Have been using for nearly a year and have experienced no problems. Slightly plastic-y door handle (metal effect is just paint) but has not worn off or otherwise deteriorated. Very satisfied with my first purchase of kitchenware from Amazon.
A lovely little Retro microwave!
Very pleased with this microwave. Bought when old one died and I wanted one a little bit more unusual than the standard white one. The pale blue is gorgeous and has already had lots of compliments! Easy to use and does the job it’s made for!
Expensive, but works well
Bought as a set with kettle (which broke after 3 weeks), but this seems to be lasting better! Seems to get very hot though, having to cook everything on medium heat!

I bought this 5 months ago and tonight it stop working in the middle of me cooking in it so I change the fuse and still nothing so got incontact with amazon by who every that was typing to me telling me that I can not send it back or get a refund now everyone knows that most electric items come with a 12 month warranty but did I get any help nope well then I will let swan know what’s happen because I think amazon is really making them look bad by doing nothing

I wanted a small retro microwave that didn’t take up too much space. Colour was icing on the cake.
It’s compact and seems to work perfectly well so far.

This is the second one I have had of these as the first one broke in the first six months… I have given it 5 stars though as the refund and replacement was so straight forward and I have had no trouble with this one 🙂

As we have both used it enough times yet it hasn’t had a clean ( had 2 days ) but the style and look is good. Works perfectly. Bad side it’s a lot smaller than what we have been use 2. But mostly it’s 2 heat my sons food and other smaller stuff so… its perfect for us as a family

I bought this for my mother, who’s in her 90s and has poor sight. It’s so easy to use and she loves it.
If you want one that is more complicated, this is not for you. If you want easy to use with large easy to see numbers for the time – this is a definite go for!!

I absolutely love this microwave. I was a bit dubious having read some of the negative reviews but I decided to go ahead and purchase anyway. I’m really glad I did. It works perfectly and it’s easy to use plus it looks very aesthetically pleasing. It stands out from your bog standard microwave and the purple colour with silver detailing looks great. I have to say I haven’t experienced any of the negative points other people have mentioned like rusting but I always ensure that my microwave is well vented after every use and that I wipe out any moisture straightaway to prevent any build up. Perhaps that’s where others are going wrong. If you look after yours from the beginning you’ll be absolutely fine and you’ll have yourself an amazing little microwave.

Sturdy and quick to Heat Food. Not my choice of Colour but my Wifes. Mainly used for hot milk and defrosting.

I love the colour of this and its exactly like my old one to use so no problems there .
The only downside is I use it to steam veg and so far u can only get it on quick cook for 10 mins and my veg takes 15

The controls are a little less than ideal (not terribly intuitive) but I expect there is an element of form over function there.
No other negative comments. Only owned it for three months at the time of writing so hopefully it will prove reliable.

Yellow microwave- lovely
I’ve been trying to find a yellow microwave for Years! Hurrah, finally one to match my kitchen. Not got as much internal height as my previous microwave but strangely it is wider inside, which is marvellously useful for my large dinner plates which I had to set at an angle in my last model.

Looks nice when used with other retro items in brand
Had one of these before, but it started to rust around the base where the turntable rotates. Looks nice then combined with other retro items such as fridge etc. It is just a microwave, so some might suggest you are paying extra just for the retro look.

Could not find this in stock except Amazon. Looked at the listings for other ways to buy, this was reduced as it said it had a minor defect in the paint. When it arrived I checked it over and could not see the defect. Happy with the purchase especially paying less.

Ten out of ten to Amazon support: having noticed that this microwave carries a 2 year warranty I left my number on the customer service page. I was called back instantly and after going through what the issue is the lovely lady I spoke to is sending me out a new microwave. It will arrive the day after tomorrow So, I am going to give Swan another chance. Well done Amazon.
I purchased the Swan Microwave in April 2021. It is easily the most expensive microwave I have ever bought. It has had only very light use 2 or 3 minutes here and there to reheat food or warm plates etc. It started making grinding noises a few months ago. This evening it made a very loud humming noise then a loud pop! It no longer heats anything. It has bitten the dust in just over 18 months. My cheap 35.00 one which I replaced with the Swan and gave away to a family member is still going strong and must be 8 years old if it’s a day.
The one star is for the colour.I could not recommend buying one.

I mostly only use a microwave to heat up and this sets my kitchen off a treat along with it’s other matching kitchen accessories. Easy to use knobs (as opposed to digital settings). I can’t review any cooking as such because I don’t use it to cook in but I would imagine if you did it would perform well.

I love my swan microwave which I finally purchased from Swan directly after a chapter of mishaps and trouble as a result of the delivery company. Five days late and after several phone calls the parcel arrived damaged as was my microwave
I must commend Amazons customer service department who were incredibly helpful and responsive.

We bought the swan kettle and microwave plus kitchen roll holder and they are 3 different shades of green

Lovely looking, easy to use microwave.
Love the colour and love retro for my kitchen, it goes with everything. It’s a bit smaller than my other one which is nice because I’ve only got a small kitchen. However my square dinner plates won’t turn but I have round ones and they’re perfect. Yes lovely microwave and very simple to use, all the settings are displayed on the front. Highly recommend.
