Very nice set! Bought it for my one year old. We put some of the items aside until he gets a bit older— specifically the mallets with balls on the end. They appear sturdy but I don’t want to take a chance with choking. Knocked off a star because the set we received included a couple different items than pictured

My little boy loves these instruments. The majority of them are of high quality and a good standard however one of the instruments is not suitable for young children as within a few minutes of playing the tassel part fell off the hand drum – and left a sharp tack exposed.

My Grandsons aged just 4 and almost 1 really enjoy these . They are just right for small hands and make interesting sounds. They are well made and good looking as are the musical instruments. Just buy a set for a young person you know.

This set is just great! My baby is super excited and everybody likes the sound(except neighbours). Good quality and clean design. As I am trying not to buy plastic toys – I only hope that wood comes from sustainable forestry.

Tambourine not for babies
The tambourine is not built safe. Dangerous for babies at the stage of putting everything in their mouth. Within an hour of receiving a small chip come away from the wood leaving the pin inside the metal clackers out. This needs to be manufactured more safely. The rest of the items are fine and good value.

The set was great value for money at the reduced price I got it for (open box/used) and my boy will have fun with this for years to come. The recorder/flute did not work though in our pack which is a shame.

Bought these for my daughter’s second birthday. I was keen to get her some musical instruments that weren’t just plastic baby toys, and was not disappointed – the quality of these wooden instruments is surprisingly good for the price. Some pretty good sounds from them and they have stood up to all her punishment so far, would recommend.

We have had these for a couple months now. They are holding up very well. The only item that has broken was the Damasas (drum on a stick) but that is the fault of our toddler, not the craftsmanship; I was able to glue it back together. The instruments are a nice variety and come in a cloth synch sack. I would be willing to pay more if they were made in the USA.

We have made this for a school project they seem to be really good going to order another set for another school project .This will give the children a learning on musical instruments and the different sounds these are smaller then I thought but the children can play this on a stand

This is an unbelievably good product! They’re really really well made. Think child size musical instruments, not toy instruments. They pack away into a small bag aswell. I would like to write more about how good they are but that says it all. If they were twice the price they would be worth it! I was a professional musician and would have been happy to use these in the studio or on stage because of the sound and build quality.

All the instruments look well made and solid. Cannot say if the Grandchildren love them as when these were delivered, the Country went into lockdown again, hence no little ones round to put to the test. For me and the wife they look great and a wide selection of musical wooden toys to play with. With regards to quality I can not say at the moment as they are still in the handy storage bag.

This is a lovely selection of very well made, wooden musical instruments. Don’t know the names of all of them but there are about a dozen different instruments to blow, bang, shake, ring and rattle! My grandchildren love them……enough said!
This is a beautiful gift. Old school musical instruments anyone in their 50s will remember all the instruments inside the box and shake, blow and bang along with the child they bought it for.

Very impressive array of instruments. Solid construction. My granddaughter has been standing on the tambourine and hand drum and they have held firm. No concerns about safety as far as I can see, certainly no poly filler in sight. Yes, it’s possible the wooden balls could, in theory, come off the hand drum so do check they are on firm. We get on the floor and play with my granddaughter as we want to encourage her. The flute does play a reasonably good scale although it is not a recorder as such. The chime bar is gorgeous, as are all parts.

Good wooden instruments for kids but need to get rid of the plastic bags
I bought this item as I didn’t want to get anything plastic. Item arrived in a nice cotton bag but all wooden instruments were in a each individual plastic bags which baffled me. Wooden instruments are good quality and very happy with them all so shame about the plastic bags. If they got rid of the plastic bags then I’d give them full 5 stars.

I love this set of instruments. Really lovely quality and my daughter loves them. I bought them for my music lessons as part of homeschooling. My only complaint is the flute. I think it’s going to give me a nervous breakdown lol. Would prefer to swap it for a triangle. But seriously I’m incredibly happy with this purchase.

Bought this for our two-year-old. Quality seems good for the price; most of the pieces seem like they will last a long time, even with heavy use. Overall very happy with this set!
A few things to note:
-Like other reviewer have said, the balls on the drum are not secured very well.
-If the cord that suspends the chime breaks, there isn’t a way to replace it. Also the chime sounds EXACTLY like iPhone’s “Note” alert (which I guess isn’t bad, but was really confusing initially…haha!).
-If you’re hoping to play a real song on the flute, know that the notes are inaccurate.
-The maraca is very quiet.
