Gravity fed hot water system
This system has a cold water tank in the loft or in the top of the airing cupboard and a hot water cylinder below it. The water in the cylinder is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater and fed to taps via a pipe from the top of the cylinder. As the hot water in the cylinder is used up, it is replaced with cold water from the tank above, which in turn is refilled from the mains water supply via a float operated valve. System water pressure is usually low. To give a higher pressure and flow rate from a mixer shower a booster pump can be installed.
Gravity fed hot water system with Booster Pump
This system has a cold water tank in the loft or in the top of the airing cupboard and a hot water cylinder below it. The water in the cylinder is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater and fed to taps via a pipe from the top of the cylinder. As the hot water in the cylinder is used up, it is replaced with cold water from the tank above, which in turn is refilled from the mains water supply via a float operated valve. System water pressure is increased due to the addition of a Booster Pump.
Unvented System
An unvented system has a hot water cylinder that is connected directly to the mains cold water supply and there is no need for a cold water tank in the home. The water is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater. As everything is under the pressure of mains water, the flow rates from taps and showers are much better and a pump is not needed to get a powerful shower. An unvented cylinder can be installed virtually anywhere e.g. in an airing cupboard or garage.
Combination Boiler
A combi – boiler can be located anywhere within the home. More often wall mounted but some are floor mounted. It heats water ‘on demand’ when a hot tap or mixer shower is turned on. Connected directly to the mains cold water supply at high pressure there is no need for a hot water cylinder, cold water tank or shower pump in the home.

What a bargain!
Very happy with my new shower, smart looking and a great price. 2 years guarantee. I had it fitted by a qualified Plumber so I cannot comment on how easy or not, it was to fit or the instructions.
This budget shower replaced an Aqualisa shower costing three times as much. The Aqualisa failed on three separate occasions. For the costs involved to replace just the front of the Aqualisa unit you can buy 3 Triton units. The Triton is guaranteed for 3 years and has operated faultlessly since installation.
No brainer, really.
The Triton won’t win any beauty contests but who cares about cosmetics?

Was, and is, exactly what we needed for the electrical wiring we had / have at home. And the water gets hot enough al low power, and very good at high power (in winter)!

Good spec at a good price. Bought 3 for squash clubo, got them fitted with no problems, and looks good. Should be more economic than heating whole cylinder just for member’s showers. Looks good.
Simplicity in it’s desig
Had to replace an expensive Mira shower that we had for 10 years. The Mira use to have to be reset on a regular basis so went for the Triton. No fancy electronics in there so i turn it on and works. Would of been an easy install but the pipes for the old shower needed cutting etc so got a friend in to do it. Had it all installed in 30 minutes. So far really pleased with it. The hardest part is trying to get out of the shower as i could stay there all day.
You can't really go wrong at this price
Great little shower. Very easy to replace our old Triton shower with this one, took me about 20 mins and as it has loads of cable & water input options it needed no pipework or cabling adjusting other than drilling a couple of new fixing holes in the wall.
I have owned a few Triton showers over the years and I never really go for an expensive model as these budget versions do everything I need.
A great option if you have rented accommodation or need to fit several showers in flats, etc

Triton tried and tested
Was a straight swap for the unit i was replacing, so fitting was a doddle- about 39 minutes to remove one shower and fit the new one. Works perfectly and although a whole kw more than the previous, only ran it on max for testing – was scalding hot. An excellent buy for the money.

I bought this one to replace my old Triton shower after many years of service, it is very easy to fit all the connections being very similar.
Very happy with this shower installation was very fast and it was an excellent price!
Extremely happy might be using more energy but for the comfort of having a reliable electric shower is priceless!

I have a rented flat and it’s on the ground floor so the hot water tank (which is gravity pressure) was never giving a good mix of hot and cold and the cold water pressure was always higher than the gravity hot water tank. I then decided that the best way to get a proper shower was to install an electric shower which would take the cold water pressure and give a consistent good temperature.
I didn’t want to spend too much as all I really needed was nice warm water with good pressure, this shower ticked all boxes for me and the tenant is happy after it was installed and hasn’t complained since.

No hassle whatsoeve
Fitted to replace a Triton Ivory 2. Brilliant value, 30 minutes to fit. Used the original fixing holes.turn off the electric supply, isolate the incoming water is about as technical as it gets. No plumber needed. They dont supply an olive or compression fitting for the water inlet connection so buy elsewhere. Handset and rail a bit budget quality so i kept the old ones,better quality. Apart from that very pleased indeed.

Decent shower. Got good pressures and heat is really good. The range of heat is good from cold too scorching hot. Be careful because it really does get burning hot on high setting.
Wasn’t an easy install since my existing pipe work was different too shower. But that was just me,most pipe work should fit since it has a few options too fit it.
Shower casing wasn’t completely snugg fit but I worked around it.

This was replacing an earlier Triton model, but had various pipe and cable entry options. Maybe could include clearer instructions about fitting the rotary controls, and the shower hose, as I couldn’t find reference to that so had to experiment. Otherwise, easy job, sound product.

Installation was straight forward due to having same entry points for water and power. I paid 65 for the shower and 36 plus VAT (approx 43 inclusive of VAT) for a plumber to install due to having no idea how to do it. Installation first time requires plumber but replacing doesn’t as far as I know.
After a couple of weeks of baths for our family of 4 the shower was bliss
Seems a good, easy to operate shower so far, with good power with the 9.5kw shower. The temperature control is easy. One minor criticism would be that there could be a marker on the on/off switch to say where the dial is pointing. A wee mark or arrow on the end may be a good idea.

Bargain at 65ish and it arrived the next day.
Installed within 48hrs of the previous failure this little baby is great.
I opted for 2 rotary controls, I dislike push button power and besides which the dimensions were critical as the old unit was huge.
1 niggle cost a star … the rotary controls were not correctly set, meaning the case had to keep coming off whilst I reset the knobs to actually indicate what was happening.
All in all a great piece of kit, highly recommended.

This was bought as a cheap replacement – our very old shower broke but we intend to fully replace the bathroom, but we’re not quite ready yet. Triton is a reliable brand, in my experience and this shower has now been running well for about 5 months now. I would recommend. Delivery was as expected too.

Have had this shower for a long time now. It’s perfect & never had any issues. Would highly recommend, very much value for money!
Easy to use
Absolutely delighted with this shower it’s easy to install and use. The rain shower is great and it has a attachment to rinse round your body or bath afterwards (however I’ve not needed to use the attachment to rinse shower gel off me as the top part main shower does that. Right button turns to control temperature.

Gets you wet, gets warm, enough pressure to wash your hair. No frills works fine.

The shower has a dail with numbers 1 to 10 for choosing the temperature. It also has 3 heat settings, cold (blue bar), warm (one red bar) and hot (2 red bars). The water heats up very good but the pressure isn’t perfect on just the warm setting. I never shower on warm setting now because the pressure is better on the hot setting.
I had no issues with the items delivery.

For a cheaper shower this really works well. Decent pressure and water spray ( although I use a different shower head than provided) It was really easy to install and we are very impressed with it. Bought it as a temporary stand-in before buying something better when our shower failed during lockdown but not going to replace it now as we are more than happy with it.
