I upgraded my previous turtle beach headset to these and what an improvement! the sound quality is slightly better but the big improvement is in the microphone which is more handy that the previous models and the volume control which is discretely located on the left ear cover. My previous ones lasted me a couple of years and still counting but I will use these for zoom meetings 🙂

I'm satisfied
I already have one professional headphones for 100+ pounds and this one I buy just to use microphone during online class. So I didn’t expect too much. So I used it 2 days and what I can say:
1. there is noise cancellation and my students confirmed it
2. size of headphones not that big and don’t cover my ears completely
3. music quality is good but not perfect (well it’s only 25 pounds guys)
4. mic is working fine with windows plug and play
5. not sure about plastic looks a bit cheap but I hope it would be fine in general

Great value headset for our Xbox Series X
This headset works a treat and is of great value.
Both my son (10 years) and I use it, so it suits children and adults alike. The cord is long enough and the fitting is quite comfortable.
My only criticism is that the volume control on the headset is limited. On some occasions, I think the volume on the Xbox is a little too low for my liking.

Bought this product for a Christmas present..My son also has the same headset..On both headsets the microphone has broke..If you want to putthe microphone up against the headset it starts to loosen the screw inside that holds it to the headset..You can’t then screw the arm of the microphone back on as you can’t get inside the headset leaving them useless.
am also unable to get in touch with the sellers to return this headset is not cheap..Not happy

Surprisingly excelle
For the price I was expecting less honestly.
I had a very good gaming headset double the price of this one, aaaaand I broke it. Couldn’t justify buying another so i got this to tide me over.
Pros:
-The mic quality is just as good as my old headset.
-Its a fairly comfortable set, not as comfy as my old pair but perfectly usable even for long periods.
Cons:
-no button or switch on the headset to mute your mic quickly
-the audio is good, it’s just not as good as my old headset. The directional quality of it especially is a step down, which is notable in FPS games where direction of sound matters.
Overall, a solid headset. And for the price point its undeniably the best about.
Great budget optio
I bought this to just play online with friends and it’s kept me going for ages I get a lot of use out of them and they still work just great. I’ve literally just bought the Arctis 7x which are much more expensive, but the Recon 70X we’re good and worked just fine on PS, Xbox, Switch and in work calls. The sound quality isn’t bad, fine for this price range, however if you want to get more immersive audio for this new generation of consoles then you’ll definitely want to look at the more expensive options

Well made and with a good sound. This is my second purchase of these, as I gifted the first ones to a family member. Well, if you can call “Please let me have these!!” over and over, being ‘Gifted. All in all very happy with them. They arrived really quickly too.
Good Gaming headphones
Brought these headphones as a like for like replacement. The previous pair developed a fault with the microphone but we had had them several years and they had served us well. Very comfortable to wear and good sound quality for the price paid. I would recommend.

It was his first pair of headphones and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, considering there are more expensive headphones on the market which don’t (in my opinion) sound as good.

I have been using turtle beach for 1 year now. And i decided to get the same headset after 70 recon. My old one still works but not as great however the price is worth it for 1 whole year. Recommended for sure

Dislike: mic comes through a little quiet at times need the mute and unmute to resolve

Stopped working after 9 months but replaced
I originally gave these a 5 star rating, but have changed in down to a 4 star as they have stopped working after 9 months. I contacted amazon who sent out a replacement for the product and i have a happy 10 year old again.

100% Reccommend i
Very easy to use. The mute system did catch me off gaurd though bu you have to move the mic up into the offline position or mute position, it’s a very durable mic and it sensitive to sound so it can hear you easily and sometimes ur surroundings. The wites are firmly put into the mic and not easily pulled out and broken as I have multiple times accidently stood in the wire and pulled my headset and it has flung back down to the floor but the wires are still intact!

Single 3.5mm Jack Lightweight Great Quality Headphones
My sons are 8 and 12 and these headphones fit them both perfectly and are lightweight enough to be comfortable but solid enough to withstand some of the “uncareful” that tends to come with 8 and 12 year old boys! They mainly wanted to use them to plug directly into the PS4 controller to be able to listen/talk on games and this single Jack Audio works well. It is also useful on a laptop with a single headphone socket as when plugged into that area the mic works too so great for Zoom/Skype etc…whereas on my desktop computer there is a separate headphone (green) and mic (pink) socket so these heaphones would then need a splitter.
Great quality headphones
These sit over my ears, not on them, which is much more comfortable. Other headphones I have had hurt my ears after a long time wearing, but these don’t. A volume control on the earpiece means I can adjust the loudness separate to the tv when I am gaming. A great buy!

The sound is good , the max volume is not the highest, the base is not that deep. Not the most comfortable to wear for hours but maybe it’s me who have large ears . But again it can’t be compared with other 50+ headsets.

Works well with Xbox and PC. Though the short cable has it optimized for Xbox. The sound is fine. The only criticism is that those in my Xbox party asked me to turn down the volume slightly as there was bleed through that caused echo. This was a minor inconvenience. For the price, it is well worth it.

The sound is god quality you can flip up the mic to be silent you have to adjust the sound settings on you computer which can be tricky it comes with a quick set up guide eventhough the ear pieces are well padded it does tend to make your ears ache after wearing for 2+ hours it would be nice to have more colour options
Really nice headse
I bought these headphones as a replacement for my phone earphones as after a while if using them they became really uncomfortable. The soft pads really help if you are using them for long periods. The mic works really well and the flip action is great if you do not use it. The sound from these is awesome and so clear. The adjustable volume works really well also. If you are looking for a gaming headset for your ps4 here it is.
Son loves them
Got this for my kid. His first set of gaming headphones and he loves them. I haven’t really used them but from the small amount of use they seem decent for the price.
They must be comfortable because he wouldn’t take them off if I didn’t make him see sun light like the horrible parent that I am.

The first headset that hasnt broken!
My son has had several headsets but this is the first one hes had no issues with. Previous headsets have stopped working or only worked intermittently but have had these for 4 months and not 1 problem. They look great too with his white ps.
Great Budget Gaming Headset from Turtle Beach
Great sound for a great price. Good volume, bass and treble although I recommend enhancing with the audio plus attachment. Cable perfect length and because it plugs into the controller does not interfere with gaming making a more expensive wireless version almost pointless?

Extremely pleased with these after my old ones broke. Light, don’t hurt my ears after hours of gaming and volume is just right. Only issue is that they don’t work with my old turtle beach volume controller which goes into the bottom of my xbox controller so can’t use that anymore.

Very good product for cheap price! Prepare to be isolated from the rest of the world while having this headset on! Adjustable to perfection (I’ve a tiny head :)) and cover widely your ears, even if you’ve big ones like me!
Good material, foldability and mic’s power!
Only two cons: you need to manually rotate back the mic if you’d like to mute yourself (I knew it before buying it though) instead of having a button as the Turtle Beach Recon 50P that I previously had. This is a bit complicated while playing, while for the volume regulator even if is at the back, next to the mic, this it’s not too hard to be used.
The other thing I don’t personally like is that after a while your ears will be very warm.

This is a great headset for the money. Volume is high enough. Comfort is good. Mike seems good , but not used it much yet. All plastic, but no reason why this should be a problem if you treat it properly. You can also use to listen to nextflix,prime,apple tv.

First set of gaming headphones purchased, which are for Warzone on the Xbox. I was struggling in multiplayer with my friends where I could hear them, but they couldn’t hear me. Just go into options and audio tab, then scroll down to ‘Mic’ settings and turn them both up to full whack…job sorted.

I’ve had these for many months now, I’ve tried a different turtle beach headset in past and broke in a week, but THIS particular 1 has surprised me to last me many months now, proven reliable, quality hasn’t deteriorated and the volume adjustment is behind left ear piece which I apsalutly love, I hated previous head sets when gaming and the arm drags the wheel on the wire, very comfortable but on a spare day after a whole day and a late night eventually ears do start to ack but I guess it’s what to expect, overall it’s a 10/10 for me, I’d be sure to get the same set when eventually it breaks. Highly Recommended although I got my brother the same set and he found the band on top added too much pressure to him (just needs wearing enough to get it to adapt)
Great headphones with mic. Work flawlessly on PS4.
I was getting fed up with buying cheap headphones that my son manages to break somehow. He’s very good with his stuff, and isn’t heavy handed, but I bought 4 sets last year alone. These were not much more expensive than the generic brand ones, but being Turtle Beach, they are a cut above. Very nice quality, and extremely good sound and mic response. I’ll update the review if they break or go faulty, but so far these are the best we’ve ever had.
Childproof so far!
While these haven’t been here too long, I can say that this headset has so far stood up to the abuse that my son has given it so far, it’s been dropped, kicked (accidentally) and genuinely mistreated despite my protestations, but still they continue to work great.

HONEST REVIEW: This is a tidy headset for the price that it is currently at. The sound quality is good and my friends could hear me well on our PS4 party chat. There is great comfort and adjustability of the headphones and the long story short is that these headphones get the job done!
However, there is little to no surround sound unless you really increase the volume and even at that it is still mediocre and at that volume it will just end up damaging your ears over time. At the same time though, you have to remember that this is a pair of headphones on the cheaper side of things so if you’re willing to compromise surround sound for just a regular sound then this is a great purchase for you but if you need that surround sound that blocks you out of the world and gives you that immersive experience when playing…then there are probably better products on the market.
Good Quality
I have to say considering the price these are very good quality. Brought them for my nephew for Christmas to go with his PS5 and they work really well. Sound quality is really good. The microphone quality is very good, it doesn’t pick up much background noise. He uses them for streaming on YouTube and he’s very happy with them.

Good for the offer price
I got for my daughter to play with family and friends online under the situation. The mic is clear enough and the sound quality is ok for the price. My daughter says the headset is comfortable. There is a bit of a premium for it being a gaming headset though compared to buying a generic headset.

Bought two of these headsets for my sons as stocking fillers and neither were disappointed. Turtle Beach is a brand I know to trust and these budget friendly headsets are perfect for my boys and their online gaming. They do everything they’re supposed to, the sound quality is decent and there’s a good level of noise cancellation. I’d recommend these to anyone.
Absolutely fantastic with wireless controllers
I had this now since October (it’s December now) for three months, it’s exceptionally comfortable, 6 hour gaming sessions and I do not get tired of wearing it so that’s great (if like me you’re used to terrible cheap ebay headsets) , my friends say the audio from the mic is pretty good, and the surround audio from the headset is pretty good, the only weakness is that I use a PowerA spectrum wired controller and some games really make the mic make weird noises, but with standard wireless headsets it’s perfectly good, would buy again, no problems with connectivity and has not broke
Decent budget headset, wouldnt want it as my daily driver though.
Bought this as a spare headset whilst I waited for a replacement bluetooth headset and for if either my headset or my girlfriends needs charging and for 25 quid you cant really go wrong. The comfort is the only thing I can knock and the only reason it didnt get 5 stars but for such a small price tag and when its used as a spare its not much of a concern to me, I would like to add my head is on the larger size so that is the reason for the discomfort I imagine.
Good headset, two minor problems!
Headset is a good standard for the price paid. Decent sound and a good quality mic overall. However, when the volume is the highest possible level, one hear tends to cut out and doesn’t provide any sound which is disappointing. This isn’t too much of a problem it just means I have to use it at a lower volume. Another problem I’ve had is that according to other people listening to my mic, it creates a faint buzzing noises. This is a problem for many mics at this price range and personally I don’t find it too problematic. But overall, good headset and is definitely a great option for people wanting to spend under 30!
Solid headse
Good all around headset in terms of comfort, functionality and usage. Bit disappointed with the quality of the sound as at the price point would expect a bit more.
Mute function is on the microphone (swing it up past ear to mute) which takes a bit getting used to but is good.

Turned up with only one side working. The wire wasn’t soldered on. I’ve heard these can suffer with poor build quality. However rather than return it and cause more plastic waste, I fixed it in 10 mins with a soldering iron. I guess if you want better quality, don’t buy cheap headphones.
Still now they are working I use them a lot for gaming and the work well. Had some issues with the mic mute, turns out I wasn’t folding it away completely (which mutes it), I think an inline mute would be better. Overall 7-8/10 they are a bit plasticy but great for entry level
It does work with Switch and Fortnite
I was a little skeptical as view differ about compatibility with Nintendo Switch and Fortnite. I checked the manufacturer website and helpful guide and went ahead and purchase and there was no problem what so ever. My son was straight back on the game giving orders. It will work with Nintendo Switch and Fortnite and you just need to read the guidance on settings if you have difficulties. Product quality looks fine but time will tell.
Really nice headset! Budget friendly, really clear sound and mic works amazingly. Bought for a PS4 and just had to plug it straight into the controller and it works perfectly! You can adjust the sound on the headset which I didn’t realise it had and the flip-to-mute action on the mic also works well! Nice and comfortable, forget I’m wearing it sometimes! I’d say it’s glasses friendly as well (as I wear them myself) though now and again may need adjusting! Added a video of the product!
Comfortable to wear and good quality
These were for my son and having tried them on myself I know that they are very comfortable to wear.
My son has had problems with other headphones with a mic before and constantly broke them but with this one the mic pulls back to the ear meaning he doesnt need it out all the time.

Good for the price but broke within 5 months
Been using these in my pc for my work meetings during lockdown. When working can’t fault them however they’ve started to suffer the dreaded issue of one headphone cutting out if the wire is a certain way after 5 months. For me, that’s fine it was just a cheap solution, however these are sat on my desk all the time not being abused and this happened within 5 months, I can’t imagine then, that they would last long in a child/teens room when theyre putting them on and off playing games

Great value headse
My grandson has a habit of destroying most of the default headphones that have come with the consoles so we wanted something a little robust but not so cheap as to be of bad quality. This headset came recommended and I can say that it seems to have worked. It’s robust, the cable is of a decent quality and his voice comes over clearly when in a game with him. Ok for its money but missing some good bits
It’s like what they say you get what you pay for the money you pay they work great compared to my last headset I found it not so good on enemy’s sneaking up on u. Or more precise position on them.comfort wise pretty good spent 5hrs straight and didn’t find it annoying me. As far as the mic goes the small plastic arm on it is a clever idea as a simple push up and turns it off but to shot to reach the mouth so you find yourself shouting louder, for the money it does the job good

When I was in search of a new headset, Turtle Beach came to mind quickly as I had previously had one of their headsets.
With the budget in mind, this headset had fit in perfectly, so I bought one quickly as I had just broken my previous headset.
When it had arrived, I was surprised by the small factor of the headset, not disappointed, just surprised. Even though the headphones fit perfectly, they are still small compared to the other headsets I’ve owned.(might want to look out for that)
After a few months of usage though, they still work amazing and I’ve had no problems with them so far.
I fully recommend these headphones with anyone who has a small budget in mind.

The downside is my husband has turned into an absolute fog horn!!! I have no idea why but he looses the ability to talk like a normal person when wearing these. He has to shout, extremely loud, so loud that the neighbours can hear. He assured me the headphones were not broken and it’s just him. He’s broken, If id bought him off amazon I’d 100% be requesting a refund.

Great value and good audio
Good sound quality and mic works well. Would be useful to have a toggle near the controller for turning mute on and off. Surprisingly good noise isolation as I can’t really hear what it going on in the house when I’m playing with game audio through the headphones. Makes a huge difference for games like PUBG or COD where you need to have spatial audio to workout which direction a noise is coming from.

I use them for my PS4 to chat with people and I have asked everyone of the quality of the mic and they have said that the quality is amazing and some have said they sound like an expensive mic/headset.
The mic also have a mute feature, but to do this you have to move the mic all the way back (you can see the image/instructions on how to mute the mic)

These Turtle Beach Headphones come in at a blooming good price and look and feel great. The quality of the unit itself is super and they are nice to wear.
I would say that the sound quality is a solid 5 or 6 out of 10. Honestly nobody will say they are great because they simply are not. Especially if you are listening to music or have a film on… but for call of duty they are perfectly fine.
If you want a good looking and comfortable headset then these are great.
Want quality sound then look elsewhere.
I bought these for when I am recording my YouTube gaming channel videos via my Samsung S8 and playing on the PS4.
Regards to the microphone. I found my recordings to be much clearer and crisper than they were with my previous headset. I’m not the loudest speaker and the microphone has no problems picking me up. It is also great when gaming on my PS4.
The sound in the earphones is also fantastic. When platjng Fortnite I could hear everything far more clearly than my other headphones. For anyone having issues connecting to the PS4. It’s not.plug and play. You have to go into settings and devices to set it up.
But yes…very pleased with my purchase. My recordings are far better than they were before.

I’m now coming to the end of April and they’re still working brilliantly. They are well made, with great sound. I use them a lot, because of recording for my channel. I think they’re amazing quality, given the price. I even have them tagged in my video descriptions and recommend them to anyone looking for a good headset that want break the bank.
Fantastic Sounds
Excellent pair of headphones, plugged straight into my xbox one s controller and worked. I reviewed these on Utube and most said they were bad quality (compared to their 500 pair I’m sure they are) highly recommended. Personally I have dolby atmos downloaded to enhance sound quality and its noticeably better.

urtle beach headphones all have a good rep. I purchased these ones for the value for money and I have a younger brother who games online none stop and he suggested this pair. Been using them for a month and there really good especially since you can use them late night and turn the sound of the tv to keep the neighbours happy. sounds good, comfy pair and sturdy too. also the mic doesn’t detach so you don’t end up losing it lol

Does everything you want from a gaming headset. The mic is clear and well positioned (the lift-up-to-mute functionality is a nice touch), ideal for screaming about the spawn-camper that’s killed you a dozen times in a row.
The headphones themselves are a little tighter than I generally like, but I hav quite a large head, so that’s more on me. Sound quality is good, and they block a fair amount of external noise too, reallyletting you hear what those teenagers online are saying about your parentage and skills at the current game.
Bought for my son to use on his switch and PS4. They plug straight into both controllers and work but to get these working to there full potential on PS4 they require the usb lead that plugs into the PS4. Luckily we still had the one that came with the older set.i have actually used them myself recently while I wait my own stealth 700s arriving to play the new Cod and I’m actually very surprised how good they are. With these not actually having the surround sound I could hear where players were coming from good enough I actually think the 700s will be a waste.if your a casual gamer I highly recommend these for the price they are 90 cheaper than the 700s and work great!!
Great gaming experience
Bought these for my grandson who is an avid gamer on both Xbox and Playstation. His feedback on these is the sound is crystal clear and volume fantastic. He says the microphone is excellent also and really clear, however, the product loses a star because it has no mute button. Other than that, he says they look really smart and is over the moon and at 26, so am I … highly recommend, buy with confidence.
Son loves them – being an avid player of the Xbox he is forever going through headphones due to various reasons. These Turtle Beach headphones are excellent, fit well, comfy to wear and the sound quality is excellent.
I bought these to replace my office Wireless Sony Gold headphones. This turtle beach headset connects directly to the control. Although you lose the surround sound trickery found with the Sony head set, I was hard pushed to tell the difference. The mic volume is much better and the quality of the sound was decent.
In short, for the money, this is great value.
Gave these to my 6 year old grandson and he loves them, he’s always breaking the mic on them but this one you can tuck away onto the side of the head set and it saves it from getting broken, he says the quality of them are really good, his friends can hear him clearly and he can hear them clearly too.

Bought for my Son to use with his Xbox. He loves them for online gaming with friends. The microphone being able to be moved out of the way is a good feature. They look good and my Son hasn’t complained about anything with them so far so win, win for me. They were a good price too.
