Impressive looking & heats up quickly
Tall but not overwhelming my worktop space. Very quick to heat up, set it for a couple of minutes extra on top of cooking time. Good size for family of 4 having a side order of chips- overdid the skinny chips so still sussing it out. Still to use for other food types but so far am impressed. Good alternative/ back up to large oven. Healthier & less messy than deep fryer which I hated cleaning.

    What a great gadget!
We haven’t been very adventurous yet, but have had excellent results with everything we’ve tried cooking in the air fryer. Foods that are designed to be cooked in the oven do very well in there and oven sweet potato fries come out much more crisp than they do when we cook them in our oven. Very impressed so far, but Tower are a little remiss by not giving you a pamphlet of simple recipes to start you off. Forking out another 12.99 for their air fryer recipe book, which is very American in its repertoire with virtually no European style recipes, is an additional expense.

    Fantastic gadge
I’m new to air frying and bought it to cook things without having to heat up a large oven. I didn’t want to pay a lot in case I couldn’t get on with it but I am really impressed with this air fryer. I parboiled potatoes in the microwave for 7 minutes, drained and dried them, added half a desertspoon of olive oil, shook them and put them in the air fryer for 15 minutes at 180, shaking half way through. The roasties were done to perfection. I’ve also made chips from scratch which were great too. Best of all are toasted sandwiches done in there – already a firm favourite! It’s dead easy to clean too.

Wish I'd bought one ages ago...
These have been out for sometime now and I cannot believe it’s taken me so long to invest in one… typical me!! So, once I’d made the decision to buy one I read lots of reviews. This one had a couple of negative reviews about the metal bubbling but overall most reviews were great. So based on size and easy of use I ordered this one. I have used it everyday since it arrived (I have an old gas cooker that I am sure is starting to fail and was considering buying a new electric oven – I won’t be now). I am still experimenting with timings and heat settings but have cooked just about everything in it, including cakes! Ohh jacket potatoes!! If the metal does eventually bubble, so be it… all appliances have their day with daily use and I believe if I’m careful with what oils and washing products I use, I am sure it will last me a good while…

    Absolutely brillia
We bought this as a Christmas present for my son and his girlfriend as they are house hunting. They use it all the time and I have to say it’s brilliant. It cooks practically everything even jacket potatoes. It’s like a small second oven. The food comes our lovely. Highly recommend and likely buy one for us too as it cooks everything so quickly compared to me having to wait for the oven to warm up before I can even start cooking

    It's OK
Due to cooker woes, I had to buy an air fryer and it is something that I will continue to use. This airfryer is fine. Decent sized basket and very easy to use – just knobs to turn rather than complex buttons to press. Whilst it was a bit of a knack, now the basket is very easy to release from the main cooking pot. Downsides are you can’t use it without the basket. And if the food is cooked sooner than expected, it’s not so easy to return the timing knob back to zero.
Also there is a clear plastic cover that fits over the release button for the basket. This came off immediately and won’t stay on at all. It doesn’t seem to matter, but it makes it look a bit tatty.

    Love it...
We absolutely love our air fryer.

After hearing everyone rave about theirs, we wanted to see what all the fuss was about. And I’m so glad we did.

It makes things so easy. It’s easy to clean too.

It makes things so lovely and crispy on the outside yet really juicy/tender on the inside. So far we have tried chicken kievs, fish fingers, onion rings, chicken, scampi, fish.

I also love the fact it doesn’t make your house smell, like a normal fryer would.

    Worth every penny
Waited ages to decide if I really needed an Air fryer. Seems everyone had one but I wasn’t sure what to go for.
Really pleased I went for the 4.3l as it’s big enough for hubby and I. Would advise to get bigger if you have a family.
It’s not just for chips, in such a short time I’ve cooked so much from roast chicken to cheese and ham toasted rolls. Great product and worth every penny.

    Easy to use.
I really liked this air fryer which I only used once and I was very pleased with the result. Unfortunately the little clear push lever on top of the basket broke. I was very surprised at this as I have a smaller Tower which I also really like and decided to go for the bigger one [ don’t we all] which I think is a great buy. Shame the little sliding thingy broke., I had to send it back. I am undecided what to do now as I want to buy a larger one than the one I have.

    Never use your oven again!
Easy to set up, simple heat dial and time dial. That’s all you need. Perfect for little pizzas, pies, chips and I personally find the drainage slots Perfect for roughing up potato edges for a really crispy roast tattie.

Can’t fault this in any way and it’s totally replaced my oven. It’s faster, healthier and the food comes out perfect. 10 out of 10 no question.

    Good buy
I’m a big fan of anything Tower and am overall happy with the workings of this air fryer, however, there are a couple of things are not quite so good. 1) The basket release button on the handle has to be pressed firmly with the thumb and this means no more nice thumb nail of any length. 2) that little plastic cover keeps falling off (pointless) and 3) the handle gets quite hot at the top. As i said i am happy with the cooking results. I think a man must have designed it tho !!!

So I had looked into air fryers for long time I don’t cook much and Live alone but like the idea of eating healthy. My other half got one for Christmas she has the 11.5 lite to rank job. I was going to go for lot smaller one but was advised the small the model less you can cook in it.
Well I got it Thursday 27th Jan I used it three times started with sausages and Chips bought some descent
bagers and cooked them to profection chips could of done wib longer and they were frys. I then has some aldi chunky chips put the A/F on 200x for 25 mins and they came out perfect. I have also done pizza subs could done them for lot less but its learning curve. But I pleased with it. Is Quick and that is great as I can be done and dusted and enjoy the rest of the evening it washes up ok its a breeze to use no buttons just select the temperature which is listed on the top for the food you want to cook set timer it pings when ready but you have listen out for it I normally set my phone at the same time in case I don’t hear it. easy to use easy to clean uses less electric than normal oven only drawback is 4.3 lite is not that big so don’t expect to do chicken in it might be ok for pigeon.

I not used any oil in it yet and am looking forward to trying new things. I don’t cook lot of fryered food anyway. But cooking chicken and Beef easy with less mess is winner to me.

    An absolute game change
Incredible product, I live in a shared student house with 4 others, so can’t always guarantee use of the oven when I want it. Air fryer to the rescue! It cooks everything you want and makes everything very crispy with basically 0 oil. Purchased the family sized version which feels more ideal for one person than the small one person sized version, but I’m fat 🙁

Fed up with deep fat fryers. The mess, the smell, the cleaning, the danger and also having to recycle the oil at our local amenities tip. Was recommended an air fryer by a local chef who used his for everything. Chose this one based on reviews. Wish I’d bought it sooner.
So far made perfect batches of chips, chunky, skinny, skin on and skin off all perfect. Also perfect jacket potatoes and just about anything you would normally bake. Also amazingly even cooked sausages! Two members of the family have also now purchased one. Would highly recommend this product.

Very useful addition to the kitchen.
The product does not actually fry as it uses no oil. It is effectively a fan oven and cooks by circulation of hot air. I have found that food that is made for oven cooking can be cooked at a lower temperature and for a shorter time than suggested for a fan oven. The first few times I stuck with the recommended instructions as to time and temperature but found that the food was overdone and was almost burnt so a little experimenting is required. Very helpful if you have two items which need to be cooked at different temperatures.

    Better than expected
I bought this airfryer at a discount on Amazon Warehouse as, never having used one before, I was concerned it would end up as just another kitchen gadget in the cupboard so didn’t want to commit. However, we have used it several times (including son home from uni) and it has proved easy to use and clean. You will need to move the food half way through or you don’t get an even cook and there is some degree of trial and error, but overall it was definately worth the purchase. Particularly good for fish. Would recommend.

Should definitely have bought one soone
This has proved to be one of the best kitchen appliances that we’ve ever bought. We chose the larger capacity as we’d read that it allows the hot air to circulate better. The Tower fryer gets used several times a week and the food tastes so much better than cooking with a normal fryer or oven. And much quicker too. The internet has lots of recipes to try, but the Tower makes the ‘basics’ taste amazing – chips, breaded chicken and great roast potatoes.

    Fantastic addition to the kitche
We bought this as our kitchen was being replaced. It’s been fantastic. Cooks food superbly. As an example chips are far crispier cooked in this and obviously healthier. I like the fact that this model has simple manual control knobs which make it fool proof to use. It becomes even easier with a few uses as you get a better feel for cooking times. Will continue experimenting with different foods but will definetely continue using even when our new kitchen is up and running!!

    Loving it!
So happy with this. Haven’t experimented too much with different dishes (have ordered the air fryer cook book) but home made chips are really fab with just the smallest amount of oil coating them (2 tablespoons). Basket big so can do enough for 2-3 people. So easy to clean as oil collects under the tray away from food. Whole basket can be washed. Looking forward to using it more.

    Perfect little unit.
Love these things easy to use easy to clean, most of the time a quick wipe with a bit kitchen roll does the job. I would recommend that if you are using frozen chips to clean straight after cooking as whatever they coat the chips in these days seems to leave a film on the airfryer if you leave it to go cold first.

Turn it on set the timer and give it a shake every so often it’s as easy as that.

    Good Buy
I bought this after seeing one in operation and it is so convenient and easy to use, especially for one or two people. It is kept on the kitchen worktop and on hand for use as needed. I have cooked fish, chicken portions, jacket potato, as well as own cooked and frozen chips so far. I also bought the accessories which included 7 inch baking and cake tin, plus 2 racks, which add to the things that can be cooked in the fryer. I am still getting used to using it but now I wouldn’t be without it. I find it faster than my main oven and also need to reduce the temperature sometimes. I am considering buying a bigger one, although we are only 2 people. I am pleased with my purchase and recommend this item. Service very good and no complaints.

I ordered this for my daughter and got it delivered straight to her uni accommodation. It arrived quickly with no issues. Her kitchen only has a tiny combination micro and oven so she’s been really struggling with cooking. This means she now has a larger cooking area and can cook a bigger variety of food quickly and easily. It’s a family sized air fryer so she can cook multiple items at the same time. Easy to operate and clean. She is very happy with i

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy partners wish came through
After a very long negotiation with my partner about eating healthy food, I finally gave in to his wish for buying this air fryer. To my astonishment it really worked out. No more greasy chips or sausages. Even the fish and the drumsticks came out tasting great.
As I do not need any oil in this fryer, the food is much more healthier. And on top of this, I have no smell of hot oil in the kitchen, a smell I despise.
After the cooking, just take the basket out, wash with soapy water and voila you are done cleaning.
I am a vegetarian, but I can really recommend this fryer for people who want to eat a bit healthier.

    Best gadget eve
I put off buying one of these for ages and then found it really difficult to make a choice. Love this though as it is so simple. Two twisty knobs. One for temperature and one for time. One easy clean basket. It’s so simple to use and so far I’ve made chicken breasts, frozen convenience foods, sausages and potato chips. I know there is still more to cook with it. You do have to shake or turn the food part way through but I don’t find that an inconvenience as I’m in the kitchen prepping food anyway. I’d recommend this item for its simplicity.

    Great kitchen tool
I don’t have a lot of spare worktop space and this pulls it’s weight on there. For a portion or two, it’s so much easier, more economical and quicker than putting the oven on and much less work & healthier than frying. Food crisps up nicely and tastes fine. The only real downside has been that after 3 months, the lining has started to flake off. I’d want this to last at least a year before I need to replace it. Minor negative point – the back vent gets hot so you may need to swivel the machine away from cupboards & power points etc. If you’re living on your own/coupled up, this & a microwave, toaster, kettle & a George Foreman could be all you need.

Update: 4 months after purchase, the timer knob came off – broken inside. I contacted Amazon and they arranged for a replacement and return of the fryer the next day. Amazing service.

Never had one, now couldn't live without it.
First time using an air fryer and shocked at how well this cooks food.

Things like chips are done in 20 mins and taste much better than the oven. We use it most days and find we couldn’t go without one now.

Issues we have is when filling it too much it only cooks the top of the container but think thats due to poor circulation. Open it up and shake/mix them around every ten mins and this issue is gone.

    Perfec
Bought this on a flash sale and have been using it for months now. For all those people who said, it bubbles up/rusty/etc poor quality after a few uses, you know you need to wash it? Just because you don’t have to use oil, that doesn’t mean it won’t get greasy and sticky because of everything you put in it? I use it 2-4 times a week, and wash the basket and the bottom every few uses. Even if the basket looks clean, I guarantee the bottom will have some buildup, so for the love of god, look after it instead of rating it 1 star.

Fries the perfect fries, i use it for chicken, pork, Burger meat, fish, chips, cheese on bread, reheating food. Its literally my baker and fryer at the same time. Extremely easy to use, Its so easy to take out and clean and install the tray back for use. It’s the just the perfect product for healthier meals and quick frying. The different tempeture settings are my favourite thing on there apart from its luxurious look. I love everything about this product and I would buy it again. It would be the perfect gift for the friend who likes to cook and especially those who don’t. I love it, like every bit of it.

I absolutely love my air frye
It cooks oven food so much quicker, you don’t have to wait around for the oven to heat up for 10 minutes and then wait around for your food to cook. Food cooks so much quicker, it’s so much tastier and chips and coated chicken is so much crispier and nicer it’s just like getting a takeaway. Saves me so much time and effort using this. I have had no issues with it and I have had it 3 months I pull it away from the wall when using it as it does heat up and leave it until it’s cooled down then put it back where it was on my work surface. It doesn’t take up too much room and sits perfectly on my work top.

    Tower Air Fryer...Amazing!
I wanted to buy a Air Fryer but there is so many to choose from and I did not want to spend a lot of money. I saw the Tower and read the reviews as I always do and found a lot of negative as well as the positive. So I decided I would purchase this one as you can search for ages and end up ordering none.
The first fryer arrived broken which disappointed me but when I contacted the seller, a replacement soon followed with an apology.
The Air Fryer is excellent and I love it and there is no messy oil to clean up after use and cleaned in seconds and it looks good in my kitchen.
It was one of the less expensive models and worth ever penny and I would highly recommend.
By the way the cooking results are amazing!

Wanted to try out a air fryer didn’t want to spend the earth. This is very easy to use and makes the best non deep fryer chips available. Makes great chicken breasts in under 15 mins, all with very little oil. Thing is easy to use, like a old microwave with the ding and twist timer. Probably will not take much abuse but as I didn’t spend the earth on it as it was on on offer then it is all good

With all due respect to other big leading manufactures, Tower competes without fault.
This is my upgrade as my other Tower Air fryer had lasted almost 5 yrs and was worth every penny. This model in the rose gold tint looks really nice next to the matching toaster!

It’s as efficient as my oldun’…. Cleans like a dream and cooks everything I need.

In fact, I rarely use an oven anymore.

Sausages, fish fingers, chips, chops…. The list goes on…. Perfectly cooking everytime.

I’ve actually written this because i am, extremely happy that in the few yrs since my initial fryers’ purchase, I had read some other reviews and was a little perturbed by some of the contents, but like all things, sometimes you get a faulty item and sometimes you don’t…. I’ve had my fair share but this is simply outstanding.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFantastic Air Fryer.
This is fantastic for frying chips (i’ve not really used it for anything else yet), though you need to toss the chips and make sre they are well oiled before frying them in the fryer, and make sure you toss them once or twice during the frying process to get an even cooking, but i love this fryer, it’s easy to use and clean, and i do recommend you clean the basket and tray with the soft side of a sponge, water and washing up liquid after each use, which is fortunately easy to do. I also founf it useful to get a spray bottle for spraying the oil onto the chips.

As for the cooking, you d get a nice golden and chrispy cooking, but like i say, toss the chips once or twice during cooking for an even cooking. I have found that it cooks chips a lot quicker than it sugggests in the instructions and on the cooker itself. It said about 20 minutes, but i find it cooks them very well in less than 10 minutes, something to me mindful of.

Larger capacity for the same price
Not much wider basket but the extra depth adds to its theoretical capacity but in real terms I can’t see much additional usable capacity except for some very rare deep items. I would certainly prefer bigger size dials for the timer and temperature for ease of use and reading not to mention ergonomics! One facility is missing from all fryers I know is a facility to zero the time in the event one has over dialed cocking time! For larger families I’ve seen a double basket fryer to cook 2 items simultaneously, chips in one and sausages in the other!

I bought this mainly because I have a combined kitchen/dining room/living room and cooking makes my whole flat smell. I haven’t been disappointed! I can cook meat and there is hardly any smell at all. Things like fish fingers and potato waffles come out perfectly and seem to taste better than when I cook them in the oven and they take a fraction of the time. I bought the cheapest chips from Tesco the other day and my daughter said that they were as good as from the Chippy!

Cleaning is really quick and easy. Just dip the basket and drawer in hot soapy water and give them a quick wipe with a sponge and everything comes off.

The only thing that I don’t like about it is the mechanical timer. If you turn it too far I don’t think you can turn it back. You might be able to but I didn’t want to force it and break it. What I do it turn it on to about 20 minutes and then just get my Google home to set the timers I want. For example I might do a three minute warm up, then 5 minutes, then another 5 minutes. As long as the timer is set for more than the time you want then it keeps working. I bought this before I got my Google home stuff. I think if I bought one now I would have a WiFi one as I am enjoying all the voice commands lol.

Overall this is a brilliant product and I am very happy with it. I can’t believe how quick it cooks and how good the food tastes. I highly recommend this air fryer.

Edit: I eventually built up the courage to turn the timer back when I had gone too far and I found out that it is possible so I take back that criticism

    So glad I bought this
I was sceptical that this would be another kitchen gadget I didn’t need but I’d read and heard such good things that I decided to go for it. And I’m glad I did. I use it daily!

I am vegetarian so my tests so far haven’t included any meat or fish, but for cooking vegetables it’s perfect. No more oily, mushy courgettes, or watery mushrooms. Aubergines work perfectly without needing to be drowned in oil. Whole aubergines can be roasted easily. Roasting tomatoes is great.

For my family, cooking oven chips in our air fryer is now our preferred way to cook them – in just 20 mins thick oven chips are perfectly cooked and better than from the oven. Plus so much less time and heat required.

AND great for making pita breads!

Best for me is that it’s all so tidy. No messy pans. No excess oil. Easy to clean and pack away for next time.

Very good value & cooks well!
Never tasted such succulent chicken pieces! Juicy and tender far better than grilling which was my main cooking method until now.
Oil-free chips will take a while to get used to but sooo delicious!

4.3l capacity is enough for me using a separator with 6″ pizza perforated stainless steel disk (look on Amazon) on top eg chicken thighs in the separator st the bottom & chips sitting above on the disk… I found that 15 minutes on 200c does both nicely.

Be careful placing greasy fingers on the silver-toned area – clean asap or it might stain!

Suggested timings & temperature are very good – after a few tries I have very slightly adjusted the time just like any cooking.

    Would definitely recommend!

    Will mine be OK?
I am giving it 4 stars tentatively for the reasons below.
The Tower T17021 arrived very quickly but I noticed immediately that the seal on the box had come undone. Had it just come unstuck in the hot weather or had someone peeled up the bottom half to have a look inside . . . ? Is it a “returned” item?
On examination I noticed that the handle was attached to the basket with 2 rivets which were not completely tight allowing a little play. I don’t know whether this is poor workmanship or a design feature?
Anyway, I suppose time will tell.

I have cooked in the air fryer:
    crinkle cut chips
sweet potato instead of baked in the oven
lamb in rosemary and garlic seasoning
    a quarter pounder
    frozen samosas
The frozen samosas needed more fry light oil to be sprayed on them. Will remember for next time. Everything else turned out well.
You can separate the basket from the pan that catches the oil and wash them individually

I’ve only used it a few times so far but, after a little practice, it does make lovely homemade soft but crispy chips. Use a little oil and seasoning and don’t forget to shake the basket a couple of times part way through cooking. I have also done some chicken breast, chopped into small pieces, again with a little olive oil and seasoning – very nice! It also does very nice crispy bacon. It seems quite easy to clean so far but time will tell I guess – just don’t use abrasives! I got it at the discounted price so overall very happy so far.

    Great introduction to air frying
I like that the cost is low. As my first air fryer, I didn’t want to spend too much money in case I wasn’t going to use it much.
I like that it is easy to use – It has a simple clockwork timer which is adequate, I don’t need a computer in my air fryer.
I do have one grumble however – The basket is difficult to re-insert, it needs to be gently coaxed back into place in order to align the safety switch. (see photo)

    Impressed ☺️
Impressed with my air fryer, doesn’t take any oil which I thought it would. Found it actually didn’t cook chips very well, unless their big as the small ones seem to burn before the larger ones have cooked. Not tried lots in it yet but cooked really well – potato wedges, potato waffles, nuggets, fish fingers etc. All these where cooked within 10 minutes of popping them in. Instantly heats up. Find it cooks quicker than the times stated. All over recommended it. Healthier than my fat fryer! 🙂

Used it twice so far. Once for frozen chips, chucked them in on 200c and 10 min later done. Wow.

Chicken thighs with the bones. Covered in spice 20min layer perfectly cooked. Juicy and crisptly amazing.

Easy to clean too. Have seen so many things to cook in it.

Good value and size for the price.
This air fryer is a great product for a great price. I’ve had a few air fryers and this one seems no different from my most expensive one. It’s wether it lasts as long which I have no way of telling but so far so good. I am more than happy with my purchase so far and I’ve used it for a couple of months. It is easy to clean and to use but dont over do your frozen chips or they turn out dry I would reccomend doing them for about four minutes less than advised about 15 mins. The food turns out just as yummy as other traditionally cooked food but one thing that was not successful were the sausages which came out tough maybe again I should have cooked them for less time. Hope that this is helpful.

I use it every day and I can not be happier. I do almost anything: breaded food, roast food, re-heat food, etc. chips are fabulous, taste and look the same as frying french fries but with only a drop of oil. You have to prepare food in a bowl with salt, pepper and other herbs or whatever you like, and a teaspoon of oil, stir well the whole thing and then pour in the air drier for 10 minutes at high temperature, then stir again and another 10 minutes, and voila! crispy, golden and delicious. A must in every kitchen and the price is great! Recommend 1000000% Very easy to clean as well. Only be careful with the plastic outside after cooking it gets quite hot.

This is excellent for one or two people and is big enough to bake a cake in . I’m doing new things all the time in it and have had no disappointments at all .Its easy to check on progress ,literally pull the drawer out quick look and back in .It does amazing wedges and jackets , crisps everything really well .Its easy to clean and the timer is really useful and it just keeps the food warm for a while at end of timing which is really useful . I really researched hard before I bought this model and am really happy with it , excellent value as well. Probably not big enough for large family meals , but just right for one or two .Controls really easy to use . Very pleased .

    Great for quick tasty meals
I have 2 of these now as I use them both instead of putting the oven on. Food such as frozen chips and frozen roast potatoes taste so much nicer in the Tower than in the oven. The temp control allows you to cook a whole range of different foods frozen and raw such as sausages, chicken breasts, legs and wings in less time than it takes to wait for the oven to heat up and costs less in electricity too. Couldn’t be without my 2.

So easy to use and great for a quick meal for two. Works very well for chips, roast potatoes and frozen fish.
I’ve roasted a small joint of beef and small chickens very successfully and quickly. I prefer my halogen oven for roasts as I can watch the colour of the meat’s surface as it cooks.
It’s easy to clean and quiet in use.
I’d have given 5 stars for everything but if you’re cooking for a long time be aware that the surface below, behind and above the air fryer gets quite warm. Easily cured by sitting it on a ceramic tile away from the walls.

    Great Buy
A very easy to use, smart looking, air fryer. At last I have cooked the perfect steak, hallelujah!! Make your own flavoured chips – no problem. Comes with instructions with a couple of recepie ideas and a temperature/time guide for various items. You can pull out the tray while cooking to shake the chips or prod and turn the meat very easily then shove it back in to continue. Just like a microwave it pings when cooking is complete. Simple.

This... is now my number 1 cooking tool
I’ve heard people tell me to get an air fryer for ages.

“put chips in it” put anything it it.

Let me tell you right now, they were RIGHT. Soggy chip shop chips which have gone cold? bring them back to life without using a litre of cooking oil. I’ve cooked chicken and lamb from scratch and they have turned out brilliant.

    burgers and everything.

The best thing about it is that it is also much faster than a conventional oven. Honestly you cant go wrong here guys. My only nitpick is that I wish there was a way to see the food inside whilst its cooking, also some times you have to pull out the tray and shake the food around alittle to make sure it cooks evenly.

Amazing! After 2 Tefal Actifrys with broken handles..
Have had 2 of the large Actifrys and both had the handles come loose, and Tefal were not helpful after warranty ran out. Fair enough we use an air fryer every day but even so. Last week the second one went again, after me trying to replace the handle screws and when that failed, tried glueing it. Added to the fact that food like chips kept getting stuck under the paddle, and the fact that the Actifry is 4 times the price, decided to go for this Tower one.

I am a convert, it is outstanding. Food is moister and not all dried up, it cooks faster so more eco on energy and saves time, and its so easy to use. Don’t let the having to shake it put you off, its no more time intensive the lifting the lid of the Actifry and checking on the food, takes literally 4 seconds. Washing up is easy and the non stick really is non stick.

Anyone reading trying to decide between the Actifry and this, its a no brainer, go for the Tower.

Wished i had bought one sooner air fryer is so versatile. Two things to consider if you are buying an air fryer, (1) If i was buying again i would get one with a digital timer, manual timer is fine for longer cooking times but not if you want 3 or 4 mins.
    (2) This has a 4.2 litre capacity which is minimum size i would get even for a single person.

    Good addition to any kitche
It’s a good addition to your kitchen – basically anything that you use to grill or fry before can go in this so no more smells. Also it goes well with frozen stuff – fish and wedges and sweet potatoes and French fries etc. However, if I was to choose again, maybe I’d go for a digital one. The reason is – you cannot control the temperature too well; second thing – you cannot change the timer: once you’ve started it, that’s it. So it’ll take some trial and error until you get your food cooked the way you like it.

I had wanted an air fryer for the longest time but have recently purchased the Tower rose gold and black saucepan set and the last casserole pan and large frying pan. Once I saw this, in the same colour way, it was a no brainer so bought it. It has changed the way I cook. Its so simple to use and cleaning is kept to a minimum. Its fast and cooks to perfection. Very very happy with it and the colour is stunning.

    Works Well on the Whole
Works very well for well spaced items but needs at least a couple of shakes if the basket is full of food like oven chips or wedges. The French fries worked the best and were much crispier than when done in a normal oven. The coating at the bottom of the pan seemed to be flaking off after less than a month of use and once you set the timer you can’t cancel it. Overall a good product for the price I paid.

    Air Frying tonight!
Ok my first air fryer. There’s a heating element in the top, just like a small oven and a fan that circulates the air. You can alter the temperature and it has a timer to auto-cut off (this isn’t a turn on and forget method of cooking however….you need to be on hand to stir and toss the food). It’s essentially a small fan assisted oven. If there are only one or two of you, and you like to cook chips, chicken thighs/legs, sausages, bacon etc then it makes total sense to use a small oven rather than have your main oven on for just a handful of chips. The airfryer cooks a lot quicker than you might expect. Bacon was superb in about 6 mintues. Can’t were excellent. The oven cuts off when you open the door and re-starts when you close it…which you will do a lot to toss/turn the chips/meat etc which has to be done to achieve equal browning. It’s very easy to brown the food before it is thoroughly cooked so be prepared for trial and error to achieve perfect results…all I’ll say is, it is totally addictive…because it cooks so fast…and the food that comes out is totally devoid of grease…and the flavour is superb. You’ll need to buy an oil spray to spray home-made chips and veg if you want crispy. Bacon and fatty food can go in and cook in their own fat…they come out dry as the fat drips down onto the tray that holds the basket. It’s fab!! If you are a student or a single person or couple…this is a godsend! You can cook beautiful food in it, fresh salmon, chicken thighs, chops, vegetables, croissants, fish, sausages, beef…and it tastes really intense because no taste is lost.

I got this at a reduced price as it was cosmetically damaged at the top according to the description. The damage was actually a deep crack which i would argue is maybe more than cosmetic but it seems to be working fine so far so I’m happy with it for the price I paid. I wouldn’t look to spend a lot on any airfryer to be honest as all they are is basically a box with a heating element and fan at the top.

Where could I start? Well it’s an amazing concept and design. Amazing product all-round. Very portable and extremely efficient.

    Pros:
    – Way healthier alternative to deep frying
    – Cost efficient (saves money on oil)
    – Defrosting is not required it’s part of the process
    – Faster than my oven or frying pan
    – Portable (literally used on my table or anywhere around my house now lol)
    – Produces a nice smell of the food cooking
    – Extremely easy to wash
    – Heats up very fast to give you 100% efficiency
    – Extremely spacious can cook for an entire family

    Cons:
    – Can get very hot which is dangerous around kids (If you have children I’d say put it somewhere they can’t reach)
    – Timer can’t be turned off, you have to wait till it reaches 0. Dont force turn it or it will break
    – Button gets warmed when trying to release which is slightly difficult to remove food from.

Overall I’d say buy it. If not this size, buy the smaller one. This is honestly an investment and my family were uncomfortable at first but now we all love this product.

    Amazing and worth its price

    A good little air frye
I had an air fryer before with touch control buttons but the basket was difficult to clean. I bought this as a replacement and it’s ok. It does cook things ok but you have to watch everything as it seems to cook things quicker and you have to keep taking the basket out and shaking it as things seem to burn a bit. I like the basket. It’s more like a non stick coating and washes up quite well after use. It’s very basic but it will do. I prefer the touch control option rather than the dials. I would certainly run it on a lower head than suggested to prevent burning and keep checking and turning things.

By far the most used kitchen gadget we’ve ever bought 🙂
Timer on ours is faulty and runs double time but we just set a timer on a phone/google nest etc instead. No instructions in the box either which would have been nice with regards cooking times etc. having said that there is more info and recipes online than you could ever care to make!
It’s easy to clean with the draw and pan coming apart, theres no bit of it you can’t get to. It’s a bit bulky on the counter top but would easily fit in the cupboard if it wasn’t used so often.

I bought this as due to lockdown and Uk weather makes impossible for a lot middle aged people to do excercise. Healthy food is one of the best alternate, this air fryer is best alternate.

I am using this for quite few months and it’s very easy to use and if you are cooking something you can take aur fryer out to check check food if it is cooked or not and once you put back in it starts itself without pressing buttons.

Flavoured is quite good for few products eg fish, chicken and for frozen vegan foods. But not impressed with flavoured of chips if you do air fryer, fries lost the taste and same with broccoli .

Not very easy to clean as you have to mess about little bit at start to get each unit separate to wash.

I’ve only had it a few days and used it a few times, but so far I’m very pleased with it.

The cooking time for chunky chips, frozen roasties and sausage rolls was more than halved. Quite amazing how quickly it was able to cook these foods.

I found it easy to remove the inner basket for it to be cleaned – only after it cools down because it does get very hot. There are vents are the back. The largest in the middle emits hot air and at a short distance, so be aware of that and of anything that may be behind the fryer when it’s in use.

The size of it is big… bigger than it appears in the photos! To me, anyway. And it’s a little bit heavy. So it would be best to leave it out on a kitchen unit (which is what I’ll be doing).

It is simple to use and understand, you set the temperature and timer and off it goes. The manual is very detailed and offers cooking advice, so take 10 minutes or so to read it because the results will be worth it.

I’ve used it more times since my original review. I’ve easily cooked two chicken breasts and frozen sausages in it. As before, the cooking time is remarkable but taste and texture isn’t compromised. And now given five stars, instead of four.

I purchased the airfryer pretty much on a whim and I’m very glad I did. It is much, much more useful than I thought it would be. I tried all the usual suspects (scampi, fish, chips, bacon, sausage, felafel, patties/rissoles etc) and all good, easy to make and flavoursome, minimal mess. It’s also great for turning pulses + spices into appetizing healthy snacks. I even tried it on the ultimate challenge – tofu! – and whilst the result wasn’t exactly what I would call super yummy, it’s a lot closer to it than I have ever managed before, and that’s with years of trying in a multitude of ways. I’m going to try baked apples next and a variety of vegetable crisp thingies. Onward and upward!

This is a decent size for a family. Happy with chips, chicken fry and other items. I also have a compact 2.2L version of Tower air fryer. First, I thought that the 4.3L would be much bigger. However, because of detachable frying bowl and container, the effective volume is smaller. I also do not like the idea that the frying bowl can be separated from the container.

I have always wanted to own an airfryer, but I couldn’t afford an expensive one. This was on offer at Amazon at a price which was affordable.
Some of the reviews state that this is not as good as the more expensive brands of Airfryer, but as I have not used them, I have no experience of whether they are better or not.
I am extremely pleased with this airfryer. It is easy to use, I was able to plug it in and use it almost immediately after cleaning the basket. It is easy to clean, although I recommend cleaning it soon after use, to stop the grease from drying on it. It can’t be put in the dishwasher, or washed with abrasive sponges. It is easy to wipe off though.
So far I have cooked chicken breasts, it fits 3-4 chicken breasts in the basket, they came out nice and tender without drying out. I used dry rubs to flavour them, as you can’t use very liquid marinades in it.
I have cooked both frozen and homemade chips in it, with good results. I have found that if you put too many chips in the basket then you need to shake or turn them over so that you get even cooking. The alternative is cooking them in smaller batches. Chips take roughly 18-20 minutes, about the same time as oven chips, but the result is much better.
I’ve also cooked homemade onion bhaji and homemade croutons. They were both very good.
There are lots of recipes online, and Amazon also sell recipe books for this exact model of airfryer. There are guidelines in the instruction booklet of recommend cooking times and temperatures.
I am very pleased that I purchased this, I have already used it a lot and I plan to make other recipes. I recommend buying this airfryer.

Bought this after doing a lot of comparing with others and thought I’d plump on this model. Easy to set up, and just used for the first time and the results were fabulous!
Have some new potatoes that needed using up and made little wedges with them.
I made my own liner with parchment paper with hole around with a hole punch to help circulate the hot air. And used a few sprays of low cal cooking spray. They are so tasty and was ready in 15 mins (I preheated first for a few mins).
I also tried it with banana coated VERY lightly with honey, and the result was glorious. Had it with low fat Greek yoghurt. I have also tried a Pinch of Nom recipe for crispy shredded beef (the picture doesn’t do it justice) and came out so much better than oven baked.
Easy to clean after it has cooled down. This has already become a kitchen staple for sure!

    Really pleasantly surprised.
I bought this on offer for about 30 and wasn’t expecting much, but it really is a handy little cooker (not very energy efficient, but that’s just how it works).

I tried a few different temperatures, but the ones it recommends are a bit off. I’ve basically put it on 170C and left it there.

Really easy to use, just turn the timer and slot the basket back into place. I’ve not burned myself, it turns itself off (especially handy if you’re in the middle of a game and don’t want to come back downstairs to turn your oven off), and it comes apart enough to be cleaned with as much effort as the plate you ate your meal off.

I was going to buy a Philips one for about three times as much, but owning this I see no reason to even consider upgrading. It does everything I want it to do (mostly frozen chicken goujons and sweet potato fries) and doesn’t even take up that much space in the kitchen.

Absolutely love this product. Was bought for me as a gift and I now use it several times a week. Instructions were included in the box but weren’t required as it is so simple to use. Set your time, set your temperature, fill up the frying compartment, as simple as that.
One button releases the frying compartment for cooking aswell as cleaning.
The only thing that takes a bit of getting used to is how long your food will take to cook. I have found that the cooking time on the back of your food is different to the time the food actually takes to cook In the fryer as the fryer can usually cook it in half the
time stated on the food packaging. This isn’t a real problem as you can check the frying compartment with one button at any time without it affecting your food. For people who cook from scratch this isn’t really going to revolutionise your life but for handy, healthier cooking in a quick time this is a great product. I don’t work for the company or usually write review but I liked this alo

Had a Tefal actifry for 7 year’s. Wasn’t willing to pay the extortionate price for a new Tefal. Bought this on a deal for 30, and it’s a far better machine. Less cooking time a lot less oil, great tasting chips. Also excellent for fish, much more versatile without the paddle. Buy one you’ll be happy you did.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersSimple to use and very effective
I have been holding back on buying an air fryer for some time as I (incorrectly) drew a comparison between a deep fat fryer and an air fryer. I bit the bullet and bought this as the deal of the day. My other half initially gasped when it arrived, drawing the same comparison that I initially drew. Let me just say there is no comparison, no oil, no toxic smell. I have used this for a few days, cooked chips, onion rings, chicken goujons etc., hardly any noticeable smell, content well cooked. In fairness, this is simple to use, choose your temperature (and there’s a guide on the fryer itself for this), choose your time (and there’s a guide on the fryer for this) and wait. You may want to give the content a shake halfway through. This product has made my life a lot easier.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersEvery day becomes fry day
I’ve used this on a number of occasions since purchase, and, apart from my first couple of attempts when I overfilled it, I’ve had really good results. I’ve even added herbs and spices to base potato dishes and the kids have loved them. In fact, they prefer it when I use the air fryer over other methods. I’ve read other reviews where people have had heat issues and yes, it does get a little warm, but common sense shows to not put it right next to a wall or socket.

I managed to get this on offer so I had great value for money, but in all honesty, as much as I am a fan of this fryer, if it was full price I probably would have looked at other options.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersA bit Bulky
I have wanted ne of these for a while so when this price dropped I snapped it up.
Its a great bit of kit easy to use and very easy to clean,
so far I have made beer battered fish which was really tasty, and a lot healthier than deep frying
chips come out great I have used fat oven chips and fries and they come out great so long as you shake them in between cooking, I have also done my own chips from potatoes and they were the best.
I have got a few recipe books to try which I a looking forward to.
The basket is large enough for a family of 4

    good value
Overall very happy with this, just a small cosmetic problem for which I was initially going to return it but changed my mind. Despite only cleaning with washing up liquid and dishcloth a mall portion of the non stick coating has come off in the bottom waste basket, this will not affect the cooking but I presume that the problem will get worse and make it harder to clean. On the plus side it makes lovely chips with no mess and no grease, also very good for finishing off crackling and any fish in batter that has already been fried, it eliminates most of the grease. Would buy agai

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersExcellent, if you dont have 1 get 1.
We had the baby size version of this and found we were using ot more and more, for variety of food. This larger version is even easier to use and easier to clean. I did read reviews, and time will tell how long it lasts but its same as non stick frying pan, do not use metal utensils to place or remove your food.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersImpressive!
My only specification was that it could feed a family (4-5 max). It’s very easy to clean & operate. I researched tips & tutorials prior to purchase which helped me understand it’s appeal. Less pots & pans to clean which is a bonus. Managed to cook a small chicken ( turned halfway through cooking process). Sweet potatoe fries (shop bought) turned out better than they’ve done in conventional oven. Yet to try frozen foods – but you get my drift “it’s the bee’s knee’s”. Similar to a conventional oven you can check cooking progress whilst timers are set. I’m gonna try more recipes & utilise this gadget loads as my kitchen is rather ‘small’. This purchase is worth it, at a great price
    – little over 30 ( after xmas deal).

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersAmazingly easy to use
Absolutely love this. I’ve only used my oven once since I bought it (an that was only to cook pizza). No more Wasting energy and putting the whole oven on for One item. No more frying on the hob and fat spitting everywhere. No more smells right through the house because you cooked steak. Food is so much better meat doesn’t shrink. I use little or no fat (fry light spray when I do) chips are amazing.
If your hesitant about buying one then I highly recommend you do. Makes my life so much easie

Bought a small one first to give it a try. Was so happy with it that I bought a week later the big one. Bought an other one for my son cause he was also very enthusiastic about this fryer. Easy to use. Now disappointed. My basket got all rust in it….

Golden Review Award: 124 From Our UsersLove my Tower air frye
I love my Tower air fryer. I have two one for my caravan and one for my home. I’ve bought them in various sizes for gifts and would recommend buying as large a model as possible.
I can honestly say that I use mine most days from heating croissants in the morning to whole fish etc at night. I would recommend to anyone to buy one. They’re the healthy option to frying and much more tasty than oven chips etc.

Excellent! Was sick of my greasy chip pan, so bought this, threw away my chip pan. Cooked frozen chips with no oil, perfect. Cooked breaded chicken, was also perfectly cooked. No smell, or messy oil to change.
    Just FANTASTIC!

Great healthy alternative and doesn’t stink out your kitchen, I’ve marked it down on value because I found it nearly half the price at a high street store but that was my own fault for not shopping around.

I absolutely love this! So far I have cooked sausages, pork chops, chips, chicken wings, lamb kebabs, and chicken strips in this and all came out perfect! I also love than you can use it to heat croissants and rolls, pasties and sausage rolls….it saves me from having to preheat my oven and waste energy cooking small amounts. I would definitely recommend this .
