Buena relación calidad precio
Despus de haberlo utilizado durante ms de un mes mi opinin sobre el joystick es muy buena. Su precisin en los ejes x y es genial. Tambin lo es el tacto del acelerador , ni muy suave ni muy duro, aunque el acabado de este podra mejorar. El botn gatillo tiene mucha holgura aunque eso me da igual porque prcticamente te no lo uso. Vuelo normalmente un Airbus A320 y para ello est muy bien. Los dems botines los puedes programar para lo que quieras hay suficientes

Ho preferito provarlo un p prima di dare un giudizio. Lo uso com MFS. Fortunatamente i 3 assi risultano ottimamente tarati asse Z incluso. La zona morta impostata di default sul 2%(niente) ed molto precisa. Cambia completamente il mondo di volare.

Fatto molto bene, preciso ed esteticamente molto simile a quello dell’airbus nella realt,
basta configurarlo bene ed e fatta. buon volo a tutti.
Excellent Produc
Quality product that you would expect from Thrustmaster. I found that the setup can be a little finicky in MFS2020 but once you figure out which buttons correspond to ‘x’ number it becomes a lot easier to adjust as you need.
The spoilers, throttles and flaps/slats levers are shaped as their real counterparts and all have detents which make an audible ‘click’ when you reach said detent which makes everything a hell of a lot easier as you don’t have to look over to check you have the correct lever in the correct position as you can feel/hear them. You can also remove the detents by unscrewing a panel on the base of the quadrant and rotating it 180 degrees which I did for the spoilers to make it feel more authentic.
The only con for me is that the wire leading from the sidestick and from the throttle quad (2 separate wires) are shorter than most meaning I had to rearrange my gaming layout to be able to plug them into my PC. If you’re using a desk this wont be a problem but if you’re like me and play in your living room you may struggle slightly.

Kommt dem Original recht nah
Ausgepackt, angeschlossen, losgeflogen. – Diese Rezenzion beschreibt die Verwendung des “Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant Add-on Airbus Edition” mit dem Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. – Obacht.. gemeint ist das Addon zum Leistungsquadranten, nicht der Leistungsquadrant selbst. (Die Rezenzionen hier sind ein wenig durcheinander und der eine schreibt ber den Sidestick, der andere ber den Leistungsquadranten, und ich eben ber das Addon zum Leistungsquadranten.
Zunchst gefllt mir die Optik und die Haptik sehr, wobei die Optik SEHR vom Original abweicht:
Die Platzierung der Elemente ist natrlich willkrlich, und ein wenig zusammengerckt, da man halt nicht das komplette Center Pedestal nachbauen konnte, sondern nur die wichtigsten Controls haptisch zur Verfgung stellen wollte.
Die Haptik der Bedieninstrumente ist jedoch berwiegend vorbildlich: Die Park Break, Rudder Trim und Auto Break-Elemente kommen dem Original SEHR nah.
Wobei das Drehelement der Auto Break wohl eher der Boeing nachempfunden wurde. Der Airbus hat seine Auto Break mit digitalen pushbuttons auf der FO-Seite des FlightDecks. Wohl auch ein Grund, warum sie z.B. in der 787 des FS2020 sofort funktionieren, in der A320 aber keine Reaktion an der AutoBreak zeigt. (Hier mu man selbst in den Steuerungseinstellungen fr den Airbus anpassen.)
Die wohl grten Abweichungen gibt es bei der Air Break und dem Flaps-Hebel: Diese lassen sich zwar normal (wie auf einer Achse) bedienen, rasten auch ein, jedoch mu beim Original der Hebel zunchst entsperrt werden (Spitze Hochziehen, bevor der Hebel bewegt werden kann).
Das ist im “Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant Add-on Airbus Edition” nicht originalgetreu nachempfunden.
Man kann einfach den Hebel bewegen. Es gibt keinen Schutz, falls man mal ausversehen anstt.
Und: Die AirBreak kann nicht ge-armt werden. Es gibt nur aus und an in div. Rasterstrken.
Der Gear-Lever fhlt sich auch anders an. Nicht so schwer, ist aber okay fr den Heimgebrauch.
Die Park-Break kommt dem Original recht nah. Jedes Mal ein erhabenes Gefhl, wenn man die drehen kann. : )
Das Rudder-Trim-Element fhlt sich auch echt an.
Was das “Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant Add-on Airbus Edition” leider auch vermissen lt, sind die Trim-Rder links und rechts vom Leistungsquadranten. – Das ist zwar schade, aber vermutlich technisch nicht kostengnstig umsetzbar. Eventuell fehlt es hier auch am Polling zwischen der Flugsimulator-Software und der Hardware, soda Thrustmaster sich das nicht antun wollte/konnte. Auch mten dafr Motoren verbaut werden, was den Preis des Addons nach oben treiben wrde, genau wie potentielle Gewhrleistungsansprche an Thrustmaster, falls mal so ein Motor binnen zwei Jahren ausfllt..
Heraus kommt denoch ein sehr gut nutzbares Produkt, das den Leistungsquadranten sinnvoll ergnzt.
Ich bin froh, da ich ein Addon ergattern konnte. (Ist recht schwierig da ranzukommen, dieser Tage, da Thrustmaster wohl nach wie vor Lieferengpsse zu haben scheint.)
Wer die Chance hat, und einen TCA Leistungsquadranden bereits dastehen hat, sollte sich das Addon holen. Macht Laune damit zu arbeiten… ehhh zu spielen.. ; )

Jetzt macht das Fliegen mit dem MSFS2020 richtig Spa, viel besser als mit dem XBOX Controller.
Er steht stabil auf dem Tisch und kippt auch nicht um (wie manche hier behaupten).
Er wird sofort von MSFS erkannt und die Knpfe sind richtig zugewiesen. Wobei ich demnchst die Belegung doch etwas ndern werde, ist halt Geschmackssache.
Kann das Gert sehr empfehlen.
PS. Wer noch nicht mit einer VR Brille fliegt, versucht es mal. Das ist ein ganz anderes Niveau. Ihr werdet danach nie wieder am Monitor fliegen mchten.

Attesa immensa ma ne è valsa la pena.
Unica manetta possibile per potrare dignitosamente un airbus. Anche se sono rimasto male per l’arm degli spoilers mancante. Il resto ben fatto e funzionale. Ho acquistato anche l’add-on che consiglio assolutamente. Meno la politica sui prezzi e sui pezzi che non si trovano in giro! Ho atteso 7 mesi per acquistarlo ad un prezzo “ragionevole”. Comunque consigliato.
Good stick, but pricey for what it really is
This is a nice flight stick with a lovely feel to the movement. The interchangable buttons are handy, as its always nice to have a few spares in case of issues. However the plastics used are “tacky & low quality” for the base cover. Feels like a 10 childs toy level of quality. The stick itself has better quality but the trigger button is also cheap feeling and a bit loose, so expect it to break if you use it vigrously. The adverstised “reverse thruster” is useless, as its too fiddly to use due to no detenting for the zero throttle point. The base plate buttons are also cheap and tacky with a loose finish. The tacticle response is terrible, as the clickplate underneath is not lined up properly resulting in failed presses due to buttons clashing and sticking in the housing.
What is good is that its cheaper than the normal “un branded” version for some unknown reason and its a nice slate blue colour. Honestly expected better quality as this price point, as its a replacement for a 10 year old Logitech Extreme 3d Pro. Was going to buy another 3d Pro and changed my mind for this one as the logitech 3d Pro was out of stock at the time. This is more precise and smoother to use but the logitech does still feel more robust than this TCA sidestick.
So TLDR = Should be priced cheaper / decent enough quality overall / 4 out 5 – good but not great
Personal note; If you are on a budget, just get a logitech 3d pro instead of this. You can get it for almost 1/2 the price and it even if it wont last as long, or be as precise, it’s still a good stick for its price range. If you are not on a budget, skip this completely and go for a real stick from a professional sim vendor.

Great addition to MS Flight Simulator, nice finish
I bought the Thrustmaster TCA to go with Microsoft Flight Simulator and it really makes a huge difference, just playing with the joystick is not very difficult but doesn’t feel real, with this addition it feels way better. The colors, the switches, look like a real cockpit and I know what I’m talking about, I’ve been in flight simulators and cockpits from A320, A330, A340 and A350, it has the Airbus feeling. Doesn’t feel flimsy or fragile, and it’s a good value.

What can I say. This baby is all I can want and more. Love is a joystick. Quality build. Works well with Microsoft flight simulator 2020. Will eventually cost me much more as I add on more pieces but what they hey, that’s the price I’m willing to pay.
Just wanted to add that the first one sent seemed to be lost in shipment and when I contacted the company they immediately sent me a replacement no questions asked at no additional charge. And this is not an inexpensive item. Later on, when the first one showed up I contacted them and they sent me a prepaid label and I returned it. No hassles at all no bullxxxx about paying for a new one in advance. To me this is the mark of a quality company that cares about their customers.
Easy set up and good weigh
Bought for MSFS 2020. Although geared to the A320 it works on all aircraft types. Easy set up within MSFS 2020 and setting of buttons to commands to personal choice. I replaced my sturdy old Thrustmaster with is and have not looked back.

Love Flight Simulation and bought this one to enjoy it more, and definitely it was a good choice. The Joystick is very precise and with a lot of options and buttons. The throttle is very good with the reverse option that is perfect. Not 5 stars because the throttle is not very precise and sometimes not easy to control the correct amount when on non auto pilot planes but it’s was a very good buy.

Stick spettacolare a prezzo contenuto
Lo stick di ottima fattura, materiali di qualit e, per farvi capire quanto solido al tatto, il metodo che usa per ancorarsi alla scrivania solo ed esclusivamente il peso. Appoggiato sul tappetino ce tengo sotto mouse e tastiera durante il gioco la base non si mossa di un millimetro.
Appena collegato Windows l’ha riconosciuto subito senza nemmeno il bisogno di scaricare i driver.
Io l’ho comprato principalmente per giocare a GTAV (lo so, sono un eretico, lapidatemi) che richiede qualche passo aggiuntivo per farlo funzionare visto che Gta di base non riconosce volanti e stick.
5 stelle meritate per la fattura e la facilit di funzionamento.

Good stick response, tiny throttle axis
Reasonable build quality, was expecting better for the money but suppose it does the job. Using with MS Flight Simulator, plug and play, good response and twist rudder is handy, throttle axis range is super small and so sensitive to any movement. Would buy the separate throttle quadrant but it is daftly expensive for what it is.

Quality piece of kit. For any Flight simulator fan. Well built and easy to set up. Ive bern pkayong on it fot approximately 40 hours now and its so easy and comfortable to use.
They controls are quite chunky so leave plenty of space on your desk. Awesome piece of kit.
Great joystick
Great improvement over my last joystick with very smooth input, great for flying sims. Msfs2020 recognises it straight away even mapping out the controls for you. The ability to change buttons on the top making it easy for right handed and left handed people alike to use this joystick. Also plenty of choice with add ons that work well with this product. All in all well worth the money.

Lets focus on the negatives first as this will help you make an investment decision in this model vs the regular Thrustmaster T16000M FCS Hotas model –
However you try and set up the throttle curves it is very difficult to set the curves right. The first 1/3rd motion the throttle will translate to almost 75% thrust and the rest 2/3rd covers the rest. This is okay if you are exclusively using an Airbus A320 like the excellent FlyByWire free addon for MSFS, which also comes with its own software base throttle detent calibration feature. Otherwise, with other aircraft its a pain to set up a realistic response curve. I still prefer it over the sliding throttle design. You may try SpadNEXT or FSUIPC (both payware utilities) to help configure custom axes, events and curves.
The joystick, again, is no different from the regular T1600M mechanically. It’s great if you are flying Airbus’s and can be configured for left hand or right hand usage. However for GA aircraft the T1600M will give you a better button layout on the stick with more buttons for trim etc.

Joli, mais léger, très léger...
Aprs une longue hsitation due aussi au fait que la sortie de FS 2020 a cr un terrible appel d’air et rendu la disponibilit des commandes de vol de tous poils proche du zro absolu, sans oublier les prix totalement dmentiels de ces produits, j’ai choisi le TCA. Il faut tre patient et rendre Csar ce qui appartient Amazon, ou l’inverse je ne sais pas car je l’ai eu un prix normal et il a t livr bien plus rapidement que les 6 semaines annonces. Il me fallait remplacer mon vieux X45 qui aprs plus de 20 ans de bons et loyaux services commenait dcliner. J’avais dj acquis le “side stick” et la manette des gaz tait logiquement la suivante. Je ne fais plus que de la simu civile donc le choix me paraissait vident. Aprs quelques jours d’utilisation, voici mon opinion: Les plastiques sont cheap mais le produit est bien fini et la cinmatique des commandes plutt russie et semble raliste. Il manque quelques boutons et il faudra nouveau sortir la carte bleue pour le complter. Il est trs lger et il ne faut pas trop durcir les axes des gaz sous peine de dplacer l’ensemble de la manette. Il vous faudra peaufiner la sensibilit pour ne pas rendre le “taxi” trop dlicat (difficile de doser car le dbut de l’axe est trop sensible) mais une fois que c’est fait, c’est assez satisfaisant. Il y a toutefois quelques bmols ma satisfaction. D’abord, il n’est vraiment utilisable qu’avec un Airbus cause des dtentes sur les axes des gaz. Certes, on peut les supprimer, mais il faut un tournevis et plusieurs manips trs contraignantes. Ensuite, il semble qu’elle provoque des plantages de FS 2020 qui n’a vraiment pas besoin de a. En bon produit Microsoft qui se respecte, les “CTD” sont quotidiens et il semble que les pilotes Thrustmaster en rajoutent. Bref, content, oui, mais aussi frustr…

Achet pour Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, livraison rapide et installation ultra-simple. Aucun regret sur l’achat, je m’clate avec le combo joystick + quadrant ! Ce sont des rpliques exactes de ceux dans les Airbus, et a en jette. Petite prcision tout de mme pour les aviateurs en herbe, le quadrant n’est pas trs adapt aux avions mono-moteurs type Cessna ou quadri-moteurs comme Boeing, dans ces cas l, il vaut mieux utiliser la manette de gaz en bas du joystick pour grer les moteurs. Achet pour Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, livraison rapide et installation ultra-simple. Aucun regret sur l’achat, je m’clate avec le combo joystick + quadrant ! Ce sont des rpliques exactes de ceux dans les Airbus, et a en jette. Petite prcision tout de mme pour les aviateurs en herbe, le quadrant n’est pas trs adapt aux avions mono-moteurs type Cessna ou quadri-moteurs comme Boeing, dans ces cas l, il vaut mieux utiliser la manette de gaz en bas du joystick pour grer les moteurs. So what can you say about a joystick??? I was quite excited about trying this stick after my previous Thrustmaster T.Flight broke…..those potentiometers don’t last forever. This stick however uses a totally different system for sensing movement which is so much better. As a heavy X-Plane user I was hoping the control of the A319/A321 would improve ever so slightly. Here’s my opinion…
— Installation on Windows 10 —
Install the drivers as it makes switching between mode1/2throttle easier.
Don’t install the SMART software unless you really need it.
— Pitch/roll/yaw axis —
Much better than the potentiometer models
There is plenty of travel in all directions
Yaw can be locked if you have pedals
— Buttons —
Loads of buttons and all work well although you sometimes need to be very positive and press in the centre of the buttons located on the base.
— Left / Right handed switching —
This is easy to switch. Personally I prefer right handed mode.
A small screwdriver is needed to swap the buttons. Remember to switch the button underneath the base to left or right
— Throttle —
Where do I start. Thrustmaster have tried to make this “clever” and failed miserably. There are 2 modes. Mode1 is a standard throttle so the bottom stop is idle and the top stop is full throttle. Mode2 is designed for aircraft with reversers and moves the idle position about 5mm forward of the bottom stop as well as adding an additional button to the bottom position. The idea is that you map “toggle reversers” to this extra button. So you reduce the throttle to idle passing over the threshold, then move the slider to the bottom on touchdown to trigger the reversers, then slide all the way forward for full throttle reverse……then to idle, then to the bottom to turn off the reversers….then back to idle. This seems like such a great idea but it’s actually rubbish for one simple reason. Thrustmaster didn’t engineer the physical idle detent point correctly so you can’t actually feel the stop point. You can see in the picture the recess for the detent, and also the piece of plastic which is supposed to provide resistance at the idle point. It just doesn’t work as it needs to be sprung. What ends up happening is you’re constantly trying to work out if you’re are at idle, or if you’ve set the reversers off. I went back to mode1 and assigned the reversers to a button and have no issues. The throttle range and sensitivity in mode1 is excellent.
In summary, a great controller with a terrible (mode2) throttle implementation.

Wer Propmaschine fliegt , Fr den ist dieser Joy Stick nicht unbedingt die gute Wahl. Hier wre ein Steuerhorn realistischer und auch einfacher zu fliegen.
Macht was he
Ich habe mir den Sidestick gekauft, weil er Preis-Leistungsmig als der Beste am (aktuell eher dnnen) Markt erschien, wenn man nicht gleich 250 fr das Honeycomb Yoke ausgeben will. Tatschlich fliege ich am Sim auch eher GA Flugzeuge mit Yoke. Diese lassen sich aber trotzdem sehr przise bedienen, wenn man die Empfindlichkeit im MFS 2020 etwas anpasst.
Der Stick ist allgemein sehr wertig, der einzige Schwachpunkt ist die Schubregelung. Der IDLE-Punkt ist schwer zu finden und wird bei Flugzeugen ohne Schubumkehr auch nicht als solcher erkannt, sondern eher als 10% Leistung. Die anderen Knpfe sind aber 1A.
Den eigentlichen Throttle finde ich von der Qualitt dagegen nicht so preislich passend. Auch weil die dort aufgefhrten Extra-Buttons (Zndung) nicht so wirklich praktisch sind. Die meisten Flugzeuge die eine etwas anders aufgebaute Zndung haben erkennen diesen nicht, sodass der Schlssel stndig auf Start springt, was sich nervig anhrt und souvern fr einen Motorausfall sorgt.

Gutes AddOn mit Mängel
Mit den 3 Airbus AddOns macht der MSFS im A320 deutlich mehr Spa!
Der Stick ist gut verarbeitet und funktioniert einwandfrei. Klasse Extra fr Airbus-Fans. Reichlich Tasten, die bei Bedarf frei belegt werden knnen. An den USB-C angeschlossen, wird der Stick direkt erkannt und kann unmittelbar genutzt werden! Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut!. Nichts zu beanstanden (5 Sterne)
Der Schubhebel weisst allerdings mehrere Mngel auf:
– Viiiiel zu klein geraten, komplett unterdimensioniert!
– Die Abstnde (TOGA/Flex/ Climb /Idle) passen leider absolut nicht. Whrend zwischen TO/GA, FLX/MCT,CL reichlich platzt ist, ist dort, wo er gebraucht, wird, zwischen CL und Idle kaum mehr Spiel. Fr eine vernnftige Landung unter erschwerten Bedingung ist der Schubhebel eine zustzlich Herausforderung. Ausserdem ist er falsch kalibriert. Entweder CL oder FLX mssen nachjustiert werden. Zudem macht der Schubhebel nach jedem Update neue Probleme. Aktuelle (16.08.21) macht engine 1 Probleme (nur wenn der Schubhebel verwendet wird). Insgesamt wirkt der Schubhebel wie ein (billiges) Spielzeug. Ich wrde nicht sagen, der Preis ist per Se zu hoch, aber fr die Leistung dann doch etwas. Wirklich immersive wird die Simulation damit leider nicht. Sehr schade, hatte mich sehr darauf gefreut. Es htte mit (etwas) mehr Liebe zum Detail ein tolles Feature bereit gestellt werden knnen. Wer eine 1:1 Nachbildung inkl. Trimmrad mchte, muss dafr ber 1000,- ausgeben, daher erwartet niemand ein “perfekten” Nachbau. Aber hier htte man nur ein klein wenig mehr Arbeit, bzw. Gedanken investieren knnen/sollen? Mit sehr viel Wohlwollen noch 4 Sterne fr den Schubhebel , eigentlich wohl eher 3, abhngig von der Erwartung, die man hat.
Das AddOn mit flaps/Spoiler… etc. ist wieder topp! Auch nicht 1 zu 1 nachgebildet, die Hebel gehen nur vor zurck, knnen nicht gezogen werden, Spoiler nur “scharf” stellen funktioniert daher nicht. Das Ma ist ebenfalls zu klein, ABER: alles funktioniert und erleichtert die Steuerung ungemein! Auch wenn die gear lever damit an falscher Stelle sind, sind sie ein weiteres tolles Extra. Damit sind alle wichtigsten Funktion zusammen und knnen leicht und schnell bedient werden!
Zusammengefasst: AddOn (flaps, spoiler, …) & Joystick eine absolute Kaufempfehlung! Der Schubhebel etwas enttuschend, aber auch nicht gnzlich schlecht & besser mit, als ohne. Ich empfehle alle 3 AdsOns, dann machen Stick / flaps… die Mngel des Schubhebels vergessen und das Gesamterlebnis ist sehr gu
Bin echt begeistert von dem Joystick!
Fr den Hobby Piloten am PC ein absolutes Must Have! Habe mir diesen Joystick fr den Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 und X-Plane 11 geholt. Das tolle an dem Joystick ist das es nach dem Plug and Play Prinzip funktioniert, sprich das Teil war nach dem Auspacken direkt einsatzbereit ohne das ich vorher irgendwelche Treiber installieren musste! Mit beiden Simulatoren ist dieser Joystick kompatibel und funktioniert und reagiert reibungslos! Die Tasten kann man nach persnlichen Belieben neu belegen. Fr knapp 70 bekommt man einen guten Joystick der mit den gngigsten Flugsimulatoren kompatibel ist und zudem auch noch dem Original Airbus Sidestick nachempfunden wurde! Die Schubhebel werde ich mir definitiv demnchst dazukaufen! Tolle Arbeit hat Thrustmaster hier geleistet!

Ich hatte nicht wirklich erwartet, dass fr einen gar nicht so hohen Preis etwas qualitativ gutes kommt.
Ich schreibe mal gleich was mich total positiv berrascht hat:
Die Genauigkeit, Liniealitt und das Ansprechverhalten der Achsen !
Sogar am Ende der Ansteuerkurven ist die Genauigkeit gegeben.
Der Schubregler mach was er soll und man gieniesst ihn zu schieben.
Das Gert wird wurde in jedem meiner Spiele sofort erkannt wobei jegliche Kalibrierung nur ein Mal gemacht werden musste.
Negatives?
Da muss ich nachdenken…und mir fast was ausdenken…
Naja, vielleicht htten die zwei Hauptachsen des Joysticks etwas leichtgngiger sein sollen und mechanisch arretierbar??? Wre schn muss aber nicht sein.
Und, naja….die Taster auf dem Steuerknppel etwas qualitativer – ja diese machen schlechten Eindruck aber haben noch nie versagt.

Meine HOTAS WARTHOG – Technik spielt da in einer anderen Liga!
Der verbaute Throttles ist ein Witz und wird von mir auch nicht genutzt!
Ich nutze nur den Stick und arbeite mit dem Paddel. Der Stick arbeitet gut und mehr wollte ich ja auch nicht!
Das Gert hat keine Standfestigkeit, weil es einfach zu leicht ist! Es sollte fixirt werden!!! Aktion Bohrmaschine ist bei mir angesagt, aber bei einem Schreibtisch ist das wohl wenig sinnvoll! Hier wird man wohl zur mechanischen Halterung zurckgreifen mssen.
Der Sidestick ist eine preiswerte Anschaffung und technisch auf dem neusten Stand!

Bought this a week ago . Loving it . Gives a complete different experience of controlling the aircraft and also helps in honing your landing skils . Very addictive.
Build quality – Its good and no cons about the same .
Configuring in X – Plane – Its automatic and can be programmed to your liking . The device gets recognised instantly on X-Plane 11 Windows version.
Cons.
Not sure why but the autopilot disconnect button (red) doesnt work on boeing aircraft . While X plane 11 doesnt have this auto pilot disconnect context , any thing related to auto pilot or throttles dont work if configured here for this button.
Throttle quadrant – Becomes a big problem after you take off , As this needs to be manually adjusted back to idle and finding it is damn difficult . Also after TR , bring this back must be remembered as this doesnt happen automatically and hence the plane starts next time with TR on.
Overall a good product and worth the price ( price could be a bit lower as they dont have any kind of visual indication of lights etc )

No issues with the stick yet, can’t believe there are bad reviews because people struggled to get a stick during a global flight peripheral shortage caused by MSFS2020.
Joystick feels great to hold, even during longer sessions. Feels more precise than the T.16000 and I’ve had no Z-axis issues like the predecessor. I cannot fault this stick for the price. Like how you can customise which buttons are on the side.
Would appreciate a combat version of this with more buttons and maybe a second hat switch.

First of all, I liked the delivery. It was delivered within 4 days of placing order to a remote location like mine! So delivery gets 5 ***** !
Secondly, the packaging was top class. Actually there was a major dent on the outer cardboard carton when I received it, and I was worried. Hence I decided to photograph each step of the opening process. However I needn’t have bothered. Inside the outer cardboard carton, there was a second inner carton with a bit of packing material in between. The inner carton was stronger than the outer one, and this was intact. Within this, was the actual product carton (made of flimsy material, but then that is OK. Sufficient reinforcements outside!). Opening this, I found the product inside. Ship-shape of course. Hence the perfect 5 stars above for delivery.
Now the product itself. The MSFS 2020 and XPlane are the only software that I use this for, hence my review will also be oriented towards the same. I have earlier used the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, which is a very good joystick in itself, hence most of the comparisons will, intentionally or unintentionally also be based upon that model. The joystick itself looks just great. A matter of personal preference, probably, but I like the looks of this product much better than the Logitech counterpart. It looks almost classy enough to have come out of an Airbus cockpit. But then, that’s purely subjective.
The build quality looks and feels excellent. Especially the base. It feels solidly put together. It is of-course all plastic, but the plastic dome and the base plate all feel solid. No flex, or squeaks/creaks etc upon applying pressure to any area. It feels reasonably weighted as well, so as to rest on the surface while moving the stick around. A bit more of weightage would have given the user more reassurance though. I have hot had any issues with it after a week of use, mind you, but I would still have been happier with a little bit more of weight to the base. Again a matter of opinion.
The joystick itself feels good in your hands. It does not have the solid feel of the base plate, but it is good enough. It doesnt feel sticky at any point in its travel, and the lockable twist function is a bonus. I am not sure if it is all that some people make this out to be (don’t twist it if you dont need it – if some of that 6.5K price tag goes towards this lockable twist function, I would have preferred to have a cheaper joystick with a non-lockable twist function), but it is there.
It also has a throttle control. I did read some pretty lousy reviews about this, and was not expecting much from the same, but when I got it in hand, I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely it is not a replacement for a separate throttle quadrant, otherwise the INR 15K plus throttle quadrants wouldn’t have their “raison d’etre”. But this is definitely far better than the piddly little knob on the Logitech counterpart. With a little bit of care, I was actually able to use this to control throttle functions in most conditions. (However the slider type of control used here will, over time, permit dust to enter through the slot, and damage the insides I suspect. Will need to wait and see.)
I found the ergonomics on the joystick handle to be excellent. My hand rests very comfortably on the handle and I did not have any issues over multiple hours of use. So 5 stars again for everything so far on this joystick.
Now, for what could have been better. First of all, the switches all around. Even though the buttons seem to be made of good quality plastic, I am very disappointed with the tactile feedback.The switch actions are very vague and can only be called lousy. They are the lowlight of this otherwise excellent product.
The buttons on the base are split equally on both sides of the joystick arm and depending on the hand in use, half of them are always out of reach without removing your grip on the joystick. It would be difficult to avoid this, I know, but it is in fact another sore point.
Finally, I would have preferred if they had provided a longer USB cable. The existing one is definitely not short mind you (maybe about a meter and a half or so I believe), but a longer one would have been preferred, especially for people who use large gaming cabinets for their CPU and need to use a USB port on the rear. Probably have to use an extension cable, or a hub on the front I suppose, like I do.
For the above two or three mild irritants, I have given 4 stars to this otherwise 5 star product. All in all, as of now I am a very satisfied customer, very happy with this purchase.

Good for the price
It’s not a premium product but offers a decent quality of construction and sensitivity.
Positive: good response for aileron and elevators (even better after adjusted and calibrated on the game, of course). Good ergonomics. Good number of buttons to be assigned.
Negative: poor response for rudder (difficult even adjusting as good as possible in game, but it gets acceptable). Some buttons are smaller and can be mistaken when trying to operate them without looking.

I love this setup. Good quality plastics, switches feel nice, and levers travel smoothly. One complaint is with the design. I'm not sure why they opted to put the landing gear lever on the left and the park brake on the right? Those should be swapped around to reflect a more realistic layout. Otherwise a good product.
I love this setup. Good quality plastics, switches feel nice, and levers travel smoothly. One complaint is with the design. Feels premium for the price
Really happy with the stick and throttle quadrant. Both feel really nice to use and have a lot of customisation options.
Out of the box the throttle is very sensitive, but can easily be amended in FS2020.
I’ll be trying to get the add-ons for the throttle next.
Very Impressive, Turned Me Into A First Officer Instantly
This is a superb quality piece of control equipment, downloaded the Thrustmaster drivers, checked for a firmware update, mine was up-to-date. Plugged in both usb cables into my pc, windows found both joystick and quadrant no problem.
Fired up MSFS 2020 and there they were, both in controls, I didn’t have to change any of the buttons, no remapping, it was all there ready to use.
Loaded up a airbus A320neo , taking off from Manchester to Heathrow and used the startup etc checklist, all the buttons work and I actually felt like I was in the cockpit in charge of this airliner. Very immersive and for the money its a steal. I thought my Logitech 3DEXTREME PRO joystick was good but this is another level. It’s great quality, well built and has transformed this flight sim for me. The joystick feels great in the hand and when you move it the movements are velvety smooth and exact.

Das Produkt ist sehr gut. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut, die Steuerung ist sehr gut und auch das Aussehen ist sehr gut. Die Steuerung ist sehr interessant da ich so einen Flightstick zum ersten mal benutzte. Es passte sich sehr gut an die Steuerung von Star Wars Squadrons an und es macht auch echt spa damit zu fliegen.

Nun, der Stick ist sehr gut gelungen wir ich finde. Ich mag die Festigkeit der Achsen und die Wahl der zustzlichen Knpfe. Allerdings habe ich groe Hnde und komme berall gut hin.
Der Schubhebel ist wirklich gut gelungen. Fr das Fliegen mit einem Airbus.
Fr alles andere braucht man einen anderen. Die Abstufungen sind fr die Rasten im Airbus gemacht und dadurch ist der Weg von 0-100 total Kurz.
Bei Msfs2020 benutze ich den Schubhebel nur fr den A320neo , bei allen anderen Flugzeugen nehme ich den vom Joystick.
Daher auch nur 4 Sterne.

I use this Sidestick and Thrust Controller for MSFS2020. It took a while to set up the throttles for the simulator – It was necessary to download the thrustmaster drivers and tools to calibrate the device so not a simple plug and play situation. It was also necessary to create additional Control profiles for some aircraft m- eg CRJ700, as the axis setup is different.
The sidestick feels solid and is great to use. The ThrustController doesn’t feel as solid but also provides a good feel. I particularly like the reverse thrust mechanism. It has an easy adjustment to over-ride the reverse thrust when flying aircraft without reverse thrust so the controller’s full range of movement is utilised for those aircraft.

Nice action and quality.
This is a very nice stick. Used with MS Flight Sim ( no set up required ) and Star Wars knights of the republic ( in game set up a must ). Very responsive and doesn’t feel like it is going to break when thrown from side to side. Lovely yaw control that can be used while banking ( if you have enough air speed ).
I wish the buttons were numbered as they are confusing especially when setting up for a non- flight sim application. My son didn’t like the throttle position, but don’t blame Thrust master, that is Airbuss’s layout and I am fine with it.
Bit pricey,but all joysticks are in short supply and it was money well spent.

Ein Punkt Abzug gibt es die ewige Nichtverfgbarkeit. Warum auch immer.
Die Kalibrierung beim MSFS ist so – naja. Bei XPlane wesentlich besser, oder sogar sehr gut.
Ich habe den Throttle fr A320 Ultimate, A321 und A350 gut kalibriert bekommen und er macht exakt das, was er soll. Auf der rechten Seite hatte sich der Anschlagbolzen fr Idle verschoben und sorgte fr eine ungenaue Position. Den Bolzen habe ich wieder in Position gebracht (aufschrauben), eher ein kleiner Mangel. Gleich am Anfang habe ich mir eine Schale gedruckt, die beide Regler synchroniesiert. Das macht das Ganze etwas einfacher und beide Triebwerke laufen damit sehr gleichmig. Die Schale kann man mit wenig Kraft und einer Hand leicht wieder abziehen. Ansonsten macht es nach der ganzen Einstellerei nun wirklich Spa damit zu fliegen.

Great piece of kit. Realistic, well thought out and designed. An excellent smaller replica of the real-life unit. Lots of detail, sturdy, and the adjustable friction on the throttle levers give them a nice realistic feel. Highly Recommended.
