We think this is great.
The thing I like most about this is how sturdy it is, it goes together very well, and feels stable and solid, even under energetic bashing, sorry, playing..
another very cool thing, is that it actually has proper sounds, the drums are actually drums, I don’t know what I was expecting, but the drums are better than I thought they would be, and the 2 have decently different sounds.
The drum sticks are a decent size, and feel strong, like they can handle what will be thrown at them, which I think is good, because they’ll last.
The overall quality feels very good, the wood is nice, and the finish across the whole thing is very good, the subtle colours and cool owl design is nice too, it’s not too loud but doe s I think give it more of a finished look.
This is basically a lot of fun, and very popular, so for me, thats the important thing, great bit of kit.

I really like the quality of the instruments BESIDES the drums – very poor material, both of them broken on the first day. Most important: my son loves it, is having fun by himself or with his friend and is already driving me crazy with all the noises around the house.
I bought this set for my grandson and he loves them, always the first toys to come out at my house and we have a lot of fun making some noise. More of a toy than instruments you could actually learn to play
These are great about being entertaining and engaging but not requiring batteries. It will keep kids busy as long as you understand there will be noise but kids should come with noise obviously.

We got these for our one year old and he loves playing with them. Loads of instruments in the bag and most look really sturdy. The drum handle on the drum with the bangy bits came off when our little one was playing with it so that’s the only reason for deducting 1 point.

I think toys at this age range can be a thankless task. They are often dispensed with after weeks or months, and tend to only really satisfy the need to get a gift for gift’s sake. This however is fantastic. The build quality of the instruments is great, and has been a really popular gift for my 4 year old nephew. His 2 year old brother is now really getting into it too. There are a range of musical options, all of which bring a satisfying level of noise. A really brilliant introduction into music and a fantastic gift idea for children.

Each of the instruments in this set appear to be well crafted. This was purchased for 4 family members ranging in age from 5 to 12, and there was something for everyone to be interested in. I was very happy with this set, and hope the kids will use it to play together along with their favorite songs.
Les instruments font un bon son, ils ont une jolie finition. Le manche du petit tambour a tendance partir, je pense mettre un point de colle, de manire gnrale ce n’est pas extrmement solide mais suffisamment pour tre utilis avec un enfant en faisant attention. Pour le prix c’est trs correct.

Bought for our daughter she was 1 and a half, and she’s been banging them around for nearly 6 months now and everything’s still in surprisingly good condition! Recorders a bit naff is the only downside but for the price I think everything else is great value for the quality

Our three year old loves these instruments. It was seemingly nonstop fun and noise for a couple weeks, and now gets about the same use as other toys which is pretty good for the price. The little spin drum handle disconnected from the drum the first day, but I just used gorilla glue and it was fixed in no time. We may have been rough on it, and they’re otherwise good quality instruments for kids.

Loved it, but on the drum, it came unglued at the handle. Everything else was perfect and showed up quickly. Everything was separately wrapped it plastic.
Purchased for my friends 2 year old daughter, she loved it. I loved that it was environmentally sound, my friend and husband loved that it made so much noise (ha!).
The instruments were small and beautifully made, looked like they would last the test of time and a 2 year olds hands. They made all the right sounds and had a cute little storage bag to put it all in. Only let down is that each item was individually wrapped in plastic inside the box. 🙁

The tambourine had to be put on a shelf because the cover is too thin for music-making. The rest of the instruments are sturdy enough for use by the age group they are manufactured for.

I sent this to my little granddaughter who is a little under 18 months old. They got it yesterday and I got to have a video call with them last night and watch her delight in all these great instruments. Her parents were enjoying them too 🙂 They’re very well built and smooth. No paint (which I like) and they come with a nice bag for storage. I foresee years of fun with these as she matures.

My granddaughter is 14 months old and she enjoys this set! Would recommend the put 2 moraccas instead if just one. I would recommend this.
Overall quality is nice. However please be sure to be watching your little one play especially if baby still puts things in his/her mouth. The stick with the ball at the end came off when my 10 month old put it in his mouth. Appears the ball wasn’t glued like the other piece. Just be extra careful.

Little one loves playing with the instruments. I like that they are made of natural, durable materials and like the storage bag. We’ve used these for a couple of months only but so far so good.
My one year old grand nephew loves his first musical kit, bringing big wreaths of his smiles with full of delight. None of any brashing/trashing arms, he looked like a proper budding musician.
Very nice set for the price. After checking them over before gifting to my nephew, they are well made with no rough edges. I didn’t see any putty as other reviews have put. Only mark down is why is everything individually wrapped in plastic when the rest of the product is trying to be eco friendly?

It’s a fabulous set of instruments that our granddaughter aged1 loves to play with. Well built and study it’s given her hours of fun (and noise!).
The wood instruments are made well. I was worried that the drum and tamborine fabric would tear, but it is really well made. Just the flute isnt the best, kids wont mind as long as it makes a noise.
I wasn’t sure what to expect as I’m not musical but my grandchildren have loved these and make great noises with them. The youngest doesn’t always use as intended but that’s part of the fun. They appear ( the instruments)to be coping well with it.

Purchased this as a Christmas present for my 1 year old nephew and it’s lovely! Was a bit hesitant because of some of the reviews, but I was stuck for a present so took a gamble and it really paid off! The instruments are so nicely made from good quality wood (no rough edges, all smooth) they were even a hit with the adults!

I was really excited to get my little boy some wooden instruments, and these did not disappoint. Beautifully made and looks very sturdy. He loves them! I was just really disappointed each instruament was wrapped in plastic. I specifically wanted wood to avoid plastic. Completely unnecessary to wrap in plastic.

You ask a friend as you do not have kids of your own; what is the loudest, and most annoying present that you can buy your nearly one year old niece that will annoy the hell out of your brother, and sister in law in a prelude to buying the electric guitar, and drum kit for Christmas this was recommended by more than one colleague, one even saying that it may never see the light of day, being put up in the attic forever! That aside my niece loves it and has mastered the shaking the bells etc. so well worth the enjoyment factor from getting vids of her playing with the instruments and would recommend buying.
Bought for my granddaughter who is 3 years she loves them. Handles them well, very sturdy and hard wearing. Good all round. Eco friendly.Would buy again.
They are good, but only one maraca is supplied but two hand bells? My little boy hasn’t played the hand bells at all, but commented on only one maraca. There is no snare drum & the sticks are of different lengths. I’d get rid of the handbells, include a small snare drum & two identical sticks.
The only thing I personally would change is the things on a long handle I would perhaps glue before hand or think of a better design as they kept falling off so glued them in. Apart from that, great item.
I bought this for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it. Everything is really well made. I saw a review that said the opposite. Not sure what they had delivered but the quality of the ones I have is excellent and safe for kids. At 30 not cheap but for wooden toys you can’t complain. I had plastic, cheap toys so I’m very happy.

I would have given 5 stars because everything is great EXCEPT for the hand drum with the beads. It came apart realitively easily when my daughter pulled on the strings pulling out the extreme thumb tacks that held them on. The handle also fell out. Everything else is great quality and very durable.
Watch the hand drum with the two beads. My 3 yr old grandson pulled them off on day 1. Attached with small tacks. Could possibly present a choking hazard. The drum works fine without the beads, just use one of the mallets.
