I bought this for its A+ energy rating and I’m so glad I did. It’s very smart to look at and, whilst I haven’t used all the settings (popcorn, pizza, beverage) the standard cook and defrost buttons have been easy to use. I recommend!

The only negative thing is – at the end of the cycle, the microwave will beep 5 times loud, no matter which button you press 🙂 But that’s not a major problem for me, so I still give 5 star without any hesitation.
Caution: Don’t drag the oven from its standing position as its legs may become dislodged/damaged. If you want to move, you need to lift it.

Good microwave, frustrating to get stickers off howeve
Microwave is fine and works as intended. Dropped a star because of these stickers they used, these could have been easy peel stickers but clearly this wasn’t thought out. Tried using rubbing alcohol to get the remainder of the sticker off but still no luck. One of these also on the top of the microwave. Very frustrating but doesn’t impact the use of the product, just looks a bit rubbish.

I replaced a Panasonic microwave that failed shortly after its warranty expired.
Toshiba is a very well known quality brand and it was a little larger inside than my Panasonic.

So far, looking good.
Next day delivery, plugged in and started using. Checked all the buttons on the keypad and all working then tried using, heated soup, perfect, cooked a potato, again perfect. Ok it’s still early in use but so far the microwave is functioning perfectly. If anything changes I will update my review

It suits our needs very well.
My primary focus on purchasing a new microwave was it should have better controlling of start and stop buttons, better control on timings, and this one ticked all the boxes.

Read instructions carefully not 24hr clock

I am an elderly widower living alone and wanted a replacement Microwave that was easy to use. This is what I got. I give it 4 stars rather than 5 only because it is rather smaller than I would have preferred, making it difficult to cook more than one dish at a time.

So easy to use. Jacket potato even has a one touch button, no setting of time or temperature. Looks good. easy to keep clean, highly recommend.

One tiny downside, because the top and sides are black, the front appears way way darker than the advertised pictures, but it doesn’t bother me.

You can actually feel the metal flexing if you touch the top of it. It’s just the way things are nowadays with cheap Asian products — cutting corners whenever possible.
You essentially “get what you pay for” i.e. it’s cheap, but not the greatest quality. It wasn’t worth the hassle of returning it due to the casing being bashed, and it does actually work, so I guess I will say it is “recommended”.
EDIT: Having had the microwave for a few months now, another annoying thing is, the clock loses about a minute a week. Does Toshiba not actually test these things?

There was a card included with the literature asking to let them know if there was anything wrong. I used the email address they gave and asked for two replacement feet. They replied by asking for photographs of the feet, inside, outside and back of the microwave, plus photos of the serial number, my purchase and delivery notes, everything except my shoe size and colour of eyes! Their reply was that they couldn’t supply them, but they could replace the microwave after I had returned this one. To return it and them send me a new one (which I told them I didn’t want) would cost ??? to post me a set of new feet – pennies. This is why I have given Toshiba customer service no stars.

Had 2 of these since March. First one was replaced by Amazon after 3 weeks due to it over heating. I am now in contact with Toshiba themselves as the replacement one is now vibrating and overheating.
I bought this as a replacement and it’s is very easy to use, especially if you just need it on full power. Just type the minutes you need and off it goes, click start again to add 30 seconds to the timer. Perfect size for a rice packet to stand up and cook, unlike my last microwave. Good value for money.

Good family capacity
Seems to be a standard microwave and controls same as on other models in this price range for 800w. Cooke efficiently but too soon to assess quality of the enamel inner oven – cheap microwaves seem to deteriorate and rust after a period. Seems good value and has larger capacity so no problems with bigger containers catching on sides during rotation.

Just the right size for my kitchen and it’s attractive and the design is clear to use.
Maybe the ‘Dinner Plate’ stop needs to be careful, as the plates will be too hot unless you stop the operation earlier.

Dinner plate heater. Quick start 30 second timer, and just press again for another 30 seconds. Time defrost & weight defrost. What’s not to like!

Nukes up a tasty storm
After being without a microwave for 4days, I was delighted with the efficiency and quality of my rustler burger. It microwaved it so well, I was almost tempted to have another. The quality and sturdy quality is unparalleled with any other, highly recommended.

Good for the price
Bought this to replace my old microwave, which had died. This is more compact and so far it has worked really well. Seems easy to keep clean. It only has a 12 hour rather than a 24 hour clock format, but this is not really an issue for me. Overall I am very pleased with it.

Turntable trouble
The turntable micro plate is easily disengaged from the from the spindle when putting anything inside the oven and you need to check itt’s engaged – otherwise, cooking on gas!

Toshiba microwave replaced an older Toshiba microwave we had for 37 years. It was showing it age was not cooking properly. The new one is a good size interior and cooks well. The controls are different to what we were used to but we found them easy to adjust to. If it lasts half as long as the previous microwave we will be delighted.

Better than the old white as they usually are. I would recommend this as a nice addition to your kitchen – looks good, and works great. Price is OK too. We wanted a simple microwave for heating or re-heating food. It has a good interior space, nice rapid start buttons (1 minute – 6 minutes in 1 minute increments with one button press) and is easy to clean.

It’s simple with no other functions than microwave. No grill etc. But if you just want a good basic microwave, this is almost perfect. Only minor niggle I have found, is that when using it as a kitchen timer, the order you enter the time digits is not the same as when you enter time for the microwave functions, meaning that time after time, I get it wrong and have to start over.

The device was good value
The only issue was that it came with a two prong plug.
Had to purchase an adaptor.
Otherwise, it was an excellent machine and worked with no problems.

I am enjoying using this microwave. It is quiet, clean and very efficient, and is very easy to operate. The only thing missing, hence the 4 stars not 5, is that I cannot time the start of the cooking, so I have to remember when to go out to the kitchen to start it.

Compact good looking microwave that's works
Size is just right and looks just right in our kitchen, I love the fact you can just select 1 for 1 min 2 for 2mins and so on rarther than spin a knob like my more expensive microwave I had before took ages
The Toshiba 800 w 23 L is a great cooking device with a specification and performance that is great value for money.
The only less than perfect feature is that the power level and timer controls are not so easy to use to select the required combination for a specific use. That said, it looks good, is easily to keep clean and just the right size for family use.

Our old microwave was peeling inside which bothered me to no end. I wanted a replacement microwave and this one had good reviews and it sounded easier to use. Even with instructions our last microwave was far from easy to understand and we used it so basically but it did what we needed so left it. The clock set up on this was amazingly easy. Press clock, press numbers for time, press clock again and voila!!!! The aggravation I went through before this … never again. You don’t need a photo to know what it looks like. The photo on amazon is what you get. The microwave is simply amazing. Thank you.
Our old microwave was peeling inside which bothered me to no end. I wanted a replacement microwave and this one had good reviews and it sounded easier to use.
