Hi there, we bought this hoover for our 1 bed home. There was a slight issue at its first use when I unpacked the item which was the sucking head was not functioning well. When I tried to switch to the carpet mode , but it easily was switching itself to wooden floor mode. I used a tape to stop this happening then everything was sorted. We are happy with the hoover despite its having relatively low dust bin capacity.

Small easy to use and very powerful suction comes with all the adaptors needed.

Perfect for a small flat/house. Excellent suction on both carpets and solid floors. Suction control but if still a concern put on hard floor setting for carpets if you need to.
Weight not a problem as it’s a cylinder machine with good manoeuvrability. Good length of cord – so instantly available and no need to charge.

I spent a lot of time researching and I’m really pleased With this purchase.

For a vacuum cleaner which costs less than 100 this isn’t bad. It is very lightweight which makes it feel a bit cheap, but after all it is a cheap cleaner. Like another reviewer, I find that the tube disengages from the handle so that I have to bend over to pick it up and push it back in. It was initially difficult to take the dust collector apart to rinse out the different parts, but I suppose this will ease as time goes by.

A light and effective Vacuum Cleaner, great price. I am really happy with this product. The only negative I find is when vacuuming the brush pole sometimes disengages from the suction tube.

Overall I’m pleased with the performance of this vacuum cleaner. So far, I’m finding the suction is strong and it’s lightweight. However it’s a bit awkward to use when vacuuming the stairs, and on one occasion has fallen down them but apart from that it’s good value for money

Admittedly I was weary about taking a price duck with this model but ironically this one not to dissimilar to one twenty pounds dearer moves around much more swifter and the suction is more powerful and has proven to be very handy after some heavy duty decorating was done at home.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLovely little vacuum cleaner. I always hated vacuuming because most of cleaners are really huge and heavy. But this one is absolutely perfect. Very light, small, easy to use. I like that its bagless, because it’s easier and more comfortable to emptying it. And suction is really strong.

I must admit my expectations weren’t terribly high for this product given the low price, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is an excellent little vacuum cleaner, with great suction. It’s easy to clean and as effective as a unit that might cost twice as much or more. It is light and easy to use, although previous comments about the standard head being difficult to push are true – more because of its design creating resistance rather than any fault of the machine.
I recommend it – great for small homes and apartments.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLightweight and an easily mobile hoover with great suction. The crevice, brush and pet hair collector tools are very good and the extendable metal pole is great for reaching high places. I’ve been a stand up hoover user for years now I have swore by them refusing to use any other type, this came up to try & wow I am honestly converted! SO glad I got to try this hoover, it has very strong suction, the tools are brilliant, it is lightweight, easy to follow me around the room, good length, it is very easy to empty, it is small so easy to store, really impressed how much more this picked up from our floors over our previous hoover, it isn’t very loud my dogs seem less bothered when we used this, I always remembered this type of hoover being bulky & heavy and a chore to use but this is just brilliant no more stand up hoovers for me!! Honestly the powerful suction is why you should buy this hoover & the handy tools I can get around the furniture without moving everything making the hoovering quicker and less of a chore.

This is a super sucky vacuum, and one that simply does the job. Yes there are no fancy rotating brushes, of handy too;s, but it just does a stellar job of sucking up all the dust and debris from any floor I need it too.
I like it is so lightweight – easy to carry and portable for the car or the stairs.
I also like how neat and tidy it is to store away.
Top value for the price – highly recommended.

This is a well-made and robust-seeming small cylinder vacuum cleaner. It is lightweight and portable. The suction is good, and I like the fact that it is bagless – you simply open a catch and empty the cylinder into a waste-bin.

On the minus side, due to the small size of the cylinder you do need to empty it quite frequently. Of course, this isn’t all bad, as the small size helps make the machine lighter and more portable.

In my view this vacuum cleaner would be a good choice for a small flat or apartment. It would also make a useful backup machine for a larger home. In particular, it would be good for cleaning in confined areas and on the stairs, where a larger machine would be unwieldy. Four stars from me.

For anyone with mobility issues or chronic pain you will understand how difficult vacuuming your house can be with a traditional heavy upright cleaner. The Eureka Swan is a welcome change and makes our lifes so much easier! It’s design means you are not constantly pushing the entire weight of the vacuum which significantly reduces pressure on my back. The hose is long enough to clean a large area before having to move the vacuum. The long power cord means I can clean several rooms before having to unplug the vacuum. The cord rewind and the foot switch mean you do not need to bend down to operate the vacuum. I am a tall man but haven’t had any problems using the vacuum thanks to it’s extendable tube. 2 year warranty, British made, and great value – highly recommended.

I have a couple of ‘big name’ expensive vacuum cleaners that I use around the house, so when I was offered this much cheaper model for review purposes, I made a mental note that I should be ‘kind’ and not judge it by the standards of the more-expensive models I was used to.

I needn’t have worried. This is an EXCELLENT little cleaner. Great suction, works superbly well, and is a LOT lighter to carry around the house than my other cleaners.

In fact, for my regular cleans, I think this will be my ‘go to’ cleaner from now on. It’s just so handy. At its current price (59) I think it represents great value, and I’m happy to recommend it.

This review is for the Shreka Swann vacuum cleared. Product arrived well packaged and on time.

This is a good quality vacuum clearing, It’s is compact and the suction power is good. It comes with a few accessories which simplifies certain jobs. It is fairly simple To move around the house. The only down side is the hose should have a been a bit longer. But for the price it’s still worth it.

Easy to remove the dirt holder and empty. It is possible to wash this whole dirt holder and parts in the sink which is really useful. the Cord retractor is very stron and the cable has waring tape to show when you are reaching the full extension. Has a good selection of tools. Excellent suction. The main head is just a suction tool, there is no roller or beater. It is light weight and easy to handle.

I do not give 5 stars just because it’s free like some reviewers I give my true opinion on what I think. This is a very good Eureka Swan cylinder vacuum in silver. It’s got an anti allergen HEPA filter so that’s good for people with allergies. We gave this to my mother because it’s very lightweight and easy to pull along. The hose is 1.5 meters long so that’s good for your back the longer the better. It can easily go from carpet to hard floor with out changing anything. It has got 5 meters of cable so you can go all around the house with out unplugging and it’s got a button to rewind the cable back in. My mum love this vac she said it picks up loads of dirt and it’s very easy to pull around. At 69 with 2 years guarantee and British made you cannot go wrong.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is a small lightweight vacuum cleaner. I read a few reviews and was not expecting much, especially for the money. I’m not going to say it is the best vacuum i have ever had but it does stand up to what the ‘regular’ vacuum used to be before the ‘Pet’ branded vacuums came out. It doesn’t have a power roller to scoop up hair but for it’s size it does have a decent suction. The lead is a reasonable length and so is the hose, although i do seem to naturally stoop down as i clean.
After only using it for my small hallway you can see the picture of how much it DID suck up and i only vacuumed a two days before! This is also great for a quick clean and i am more likely to use it regularly because it is light weight and moves around easily. The base unit does tip over sometimes, so keep an eye on that but it’s so easy to pop it up again. The lead has amber and red marks on it to indicate how much lead you have left to pull out. It has a button to wind the lead up again automatically and a button turn it on, both easy to use with a foot.

The waste tank can be pulled up and emptied, not hard to do at all, in fact i went to pick the vacuum up by this handle (not realising) and it just came out. You can also wash it with no issue at all, it is small enough to fit under the kitchen tap. It comes with two attachments for corners and chairs, etc. The brush is quite stiff, making it feel like it will really help with the clean. I have found that after use the dog hairs seem to gather on top of the vacuum head which is a bit odd but we do have a VERY hairy dog and you just vacuum over them. This vacuum does very well picking up the hair in our house considering the specs and price, etc, and makes the floor look much cleaner. It can be a bit fiddly to secure the pipe in the holder to store but it does go in. I find that due to the plastic tube being a bit stiff it takes a fair bit of room up to store but it is long rather than wide for storage, so we put it behind our living room door.
It does have brushes around the edge of the head to help brush the carpet or glad over hard floors or you can pop them up if you don’t want them.

It is not meant to be an all singing all dancing vacuum and i am very impressed by what it does achieve. This would be a great option for someone in their first flat or someone on a budget who just can’t afford the outlay of a big brother or sister at the moment. I completely recommend.

Not at all bad for the price!

This is a super little budget vacuum cleaner. It is lightweight and compact and it’s a bagless cyclone, so it is really easy to use. It does a pretty good job of cleaning. I’ve not had any problems with it and it has picked up everything I’ve asked of it on both carpet and smooth flooring with no trouble at all. (I don’t have any pets at the moment so cannot comment on how it does with pet hair – but it picks up mine OK!) This is a perfect cleaner for a small or cluttered space, too, where a lot of vacuum cleaners are not great at getting around and can be a pain in the neck. But this one is fabulous and gets around all my furniture and small. cluttered rooms without any drama (unlike my older, larger cleaner). I am really pleased with it.

The effectiveness of a vacuum cleaner depends on the tasks it is expected to do: types of floor, size of home, stairs, whether there are pets, and so on.
This cleaner is relatively inexpensive, compared to the major competition from at least one huge presence in the market, and it comes in at 3-4 times less expensive. So, what kind of job does it do?
A pretty good one, actually. It comes with a decent range of tools, it doesn’t require bags, and it is pretty portable for use on stairs. It is very good on ceramic and laminate/wooden flooring; not quite so effective on a carpet with a decent level of pile, but nevertheless, it still cleans well.
After cleaning, it disassembles much more effectively than its more expensive rivals, so can itself be cleaned more easily of dust. The suction is very good and it isn’t massively noisy.
Overall it is a good cleaner and represents good value for money.
There are some things that might be better though.
First, the cleaner can’t accumulate a huge amount of fluff etc – the container is small compared to its competition.
The electric cable could be longer – I had to keep moving it from socket to socket, though our floor area is quite large and that has to be done – albeit less often – with other cleaners.
The on/off switch could be highlighted in colour. I kept using the cable retraction switch as it looks very similar.
The HEPA filter is far thinner than those on our other cleaner. Is that good or bad? I don’t know, but for that other cleaner we have two filters and alternate them between cleanings, washing the most recently used one. The filter with this machine looks much less substantial, but for all I know, may actually be better as a filter.
None of the negative posts are deal killers for this cleaner and for the smaller home, it is definitely recommended. It does work fine in our home too, and for the amount of material picked up, is sufficient. The main thing I would change is to have a longer cable.
From another user in our home – some additional points: The cleaner was easy to put together and l was able to use without needing to look at the instructions. As l have two dogs l need a vacuum that can pick up the hairs and muck that is caused by them. I found it worked well and l liked the clear cylinder as l was able to see how it effectively picked up the hairs. It was great not to have a need for a bag and the contents were emptied out easily, It was easy to manoeuvre around the house and quite light to lift, compared to many cleaners. Overall, l would recommend this as a compact, easy to use and effective vacuum cleaner.

Very light, small, manoeuvrable, this is a good vacuum and the price makes it excellent value. Replacing a disappointing Dyson, this wins out. Being cabled it does have to be in reach of a plug socket 11175393 but most houses have plenty. The hose can get twisted but just something to watch out for. My husband is tall and managed it fine. Recommended over heavier or pricier models. Easy to empty.

Negatives – the attachments dont push and click to lock, the raise for carpets button doesn’t left high enough for our rugs, but all in all very good.

A powerful vacuum cleaner that did a great job on my thick stair carpet. It’s easy to carry in one hand and flexible enough to hoover stair to stair with the other hand. It looks small but didn’t fill up too fast and is pretty easy to empty. I realy like how the pipe didn’t get in way too much as I was hoovering as its very bendy and helped with all the fiddly areas. Definitely a great addition to any home and doesn’t take up too much room when stored away.

I liked the power of this vacuum cleaner. It really sucked the dirt from our fitted carpets and cleaned our tiled floors well too. It’s very easy to empty the bagless cylinder straight into a bin. The mains cord winder works well, retracting the mains lead quickly with no snagging. The furniture head and crevice nozzle work well. The instructions are in good English and are very clear. The cylinder and filters are washable, which is good because quite a lot of dust finds its way into the different chambers inside.
But it has a few things that I wish were better designed:
    1. The three extra cleaning heads (nozzle, furniture and dusting brush) clip onto a holder that then clips on to the main tube. They get in the way as you’re moving around. I would prefer to have them stored inside the cleaner out of the way but accessible when you needed them.
    2. The small dusting brush head has bristles that are too stiff and short so I couldn’t use them safely around delicate items.
    3. The mains cord is a little too short, at 5 metres. Another metre or so would have saved effort in moving from socket to socket.
    4. Although the rear wheels are big the cleaner gets snagged up in its own mains lead too often, which is mildly annoying.
    5. The main tube is too short and makes me have to bend over a lot. I’m of average height as well. Another 15cm would suit me better.
    6. The suction power is too strong for loose mats and rugs. They get sucked up and dragged out of position. It would be good to be able to reduce the power when needed.
    7. The cleaner is lighter than my old model but still quite heavy.
    8. It’s too wide to sit safely on my stairs, whichever way round I put it.
Having said all that, the price is reasonable for what you get. It is well made and nicely presented and it does it’s basic job well. My criticisms are more to do with comfort and convenience when it’s in use.

THIS SWAN EUREKA, MULTI CLEAN, CYCLONIC BAGLESS CYLINDER VACUUM CLEANER WITH WASHABLE ANTI-ALLERGEN HEPA FILTER REALLY DOES THE JOB – SUPER WELL – THAT IT WAS INTENDED FOR. IT CARRIES A 700W CLASS A MOTOR WHICH IS MORE THAN ADEQUATE GIVEN ‘ SWANS ‘ EXCELLENT DESIGN. I HAVE AN OLD VACUUM CLEANER WITH A MUCH LARGER MOTOR, AND YET THE ‘ SWAN EUREKA ‘ STILL MANAGED TO SUCK FROM MY CARPET, DOG HAIR AND DUST THAT I COULDN’T EVEN SEE WITH THE NAKED EYE. ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT THE PET HAIR MODEL, IT STILL REMOVES PET HAIR ADEQUATELY. THE PIVOT WHEEL IN PHOTO #11 MAKES MANOEUVRABILITY A SYNCH. MY BUNGALOW CAN BE QUITE TRICKY TO NAVIGATE, HOWEVER THE ‘ SWAN EUREKA ‘ MANAGED TO TRAVERSE IT A LOT EASIER THAN MY OLD UPRIGHT VACUUM CLEANER. IN PHOTO #1 WE SEE SWANS CYCLONIC BAGLESS VACUUM CLEANER WHEN IT IS NOT IN USE. TWO SLOTS AT THE REAR – SHOWN IN PHOTO #2 – HOLD THE TUBING IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION. IN PHOTO #3 YOU CAN SEE THE SIMPLE SLIDER THAT DETACHES THE EXTENSION TUBING ( I FOUND THIS EXTENSION TUBE TO BE INVALUABLE DUE TO OSTEOARTHRITIS IN MY LOWER SPINE & HIPS ) SIMPLY SLIDE IT DOWN TO DETACH THE EXTENSION TUBE OR SLIDE THE EXTENSION TUBE IN UNTIL IT CLICKS TO USE THE ‘ EUREKA ‘ WITH THE EXTENSION TUBE. PHOTO #4 SEES, UPPERMOST THE CABLE REWIND. MAKE SURE THAT THE POWER CABLE IS NOWHERE NEAR YOUR ORNAMENTS, AS THIS REWINDS FASTER THAN A FORMULA ONE CAR FROM THE START LINE ( NO KIDDING ). THE LOWER OF THE TWO BUTTONS AS I’M SURE YOU WILL HAVE GUESSED, IS THE POWER ON/OFF BUTTON. PHOTOS #5 & #6 SHOW THE SIMPLICITY OF FLICKING BETWEEN SHORT & LONG PILE CARPET & INDEED, BARE FLOOR. PRESS THE FRONT DOWN FOR SHORT CARPET OR BARE FLOOR. PRESS THE REAR DOWN AND YOUR READY TO GO ON YOUR LONGER PILE CARPETS. PICTURES #7, #8 & #9 SHOW THE REMOVING OF THE WASHABLE, ANTI-ALLERGEN, HEPA FILTER. IN PICTURE #7, BELOW AND JUST LEFT OF THE POWER CABLE, YOU CAN SEE A SIMPLE PRESS INWARD CLIP, WHICH WHEN PRESSED INWARD RELEASES THE WASHABLE HEPA FILTER COVER. THE NEXT PHOTO SHOWS THE HEPA FILTER, ON TOP OF WHICH IS A PRESS DOWN CLIP. PRESS THIS DOWNWARD AND OUT COMES YOUR WASHABLE, ANTI-ALLERGEN, HEPA FILTER. REPLACEMENT IS A CASE OF JUST CLICKING THEM BACK IN PLACE. IN PHOTO #10 WE SEE THE BUTTON FOR REMOVING THE MAIN HOSE. AGAIN, PRESS DOWN AND SLIDE OUT THE HOSE TO REMOVE. SLIDE IN UNTIL IT CLICKS TO REPLACE. ACCESSORIES ARE A LITTLE SHORT ON THE GROUND AS YOU CAN SEE IN PHOTO #12 BUT REALLY YOU HAVE ALL YOU NEED. I HAD PREPARED A VIDEO TO SHOW YOU HOW EASY EMPTYING THE CYLINDER REALLY IS, BUT FOR SOME REASON IT WOULD NOT UPLOAD. IT IS SO SIMPLE THAT A CHILD COULD DO IT DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD DO IT THOUGH. IN PHOTO #1 YOU CAN SEE A SILVER SEMI-CIRCLE. LIFT THIS AND THE CYLINDER WILL COME AWAY FROM THE MAIN BODY OF THE SWAN EUREKA & THE SILVER SEMI-CIRCLE DOUBLES AS A CARRY HANDLE. A PRESS OF A BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM OF THE CYLINDER RELEASES THE CONTENTS. CLICK THE BOTTOM OF THE CYLINDER SHUT. PLACE THE CYLINDER BACK ON THE MAIN BODY OF THE ‘ SWAN EUREKA BAGLESS, CYCLONIC, MULTI CLEAN VACUUM CLEANER ‘ PUT THE HANDLE BACK DOWN & YOUR LOCKED & LOADED & READY TO GO AGAIN. THE CYLINDER ITSELF IS 2L . ‘ SWAN ‘ REALLY HAVE DESIGNED THIS FOR THE EASE OF THE USER AND IN MY MIND THEY HAVE SUCCEEDED.

THIS THING REALLY SUCKS, BUT IN A GOOD WAY !!!!

Over all this is a really good vacuum cleaner. The suction is very strong , it is lightweight, is very easy to empty, filter is easy to remove and clean. A couple of tweeks and this cleaner would be near perfect.
The hose could be a little more flexible especially for cleaning stairs. The flex just reaches the top of my stairs so could do with being a bit longer. The hose and metal tubes could be a bit longer but it is ok and not worth taking a star off for.
This is a very good vacuum cleaner for the price. Great for small homes and small enough for storing in a cupboard

Needed a new hover for the stairs. They are a pain to clean with an upright hover. This 1 just fit the bill. It’s great. The
    manoeuvrability is quite good.

Suction on a thick wool carpet is good. It’s picked everything up.

The tube is long enough to get most of the stairs done from either top or bottom. Much better this way.

Very pleased with it. Giving it top marks of 10-10. It works well for me and my house.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOnce left a review for a vacuum cleaner only to have it break just a couple of weeks later so I’ve left this until it had good use. I keep this upstairs as it’s great at getting under beds and it suits the usage it gets in the bedrooms. As our dog (lab retriever, long hair) and cat venture up then it has had to pull its weight in terms of picking up fur and that it has done very well, the attachments are great but not having any way to keep them on the body of the machine means you have to lug them around in your pockets. The hose doesn’t have much in the way of support so if you have a bad back that may cause issue. Other than that, it does its job, without fuss and so far (touch wood) without giving up. I will come back on if it does decide this good review is a jinx!

Love this, really compact with several great design features. The handle is large, easy to access and is perfectly balanced to allow you to move the whole unit freely and without complications. The quick release for the rubbish area confused me at first but once I realised the smaller silver handle did all the work, it was a breeze. The motor is also impressive not too noisy but give a satisfying amount of ‘suckage’! It comes with several attachments including a turbo tool, crevice tool and the most useful the swivelling brush tool (ace for using in the car). On first use, in the car, I was asked by my neighbour about the little machine as he was impressed and offered me a pound and a can of beer if I’d do his too! Overall, fantastic little machine (with 2 years guarantee!). Take a look.

This vacuum is tiny in a good way. I live in a one bedroom flat and it is perfect. The suction is fantastic and I love the pet turbo head. It’s capacity is small so for a larger home it would need frequent emptying, but this is very easy to do. It feels very robustly made but not heavy. Easy to store and looks more expensive than it cost, a little noisy but not excessively so. Easy to manoeuvre and change the included tools. The filter is also very easy to take out to clean. Excellent value for money.

This vacuum cleaner is straightforward in design, compact, lightweight and moves with ease. Priced at the lower end of the cylinder vacuum market, it represents good value. It’s not solid and needs to be handled gently as I’m unsure of its resilience – it’s quite plasticy, so I would recommend switching it on manually, rather than by foot. It comes with a good range of well-made accessories/attachments and it’s a shame that there isn’t a lightweight bag for these accessories – they’re just loose. Although there’s a holder for the attachments which can be attached to the tube, this is cumbersome and there’s no hidden compartment on the product for storage. It’s fairly noisy, but suction is good and the cylinder is easy to remove and clean. As it’s quite compact, it can be easily stored, so it would be well suited to a small property.

I’ve bo great aversion to cleaning but my great hate is a vacuum that is hard to empty and just creates more muck. I’m pleased to say this vacuum is really easy to empty and keep clean. In fact, I just rinsed the key bits under the sink and they’re as good as new.

Suction is pretty good on dust and crumbs, although it struggled a bit on some deeper carpets and rugs. Absolutely fine on most stuff though, especially in my car. It wasn’t great with dog hair though and I thought that it would be good with that.

Fine for a small flat or occasional use but maybe the wrong option for a larger family home. Lack of bag for attachments is an annoying flaw too.

This is an excellent vacuum cleaner, ideal for a small flat where storage space is at a premium.

It is light and very easy to use. Most importantly, emptying of it is very straightforward, and I reckon it should be done after every use just to ensure that pipes and the like are kept clear so that suction is maintained.

This is certainly one the better designed vacuums: the handle is well placed to make it easy to carry, and the thing rolls along very nicely when I’m vacuuming.

I really like this: it does the job very well. The noise it makes is not too bad, all things considered, and I am very happy to use this in a small flat.

This is an innovative, practical vacumn cleaner. Very compact. Although it is quite small it has powerful suction. Being small has its advantages as it is less cumbersome and heavy as vacumn cleaners in general and as I go up the stairs cleaning step by step it fits nicely on the stairs.

It is also light in weight so is easily carried around, there is a large capacity dirt compartment which is transparent so you know when its full and I like the fact that you do not have to take the machine apart to change the filter. It is easily accessed. The lead is quite long too and automatically rewinds/retracts back into the machine.

The vacumn cleaner also comes with the usual extras such as fittings to get into awkward and hard to reach areas. I also use the hoover to valet my car and being small I can take it into the car thus there is no strain on the hose. I would recommend this cleaner if anyone wants a powerful but compact machine which produces spotless results and takes up very little room to store.

It is lightweight and it will last a lightweight time too.
It has a rather thin plasticky feel and build.
The tubes are friction push-ins, which fall apart in use.
The unit is light to pick up and carry, but despite being 700w is not that powerful once it has some dust in it, it is not a cyclone.

Also the unit expels quite a lot of dust that it picks up, making it frustrating to use as the primary function you buy it for is not that good.

However if you want a quicky light job in between serious cleaning, it would do nicely.

Perfect for a single person/small home.
Lightweight for carrying and especially good for stairs. Also nice and small for storing away.
    Suction is pretty good.
Very good for getting pet hairs off soft furniture.
Easy to see when its full. Its not very big though so if you have large premises it will need emptying quite often.- but for the price you can’t really expect a larger machine.
Not so good build quality wise. Its a bit plasticky and if only they’d have put the little locking mechanism on the tubes to keep them together when vacuuming it would have got more stars.
Overall it should be a bit cheaper but its fine for small premises and for people who struggle with heavy vacuums on stairs.
I’ve always thought of “Swan” as manufacturers of Kettles but this neat little machine is just fine.

Eureka Swan multi force pet cylinder vacuum.. I love this vacuum its light weight neat and compact so easy to store as its not too large to put away. It comes with lots of extra accessories. Cleaning head for pet hairs and dusting brush and crevice tool also furniture brush. The company has included a accessory holder for all the tools. It has multicyclone filtration and is energy saving. This vacuum is bagless and its so easy to empty so you don’t have to worry about running out of bags. This vacuum cleaner is so powerful for its size it cleaned my carpets perfectly and so easy to carry around the house and stairs. The instructions are easy to follow. I think this vacuum is small but very sturdy and well made.it has a automatic cord rewind and filters are washable too. This vacuum is perfect and powerful and lives up what it promises. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

Despite is small size, this vacuum is very good at lifting dust. I was impressed. The metal tube is a really nice chrome tube, which is extendable with a number of click stops. There is no bag which is great, and you just release the bottom of the cylinder once removed from the bottom and the dust falls out.The filter is cotton and washable and very easily got at for cleaning which is just with water and thoroughly dry before replacing. It comes with normal head for carpet or hard floors, very easily accessed and operating by a foot control. I take a star away because the metal and nylon tubes are just push fits into each other and the metal tube is just a push rather than a click stop into the tools. The nylon tube fits into the vacuum with a tight and secure click stop so no fear of coming loose at that end. There is a slide on the tube that lets you release or adjust pressure a bit if it sucks up a soft furnishing and wont release. very handy. I did like the lightness and ease of storage of this appliance. and it does the job really well. Comes with a crevice tool and an upholstery tool as well as the multi tool so really all you need

I think as an everyday, one-household vacuum, it’s fantastic.

Built very much like others of it’s kind – I imagine there is one design that is bought by most manufacturers and made with a different brand name on, because it’s largely the same as others i’ve used in the same price bracket. That being said, it doesn’t mean it’s bad at all.

The pet brush works well albeit its a bit small – it’s been designed for upholstery I think, but the scrubbing motion is what you need for those hairs that seem to weave themselves in to the fabric.

The vacuum generally works exactly as you’d hope.

My favourite thing is the removable and washable parts – 9/10 times vacuums lose power or break simply because they are not cleaned often enough. Microparticles and dust clogs and lines the inside air holes and that’s why they quickly become rubbish, but if you clean it often enough then they last a lot longer. My favourite trick is to dismantle all the plastic parts outside, blast them with the hose, then leave in the sun to dry before putting back together.

I think for a situation where you’re using it as much as one household would use it, for light use but also you have a pet, then it’s perfect. Stows away small, lightweight for carrying up stairs or for elderly people, and is very powerful.

While rechargeable cleaners may be getting the big promotional push on TV and elsewhere these days, plug-in cleaners are continuing to evolve and are still worthy of your attention. The suction produced by this very compact Eureka from Swan is simply phenomenal. Ideal for general cleaning and very effective at drawing pet hair from your carpets and furniture. Vacuuming stair carpet will never be a joy but the small size of the cylinder and the stair/upholstery cleaning head, makes stair carpet cleaning as chore-free as it could possibly be, short of owning a handheld cleaner for this particular task. Additional tools include the Pet Turbo Head, which will make the most stubborn animal hair easier to remove, if the already very powerful suction via the general purpose cleaning head is not quite up the task.

Removing the cylinder so you can empty out the gunky, fluffy dust is simplicity itself, just lift the handle built into the cylinder top, the catch unclicks and the cylinder, being small, is easy to lift away. When empty, the cylinder nestles back in place and the gentlest of presses clicks it securely into its housing. Additionally, the Eureka design features a washable HEPA filter preventing dust odour, allergens and pollutants escaping from the cleaner back into the room. The filter can be simply rinsed and reused re-used many times. The cyclonic technology responsible for the suction is a tiny marvel, like the cleaner itself, and unless you have your heart set on the more expensive cord free convenience of rechargeable cleaners, you will soon learn to love this Eureka!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEureka Swan is a brand of vacuum that I’ve not heard of before, but I think it will be one that I hear of again as this is a surprisingly impressive little vacuum cleaner. I say ‘surprisingly’ as, given its price-bracket and size (it really is quite tiny), I wasn’t expecting much; however, this proves that good things really can come in small packages.

The first thing to note is the build quality; it is a bit plasticky and doesn’t have the same sturdiness as a higher-end vacuum, but it’s perfectly acceptable and seems as if it should last for quite a while. It’s main plus point is the fact that, despite being very small and incredibly light, it really does have very good suction – certainly the best that I’ve ever come across in a vacuum of this size, and better than several much larger vacuums we’ve used over the years. Also, as it’s so light it’s really handy for use if you’re not very strong or just need portability; it’s great on stairs, for instance.

The only slight downside is that the capacity isn’t huge, so it needs emptying very regularly; however this is as a direct result of the vacuum’s overall size, and so is expected; after all, you can’t have a very little lightweight vacuum without sacrificing something.

We are very impressed with this, it’s fair to say; definitely worth five stars.

This is a compact and very neat vacuum cleaner. It has the usual attachments for comprehensive cleaning.
One of the best features is it is bagless and very easy to empty and parts are washable to keep the suction strong. The dust collector is made of a clear plastic it is very easy to see when it needs to be emptied. It also has a slider on the stem for you to adjust the suction power.
It is A rated for performance and energy and is light to carry around.

Easy to use and empty from dust; the cord is sufficiently long and auto rewind is a great function to have. The vacuum cleaner is light to carry or lift and follows you around effortlessly as you give it a light pull. Suction is strong with this one 🙂

This is a great lightweight vacuum cleaner that is ideal for using on stairs. It has lots of attachments for different types of jobs too. It is good for picking up cat hairs. It is bagless and easy to empty so no additional costs and time needed to get bags. A great little vacuum.

This little vacuum cleaner is an absolute gem.

I really wasn’t expecting to be overwhelmed at this price point, but it far exceeded my expectations!

Despite its compact dimensions, it’s well made, sturdy, it all fits together with reassuring clicks, the main tube is solid metal and adjustable for height, it’s easy to empty and above all it has tremendous suction power!

It also has a couple of extra features that show great attention to detail — there is a slot at the back and a corresponding clip on the main head, so that you can slot one into the other to stand the tube and hose upright when storing it. It also has self-winding retractable cord storage!

I ran this around my house and stairs and was really impressed with how well it cleaned and how well the turbo brush coped with the fur from my three cats!

I would say that this is ideal for the smaller property or a flat — neither the cable, nor the hose are very long, but that really is nit-picking!

    Five stars without a doubt!

    A little gem!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve been very impressed with this Eureka Swan vacuum cleaner.
It’s one of the smaller cylinder vacs around, which makes it surprisingly light and hence nice and easy to carry around the house. The degree of suction though belies its small size and is truly impressive.
The pice de rsistance IMHO is the pet-hair turbo-brush. We own a long-haired cat, who sheds fur wherever she sits. Just finished using the turbo brush on a chair and on the (carpeted) stairs and it’s removed all the hairs effortlessly.
Emptying the cylinder is dead easy and the filter just lifts off for easy cleaning.
Only slight criticism is that the noise level is quite high and de-fluffing the turbo brush needs to be done regularly.
    No big deal though.
If you’re looking for a supremely portable cylinder vac that copes well with pet hairs, then this fits the bill very well at quite a modest RRP.
    Definitely recommended.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI am comparing this “Multi-Force PET +” Eureka/Swan vacuum cleaner with a near identical
Eureka model that I purchased about 1 year ago. Both have 700 watt motors. This model,
although of a near identical price to my Eureka one, lacks an electrical means of altering
the suction power: it only has the slider on the handle to achieve some degree of altering
    suction.

The thickness of materials is less than one would get with a more expensive vacuum: it
shows in many ways. Production costs have been reduced by means of using what is referred
to as friction fit to join hose to handle, for example. Pushing parts together in order
to secure them results in the two parts coming apart if too much pressure is placed on the
handle when using the vacuum. The telescopic tube mechanism is fine, however.
As with my version of the Eureka series, the electrical cord is woefully cheap and nasty:
due to the profile being flat, not round, even upon pulling it out for the cleaner’s first
use I discovered that it had already twisted/knarled itself; which might be why it is
slightly slow to recoil back into the body of the vacuum when finishing hoovering. I would
have liked the cord to have some sort of stop on it to prevent the plug being put under
pressure when the cord mechanism is pushed, to recoil the cord, if one forgot to hold the
cord in the hand in order to slow the retraction speed.

I wish that manufacturers would spend as much time on imparting clear and accurate
information about the product in their enclosed leaflets as they do lecturing us on
every tiny safety detail in order to cover themselves legally. Example being that in
the parts list the pet-turbo tool is not listed; and neither is the minute belt which
    drives its rotating brush.

I especially mention the previous point because the design of the pet-turbo tool leaks
dust into the belt mechanism area; which, to my mind, indicates that the belt, given the
small size, is likely to suffer damage, sooner rather than later. I should mention,
because the manual doesn’t, that there is a rotating locking collar on the neck of brush,
which, after unlocking, allows the brush to be taken apart in order to remove dirt and
dust which has become trapped in the brush.

Whilst on the subject of the pet-turbo brush, I would say that it is the most efficient
pet hair removal brush that I have ever used: excellent is the only fitting word, in my
    opinion.

The dust tank needs singling out for special praise due to the method of dissembling it to
remove collected dust and to clean the filters; which can all be washed in water. All
parts can be removed without recourse to such things as screwdrivers. Nice!

Worth the money? Yes, even given the negative points raised above, this light and easy to
carry vacuum (due to the design which has a built in handle) is definitely worth the money
but loses one star because of those points.

I like nearly everything about this vacuum cleaner.

There’s no bag and that saves time and money, you can see what youre collecting in the bag so if you accidentally suck up an earring, you wont have to split open some grotty bag and end up with dirt everywhere.

It’s easy to empty (I tend not to read instructions for items like this) and you can physically see how much muck you’ve picked up from around the house. It’s actually quite satisfying.

Most importantly to me is that this is a powerful little cleaner. I felt and saw it lifting the carpet up as it cleaned and it pretty much outperformed my existing more powerful (but older) vacuum.

Another great feature is portability, its light so you can carry it as you use it (great for stairs) and the carrying handle is well placed for this.

The flex is good and I was very impressed.

If I had to pick a fault I would say that the plastic neck that you hold it by when cleaning is a touch too slim and my hand got cramp.

There are plenty of attachments for narrow, hard to reach areas.

    Very impressive.
