Fantastic cooker. We absolutely love it. Has taken over so many duties in the kitchen you wonder why you still have a traditional cooker!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMet my expectations- except the very brief cooking instruction settings for the limited receipes shown. Shame that Taylor Snowdon do not have a comprehensive cooking setting instruction and receipe book available for their 3 in 1 multicooker.

This took some getting used to but it’s definitely worth taking the time to try some dishes out in it.

This is a slow cooker, hot pot, grill and frying pan all in one. Has several settings for steam, stew, rice, grilling and roasting.

I like that this can keep the food warm for up to ten hours. Although food doesn’t last that long with my family this is great for parties etc.

This would be ideal for people with a small kitchen or wants less gadgets.

    Very handy and works well.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersIt’s versatile, does what it said and have used all of its functions if only the grill pan can be a little deeper as well. Just bear in mind, this unit is big and does take up room on the worktop or storage. I have to put away some of the cookwares that I no longer use to the shed to make room and keep this in the cupboard instead as I find I use this quite regularly.
Look out for the control panel not popping nearly all out – had to return mine for another one. Instruction is not very clear but work along the lines.

This is quite a comprehensive set which covers a multitude of cooking tasks with minimal fuss.

It took me a while to get my head around the various functions and controls but once you do understand the instructions then it is simple enough to use. The various modes can be combined so you could fry off your meat and veg before adding a stock and slow cooking it while you are out and about. It is a very flexible system which could replace several of your appliances such a a steamer and a slow cooker. We will be taking ours in our caravan.

So overall I like the various features and the different cooking abilities of this set. I am less taken by the amount of space which is needed to store it. It takes up quite a lot of room in the cupboard so should be considered before you buy one. However if you do replace several other appliances then maybe you could end up with more space over all…

You can say my way of cooking might be old fashioned as no matter how many smart gadgets and devices I got ,when I start cooking I always end up cooking in the traditional way :))
However ,I decided to give it a try to this multi cooker ,as I needed some help and spare hands especially now with two little ones.
I love the multi cooker as although it does not require a lot of space ,you can cook so many different dishes with it.
My old son is almost 2 so he literally eats everything now ,but his favourite food is the grilled meat or chicken.
With my youngest son ,we have just started diversification which means a lot of steamed vegetables and different kind of purees.
So basically this multi cooker has come really handy when cooking dinner.
I have tried both grill and steam cooking so far and I am satisfied with it.
Coming to taste ,is not different from the taste I get using my traditional pans and pots, however I must admit is much more easy the process.
Also the cleaning process is way faster and easier too.
I am looking to try the slow cooking method as soon as possible ,but I am sure it will be great too.
The only down side is that you can cook one thing at the time .
Wished I could cook for example two different types of food as some steamed rice and some curry or steamed vegetables and some slow cooked meat but I guess I am asking too much 🙂
The menu is easy to understand ,the display is easy to read.
Reasonable price for the range of functions this multi cooker comes with .
    Definitely handy!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI’m terrible in the kitchen. I constantly burn things and ruin pans, I’m always feeling rushed and generally I hate cooking.

This tower has made cooking so much easier for me with so much less pressure. I didn’t want it for that purpose, I wanted a slow cooker, so this is a huge bonus for me that it’s removed a barrier to meals for me.

    Pros:
    – Great variety of methods to cook with corresponding pans
    – Actually non-stick and easy to clean
    – Large surface area so fits a good amount in (enough for four people atleast I’d say)

    Cons:
    – Slower than cooking on a gas hob
    – Chemically smell that takes a while to go after being new
    – Griddle is slightly slippery for turning things like sausages

I’m not an expert at cooking by any means but I do understand all of the modes listed. There’s a good selection, like the grill, or slow cook, and an option to do a manual cook too with custom temperature/timings. There’s also dedicated modes for rice and stew, which is really cool, with a pamphlet of meal suggestions.

The unit itself looks really smart. It’s smooth, dark and the controls look snazzy. It looks expensive and I’ve got it living on our side, and although it does take up space it’s not super deep so it doesn’t dominate the worktop and it’s easy to slide back and forth. I like the size in terms of cooking so I wouldn’t want it to be any smaller.

I’ve made loads of food with this so far, like ramen, small fry-ups with the grill function, vegetarian spaghetti bolognese.. And even though when grilling it is slow, for me I quite like this as it means I can get on with other things when cooking and not worry about burning the food. Meat cooks perfectly on the bumpy lines on the grill attachment and it also cooks fried eggs perfectly without any oil too on the smooth half.

The other two sections, the main pot and the steam colander, are good for a mix of uses like slow cooking, sauting, general boiling of veg… The lid is great too – really strong glass – with a little steam hole, so mostly it doesn’t spit out loads of moisture above it (although if you’re cooking something smokey it may be worth sticking it under an extracter fan).

There’s a bit of a chemically smell, sort of like an electric smell, when you use it initially. Even after thoroughly cleaning it before and after use there’s still remnants left over after a few weeks.

The steam pan feels like plastic but this doesn’t take away from the quality. All parts feel and look durable, and honestly they are non-stick. Even when I’ve cooked things for too long I’ve had no issues with things sticking to the pan and it’s all been easy to wipe clean with a hot sponge, and it looks good as new still.

Each section has little easy to hold handles which makes it easy to move each part around (they aren’t totally heat proof but feel heat resistant) with the handle on top of the glass lid being rubberised and grippy. It does come with a little silicone hand oven mitt which can live on top of the tower: it’s really handy and works well. It all feels really seamless to take apart and move confidently and securely.

My verdict really is that even though this is electric and I worry about the expense of using it over gas, I much prefer using this than our hob. It has made some lovely meals so far and really helped with my disorganisation with the fact it can be layered and it’s made me want to find more one-pot meals to experiment with as it saves so much washing up!

It’s designed well, looks great and makes super tasty food too. Despite the few cons I still would recommend it highly. One caveit is that I don’t really know the brand so I’m not sure I’ll use the slow cooker when I’m out, but I’m sure that trust will build over time; they seem to sell good kitchen supplies but I can’t find an official website so I always air on the side or caution.

Overall, an asset to my kitchen and worth the footprint!

I hate cooking and this has saved me!

I was very sceptical about this Taylor Swoden 3-in-1 Multi Cooker until I tried it and it really changed my impressions entirely. To start with, this cooker provides 3 tiers which can host different types of foods and accommodate different cooking modes. The 3 tiers can be used simultaneously. For instance, you can prepare a stew in the base pot or boil rice, and steam some vegetables in the second tier, while heating some bread in the upper tier.

This gives you the ability to adjust the modes depending on your personal preferences. There are some preset modes which make cooking easy, but over time you need some manual adjustments to perfect your cooking.

The base which hosts the pots is also suitable for use with other pots as long as they fit within the dedicated area.

What I like most about this is the the hassle-free cooking experience. Earlier this week we cooked salmon, asparagus, and baby potato. We usually start with the potato as it takes longer. Once finished, we placed it on the upper tier and it remained piping hot. Usually we suffer with this when we use conventional means since foods get cooked in different durations and we end up obliged to reheat thing in the microwave. This cooker indeed made cooking even more enjoyable.

All in all, a very nice multi-tier cooker that saves a lot of time especially for small families. Cleaning it is equally easy. 5 Stars.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersSo far I’ve only used this clever little multi-cooker to make a fresh tomato pasta sauce and some garlic bread but it worked perfectly. The controls look slightly daunting at first but when you actually use them they’re very easy. First I sauted the garlic and chili in the cooking pot and then added the skinned tomatoes I’d put through a blender, added some water, herbs and seasoning and gave it all a good stir, put the lid on and switched it to slow cook and left it for the next four hours and soon realised that I didn’t have to keep checking to make sure it hadn’t boiled dry. When the slow cook program finished I removed the cooking pot and replaced it with the grill pan, switched the grill program on and grilled myself a slice of home made garlic bread. All very easy and the result was delicious. So, it’s very easy to use and is great for things like sauces and stews, burgers and steaks and at half the size it would be perfect for a student , but as it is the cooking pot would easily make sauce, stew or soup for 4 to 6 people, ditto toast on the grill pan and vegetables in the steamer. This is an issue because the only downside I found when cooking for one was that the pot, pan and lid were all very cumbersome to manoeuvre, even with the clever little oven glove that’s provided.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis was my first product from Taylor Swoden – it is not a brand I’ve heard of but given my experience of this product it is a brand I would consider in the future.

The multi cooker has so many different uses. Yesterday I used the grill pan to fry up some mid morning bacon for sandwiches – it handled the job very well and, most important for me, was incredibly easy to clean. I’m used to having to scrape at grill pans to clean up the mess, but this grill pan was so easy to wash.

Today I’m cooking a pork casserole using the pot and slow cooker function. I’m used to slow cookers and am so far very impressed with this offering. The pot is very large and sits nicely on the base. It does wobble a little when stirring but that doesn’t appear to detract from the cooking ability.

Overall, I’m looking forward to trying out all of the other functions offered, especially the rice setting. I’ll update my review if I feel the need to do so. If this is not updated, then you can be assured I am still very happy and impressed with this product.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe heating plate is quick to warm and heats evenly, one thing I found misleading was you can only use one thing at a time, except when steaming you need the pan with water underneath and the basket on top.
The panel and buttons is a little clunky, doesn’t feel premium, but it works well and is easy to work out.
The steam rack is plastic but the rest is weighty metal and heats quickly and retains the heat afterwards. I was surprised how quickly the plate heated up.
The cooking pot is very good and the keep warm auto function is excellent. I tried the grilling bit which cooked properly but I have to say I much preferred my normal grilling pan for the size and heat above crisps the bacon more.

Everything is well made and it all feels solid. The steamer is a revelation in cooking veg as well, much crispier and better flavours.

It’s not cheap but I’d say the different options make it worthwhile and while I wasn’t that impressed with the display it does work.

Works well, can only cook one thing at a time

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersIncluded with this multicooker is the cooker itself including gril pan, cooking pot, lid and steamer as well as two gloves and a few recipes to try.
I love the fact that it is multi layered and it gives you the freedom to cook multiple types of food in one unit, you don’t need separates, it keeps everything together and neat. You can though only use one of the functions at one time.
Taylor Swoden is not a brand I have heard of before so I was unsure what to expect but it is a solid little multicooker.
It seems to cook really well, I have tried each function and all the types of cooking are effective. One of the things I have used it for is bacon on the grill pan, this I felt would give the cooker a good test as you have nowhere to hide with bacon, you can place it in different places and see how it cooks and it makes a mess. The bacon did cook a little more in the middle than at the edges but it was not too bad and similar to results I have had in other cookers. It did not take too long to cook either but I did up the temperature from the default.
It is really easy to clean, even the bacon fat cleaned off really quickly and easily, the bonus here is that each of the pots and the grill can just be taken out and put in the sink for cleaning and all the fat came off without much effort.
The display is large, bright and clear with the temperature displayed on one side and the time of cooking, if required, on the other. Each mode is illuminated via a red light when activated and you swap modes with one button. The modes are saut, grill, rice, stew, slow cook, manual, steam and keep warm.
I did find that the cooking area is quite small, I think you would get a meal for 2 to 3 adults with this but i’m not sure it would give you enough for something such as a dinner party.
The user interface is good but it’s not perfect to swap modes you just have one button and you cycle through them, this is a little bit frustrating and it’s a shame for ease of use each mode did not have it’s own dedicated button. In a similar vein the timer and temperature are one button and once you have set the temperature you press again to move to the timer, once this is done I found it a little confusing as they just sit flashing for a while.
Each mode sets a default temperature and you can turn this up or down, it is really easy to do with the dedicated up and down buttons, you can also control the timer and change from the default.
It’s a solidly built multicooker with a clear and easy to read display, it cooks well but it does have some issues with the user interface, apart from that it’s a very good little cooker. It also comes with some nice little extras such as the recipe card and the gloves.

Works well, lots of different functions, just slightly frustrating controls
