    Excellent set,
The Strimmer function is great, as for the chainsaw attachment, have cut up many fallen trees, does use a full tank of chainsaw oil every hour or so.
Not tried the hedge trimmer or brush cutter yet, but if the rest is anything to go by, awesome.
Mix ratio is 40-1, choose a good quality 2stroke oil, pump the fuel primer 3 times before starting, if using the choke, even in cold weather, it will start for a couple of seconds, soon as it starts to stall, push the choke downwards.
    Highly recommend this item indeed.

Heavy but ok if you don’t have to lug it about far! Which I unfortunately do

Seen the other reviews and think I need to defend this saw.I had 50 bit trees down due to storm Barra and this coped more than well.More than 10 tonnes of logged trees later I am sure I would buy another. Have used all of the main manufacturers over the years (which are sometimes 300% more expensive),yet if you get the fuel mix correct this is now my go to medium sized work horse.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI like the easy way it starts however when the cutting cord brakes it is near inposabul to undo the screw cap to adjust it also it doesn’t take other universal attachments if I had known this I wouldn’t have bought this machine

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersDespite clean air filter and deep clean of engine, my last strimmer took a while to start and then kept overheating and losing power and so purchased a new one. Having read other reviews, I echoed the sentiment of one that Stanley are a trusted brand. The product was easy to assemble and to my relief started almost immediately. I am also very pleased with the idle facility, which allows you to view the cord length without having to turn the engine off. If I have a negative, and its very minor, the cord it was supplied with was short and needed replacing quite quickly.

Golden Review Award: 40 From Our UsersSo it is very, very light for a petrol strimmer. You will not need a strap for it and that’s just as well because unusually for a petrol strimmer there is no hook for one fitted.
Easy start means just that and that’s good.
It is petrol so more powerful than an electric strimmer although that said it is not that powerful for a petrol strimmer. I noticed other reviews have said the opposite but I work as a groundsman and in my experience that is just not the case and this strimmer is at the lower end of the scale powerwise (for a petrol).
All that said it will still do the job easily and I would absolutely recommend it for home use.
This is a great strimmer for home use, it is a well designed, well made high quality product that is very modestly priced. What you lose in power (that again most people don’t need) you make up for with reduction in weigh, manoeuvrability and price.

The spool and head is a well designed system, its auto feed with a screw on retainer very simple and really hard to get wrong. The head has good brass eyelets that are well fitted and inset / moulded to the head so no chance of losing them. One of the better less fiddly systems that makes it a lot easier when changing or replacing cord.

All in all an excellent product.

Very quick delivery, item arrives ready to use, very lightweight and quiet compared to previous petrol hedge trimmers I’ve had in the past.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersEasy start, well made motor, good accessories. Had a slight problem with inner shaft on extension pole, but not when not using it, it slid about inside the tube making connection difficult. Unable to find supplier when I need a new strimmer line as you do not stock them. Putting everything together was fiddly initially, but OK once done.
