Feels very solid now it’s constructed, assembly instructions aren’t the best but eventually made sense! Feels rock solid. It misses having a brake to keep it in place when opening the sliding hatches as they ideally need to be at the top and also doesn’t look the easiest to get the compost out as the opening aren’t that big. Overall I’d recommend but with the caveat it could be difficult to get the compost out. Mines coming along nicely especially now I’ve added about 2000 red worms to help it along! Lots of rich looking material now

Just put mine together, no problem, good quality heavy duty material. Lots of nuts and bolts but worth it in the end.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersYou need to be a patient person to put this together
Instructions in Chinese English speak didn’t help, could have been clearer on sequencing of assembly
After trial and error I worked out for myself the best way to assemble
The centre dividing baffle (it is in 2 halves) was awkward to get in the right position as the grooves in to which it fitted were very shallow
Had a stiff drink when finished assembling
Used it for 2-3 weeks now, seems ok so far?

Easy to tumble once assembled and filled, compact with two separate compartments

Loving this. I rotate it every time I walk by it. Much easier than having to get a spade out to mix my compost. Easy to put together in an hour.

More detailed assembly instructions would have been useful, however after a couple of false starts I worked it out. Found construction a little fiddly, but then at 68 and with arthritic fingers everything is
Have to say once complete it looks like a sturdy piece of kit and I’m looking forward to see how it performs.

It was a little tricky to assemble with about 56 screws and bolts (I’m no DIY expert to be fair, use a screwdriver and think about the order you are putting the panels in, made it harder on myself putting them in in a random order – oops) but once assembled it looks the part and turns nicely. Time will tell if it keeps the rodents away (the reason why I bought this!) My husband did say it looked like I was building the Death Star but looks a bit more like a wingless tie fighter (it’s not massively big), so I’d tuck it away somewhere less obvious.

This is much bigger than I thought it would be (my bad) but it’s really good for the price. Assembly is a bit fidgety but overall easy enough. The two sections mean you can have different composts ones the go, pretty good

I was worried putting this together that it seemed so flimsy but as with most things when you put the last part in it’s very sturdy. I work methodically in everything I do and this took about an hour to assemble. Nothing to dislike at the mome

    Great produc

Assembly of the central divider was a bit fiddly and I could have done with longer arms when I was tightening nuts inside but other than that it went together very quickly.
It’s been filled for about 3 weeks and although it’s the middle of winter the contents are definitely compacting. Very easy to rotate to aid aeration, a bit like a large tombola.

I feel that many similar products to this are very overpriced. Yes, I could have got a simple composter and then gone and turned the whole heap over regularly, but realistically I would never have got round to it enough in cold and wet weather.
This one is so simple, and as it’s above ground, I don’t need to worry about rats etc.
I am a complete DIY novice, but found it very straightforward to put together. Time-consuming = yes, because the numerous screws are small and fiddly, but not difficult. It took me probably the best part of two hours, but it feels sturdy and robust, and definitely worth it.

We had been looking for a compact way of composting kitchen and garden waste and this model had been well reviewed. It takes a bit of time to put together some of the screws were a little fiddly, but once finished it becomes a very sturdy device which appears well made. We put some partly composted material in one side and are filling the other side with fresh material, so for us it is ideal and so far working well.

I bought this product in October 2020, fitted it together over a couple of sessions ! Read the instructions and make up in the order given … only catch is needing long arms to reach inside housing the nuts. Make sure you check the drill holes inside for debris two or three of my panels had been drilled with a duff bit and had plastic waste stopping the nuts from settling properly.
60 litres per side is just about sufficient to maintain heat, placing it in a sunny spot will considerably improve efficiency. It certainly dribbles liquid ( especially after rain) but what an advantage ! Catch it in a large garden tray or bucket and hey presto liquid feed !! I am filling it with part composted material from an ongoing boxed heap plus kitchen waste, grass clippings, chicken manure when I can get it and other garden waste and in summer it has a turnover time of about 6 weeks reducing to abt half volume, good enough for mulching on a regular basis in my veg garden.

Composts in no time. Downside is that it does drip ‘compost water’ which killed the grass underneath. It’s better on a hard surface but will need a bucket/basin underneath, to catch the water.

My husband built this, thinking it would be easy. I’m not sure what was difficult but he said it was really difficult to put together, though once done it’s brilliant. Really helps with the composting as spinning it helps speed up the process. It’s a great size too. I would definitely buy another, but I’d build it!!!!

I found it fiddly to assemble on my own and when I got to the last panel it did not fit properly. I had to get longer screws to fix the last 3. The diagrams were not of the best quality.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVery impressed by the quality of this product. I’ve only just put together so can’t comment on the composting yet but wanted to let you know that it’s pretty easy to put together (you’ll need a Philips screwdriver for the main body and a 10mm socket/spanner/pliers to connect to the frame). It feels nice and sturdy. It spins freely when empty but can’t comment on when it’s full but it has grips for turning so should be fine. After a lot of research this was the one I chose as other tumblers seem to have an issue with turning when full. Overall very pleased but will have to wait and see what the compost comes out like.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersTook about half an hour to assemble which was simple enough. I filled up both sides straight away and it is really sturdy and very easy to turn. Seems like good quality, doubt vermin can get into it with it being off the ground. So far cant fault it. Thinking of buying a second one.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI took little time when assembling and it was easy to put them together by pretty clear instructions.I put kitchen scraps, a little peat moss, chicken manure and a small amount of compost starter. So far, I’m filling and spinning my compost bin every other day or so. It’s starting to fill up a bit, after about 3 weeks of use. Instructions on composting were pretty clear, but I did a little investigation on my own, too. Hoping this works because it’s pretty easy and you’d be surprised how much veggie waste one family creates that isn’t going into the landfill because of this compost bin.
