Whilst not an expensive top brand it does the job very well indeed – perfect for the thick laurel hedge – so much easier to use than the old corded version – buy with utmost confidence.

Although not as powerful as my petrol hedge trimmer, it is quieter, lighter, less smelly and can cut all but our toughest hedges, including beech and hornbeam.

Very light weight hedge trimmer. Came with two batteries so there is a back up if you have a lot of cutting. Have used a couple of time and battery seems to last 40 minutes in full charge. Tried many corded hedge trimmers in past and this surpasses them and no cutting through the cable!

I’m new to hedge trimming, this is a great product. lightweight, easy to use and the battery lasted well over 40 mins, managed to cut at least 30 feet long over 5 feet high of hedges. I don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled to as i am soooo impressed !

Charge battery before using it. I then put the second battery on charge. The second battery had charged before the first has run out. Its cuts my hedges as good as my cable cutter. Light and easy to use
Only drawback I’ve found is that if the cutting blades gets damp it stops running – even with the battery at full power! The battery runs for long enough that when it eventually runs out the second battery (if you have one) is fully charged so you’re ready to go again.

Ease of use
Arrived today and my wife used it to trim our fairly substantial Conifer hedge. It cut lovely and was easy to charge up and use. If it continues like this, it will have been a very good buy!

Far better than I had initially thought it would be. I wouldn’t have known that it was cordless as there was no reduction in power. Light to hold and well balanced. All in all very happy with this hedge trimmer.

I bought this for my gardening business i normally use petrol hedge trimmers.
And i am sceptical about battery life however i used these on a customers over grown hedges i used them for around 1hr.
With no issues at all recharged the battery at home this only took 15 minutes so very little power drain. And two batteries are supplied which is ideal

Liked the product for it’s ease of use and lightness. Having 2 batteries is a bonus and although the charger appears flimsy it does the job. Yet to use to cut my hedge due to adverse weather and will update review if any issues.

The hedge trimmer works very well with use the battery ran for 40 minutes. I found it extremely lightweight compared to corded hedge cutters used in the past. Two batteries supplied is very useful , I decided to purchase and extra battery because of the size of my hedge . Overall comment is a first class product at a fair price , fast delivery and good customer service back up.

This product is very good, just as I expected, but I only received one battery not two as indicated on the description which helped me decide to place the order.
Have used this hedge trimmer a few times now. I have a couple of fairly high (8ft.) conifer hedges with a run of about 10 metres each. I also have a smallish tree which I trim each autumn. The hedge trimmer has coped well with all these. I found having 2 batteries is useful, although each battery runs for over 1 hour before needing a re-charge, which takes about an hour to get fully charged again. The small LED indicators on the batteries are useful to estimate how much charge is left. It is also a lot lighter than my old corded one, and you don’t have the weight of the cord .
I have also lent it to my son-in-law who lives next door to me for him to do his part of our joint conifer hedge, and he found it much better than the corded one he used to borrow from me before (and has twice cut through the cable).
No such problems with this battery one!

I bought this along with Terratek’s – strimmer, and I have to say that this hedge trimmer is absolutely brilliant too. It is lightweight and very quiet compared to all the others I’ve owned. It cuts the hedge easily, and the batteries are super efficient, one battery managed a 120 ft. hedge both side and the top before I needed to swop to second battery for more hedges. Was worried because I did not know the name Terratek, but I needn’t have been it is excellent. I highly recommend this hedge trimmer.

Promptly delivered, minimal but adequate packaging. Initial use was excellent; not too heavy for me (female 65) and easily trimmed a 3m privet hedge and some long grass without recharging. Second use, appeared to be broken but persistence and after some fiddling about with the sequence of switching on eventually it started and was then fine. Not sure why (maybe something stuck between blades? if so it must have been very small, not obvious) but I’m hoping this is not going to be a regular occurrence. Other than that, it is a useful tool which does the job better than my previous (more expensive) corded trimmer.
very handy as a lightweight cutter, but that is a disadvantage as it goes through fresh growth ok, then you get to something that’s getting woody (even small stuff) and it keeps stopping. Still, being easily manoeuvred, it isn’t too much of a problem, except that the job takes a bit longer because of stopping and starting, although only momentarily. Great idea being cordless, and a good battery that is easy to charge. I don’t know yet how long a charge will last.
