Heavy, but not a bad saw at all
Pros..Price..Great stable base, Lovley rafter hook, like the ability to be able to adjust the cut line marker, Feels tough..
Cons.. Laser keeps turning on ad off by itself, The button sometimes works somtimes not..
Heavy.. Its durable buy a very heavy saw..
Unfortunately all this is let down somewhat by trend battery avalibility here in Ireland, If I can find them there too overpriced..Amazon wont ship them, but im certianly not paying double what they sell for..
Shame.. Nice tools, let down by the battery situation..
It’s Good for the Money
Surprisingly not too much vibration not very good at lower speed battery life was good 4.0AH slimline battery used. Managed to get a good finish on my coffee table too finishing with hand sanding with the grain.
Great value
If you already own trend batteries this is an absolute no brainer. Probably aimed more at the occasional user or for lighter use but does come with a professional extended warranty.
The sander is really good and a very good price for a cordless sander and the batteries they use are very reasonably priced, the only problem i had is the on/off switch broke on 2 of these sanders and made it useless, can’t fault Amazon though as they replaced the item with no issues and also spoke to Trend about the issue and they were very helpful and would have replaced the item if Amazon hadn’t, 3rd time luck now with the latest sander sent to me so far so good
Love Trend Tools
I love Trend Tools. I have several mains
powered ones and some hand tools. But now I am starting to build an 18v system as well. The charger is an essential to this. Like all Trend Tools this is well built and looks like it is made to last.

Jeez this thing is bright! Really useful, particularly if you already have Trend 18v batteries and you can pick it up for a few quid. I’m really impressed with the value for money.
For the money this thing is unreal. Just as good if not better than my 130 body only dewalt sander! Comes with 3 sanding pads in the box and replacement trend pads are cheap as chips.

Good quality cordless jointer, good amount of adjustment depth of cut etc. Supplied in blow moulded case with battery tools and charge
Used this on a couple of jobs so far and it has performed very well indeed. Plenty of power, not too heavy to handle and makes nice cuts. I didn’t think I would have much use for the laser guide but it has proved very useful when running up a board. The blade also brakes immediately when you take the power off which is a good safety feature when setting the saw down. Can’t fault it. I have used Makita cordless circular saws in the past and in my view this saw is quite comparible.
