A bit smaller than expected, but very easy to handle and has a vetter performance than the our previous 900w machine. On out previous micorwave I’ve never set the time as it was so complicated, but on this it was so easy that I’ve done without a manual. A special add on that there is a small printing with the explanation of the auto menus that makes it simple to use.

This looks a really sturdy microwave oven. I’ve had several over the years, and chose this because it seems to solve some of the common problems I’ve encountered
(1) you just pull the door to open it, it opens easily and there is no fiddly button mechanism to go wrong
(2) the turntable is recessed at the bottom of the oven, so the glass plate is less likely to shift off the little wheeled gadget and tip your food all over the oven
(3) it has an enamel interior, so the interior surface won’t bubble up and peel away in time
However, the interior light is not exactly bright and so its not easy to see the food when its cooking. Also, the sequence of buttons to push just to get it to heat up something is several steps long – you’ll need the instruction manual the first few times for sure.
But I’m pleased with it overall – more pluses than negatives!

Just wanted an easy to use fairly compact microwave! Initially felt overwhelmed by insteuctions but in fact easy to use! Couldn’t get used used to it have a handel as previous microwaves didn!t have one but other than that ok to use!

This is a super microwave. I ordered it because Which magazine had given it such a good review. So easy to use. You do not need a degree in physics! Simple. Can even mute the beeps if you need to. It looks good and does exactly what it is supposed to do. The user manual is fine and explains what you need to know. The door is easy to open. If I had taken notice of what some people have written on this site I would not have ordered it. It is perfect. It accommodates a 10inch, 25.5cms plate. It is just perfect. So pleased.

The Toshiba 800 w 20 L Microwave Oven is a great piece of kit for your kitchen. It’s super easy to set up and cooking food or simply rewarming meals is a doddle due to the 12 cooking presets: you dial rotate the dial to what preset you require, e.g. to reheat a cup of tea, hit start and away you go. For the more adventurous you can dial in the length of time required, hit start and when your food is cooked the oven will ley you. My wife and I particularly like the easy clean coating on the oven’s interior, which makes keeping this device in tip top condition a breeze. We also like the colour of the oven, which looks very classy indeed. Overall I’m very impressed with the Toshiba 800 w 20 L Microwave Oven and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

(you will need a mat) Ample room for dinner plate, internal easy clean why i bought this model, not disappointed. Stylish look. Microwave’s food perfect and to the second. Easy to use once you followed instruction, (worth holding onto the manual). Only easy when you know how. My first ever microwave was Toshiba, it was very much like this one, it lasted me 20yrs. I actually gave it away still working and in good order. I hope this one will give the same service, why i trust the name of Toshiba and the internal enamel coating. This is a modern style design 800W microwave and looks nice in our kitchen. It comes with a manual of course. The main advantage of it and the main reason I chose it is the ceramic enamel cavity (anti-bacterial) that’s easy to clean. I was fed up with the rusty and scratched surface in my previous one, which eventually resulted in the generation of sparks. In addition, it is a more economic consumption as it is Energy class A (most microwaves are E). It has a variety of cooking presets (12), more than other models, which I haven’t tried yet. It has the 30 sec button but you can set the microwave time starting from 5 seconds. It’s true that you can’t see very clearly the interior when the microwave is running, but I think it’s mostly due to the door colour shade rather than the interior light. But it’s really not a big issue as you’ll still be able to see the plate inside. If it was flatbed, instead of it having a turntable, I would give it 5 stars. Also be aware of the price fluctuations, one day it can be 80 and the next 50 !

It’s a bit more complicated than my old “clockwork” one! But easy to use once you have read the instructions.
I don’t find the numbers, icons and settings etc easy to read with my slightly failing eyesight. They are grey on a black backgound and thin lettering. I’ve had to put a Tippex dot against the (probably) only two settings I’ll use – defrost and full power. The quick 30 sec button is useful. Will probably use that too. Overall, I’m happy with it.
It also arrived within 48 hours – a day ahead of expected delivery.

Condensation is unbelievable door need to stay open all the time when not in use & needs dried out after every use

Choose this one because of the mute function and reviews were pretty good. It’s better than I thought. It’s well made compared to the supermarket budget ones.
Just a little more money spent was worth it. The mute function, child lock is good. Hold the pause button 3 secs to lock. Double tap to mute.

This microwave is amazing. It has a mute function which I searched for ages to find one with. Even opening and closing the door is so quiet. It is easy to use but u do need to read the instructions, once learnt its easy. It looks really nice. It is much better than the morphy richards I bought for the same price. That one now looks and works so cheap in comparison. However….. Be aware…. This Toshiba Microwave comes from abroad. Apparently Toshiba don’t work in UK anymore for microwaves and so when mine turned up without a manual, I couldn’t get anywhere trying to contact them for a new one or even all over the Internet to download one. It was a right palaver. Amazon had to come and collect it and bring me a whole new one just to get me a manual. But amazon did their job well as usual at least. But I do feel a bit worried to a have a microwave from a company who I can’t get hold of.
his is the perfect size for my small kitchen compact but takes a full size dinner plate, it’s quick and easy to use. switch on.. press the left bottom button marked 00 twice to switch of the annoying beep (not obligatory but the reason I chose this model)… turn the bottom knob as many times in multiples of 5 seconds to the required time press bottom right button to start/end I don’t bother with the clock as I turn it off at the plug, if you do turn it on and off the same you need to press the 00 each time to mute it,
the top knob is to change the power/defrost etc read the leaflet one section at a time if it’s new to you, so far so good……….

I bought this microwave to replace my old one because the lining had started to disintegrate. I bought this especially because of the enamel lining in the hope that it lasts longer. It is really smart to look at although the writing on the buttons could be clearer hence the four star rating. Other than I that I’m really happy.
Great, easy to use microwave. The main attraction (other than being black to match the rest of my kitchen ware) is the fact that it’s ceramic inside rather than the usual plastic coatings that others have, so on that, I feel this will last much longer than my previous microwaves! Well done Toshiba
I bought this microwave because the reviews were mostly positive and I liked the looks, the price was also very good and Toshiba are a respected name, it is smaller than my previous model( which for me is a good thing,) and slightly less powerful but to be honest I could not tell the difference but this microwave is a lot quieter and is very simple to operate and the turntable always reverting to its original position is a nice touch, I would highly recommend.
Bought as a gift for ageing parents who secretly believe the only way to cook food is to immolate it in fire (or at least copious amounts of high temperature). Easy to use, with minimal programming and only a couple of ‘buttons’, if my Dad can use it, anyone can. The bonus is, it cooks to perfection from defrost to high heat settings and without fuss, noise and mess and is a bargain cost wise. I highly recommend it for all age groups for these benefits alone and now Mum and Dad don’t have to wait hours to cook their weird olde tyme veggies or to warm their Horlicks up!

Its a microwave nothing more. Its as complicated as you want to make it, the led light is a nice touch no bulbs to replace, you may think that being Toshiba its Japanese, wrong its Chinese but its ok. Weird that every microwave that you buy have exactly the same glass turntable and wheel ring regardless of make.

It’s a nice looking microwave and it does the job, however a few niggles or room for improvement:
It has three metal feet (or protrusions) and a plastic one on the bottom right – not sure why, but it wobbles, with a gap of around 3mm
The buttons are black with white lettering – It would have been better if these were backlit, as it’s difficult to see sometimes.
Apart from that I’m happy, especially with the turntable which returns to the start position, which makes it easier to pick up items with handles.
Received today only.. so review is based on initial use only. Looks very good. Compared to what others have said in review, I found the manual and functional controls easy to understand and very intuitive.. knobs have smooth flow and easy to use.. Added functionality of Timer, mute operations ( to be clear it only mutes the final completion beeps, the normal operating noise of any microwave is still there, but is not very loud).. Looks promising, will update if anything worth updating is encountered in regular usage..

There are a lot of microwaves on the market and its easy to over analyse the endless options.I only needed a fairly small microwave but did want the rotation feature so in the end i went for the established Toshiba name and haven’t been disappointed.
The controls aren’t clear from the first look and I needed the manual with me for the first two uses but i’m not exactly gifted with technology! I can now use it with confidence and it’s certainly served its purpose.
No problem recommending the Toshiba if it fits in with your needs.
Best microwave I have owned
This is the best microwave I have owned in years. It is so very easy to clean with enamel coating. The other thing that was a constant irritation with other models every time you open or close it moved this stays in the same place it is solid. I have also noticed less bits get underneath it. The only negative would be the huge extremely hard to remove sticker on the right hand side. Awful time with that and I feel unnecessary. A side from that I highly recommend this microwave
Really simple to use and it works. Bit unclear whether it is 850 or 800 watts as display only goes up to 800 when changing settings but box said 850.
Settings are really simple but who am I kidding I just press the 30 second button lots of times.

Stylish but the inside could be bigge
It is a good microwave at a reasonable price, although it’s not that wide internally, so struggle to get big plates in and out.

Great product… works well but the only thing is buttons are very hard to see and need a torch to be able to read them… in my case i have just memorised the only buttons i always use but they are pretty invisible

Toshiba is the maker and it says it all. Quality and reliability. Easy to use and fits our purpose-made microwave cabinet in the kitchen suite. Full dinner plate fits nicely inside and low energy friendly. Recommend especially for elderly folks with poor eyesight as it has bright large numbers for cooking times and clock.
This is not a simple microwave.
I like it. But I think itll take alot of getting used to it,as I only wanted a simple microwave but this is a oven to. I’ve used it a good few times today. I’m happy with it. Only issue I have is how rude the delivery guy was,he just shoved this box into me. And I thought he was quite rude!

Well made and easy to use
Well made and easy to clean.
Does the job well and easy to follow the instructions.
Pros:
-mute function (double press the pause button) stops beeping which is painful to my migraines. I bought this specifically for that.
-quiet when running – you could definitely make a midnight snack without waking anyone up! Other microwaves hurt my migraines but I can cope much better with this.
-instruction manual in the pack
Cons:
-difficult to interpret the symbols on the top control dial – you do have to read the manual to get to know it.
-couldn’t find an online version of the manual in English for this exact model (I could find one in Thai, but I can’t translate it). So don’t lose the manual like I nearly did
