to me. It has given my a lot more control over my dog out on walks and thats a huge thing as my dog is a puller! Very true to size. I have a staffy and I ordered a medium, it fits perfect.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersSo, we adopted a rescue dog a few weeks back. Like many rescue dogs he arrived to us with a lot of baggage. He’s a 20kg crossbreed and very strong. He’s a tugger when on walks. You need to know this.

I read meany reviews about this harness and I’m so grateful for the positive vibes about this – hence me writing my own review – we took our boy for a walk yesterday and it was like he was a different dog. We’d spent the last 4 weeks pulling him back, trying to get him to heel and trying to save our arms!!

    This harness is pure magic.

Over th le last 2 days we have walked at a really good pace and no tugging.

I CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH. Sorry I’m shouting.

    Worth every penny.

    Thank you.

Wow. I can honestly say that this actually works. I have 2 dogs, one that pulls constantly but the other doesn’t. I decided to buy 2 anyway as I wanted them both to have a harness lead rather than the collar ones. The difference now is remarkable & it’s now it’s less stressful for all of us when on walks. I would definitely recommend this to anybody that has problems with dogs pulling on there lease any day.

This is fantastic and has reduced our springer spaniels pulling to a minimum. Like many stringers She walks to heel off lead but just pulls and pulls on a lead with a 3 second memory after being checked for it. She only goes on lead when we are on holiday or somewhere that being on a lead is required like near livestock, this harness has made these times much more bearable and saved our shoulders from permant damage. Bought it with low expectations as our dog is 11 years old and didn’t think it could possibly make much difference highly recommend i

I like that this is light-weight and easy to put on, but have to say it doesn’t really stop my dog from pulling all that much (she’s just keen to get where she’s going!) It can be very useful as something to get hold of to pull her out of the river or the mud though! I am a bit concerned that the straps under her front legs are rather thin and might be uncomfortable – there is padding to cover these but that can move out of place. My dog is right in-between a medium and a large: a closer fitting size means there is only a short ‘lead’ section left to attach to the dog’s own lead, a larger size would give a longer rein – up to you to decide which you’d prefer.

If you have a staffie I would chose large as it says leave 10cm on cord my bitch staffie has about 8cm with this harness also I highly advise buying haiti link or any other product similar to go between collar and harness as my dog pulled backwards and it just fell off other than that this product has helped so much if you stop so does the dog and her pulling has reduced 10fold now we just need to deal with other dogs

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe have a 6 year old springer who could pulls like crazy. She is flat to the floor and nearly strangles herself with her collar. Thought I would try this harness but didn’t hold up much hope, as it was only 10.00. This is the best thing we have ever bought. It does exactly what it says on the tin!!
She doesn’t pull at all just walks beside you lovely. Its an absolute miracle!! With it being around her chest, she obviously gets the feeling there is no collar, so doesn’t try and get away. Would thoroughly recommend this product it has changed our lives!!

I have a very small 18 month old dog, which despite thorough training and always on a retractable lead would continually lose the plot and try to run after people to greet them and jump up to be petted. Understandably some people don’t like this. More in despair than anything else we tried this. It was absolutely amazing from the start. She stayed close, didn’t pull or run ahead, walks to heel like a dream and our walks have become a real pleasure at last. She is very small and the adjustments are at there tightest but I would doubt it would be small enough for miniature breeds.

Despite all the positive reviews I was still a little cynical, but this is an amazing device.
I’ve a spaniel puppy who use to pull all the time, and on a traditional collar made him cough and choke. despite this it didn’t stop him! He still pulled, but the impact was far less on both my arm and the dog. When he does pull the harness stops him and he starts walking to heel immediately. I’m happier, he seems happier. Win, win.

After reading reviews from other spaniel owners who gave good reviews I decided to give this a try. I have a strong spaniel who really pulls on his lead and walking him had become anything but a pleasure!! So first time out and I put his harness on and stepped outside…….AND WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! He set off and no pulling. I kept thinking any minute and he’ll start. But no, we carried on our merry way and for the first time in years walking was fun. I absolutely recommend this product to anyone. And for the price, you’d be daft not to give it a try!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersTried one of the other Halti harnesses that go over the dog’s nose, but she whined and pawed at it and didn’t like it one bit (shouldn’t pull on the lead then, should you!). So I bought one of these which she prefers, in fact when I take it off the hook she nearly wrestles me to the floor trying to put it on, she’s even learnt to lift her legs up and put them through the loops. She still pulls occasionally trying to get to another dog or someone she knows who has treats, but she soon stops when she runs out of breath and realises why she’s so uncomfortable.

I would also recommend the Halti Training Lead as it is adjustable to about three different lengths and is very soft to hold, so no burning your hand when the dog tries to run off.

Tried these as my 2 pooches like to pull me along. Didn’t want to spend too much as I didn’t know if they would work – Oh my god – they’re fab! Walks are now more enjoyable and my arms are still in their sockets! Worth every penny, fantastic value for money. Bit of a ‘faff’ to get on and off but hey, I still love them. One of my dogs loves to roll and skid along in long grass so I tend to take hers off when she’s running about but the other dogs can be left on. Would definitely recommend.

This was suggested by our vet because this harness has gentle fleece lined tapes behind the front legs which have not caused any soreness. A couple of other more expensive harnesses he had wore away the fur on his stomach and front legs causing soreness because he used to pull a lot when we first got him. While this harness looks “lightweight” the medium size is perfect for our (22kg) Labrador cross. I cannot say that it stopped him pulling however (that was not our primary aim) but it is now rare for him to make “choking” sounds when he pulls very hard such as when he sees a cat further up the street! Overall this is the best harness I have used.

OMG this simple harness is a flipping miracle, taking Marty for a walk was wonderful until I had to put in on a lead. He is walked through woodland and left free to run. But crossing the road home, He pulled my arm off. Now he’s the perfect dog with this harness!!!
Fitting snuggly due to the cord that can be adjusted to fit the dog, my Cocker Spaniel doesn’t even notice it. The woolly padding around the dogs front armpits doesn’t chafe. It’s so easy to find the ring to clip lead onto as it hang on the back, no more hunting round the neck collar for the D ring.
Walks are a joy to me and him.
    10/10

It fits my Rhodesian ridgeback very well, and is padded under his front legs for comfort. Personally, I have found a Halti to be more effective in stopping his pulling, but this does seem to help a little. It gives me far more control over my dog than I would have if he were attached purely by his collar.

These harnesses are brilliant , I received three today, I bought 2 large ones for my GSD.and a medium one for collie cross lab, and they all fit perfect, its the first time I haven t felt stressed walking my dogs , it has stopped them from pulling, its a pleasure to walk them now instead of dreading it. and its nice not to hear them choking to death like they would on a lead and collar, I’m going to get the short leads next , as I have chain leads , and they are not suitable for these harnesses, I am so glad I bought these harnesses.

The first few walks were amazing! We have two big dogs who insist on being in front and seem to think that they have to pull from when we step out the front door ’til we get home again! We were initilally impressed with how they behaved in their new harness and they responded well to the tightening whenever they pulled too hard. But – we have two very stubborn, strong dogs. They are still pulling, although not as much as they used to.

My collie/lab cross gets so distracted on walks that she pulls all the time. I have tried the head-collar type anti-pull stuff before but as she likes to sniff and has her head to the ground a lot she would walk on the leash or step over it, constantly getting it stuck under her front leg.

This harness has completely stopped her ability to pull and the pressure goes to her shoulders/chest/ instead of her neck, which is much kinder. She now knows that when she feels a little bit of pressure which I never manages with a normal collar or the head-collar type products. It seems to be very sturdy also but I have only had it for a month or so.

She is 17kg and has a slim collie-type build and the size was perfect for her.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI decided to purchase this item after reading the reviews and especially one from a cocker spaniel owner as I have a 5 month old cocker and he pulls like a steam train, the bigger he gets the harder it is to walk him. The harness arrived very quickly and in turn was very quickly put on my dog. What a difference, no more heavy pulling whereby your arm doesn’t feel like it’s leaving it’s socket. No more jumping up and biting the lead, he is a delight to walk and I think he is getting a better walk from this too. I am one very, very happy harness (and dog) owner. I did buy the small harness as he is only a puppy and it does fit well, but I will purchase the medium once he has outgrown the small, well maybe before he outgrows it. Cannot recommend enough.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. !!!! My two year old sprocker spaniel has always been a challenge on a lead. He has got much better over the last two years but he is still not a pleasure to walk on a lead. I normally drive two miles to the local nature reserve and then walk him around that, throwing a ball. Last night this arrived and I put it on him. I tried him in the house and no sign of pulling. So I ventured on the four mile round trip to the nature reserve on foot. It was an absolute pleasure – hardly any pulling and if he did move forward, just the gentlest of pulls with the lead and he stopped. Not only does he benefit from not getting choked, I will get more exercise as well ! Bonus. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We tried a halty and it does work but my dog always rubs at his face because it irritates him, however this harness does not seem to bother him at all. He is a big retriever cross and has always pulled, he’s responded well to training on just his collar but this takes constant attention and constant reminders and a TON of treats! And when there is another dog in sight it all goes out the window. I am so pleased to have found something that works as well as this, I can keep him on a loose lead and if he does see another dog and pull at the harness it is much easier to control him and doesn’t hurt my arm at all! Thank you

I received this harness this morning (next day delivery – brilliant!) and when we went for our afternoon walk it was as if I had a different dog. She walked along beautifully!! So, thank you so much to all those people who wrote reviews. I actually was looking for a harness to run with my dog (a 14 month old cockapoo) so I didn’t hurt her neck when one of us (usually her) stopped suddenly mid run. I wasn’t even thinking about her pulling until I read the reviews and just hoped that it would help with that too. I would definitely recommend this product. All I need now is to find something to stop her rolling in anything that is Fox poop, dead or smelly.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is FANTASTIC. I have tried so many leads on my 8 year old, 38kg male chocolate Labrador. I’ve rehomed him, and so haven’t had him for long, and he wasn’t trained to walk properly and so would pull me EVERYWHERE. My shoulder was beginning to ache a lot after walking him, and I couldn’t put up with it any longer. I tried a leash that goes over the nose and round his jaw, and he made a horrendous noise every time he tried to pull – it did not stop him, and just made him sound dangerous and out of control!

My partner had suggested a harness, and I just shrugged it off, I figured if a leash that went over his nose wouldn’t work, what would? I finally opted to try one, and this was an Amazon deal of the day, so I thought – why not? It was under 10 and worth a punt, and by golly, I am so glad I got one.

Walks are now a breeze. He does still sometimes attempt to pull, but a sharp tug of the lead and he’s back walking calmly. It really has been a wonder product for me, and I no longer dread walking him.

I will say, my partner’s sister has a springer spaniel, and it did not work for her dog – he simply refused to walk with it on. So I would say, definitely take a punt on it, but I can’t guarantee it’ll work with every dog. But it did with my chocolate Labrador, and I’m so thankful for it.

This was a god-send product for us with a very strong large dog to take for walks. She went from uncontrollably dragging me along the pavement with a fixed lead on a collar to me being able to walk at my pace with greater control over her movements when the harness was being worn. We both now love going for walks and she’ll sit patiently and offer her paws up one by one to feed them through the straps as she knows her harness means we’re going out!

The only flaw with this product is that it seems to stay wet for quite a long time after use (whether from heavy rain or a dunk in the sea), but that’s a minor complaint compared to not being able to walk my dog without it!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI ordered 2 on these on Saturday and paid for next day delivery expecting them to arrive on the Monday imagine my surprise when the courier was knocking on my door at 9.30am Sunday morning! Excellent service. We have 2 dogs, a Staffie and a Bitza ( bitza this and bitza that) both pull like mad, sometimes it’s so bad it’s embarrassing. lovely well behaved and obedient dogs at home, walk to heel nicely in the garden, outside it’s a different story. Anyway we thought we would give these harnesses a go. Took them for their first outing wearing these harnesses and it’s like 2 different dogs! They still won’t walk to heel outside of the garden, and they both still like to be at the extent of their leads so there is a very slight pull but it was a pleasure instead of a fight. Good for us and it must surely be better for the dogs too. Can highly recommend this product.

So I read the reviews on this product and wasn’t sure whether to buy it or not but in the end I decided to. I would usually walk my dog using her collar but she would pull awfully and no matter what I did nothing stopped her then I tried her with this harness. It was easy to put on and to adjust and she seemed comfortable so I was pleased with that part, then I took her out for a walk and it was honestly like she was not the same dog! It has stopped her pulling completely and our walks are definitely more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend.

Two weeks into settling in, our shy rescue dog from Spain turned out to be a super-hyper Jack Russell mix (at least 80%, think Eddie’s sister), and the ‘aw, now you can enjoy the world, princess’ attitude from us (BIG MISTAKE), turned her into an out-of-control runner/puller/jumper into duck ponds. Jacks are tenacious, don’t know how to quit, and love to chase and run. I was getting worn down running after her for 3 hours a day because that was the minimum it took to siphon off her energy. Time to get serious, but gently. Ordered this harness, not quite believing it would work. IT WORKS.
Combined with a home-made liver/egg/oatmeal treat, our dog transformed in the first outing. I couldn’t believe it. She was trotting next to me like it was Crufts. We passed two cats: she broke concentration and ran after them. The harness tightened. She relaxed in ten seconds, and came along to resume our walk. I cannot praise this harness enough. A few more walks, and she’ll forget we ever spoiled her those first 2 weeks.

I ordered one each of these for my two dogs – they’re not big pullers, but I liked the idea of the padded straps that go under their legs. They arrived quickly, and after a bit of guess work as to how to put them on, they fitted great! There is a toggle at the back of the harness, so you can get the correct fit without it being too tight or too baggy. I got two Medium sizes, and I have a collie cross and a border collie. It seems a much kinder way to walk our dogs, they’re not getting pulled at the neck, and it seems to comfortable for them. A good buy.

I bought this after spending a lot of money on other anti pull products. My dog is an Alaskan Malamute Siberian Husky cross. She is a big strong girl. Out of all the products I have tried I find this one to be the best. It has take away 90% of the pull so our walks are a lot more pleasurable. Unfortunately it does stop her pulling when she wants to chase a cat or squirrel. The material is nice and soft and the vest section is well ventilated.

I have 2 English Setters, the younger one pulls on the lead, which is a problem as he’s strong, weighing 28kg. I’ve been using leads with nose bands which helped but this harness works much better. Most of the time my dog is off the lead running round the forest, but getting there and back is a pain. On the first time out he didn’t pull at all as we left the house, and I wonder if he was pulling before because he was really fighting the collar, and the nose band in some ways made things worse? He now pulls a bit occasionally on the harness, but it’s easy to stop him. And, even better, I can now take him running, which is mainly off road, but with some road bits, because he doesn’t pull or trip me up. I think it works better for him because he is much more balanced with the harness, and he runs nicely in front without tripping me, so I’m able to use a lightweight nylon lead with it.

The harness is relatively easy to fit, and the size medium is good for my dog, who is big but with a very skinny build. The padding is also good.

This product is a minor miracle. We have an adorable but super strong 14 month old St Bernard who often pulls on the lead when he is out and other dogs run or pull towards him (which they nearly always do because he is so big). This harness is amazing! As soon as the tension pulls onto it, he stops stock still and not only that, it seems to calm and reassure him and he is relaxed even when other dogs are barking at him. On top of all that, he loves wearing it – when we take it off him, he runs after us and sits staring at the shelf or cupboard where it is. Can’t recommend it enough.

Harness is unusual in comparison to standard types (H harness). Bit tricky to first put on as you have to place the dog’s head through it, then through onto the body, then put the legs out.
Didn’t really purchase with the aim of stopping the dog pulling, mainly brought because my dog is an awkward size and all other harness are far to big on the chest, so he is able to bite it. Ordered a small but have altered to the very tightest that it will go, as the small is still rather big. However, fits much better than any other harness that I have purchased. When dog is not pulling, the leg straps do fall down a bit, but this may fit better on other dogs.
It is not the most attractive harness but as my dog is incredibly fluffy, you cannot see any of the straps. Great feature of this product is the straps that go around the leg, as they are padded so do not cause any discomfort to the dog. Also, there is netting on the chest plate so this should not irritate the dog. Also, as the harness tightens to stop any pulling, this added material should prevent discomfort.
For a lager dog who pulls or is excitable, I am not sure how well or long the harness would perform or last. Nevertheless, I only have a small dog and for this size, the harness seems durable.
    Would recommend.

at last a harness that does stop our Labradoodle from pulling. We have tried all different types of harness to no avail, and as this was on Offer we gave it a chance. and now when our dog is using it she does not pull, My wife loves taking her out for walks now without the thought of being pulled over. Only criticism is getting the harness off and on. We like to let our dogs off to run in wide open spaces, and it is quite a chore to put the harness off and on.You cannot leave it on as it gets instantly loose and could easily get caught on something. What we did try was a peg to clip the straps up. It does work but again there should be a simpler way. The other one is that you need a shorter lead as the straps that you connect the lead to extend the lead by 30 CM

I have used this type of harness on my dogs for many years and highly recommend them. Although it doesn’t say on the box this harness is actually a ‘Sporn’ brand according to the name stamped on it. I am not sure that they actually prevent dogs from pulling…if a dog gets wound up enough nothing will stop it, but certainly my dogs seem to prefer this harness to other types and usually remain calm when wearing it. I like the fact it is padded under the ‘armpits’ and is designed to fit below the neck on the chest so there is no choking when the dog does pull. These can also be used with the appropriate car seat belt connector as a restraint when travelling on the back seat. If I have one negative point about them it is that the plastic spring slider usually breaks after a year or two of use but then nothing lasts forever. This doesn’t stop the harness being used but prevents it from being fastened more securely hence giving you time to get another one on order!

We have a 5 year old springer spaniel and this harness has reduced his pulling tremendously. He is happier now as he hated the halti which cut into his face. He will always pull but this harness has made his walk much more pleasant both for him and for me. The only drawback is getting him into it as he insists in laying down as soon as he sees it – once it’s on, he can’t get out the door fast enough!

I purchased this harness for my 9 month old Labrador who is very excitable on walks which, considering he is around 30kg, can be a problem. The harness works brilliantly and walks have become much more enjoyable, especially for the dog. It’s easy to get on and off and seems durable. I was worried about it being cruel but it really isn’t. The dog gets excited whenever he sees it! Wouldn’t heaitate to recommend that you try this harness if your dog is pulling on the lead.

I wish I had got this years ago. It takes a little time to get used to putting it on, but once this is sorted it works like a dream. My dog seems to find it comfortable and he now walks like an angel. Previously my arms were being pulled from their sockets! I have tried a halty which he hates and becomes very distressed by and and an ordinary harness which did help a bit. This seems more comfortable and has stopped all pulling and jerking. we are both really enjoying our walks. It is so much safer, as previously I worried about my back being injured by him pulling and jerking. He is a very big, strong male labrador. I am recommending them to every one.

I bought this for my 6 month old Bichon Frise puppy. Size small fits her on its smallest setting so there is plenty of room for it to expand when/if she grows some more. At 6 months old she is already slightly bigger than my other adult (fully grown but very small) Bichon. The harness is good, it holds her safely. I bought it because it is advertised as a non-pull harness but sadly it does not stop her from pulling. If it did I would have given it 5 stars. As a general harness it is good value.

I bought this after reading all the reviews. I have a 7 month old Border Collie and he gets very excited and pulls. It has stopped the pulling a little, but not to the extent i thought it might of after reading all the reviews. Nice comfy harness though with the fleece straps. Nice harness, but not the wonder product i thought it might have been for a pulling pooch!

A really good harness. I had problems finding a good harness for my dog, as many of the good quality ones were too small for him and were too tight, making him breathe too heavily after exercise. This one sacrifices a little of the build quality for really good comfort and utility.

The build quality could be a little better, but since its the one most comfortable for my dog, I’ll just keep using them, since they are also pretty cheap.

Excellent! Received it today and just got back from a walk. It worked, can’t believe how such a simple thing can work so well. My Daughters dog is a 2 year old choc lab, he pulls so much, pulled me over and I twisted my knee, we used a halti which goes over his nose and he hates it, scoots along on his face trying to get it off, even when crossing the road. It was becoming dangerous and not pleasant to walk him. I looked at a harness similar to this one but the straps under the armpits were not padded, this one is and looked very comfortable. Medium was an excellent fit. Very glad I got it, it’s like walking a different dog 🙂

I have been meaning to write a review, and today am finally getting around to it! My dog is a very excitable springer spaniel, who has not calmed down one bit since we got her 9+ years ago. She was excited to get the harness on, and I kept thinking “Don’t get your hopes up, because if you do, it will end in disaster.”. I am pleasantly surprised, I’m even excited to take her out for walks now! She just does not pull me at all! As soon as I put the thing on – instant calm. She has tried to pull a few times, but she just can’t seem to do it, and just falls back in line next to me! Buy it if you’re having issues with your dog pulling – you won’t regret!

This has made a huge difference, our dog is a german shepherd/labrador cross so is big and strong, although she still tugs a bit at first she soon reacts to a slight snatch on the lead. I would say that a with combination of this harness and firm training an unruly dog would soon be walking properly. Our dog also seems to be more relaxed when walking as well. This product is definitely worth the money.

I GAVE THIS PRODUCT A 5 STAR RATING, PURELY BECAUSE I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT. I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT FOR MY AMERICAN BULLDOG MIX WHO IS LARGE, VERY STRONG AND PULLS A LOT.FOR THIS REASON MY PARTNER DREADED TAKING HER OUT, AS SHE WAS HARD TO CONTROL, AND HE SUFFERED FROM SEVERE ACHES AND PAINS REGULARLY.
SINCE BUYING THE HARNESS, OUR DOG HAS TOTALLY CHANGED HER BEHAVIOUR, AS SHE HARDLY EVER PULLS, AND SHE IS SO MUCH EASIER TO CONTROL. MY PARTNER IS ALSO A CHANGED MAN, AS IT HAS MINIMIZED HIS ACHES AND PAINS, AND HE DOESN’T DREAD TAKING HER OUT NOW. I HAVE’NT TRIED ONE ON ANY OF MY SMALLER BREADS OF DOG YET, BUT I TRULY BELIEVE IT WOULD WORK ON THEM TOO, AFTER SEEING THE RESULTS.

I have an eighteen month old staffi bedlington cross who is very well behaved until it comes to walkies. Five minutes on the lead and her eyes are bulging and she is gasping but still continues to pull. She can go running through the woods followed by swimming in the river and still pull so strongly that it has become a chore to walk her. Today I took delivery of the non pull harness and was eager to try it out. Once I had figured out how to put it on her we were off, she didn’t seem to mind wearing it as the underarm fleece made it comfortable. I really felt I had a different dog on the end of the lead, she did not pull, not even once. A very sceptical hubby was bemused so he took her out and could not believe the transformation. It will most definitely make walking a more pleasurable pastime and I would wholeheartedly recommend.

This harness does actually stop my staffy cross pulling – most of the time. I have tried various other harnesses and none stopped him hauling me along the street. They also broke fairly quickly. I was a bit dubious about this one as it seemed fairly flimsy but thought I give it a go.

It’s easy to put on, once you work out how it fits – just pop over the dogs head and lift his feet through the leg loops, then tighten the toggle at the back and attach a lead.

He now walks on a loose lead and it’s much more pleasant to go for a walk. The no-pull is not perfect – if he sees another dog, or some-one he know he will still pull but he’s much better than before.

The loops under armpits are soft – but I still have to check for rubbing and chafing – and apply a bit of sudocream occasionally.

We’ve been using the harness for a couple of months now and it’s still going strong.

i’d recommend this harness to any-one whose dog thinks its a husky.

I received my COA non-pull harness today and have enjoyed a blissful walk with my dog. Had him 3 weeks and every walk has been a nightmare, until today. This harness is magic! I admit to being somewhat sceptical before I tried it, but it performs better than I could have hoped. It is easy to fit and with the padded straps is comfortable to wear.
For the first time I haven’t been airborne by the dog tugging on his lead! I can’t recommend this harness enough – does exactly as promised. My dog is a Corgi/Shih-tzu, mated with a German Shepherd and is a strong little chap who tugs at the least provocation when he sees a cat or even a paper bag blowing in the wind.
If you have a dog who pulls and tugs on a normal lead, you must give the COA harness a try. You won’t regret it.

I bought this for my 11 month old Jack Russell as I was fed up with being pulled everywhere with the usual collar and lead! This harness really does seem to work although does not stop him pulling completely. The pressure is taken off his little neck too which makes me feel happier – and him too I’m sure! He is not keen on having the harness put on initially but once out and about he totally forgets he has it on. Careful though – if your dog is a chewer the straps will not last long (I’ve just ordered a second one today!).

I purchased one for my Malamute bitch to try. Medium size just fits as she is about 38Klos. The harness is light and strong, as I walk her twice daily, it gets tested to the limit with her pulling power. When wet I just hand it up to dry, and with no buckles or fastener’s it seems simple is best. I was so impressed I Purchased the small size for the Fox Terrier who is quite a handful on his own.
Quite often I need to walk both dogs together, So I team them up with the coupler. while it does not stop them pulling altogether it allows a good degree of control and comfort in most conditions.

I was very sceptical that this would work as it looks a little flimsy, and I didn’t see how it would be different from any other harness I’ve tried. We have a Pointer who has lots of energy and usually runs off the lead. But recently he’s had to be lead walked as he’d cut his paw. The walks weren’t at all enjoyable as he was pulling a lot. I also have to lead walk our other dog, a Pointer-cross- Beagle. I was finding it impossible to walk them both together as they pulled so much. I have tried several different lead training methods with not much luck as they are both hunting dogs and get carried away with a scent. A friend recommended this harness, and the transformation was like magic! I don’t know why it works so well, but I can now easily walk both dogs together, and our walks are a total pleasure 🙂 It’s easy to put on, and both dogs are happy to wear it, and trot along merrily! I highly recommend this product! 🙂

This is probably the best non-pull harness I’ve ever invested in. It’s nice and comfy because of the padded straps for your doggy’s underarms, and the vest-type piece at the front makes it even better. In my personal experience when my pup tried to pull with this on (he’s quite large and very strong) it hardly, if at all, made him choke. I felt like I had complete control with this harness.

It is a little awkward to get used to adjusting it, and I kinda went stupid mode for a while, not realising how to adjust the tightness and make it stay there lol… Oops (There’s a little, square plastic stopper in the middle of the lead attachment ring that you pull down and it will stop and hold that position to tighten the harness) But after figuring it out this is by far the best investment I’ve put in to a harness, and it wasn’t that expensive. Massive thumbs up.

My dog is – I think medium but when tried to purchase a harness before, it was too small over her chest. She is mixed probably with staffie bull terrier and does have a bull chest. I purchased the large therefore. However, it is a bit big. That said it is adjustable and seems to work really well with her so very pleased overall.
Just be sure to trust your instincts and get the size you really think your dog is, as I think the harness is pretty true to size – unlike one I tried to buy in the past.

Our pup LOVES to chew this and its holding up well, only some minor fraying on the cords. She stands stock still once its on (not entirely sure why), and on out way out walks well on it. There is a definite loss of control compared to normal collar and she also seems to walk sideways more often, as for pulling, to a degree yes, it works. Once we get to the point when she realises we are going home she pulls like stink and the harness does nothing to help this, it is just as bad as with her normal leash and collar, only benefit is that shes no longer choking and gagging herself in an effort to get home and I am not fearing for her life. We are now trying various training techniques and lots of people have said to try the type of leash that goes around the muzzle as this is the most effective, hopefully we wont need that after the training!!

This is a good harness esp for dogs that pull. Its comfortable, soft straps under the armpits so no sores for little dog. Its easy adjustable and very practical. The only improvement needed is the nylon lead slips out of your hand constantly so ive clipped on a stronger lead to harness instead of one provided. But still very happy with purchase as harness for smaller dogs of good quality is hard to find.

Purchased on a recommendation as my female staffy pulls a great deal when out trying to chase birds, cats, and meeting other dogs as well as want to explore all and sundry. I found it to work at first and not pull, but once use to it pulls again on the lead but to a much lesser extent.

I think it works in general to a greater or lesser extent depending on the dog itself.

I bought this harness for my 10 month old Labrador because he ate the last two I bought.

He does pull and jump so I was attracted to the promise of a none pulling, well behave walk at my side dog that this offered,
I had little hope but ordered it all the same.
When it came I fitted it to Reggie wit ease and set off on our walk not expecting much from the rather flimsy looking harness for such a big dog.
    I WAS WRONG.
I am totally amazed by this harness . my lad is 24kg at 10 months old a truck load of muscle pulling on my five foot four inch frame.
    He cant anymore !!

No more back pain! Bought this for the larger of our two border collies. Walking them together was a pain before (literally!). Solved the pulling issue instantly. Bought a smaller size for our other petite collie and also bought a bungee dog walking coupler, so now I can walk them both comfortably. What a difference! Buy one, you won’t regret it! He’s a muscley dude too, well impressed. Best of all, both dogs didn’t mind at all, seem comfy to wear!

update 29/12/13…..I take my review back somewhat….gutted that the medium one is starting to fray badly and soon will be unusable in case it snaps. This is because it needs adjusting when put on so it fits. I bought the small size for our petite collie which fitted exactly and hence this one has not frayed at all. Worth a thought. If you need to tighten the harness on a daily basis, forget it, otherwise you’ll be fine.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis harness actually does what it says it does. I have a very excitable, bouncy cocker spaniel and although she is almost four, I had despaired of ever getting her to stop pulling on the lead. However, as soon as i slipped the harness over her head, she became a different dog. She walked next to me when we went out, stopped when I stopped, it was amazing. I had to check the delivery note to see if I had been sent a free non-pulling dog with the harness.
Seriously, this really works, and my dog enjoys wearing it so it is obviously comfortable. The price is reasonable and it is easy to put on and take off. What more could you ask for?

We have a 6 month old border collie who is prone to pulling on the lead, especially when excited.

I was hoping for great things when buying this harness. It is a veyr good harness, I don’t see any way our dog could slip out of this, it seems to be comftorable for her and it’s easy to put on (once you get your head round it!). However it hasn’t stopped pulling, she pulls a bit less but by no means has it stopped.

We have a new Labrador puppy and not wanting to strangle him (well not always, ha ha.) we decided on a harness. I was a bit sceptical about this one after reading some of the other reviews because it does look very flimsy and lightweight. So, I pulled and tugged and tried to make it snap, I couldn’t believe the strength of this thing, I am quite sure he will be able to wear this even when he is an adult. A very good harness at a very good price.
Update…….He is now three years old. This is a good Harness as I have said, but the only way this would stop him pulling is if I tied it round his testicles. Pulling against him is easier but if he does his donkey stance and refuses to move forwards it is possible to pull the harness over his head when pulling him from the front.

This is a really good harness. It fits well and is comfortable for my dogs. I have two chihuahuas and walk them on a double lead. The boy in his eagerness to explore was always pulling the girl along and they were always getting tangled up. She would then get cross and refuse to move and sit down! I took them out on their lead with these harnesses on for the first time last night and it was brilliant – they both behaved wonderfully – the boy could not pull and try to go to far – which made the girl much happier and she walked all the way (about 2 miles) without sitting down once. Really happy with this purchase. Well worth the money!

The harness is well made and looks every comfortable on my Jack Russell, she never shys away from it when i go to put it on her , once her head is through the opening she lifts her paws up for me to put them through the harness so she’s happy with it, it stopped her pulling for a few days , but living in the countryside, Jack Russells ignore most things when they are on the scent of something so she still pulls with this Harness, I am pleased with it as it is the comfort i see my dog in and there are no sores or marks under her paw pitts and chest like my other harnesses gave her , definately buy again.

This is the second one of these we’ve had. It’s strong & comfy for the dog along with really helping stop an over enthusiastic puppy pulling as much. It doesn’t stop pulling completely, but somehow makes it easier on the arm. The only downside is that with the first one she chewed the lead if we stopped for too long & her teeth made short work of it. However, this was more of a puppy phase that she’s grown out of & we liked it well enough to replace.

Our 2 English Springers are strong and fit and pull like crazy if they don’t get chance to burn off some energy before they go on the lead. They each weigh around 20kg so that makes a lot of dog to hold onto. My husband prefers two seperate leads and I prefer a double lead when we are each out on our own with them. We have both found that these harnesses do make a difference. They haven’t stopped the pulling completely but they do seem to calm down much more quickly. We’ve not had them for long, so can’t comment on wear and tear as yet.

This is our second attempt at getting a harness that is comfortable and easy to use and in most respects this one does a good job. We have another that cost three times as much and our Retriever hates it as much as we do but this one is simple to fit and she is very happy to wear it for walks as well as for car trips where a seat belt clip can be easily fitted. The only drawback is that it has already started to show signs of fraying and I doubt that it will last a year although at the price I guess that isn’t such a bad thing. Since getting it we have encountered several other dogs wearing the same harness on our walks so it must be a popular design.

This fitted my 4 month old Bichon Frise cross Shih Tzu very well.
Very pleased with the ajustment, it fits over a rain jacket too.
I liked the padding that was soft and stopped any harsh rubbing.

    The down side
This harness hasn’t however stopped her pulling on the lead, when she pulls now the harness brings her front legs up, this didn’t bother her in the slightest. I must say though it isn’t as annoying as it was when she had just a coller on.

The 12″ of ajustment strap at the top of the shoulders is left flapping around her body when I let her off the lead, this annoyed her for a while then she got used to it.
Unfortuatly she went into a overgrown area exploring, and got the harness stuck and came out without it.
I also found the mesh square that sits on the chest a bit harsh on the breast bone.

I bought this for our bengal kitten as he outgrew the cat harness. He is an indoor cat so we dont really let him out by himself. It is perfect for taking him around the garden to train him to walk on the lead. The soft straps around the legs and the mess net around the neck area really help to make sure your pet is comfortable and does not choke.

As he tries to pull away it gets tighter but doesn’t seem to distress him, when he is relaxed the harness relaxes also, kinda helps with the training to reinforce him to relax while walking with us 🙂

Would definitely recommend for small dogs or larger cats.

Not only is this harness super comfortable andadded for my dog it’s also stopped her pulling,,,,,,,,,, it’s the was the harness works, on fitting it on my dog redy for a walk it fitted but loose for comfort, as soon as the dog pulls or wonders the harness pulls tight around the chest, not the neck, this tightening around the chest stops my dog instantly, why it does I have no idea put I am just so amazed by the results and walking is just a treat know, all I can say is if you use a collar then stop it and get one of these.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOur dog is very muscular and enthusiastic, and it was tiring and tedious having him pulling me along on walks, wearing just a collar with his lead. And I really needed him to heel, so that he didnt get to thinking that he was my pack leader, so to speak. This harness is quite a lightweight piece of kit, but obviously strong enough to restrain powerful dogs, as it is advertised for use with them (Rottweilers etc., from memory.) It’s very easy to get on, and to adjust to fit, and I don’t understand the complaint in another buyer’s review that his dog escaped from it really easily. I would say that’s just not possible if it’s correctly fitted and adjusted. Anyhow, there doesn’t seem to be any magic to this harness which stops a dog pulling, but my boy certainly pulls less and is more obedient when he is wearing it, than with a collar only. The straps which go from the top of the dog, under the front legs and then attach to the chest section are like strings or thick shoelaces – quite slim, so maybe if the dog pulls, these thin straps dig in under the ‘arms’ and are uncomfortable for him/her. Maybe that’s the secret, and why the pulling lessens. Having said that, they do have a kind of towelling sleeve around them, so they don’t dig into the dog whilst walking nicely. Perhaps only when the dog pulls. I’m guessing here, but am very pleased with the harness: it’s light, strong, not bulky, and it’s effective. The price is excellent too. I would definitely buy another one of these.

We have two dogs, a Saluki lurcher and a border collie/arctic dog cross. The lurcher doesn’t pull at all, but the collie/arctic mix has massive shoulders and really puts his whole strength into pulling. No amount of training has made any difference, it just seems to be in his nature to pull. I’ve tried other harnesses, all of which have been better than attaching a lead to his collar, but none of which have been ideal. Till the Non-Pull harness. It takes a couple of goes to get the hang of putting it on as you don’t undo any fastenings, it just slips over the head then you feed the legs through (it looks like a hernia truss!), but once fitted it seems to work like magic. He now walks by my side without me having to put him there, his head is up, ears pricked, but he’s relaxed and comfortable. Honestly, from the first fitting, he hasn’t pulled once. The only downside is he’s at the limit of the medium size because his neck and shoulders are so strong and thick (even though he’s otherwise only collie size), but the next size up is for much bigger dogs – luckily the harness just fits. It’s also very comfortable for him off lead, it isn’t too tight but it doesn’t snag on things or slip off. I’ll definitely be replacing the harness when this one wears out.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI read reviews on this harness & ordered it due to the amount of positive outcomes it seemed to have. I ordered the medium harness. I have a male staffie who is very strong on his lead, I didn’t expect such drastic results, but yes it happened! I thought it might be a fluke, or that I first used it at night, maybe he was lacking energy.. but he was taken out the morning after whilst very hyper & energetic & my boyfriend came back saying it worked great and he was surprised aswell! This has made a huge difference to the walking experience, I feel like we don’t have to rush everywhere or constantly pull back. The lead now falls loosely for majority of time on walks and even when he gets ahead now I don’t even have to tug back, I just hold gently and he slows down. Fantastic. Would highly recommend. Happy dog owner!!

I have a one year old English/Welsh cross Springer Spaniel called Caden who i have had since he was 4 months old. Caden pulls like you wouldn’t believe, and as a result of this taking him for walks has never been pleasant. I had tried a choke chain (which i did not really want to use), a normal body harness and i also tried a gentle leader head collar, which worked for the first 5 minutes, after that Caden decided he was not going to wear this, and spent the whole time we were out walking, pawing at his muzzle in the attempt to get it off, which inevitably, he did! apart from that he almost dislocated my shoulder in the process.
So i ordered a company of animals non-pull harness, after reading quite a few of the reviews by various other poor dog owners who were at the end of their tethers! ok it arrived quickly well packaged, and after a couple of minutes working out how to put it on him (and i have to say, he gave me the look of “oh no now whats she brought me! but he did sit still and let me put it on with no trouble whatsoever!) we ventured out the front door, (now normally he pulls me off the front door step whilst im trying to lock the door)and set off for our walk. He actually walked beside me, not ahead of me, ok he did pull a little but nothing like he usually did. we both enjoyed our walk, and i didnt have to correct him once. I have to say there was a vast improvement. I would recommend this harness to anyone who is having a pulling problem with their dog.

This is the second time I have bought the same make of Non-pull dog harness. I have tried an assortment of control aids for my mad Jack Russell and this style is the most successful. In fact, he wore out the first one, I mended it and finally lost it somewhere unknown. Nothing stops my dog pulling when he sees a furry animal, but at least the harness gives me good control when he hits “the Zone.” The soft padding around the under-arm straps is a good, humane addition that prevents the straps from cutting into him. the harness works for us so I can recommend it. In addition, the company offered it at an affordable price and sent it very promptly.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI have a large German Shepherd who would literally pull me off my feet if i attempted to walk him. I ordered this harness, after reading the reviews, and thought well i will try anything. Ordered it one afternoon and received it the next morning. That was impressive in itself. I immediately put the harness on the dog and took him for a walk that was pleasurable for both of us and the first time ever I felt as though I was taking the dog a walk and not the other way round. The amount of times that dog has had me on my backside are many but I feel this harness is the answer to my problems. Brilliant product and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend i

My Border Collie has pulled relentlessly for all 8 years of her life. Our walks have been a battle of wills with several arm injuries for me. I have never stopped trying new ways of curtailing her, but have failed at every turn. My neighbour recommended this non pull harness. From the very first step she has stopped pulling, just as if someone had waved a magic wand. My prayers have been answered. We now both enjoy calm, long walks together. I recommended the harness to a colleague at work for her Jack Russell. She experienced the same result. Magic. We don’t know how it works but the dogs seem much calmer and the Jack Russell is not even bothered when the buses rush by him now! The product is well made and fairly priced and no more nasty lead around the throat.I even use it on a flexi lead. Hooray, hooray!!

bought this for my boxer pup, he was not at all impressed with his last harness, and would run a mile when i came to put it on him, and death roll all the time when he had it on, with this, he hardly seems to notice it is even on, it is so easy to slip on and off, and so easily adjusted if i need to pop it on top of his coat, the mesh front supports his chest better than the strap, but it is still breathable so he does not get all sweaty, the padded bits under his arms stops chaffing, being a boxer he likes his comforts, the only thing i might say against the pads are they do sometimes slip back as they are not attached to the front or straps, so i do find myself checking they have not slipped when he’s been out running around alot, but that would be easily remedied with a needle and thread and it may just be my preference, i can understand why they are not attached at the same time, over all very impressed, the med size will fit him until he is fully grown, i initially bought the large, but even with the harness fully in it was too large and was even too big for my mums fully grown dog fully pulled in, the med i think is the perfect size range for my boxer, and he is going to be a big boy

Absolutely fabulous piece of kit! Bought this for my 9 month old Veimaraner pup who is very strong and enjoys pulling me along. The change was instant; she went from chocking herself with a normal slip lead to walking calmly. I have been trying to train her not to pull but she gets so excited when being put on a lead that we haven’t been able to break the cycle of pulling. This has enabled us to keep her calm enough to listen to what she is told.

I was unsure how this could ever work and was worried by some of the other comments but the part around her lower chest has fluffy covers on it so we haven’t experienced any injuries under her legs and there is a sliding tightener on the part that where all the cords come together so you can stop the harness from getting large enough for the dog to chew the buckles. All in all I am very pleased and would highly recommend this harness.

As for the comment about training and responsible owners; It saddens me that you have been scared by a dog at some point in your life but not all dog owners are irresponsible, just as not all reviews are relevant to a purchase.
Come on Amazon sort it out, reviews should be customer comments about purchases not personal observations on life!!!

I bought this after recommendation by my cousin, but read the reviews before purchase and was quite disbelieveing of how it seemed to transform a strong dog to one who was a pleasure to walk. The price didnt seem to match the effect as it was quite inexpensive – so I thought no money wasted if it doesn`t work. However, after day 3, my dog WAS transformed into a dog who was a pleasure to walk! I can`t believe it! He does still pull when he sees something he wants eg a bit of food, another dog or a child, but he is only a pup and will learn – generally it`s such an amazing difference that I`m delighted. He is now happy to put it on, and I am happy to walk him, even allow my kids to take him out now. Would I recommend this? DEFINATELY!!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Usershis is a fantasic product, and so simple. I have a 3 year old Rottweiler who would walk lovely until we met someone we knew then she would pull me across a road to get there first, or when she spyed a cat. I have told everyone I know with a dog to get this harness. I am 10 stone and have to use a stick to walk, my dog is approx., 7 stone, and a quite power house when she wants to be one, but not with this harness. The affect was immediate, no pulling at all, have used it everyday since I got it about month ago. I was unsure about it but thought I’d give it a go at that price, what a bargin. If you have a large dog I would whole heartedly recommed you get this product. Happy walkies

I purchaced one of these for my terrier Pearl who from a puppy always pulled continuously, I tried everything to stop her, training lead, bribery with treats, nothing worked. My other terrier Ruby was a dream at walking on the lead so Pearls pulling was making a pleasent walk a nightmare!!!
After injuring my back I found it impossible to take pearl out so I had to find something to stop her pulling, this harness has been a godsend, the first time I put it on her and attached the lead she bolted forward and………..stopped. She couldn’t pull me, I was stunned! the walk was the most pleasent in years, I couldn’t believe it.
Sadly I lost my Ruby at christmas, bone cancer at thirteen, so theres just me and Pearl but our walks are lovely now.
If you have a puller buy this harness, you will not be dissapointed.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLight weight , very quick and easy to put on.

I have two small dogs, one short haired and one long haired and this is a bit of a problem as the dog with the long hair get its caught in the pull down attachment at the base of her neck/ back area, so back to the old lead for her!! Our other dogs has no problems and walks much better too.

It is such a FAB PRODUCT, so quick to use , i do recommend to all who have dogs that pull who are of shortish hair lenght to invest. I’m glad I did.

My friend uses one of these on his ‘nightmare of a puller’ Border Collie. My greyhounds have always been walked on collars, but when I adopted a new girl, it turned out she was a sheep chaser. She pulled out of her collar one day and caught hold of a sheep. I tried martingale collars, but still, she broke free. So I bought the Medium size of this harness, and it is brilliant, I cannot fault it at all!

It fits well, is a nice design, and best of all, she cannot get loose unless I actually let her out of it. I’m going to buy another one for my Lurcher pup, she doesn’t need it as such, but I just feel it is secure for sight-hounds especially.

The only downside…can we have some different colours please Sporn?

The product claims very clearly that it is a “non pull harness” which in our case is not true. We have a working cocker spaniel who is very lively and pulls a lot on the lead no matter what. I bought the harness which I thought at the time made a rather bold statement as to its effectiveness. The harness is not too bad really as it has cut down on our boys pulling rather a lot. I would say about seventy per cent effective. A good result compared to how things were and we are well pleased overall.I would recommend it but to say that it is a “non pull” harness is not correct. Maybe on some dogs, but not on ours.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWell..I was sceptical about this product, but my daughter gave me a 10 Amazon voucher for Chrimbo so I thought what the heck and put it towards two of these. I have two nine month old staffies and they dragged me around the block every time I took them out for a walk (or as I would say – a tugathon). My calf muscles and right arm would ache every time I came back.
But now…I can’t believe it – they are not the same two arm-dislocating, straining and wheezing (through collar throttling) varmints. It’s miraculous…it’s all stopped. It’s a pleasure to walk them now. The leads are slack, all tugging and ‘flat out who can get home first’ has stopped.
I dare say reading the reviews it won’t work for every dog – but it worked spectacularly with mine and in my opinion is well worth the few quid to find out. Best Christmas present ever!

Golden Review Award: 103 From Our UsersI have a dog who pulls on his lead, making taking him for a walk an absolute nightmare. I bought a harness which made no difference, he still pulled and I had given up. I saw this on amazon and thought I would give it a try, as it doesnt fasten round his neck….what an amazing difference. It was the first enjoyable walk I have had since getting the dog. Even the children were able to take control and walk him….a great product, and I would recommend to anyone!
