Cracking polisher for the money. Im a fairly competent DIY car enthusiast and have had basic polishers before but decided to try a DA one. Tried this at the weekend on my van and it works a treat. The accessories it comes with a great and its a nice machine to use. Brilliant first polisher for someone.
Bought this on a recommendation from the AutoAlex Youtube Channel. This is a very comprehensive kit and contains everything and more I need to polish my car easily and effectively. Tons of accessories supplied and even a spare set of brushes for the motor!
Power cable is long and made of a soft-feel compound that will not damage paintwork as you’re moving around the car. Appears to be a high quality product.

Comprehensive kit.
There is nothing I dislike about this kit. It has a nice long power lead, lots of extras and a nice sturdy tool bag to keep it all in. I tow a caravan and the front fiberglass panel has become dull. I’ve tried several products to restore the shine to no avail. This kit restored the shine without difficulty.

This was really good value for the money and for all the extra stuff you get with it. It made my car look lovely but above speed 3 on it, the vibration does get a bit intense. I was able to get a good finish on my car by not really going above this speed though its not really an issue. Its a product I’m happy with and will keep.

Better quality than expected for a hobbyist polisherA
A solid machine that came with lots of accessories (cutting, polishing and finishing pads in both 5″ and 6″ sizes, sanding discs, polishing mit, microfiber cloth, two small bottles of compound, a storage bag and a branded apron!).
I have never done any machine polishing before but after watching several YouTube videos I felt brave enough to give it a go. The machine worked perfectly and completely removed the scratch that had been annoying me.
Preparation is key, though. Thoroughly wash and clay the car before using the polisher.
All I needed
Bought this long time ago but had a chance to use it just now. I always knew I will have to fix the rust on the rear wheel arch on my car. It grew massively after last winter After sanding, priming, base coat and clear coat (first time for me – never painted a car) I was left with a distinct line where the clear coat stopped by the masking tape. I did use a blender but there shouldn’t hace been a masking tape at all I now know how to avoid this but the polisher fixed it! I got 3000 grit and wet sanded the line on the panel. Then used cutting and polishing compound that I bought from a leading UK company and voil.. what a difference! A miracle.
Now I am forced to polish the whole car as you can clearly see the difference between the polished area and the rest.
Using the polisher was easy. Do not put too much pressure. Just glide. Use low rpm – I started on 1-2 and then went to 3 when I got a little braver. No need to rub too much on one place – just steady slow movement. Wipe the panel with the included glove and repeat if necessary. I have to say using polishing compound after cutting compound made a huge difference.
Anyway, I hope this helps someone in my boat and encourage them to try. The good thing about this kind of repair is if you are not happy you can alway sand off and redo it all. Good luck!
Awesome dual action polishe
A brilliant piece of kit , bought this after reading the reviews, especially from the USA Amazon site. I have used rupes and plex in the past , great machines but nowhere near the value for money that I am getting from the SOTA machine, very well made , good balance and manageable weight , comes with an assortment of extras , pads , polish, bag , apron , I have just polished my car roof , and it’s come up perfect, used Meguiars compound and Koch chemie 3.02 finishing polish , the only negative is the grease used in the machine, I replaced it with white lithium grease , which makes the machine run smoother and quieter, I highly recommend this machine, as for durability only time will tell .
Great polishing tool
Works incredibly well. Excellent range of products accompanying the tool. Did cost me 2x resprayed and bumpers through as I applied too much pressure with cutting agent. So be careful when using. No hesitation in recommending, excellent!
I most say, am not a professional in polishing car, and I have never done this before. But using that polisher, I found it easy to use and my car looks fantastic.

Great kit easy to use Good value for product. Comes with everything you need to start paint correction or polishing in a handy bag have now used a handfull of times works very well.only thing I would say it vibrates more than I thought it would overall Good bit of kit for amateur.

Easy to use and not too heavy like some reviews I’ve read. Did the whole car with a cut and polish and looked amazing!! All the little accessories included and the bag to store it all in are great. Can’t comment on the included pads as I wanted high quality ones so had already bought rupes ones to use.
