I installed this rack in my garage which has block walls. If it wasn’t for having to drill into the concrete blocks, I could have had this installed within 20 minutes. It is lightweight, but very sturdy.

This is a really good bike rack. As advertised, you can easily get 5 bikes on this rack really condensing the amount of space needed. The steel it is made from is super strong and easily supports the weight of the bikes with no bending. I hung mine on a cinder block wall in my garage so I had to do my own screwing system with concrete anchors but that was no problem to adjust and make work. With all the bikes on, I am not concerned at all that they will fall or anything like that. Nice.

This is a really strong and well made bike rack. It holds our grown up bikes off the ground keeping the garage floor clear. We only have 2 bikes on the rack but could easily fit another one or two. Really pleased with this. Might buy another one for the kids.

This is a solid bike rack. It is easy to install and is pretty sturdy. It needs to be about 6-12 inches longer though. It will hold 5 bikes, but you will have to alternate between handlebars up and handlebars down.

Pretty straight forward bike rack. Two stud-mounted brackets and a bar going through, but man does it feel sturdy. I’m using it for two full-size mountain bikes (29 and 26 in.), a 26 in. cruiser, and a 20 in. kids bike and it looks great. Cleared up about two feet of floor space from having them lined up on the floor. Only “complaint” would be that there’s nothing locking the bar in place but the hooks…though the weight of the bikes put enough pressure on the bar that it’s not needed, but more of a mental issue before any bikes go on it since it slides. Can’t really see it fitting five bikes for me, but that’s a story for another day…

It was very quick to install did it by myself and would say less than 15 min.
Worth taking a few minutes and make sure you know how high you want it to be, looking at all your bikes.
I had to re-hang mine when I forgot one bike has a kid’s seat attached that made the bike longer.

I have 5 bikes on mine, 2 adult bikes, one a cruiser with a kids seat on the back. 2 kids bikes and a kids bike tandem attachment. They all fit but tight, but that what I wanted as to not waste space.

I like that its easy to adjust where the hangers are.

In general a very well built, simple install.

    I would recommend it.

To say this holds 5 bikes is kind of a stretch. With modern wide handlebars you wouldn’t be able to fit that many in a stable way. Even alternating bike directions the bars hit the saddle of the bike next to it.

It’s a great way to hold 4 bikes.

Oh, also the bikes I have hanging up are higher end road and gravel bikes with 46 or 44mm bars. When you hang multiple bikes of similar geometry in the recommended way, the bars and saddles touch and reduce storage.

    Still a great rack.

I received my item quickly but like some other reviewers stated, I encountered some fitment issues with the bar. I also received two mounts that were labeled as the “right side”. Lost a few points because there was no info about the mounting hardware (screw size) or even a suggested drill bit size. All in all I was able to hang my daughters bikes.

Easy installment. Product says it can hold 5 bikes, we had to squeeze our bikes on (3 children bikes 2 adult bikes). Sturdy, would recommend maybe only putting 3-4 bikes tho. I would buy another set to have more space for bikes to hang so we don’t have to cram them on one.

I got this delivered today and was able to get it bolted up to the wall and bikes installed in about an hour. Suggest you use a 5/32″ drill.bit to drill.a pilot hole and use a power driver or torque drill to drive the bolts in. I mounted mine 75″ off the floor which gives me about 8″ floor clearance for my longest bike. I was very doubtful that I would get all 5 bikes hung in just 46″ of length, but here ya go! Easy peasy! Highly recommend this.bike rack!!

This is great. One person install job and very straight forward. Right now I have 3 bikes on this all hung by the rear tire. I could see 5 bikes being crowded, but right now it’s doing its job as I only have 3 to hang. Love that this has increased storage space—I have the rack hung high in my garage so that the bikes hang above my parked SUV. I wouldn’t have a way to store the bikes otherwise. Great solution to a storage problem.

We liked the design and that we could hang it from the back of our shed. The vertical positioning of all of bikes saved space and makes accessing each easy.
We have 2 mountain bikes and 2 cruisers; and since we chose not to overlap them, our configuration wouldn’t have the space for a 5th bike. But it seems sturdy enough to hold 5, if you don’t have bulky cruisers or if you’re ok overlapping.
Overall, very happy with the purchase!

using it to hold up 4 bikes, width of studs in the garage made it harder to do 5 (luckily I really only need it to hold 4) – people complaining that it can’t hold more than 3 – you need to alternate hanging via front and back wheels to get the handlebars out of the way.

Super solid. I have 3 bikes and a bike carrier handing on it and hasn’t moved a millimeter.
It’s probably the easiest rack to install. What I also like is that it offers the shortest distance between the wall and the wheel of the bike, getting the bike as close as possible to the wall and saving overall space.

  21. Ravi Mandalia says:

Very simple and solid. Hardware is top notch. I screwed mine directly to the studs, which I would recommend for any rack of this type. The one thing I would point out is that, while it fits FOUR full-size bikes comfortably, I do not see how you’re getting FIVE bikes on this thing, unless they are little kiddie bikes. I wish it had been like a foot longer.

  22. Anonymous says:

Putting this up ended up being tricky as the bolts had to go into studs (that much I had figured was going to be needed), but the drill we have wasn’t strong enough to get the bolts all the way in. Had to use a ratchet to get all four in the rest of about an inch and a half. Otherwise SUPER sturdy. It hold all three of my kids bikes and my massive beach cruiser. I was nervous about it not holding all of them, but it did it without a problem! Would definitely recommend to everyone

I was skeptical at how sturdy this mount would be – especially to hang five adults bike from it. But it’s very sturdy, high quality, easy to mount and easy to adjust the hooks. I think it’s better suited for three to four bikes, but five bikes will fit. It’s difficult to hang so many bikes so close together; the handle bars bump into each other and get caught on each other because they’re so close. I would recommend buying two racks and spacing the bikes farther apart for five or more bikes. Overall it’s a really good purchase and helps keep my bikes up and out of the way during the winter.

Very easy install for anyone that is familiar with a drill and finding studs in the wall. Had my 17 yr old do most of the install and it’s great. I do recommend using a Level. Holds bikes of various sizes easy. If you have different size bikes make sure and adjust the height for the largest/longest bike.

This thing is great. It easily holds 2 gravel bikes, 2 mountain bikes, and 1 road bike. They need to be arranged so that one bike is handle bars up and the next is handlebars down, etc. but they definitely all fit and are easy to get up and down. I would recommend only mounting as high as you must though. My husband put this up kind of high and it’s tougher to get the bikes down because of it. I would also suggest putting something (like a tapestry?) on the wall behind it if you live in a rental because I’ve got some serious tire skid marks on the wall that will take some work to get off when we move out. That’s not the fault of the product but worth knowing.

This rack is what I was looking for. It’s more like a 3 bike rack, unless you don’t mind your bikes being right on top of each other. Gave me a lot more room in my garage. Great buy and highly recommend. Solid.

This unit fits my needs well. It was easy to mount to the wall, however I did find a couple of the pin holes for the bike hooks to not match up well and take some serious pressure to push the pin through. It took a little bit of time to adjust the rack to fit all five of my bikes on it, but once that was done, the bikes are relatively easy to mount/dismount. My only concern is the grey rubber protectant on the hook itself is bunching up under the pressure of the wheel/spokes. Being that it is winter, I haven’t mounted/dismounted the bikes much, but I am concerned that given time of multiple mountings, that this protectant with tear and come off. All-in-all, I’m happy with it.

Holds 4 bikes fine, I don’t see how a 5th bike would fit. Bomb proof if anchored correctly to wall studs.
Recommend placing ply-board or something similar where the bike tires make contact with the wall…my drywall has bike tread marks because i didn’t listen to other reviewers.

We found this product easy to assemble and mount in our garage. It held 5 bicycles without problems but would have wanted perhaps a little added length to separate the bicycles more to provide more ease and accessibility when hanging and removing bicycles. Otherwise a great product. Would purchase again.

My family of 5 lives in a small NYC apartment. With one kids bike, one small road bike, one medium mountain bike, one large road bike, and another XL road bike, we were completely out of space. We have one closet that is about as wide as this bracket is long. I mounted it through the ceiling into two wooden beams using the provided hardware and when I was complete I was able to hang my full 200lb weight from it without seeing it flex or budge. That was great news, since the next step was to hang 4 bikes totaling 200 lbs from it! As long as you stagger them front-wheel to back-wheel, you can EASILY fit all 4, with an extra bracket for adjusting them left or right as needed for easy access. We’ve had this up for over a year and have seen absolutely no impact on our ceiling, bikes, or hanger. It’s perfect for our family, couldn’t be happier!

UPDATE: Received the new order and this time in the original packaging with all the parts.

The installation was not difficult and took less than an hour. I put 3 bikes on the rack including 2 mountain bikes. Overall I’m satisfied with the product despite the issues with the first order received.

I opened the box and found the mounting screws were clearly used in a previous installation. One of the five storage attachments was also missing. Considering the box only contains about 10 parts I shouldn’t be receiving used or missing parts.

I placed another order and will update this review following the next attempt.

Awesome concept and relatively good implementation. The tolerances on the wall bracket and bar were extremely tight which caused some difficulty in assembly. One of the bike brackets holes is slightly misaligned so the pin will not go through the rail and the bracket.

Once they get some of the little quality bugs worked out it will surely be worthy of a 5-star rating.

Bought this becuase I needed to free some real estate in the garage . Bikes were not used often and taking up space everywhere. Tried to use stand up mounts, but they were not stable and expensive .Also wanted to take advantage of my 16 foot ceilings in garage and get them off the ground. Install in easy but for someone who can use a drill. You need a drill, tape measure, level, ladder, and pencil. One thing I wish I did was take in account where my side door was… it opens way to close to bike tires sticking out so keep that in mind in your set up. Overall, great solution to clean up bikes.

Easy to install and functions well. Only using it for 4 bikes (1 adult cruiser, 1 adult mountain bike, and 2 intermediate sized kids bikes) and I could not fit a 5th even with alternating bike positions. Not a problem, but unless you have 5 small to medium sized bikes i think it would be tough to fit them all and still maintain easy access.

This produce is extremely easy to install. It requires four holes to be placed in studs. The mounting brackets slide along the rail so it will work regardless of how far apart your studs are placed.
The rack has 5 hooks to hold 5 bikes. Five bikes do fit, however, it is a tight fit and you have to alternate front wheel up with back wheel up to make it work so that the handle bars don’t interfere with each other. I placed my rack 75″ off the ground and there is about 12″ of clearance between the bottom of my women’s bike and the ground when placed on the hook.
We have a wolftrax fat tire bike but the hook is not big enough to fit around that tire so we are unable to use this rack for that bike.

Great bike rack but not for fat tire bikes

We installed this rack a few month’s ago. It was hard to find a rack that would be able to hold our four mountain bikes with ease. I read a ton of reviews for everything that was being offered similar to this style and this was the only rack that came with solid feedback and was highly recommended. I want to add to the positive feedback for this rack. The install was really easy, and the rack has performed as promised and then some. The materials are more than strong enough to hold the four bikes and I have zero worry that the rack will fail. This is a solid, super well made rack at a fantastic price. There is a hook for one more bike if we need it in the future, but right now it easily fits the four bikes mounted head to tail so to speak. Thank you for designing such an awesome bike rack.

Super easy to use. One pin is slightly tight and bent. Actually fit 5 adult bikes on it in alternating directions, but if you put that many bikes on it you won’t be able to get the middle ones off without removing the outer ones. Still great for storage of seldom-used bikes.

This storage rack is perfect in my garage. It was mostly easy to install with adequate directions, I was able to put it up by myself without another person’s help. There was one part that didn’t connect very well with another piece and I almost thought that I’d need to call for support / exchange the part but with enough fuss and pushing / pulling / yelling at it… it finally connected together appropriately and once together it was perfect. I’ve been able to store 3 bikes and a trailer on it so far. I think you’d have to work pretty hard to get 5 bikes on it, but with some creativity you probably could..
Recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient hanging rack for their bikes.

The rack works just fine. It’s pretty easy to install on the wall. The one ding on it is that the pinholes on the hooks aren’t quite spaced right which caused an extremely tight fit when trying to push the pins through the hooks and through the main horizontal piece. I actually had to grab a mallet to drive them through.

I installed the Bike Rack several months ago and it has been a pleasure to use. Installation was a breeze and it’s very sturdy. I liked this rack so much I bought a similar rack from the same manufacturer for my tools recently. I used to have Elfa storage solutions in my garage in a previous home to hold bikes and it was overpriced and did NOT hold bikes well at all (the hooks would wobble). Price seems a bit on the higher end but it’s totally worth it.

Great value for storage for bikes in your garage. Unless you want to pay hundreds of dollars so that you can get a couple of “multi-bike lifters” (the ones that electronically lower your bikes from the ceiling with the touch of a button, which is what I would recommend if you are a rich person).

We spaced out 4 hooks evenly on our rack. Each bike faces the opposite direction to get them to fit correctly. I believe that if you were to fit 5 bikes on the rack, they would be very difficult to get on / off. Space wise, I think you should plan on it holding 4 bikes.

I knew hanging our bikes from the garage’s rafters or ceiling was not going to be an option; we didn’t have that kind of space. However, we did have wall space. We have four bikes: two beach cruisers (and one that’s rather large), one road bike, and a hybrid. (And our little one’s balance bike.) Getting each of them up and off the floor to give us some more shoulder room in our small-sized garage was important. The Omni Bike Storage Rack, then, was going to solve that problem. And it did.

The Omni Rack claims that it holds five bikes, and I’m sure that it could, dependent upon the types and the sizes of the bikes you own. For us, especially with my 29-inch beach cruiser and its extended handlebar span, we were able to only hang four bikes. If you’re creative, though, and hang a couple bikes by the rear wheel and a couple by the front, although it’s tight, they’ll fit nicely. But, again, for us, even if we had five bikes, the rack would not be long enough to hold them all. The solution, then, may be to order one more rack!

The rack is sturdy, sharp-looking, and a great space saver. We really are happy with it. And if we acquire any more bikes, and I am certain we will, we’ll just order another Omni.

I now have two racks side by side in the garage of our summer home and we’ve got 9 bikes hanging (3 mountain bikes, 3 beach cruisers, a bmx and 2 kids bikes). That maxes us out on space. Actually allows us to use the garage for other things. Would buy again 10 times over.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersPrice was right. Reviews were good. Got the item. Assembled it easily after finding my studs which for some reason were off.

I would give it 5 stars but there is no way you are fitting 5 bikes on here and getting them on and off easily. Yes my Fat Tire Bike takes two hooks to hold, but trying to get the bikes next to one another is a pain. If my son and daughter want their bikes down I can already hear the call of “dad I need your help”. Not because the bikes are heavy and won’t unhook, but because in doing so the handle bars catch one another. Its a great product but if you want to get multiple bikes on and off with ease frequently get two sets.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersA little more width would have helped significantly. I would have given 5 stars for a 60 inch width instead of 46 inch. The unit is very sturdy and the price for what you get is fair – no other racks will hold FIVE bikes for this amount. The width is perfect if all you have are road bikes with narrow (drop) bars. Every other bike should be hung with the bars up or down so the bars do not interfere with each other. However, I have several mountain and touring bikes with very wide bars, which definitely interfere with each other, even when mounted every other bar facing the same way up or down. If the main rack bar had been 60″ wide instead of 46″ then hanging (and especially retrieving) mountain bikes would have been a lot easier because there would be extra distance between hooks and I wouldn’t have to disentangle the bike I want to retrieve from a nest of handlebars from adjacent hanging bikes. That being said, the quality and strength is excellent. I bought two units for my ten bikes. The adjustable hooks are a great feature and I gave my favorite bikes a bit more room to make retrieving them easier. The hooks fit all my bikes from a 20″ wheel folder, to a mid-fat 27.5 mtb wheel.
I mounted this rack to a concrete block wall with 1/4 ” x 1-1/4 ” TAPCON concrete screws. You will need a hammer drill and a 3/16″ masonry bit to drill the holes 1-3/4″ deep. Make sure to blow out the dust from each hole before screwing in the anchors with a 5/16″ socket. Before buying, I had to contact Store Your Board a couple of times to find out their lag screw diameter and if it were possible to mount the rack to a block wall. The SYB company ought to publish this information – they’d sell more product if they did.
Of the two units I bought, one was perfect; in the other one the main rack bar was too tight a fit into the square holes in the brackets and I had to lightly file those holes because the black coating made the fit way too tight to slide in the main bar.
Another piece of information missing from the SYB instructions was how high on the wall the rack should go. This is a non-intuitive measurement because the hooks engage the wheel near the axle, but the bike comes to rest hanging somewhere above the axle, but it is not clear exactly where. The bike will drop down somewhat when the wheel is hooked. Frustratingly, I had to remount my whole rack because I did not allow enough “sag” to keep my longer bikes up off the floor despite repeated measuring and estimating the sag.
Here’s what I learned the hard way! To find the minimum height to put the rack bar, place your longest bike perpendicular to a wall so the front wheel is touching. Mark the floor three or four inches past the longest part of the bike’s rear as viewed from the top toward the floor. The height of the rack above the floor (measured from the hook center, which is also the center of the main rack bar) should be a MINIMUM of 92% of this length. My measurements were: longest bike allowing for room at the rear – 75 inches. Height of center of rack bar hooks above floor – 69 inches. This put my longest bike about three inches off the floor, and my shorter road bikes higher off the floor than that. If you want your bikes to have more room underneath, the raise the rack bar height accordingly. I’d give the Easy To Install five stars if SYB had included how to find the height above the floor which I had to learn the hard way by trial and error.
Overall, if you have lots of bikes, this rack is the most bang for the buck. If only SYB offered a longer 60 inch rack bar, it would be perfect for mountain bikes as well as your road bikes.

Perfect space saving device. I have 4 bikes hoisted up and out of the weigh creating a. lot more usable floor space in the garage. I could hang at least one more full size bike if I had one. Highly recommend.

The rack is attractive, minimalist, and functional. I don’t see how it could possibly hold 5 full-size bikes, however. Maybe if bikes were mounted with handlebars in alternating up/down order, it might work. Very happy with purchase, and it puts a smile on my face every time I walk by it.

Good item that holds its weight. Only issue is that I have full size mountain bikes and 5 adult bikes are tight. This would fit 4 adult bikes or 5 kids bikes rather than what I have… still a great bargain and sturdy enough to rate it at 4 stars.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEasy to install, good product quality, but, if you have Mountain bikes and specially 29res, you will be lucky if you can fit 4 bike on this rack at the same time even if you alternate upside down, street bikes and/or small bikes will be no problem. I have 5 mountain bikes all 29rs and fits only 3 bikes so you don’t scratch other bike or have to remove one or two bike to get to the one you need.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis bike rack is a good storage solution for getting bikes off the ground and freeing up floorspace in your garage. The installation was relatively straightforward and the product seems to be sturdy. However, if you’re storing more than 2 or 3 bikes, they will be quite crowded. I am not sure that 5 adult bikes will fit. Also, this rack is not an ideal storage solution for kids, who may lack the strength or the height to put their bikes away or get them down again. I’m glad to have purchased it, and relative to the other racks on Amazon, it seems like a good deal overall. SMTG

Great design. Easy to put together. Easily holding four children’s bikes. Probably 3 adult bikes would be the best, but hooks for five.

The bikes do not lay flat on the wall, they hang on hooks as if the bike is riding on the wall.

This took my wife and I about 10 minutes to install and you could do chin-ups on it. Super adjustable and easy for her to hang any bike on it. Pins keep hangers in place without worrying of coming off. Very happy with design, quality and ease of use. I would recommend this to anyone and would buy again.

I love this bike rack! I used a floor bike stand (which I also love) but really wanted to create more space in my garage. This was very easy to install. The directions were simple and well written. If your bikes are heavy you won’t enjoy getting your bikes on and off of it every day. Make sure you can mount it directly into wall studs. Drywall mollies are not recommended for this product.

After reading a lot of reviews, I pulled the trigger on this particular rack. I’ve used others in the past, but left them in our previous garage when we moved to a new home. I have to say that this is one of the easiest units to install that I have seen, and is extremely sturdy. I have five bags comfortably attached, and I don’t see any flex in the crossbar or movement in the hooks. All of these are fairly heavy mountain bikes, and the unit seems super stable.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis bike rack is perfect for our purposes. It’s sturdy and holds our 2 highway bikes and our two cruisers with room to spare…it’s actually equipped to hold 5 bikes. It was very easy to install…I set it at 84 inches off the floor per the advice of another user here to allow storage space below the bikes. It takes a bit of oomph to get the bikes into the rack, but I just look at that as part of my exercise…I’m 75 and don’t have any problems getting the bikes on or off the rack. Customer service is great. One of the locking pins was defective and I sent a notice to their website. The replacement was sent 1st class mail in just a few days. Very pleased…we recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 45 From Our UsersVery easy to install. I’m not sure it would be very good at holding more than three, but it does seem very well made. It looks much better than anything else I’ve seen. I used four strips of 4″ wide tread tape on my walls so the tires don’t leave marks and the anti-slip stops shifting.

When you I took the bar out of the box I thought it would never hold 5 bikes, look it is tight and having two of the bikes with dropper posts and one TT bike with narrow handle bars helped a snug fit.

It is VERY easy to mount and makes for a very neat imstallation… in short it met and exceeded my expectations.

I bought this one because it had cotter-pins to hold down the bike hooks…no chance a hook will fall off when mounting a bike or pulling one off. Another nice feature, during installation the mounting brackets can be adjusted (wider or more narrow) depending on where your wall studs are. The HDW (lag screws) that came with the rack worked out great. Easy instructions, and check out the product video as well. One small complaint, mounting 5, adult mountain bikes would be a stretch, but I do have 4 mounted…overall this is a great quality product and solution for storing bikes.

Golden Review Award: 65 From Our UsersThis rack was very easy to install and adjust. It’s a tight fit, but I was able to hang 5 adult-sized bikes on it by alternating the orientation of each neighboring bike. Like several have commented, I do wish it had been just a tad longer so things weren’t so cramped. But if you’re not filling all 5 hooks, you should be fine.

I installed mine 76 inches off the floor to allow a little clearance underneath for sweeping, storing shoes, etc. My garage is newly finished, so I didn’t want the tires of the bike marring the freshly painted walls. That’s one drawback of this design — both tires rest on the wall surface. But that problem was easily resolved by installing two painted trim boards where the tires would otherwise meet the wall. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the minimalist yet sturdy design.

Sturdy, easy install and fits 5 adult bikes

It was sturdy and easy to setup. Only opportunity is I wish it was a little longer so that I wouldn’t have to alternate front wheel up on one and back wheel up on the next and back and forth.

This rack is simple, but high quality. The instructions could use a little improvement, but the product works great and saves a ton of space in my garage. Comparing this to other wall-based bike storage it is much more economical too.

I was reorganizing the garage and decided to hang the bikes to reclaim the floor space. I was worried the kids would have a hard time getting their bikes on/off a wall rack but the haven’t had any problems. It only took 5 minutes to install and now I have a cleaner garage! It holds 4 bikes nicely, 5 will be tight.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersThis was one of the simplest garage-hacks ever. You have to mount it in studs, so a power drill was useful, but overall it was very easy to install and works great. There are two reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. #1) One end of the mounting bar would NOT fit through the bracket. It was just slightly out of square. Luckily, once mounted, I only had to slide the other end through both brackets and it was fine. #2) I do not see how you could fit 5 bikes on this rack. They would be so close that you’d have to take them all down to get to the “deepest” one. Luckily I only needed to hang three, and I bought the larger one having read the reviews.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis rack was fairly easy to mount on my garage wall. It is well constructed and works well. My only caveat is that I really don’t see how it can hold five bikes. I was only able to comfortably fit two road bikes and two mountain bikes, alternating the up/down orientation. Perhaps you could mount a fifth bike, but good luck on getting the middle three off the rack, That said, I’m very pleased with this purchase and recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis rack is surprisingly light considering it holds five bikes. I have the two adult bikes mounted touching the floor with the bottom holes on the brackets marked at 56″. The kids bike are suspended from the floor. If I planned it better I would have purchased two racks as the kids bikes require adults to pull them down since they are off the ground about 15″-18″. Place a mat against the wall or deal with tire marks on the wall.

Golden Review Award: 99 From Our UsersI was originally looking at the popular wall rack but reviews indicated it had issues, and the fatal flaw was the hooks were not securely in place and I needed the kids to be able to use it safely. I chanced the Omni instead, based on only a few available reviews. I’m glad I did, the construction of the Omni is solid, and they obviously paid close attention to the criticisms on that popular wall storage rack on Amazon. The bike hooks are adjustable, but lock in solid with a pin, making it easy to hook in the bike even when you are navigating handlebars etc. Others fold and/or slide, and a wobbly hook makes the process harder. The pins slide fully through both ends of the bar locking the beefy hook bracket in place – no risk of the hook & bike coming free. And they send lag bolts to mount the brackets, so the thing feels pretty sturdy.

Installation was initially quick. The only issue I had was what height to mount the rack and the instructions didn’t help. I started at a bar height of 64″ and tested one teen hybrid and one adult MTN and then finished the rack in about 15 minutes. When loading up the four bikes intended for the rack, one of the adult hybrids was too long (and that was the only outlier). I ended up raising the bar two more inches to 66″ but was able to keep the rack assembled and just moved the bottom screw to the top hole placement – so I didn’t need to re-level.

I have four bikes (that’s what I currently need) and they fit with the top tire up. How the bikes fit really depends on the bike frame size and handlebar style. I might be able to squeeze another in, or I might need to rear wheel first one or two to get the bikes comfortable.

Solid bike rack, easy to install.

This is a great space saving organizer whether for a family of cyclists or a retired racer’s collection. It mounts on the wall securely. Easy to access any of five bikes. And the company stands behind their product, promptly sending me the missing pins necessary to hold the bike hooks in place. Thanks!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersEasy to assemble, seems robust and highly adjustable with the variable settings for the hooks. Getting up 5 similar style bikes over the short length would be only possible alternating which wheel hangs from the hook, even then it’s tight.. Would have liked it to be another 12″ longer would have made fitting 5 bikes more plausible. However overall recommended.
