Ganz gutes headse
Nachdem ich dieses headset auch fr die Xbox Series X kaufte und total zufrieden bin, kaufte ich es auch fr die PS5.
Davor hatte ich das Pulse3D. Aber der Tragekomfort war so unterirdisch, dass ich es nach wenigen Tagen zurck schickte.

Dann bestellte ich das hier und hatte keinen Ton.
Nach langem probieren habe ich es zurck geschickt.

Dann kaufte ich das Arktis P7+
berzeugte mich nicht. Zu dumpf.

Dann eskalierte ich und kaufte das Razer Kairo Pro, das ganz neue von Sony (Inzone H9) und, weil es halt so gut war und ich es nicht wahr haben wollte, dass es nicht gehen soll, noch mal das Turtle Beach.

Vielleicht hatte ich ein Montagsgert.

Plot twist: alle Headsets haben bei mir diesen Sound bug, dass es knarzt oder eben der Ausfall. Es lag also an der PS5. Was genau, wei ich bis heute nicht. Auch der Support konnte nichts mit meinem Anliegen anfangen.
Auer den Tipp geben, die Konsole zurck zu setzen und die Software neu aufzuspielen.

Da wir noch 4mbits haben (ja, das war kein Tippfehler) warte ich noch auf den Ausbau hier auf dem Land im Herbst.

Also weiter getestet der Sound fing sich nach ner Zeit. Und mehrmaliges aus und einstecken half.

Das turtle Beach ist nach wie vor das beste headset fr 100.
Liegt super an den Ohren.
Fest, aber nicht unangenehm.
Und vernnftiger, krftiger Sound. Zumindest verglichen mit jedem anderen headset bis etwa 150.

Dass ich mich am Ende fr das 300 headset von Sony entschied, liegt einfach daran, dass der Sound da besser ist.
Fr 300 zwar nicht gut genug, aber deutlich besser, als von jedem headset, welches ich testete.

Also wer maximal so um 150 rum ausgeben mchte, sollte das turtle Beach mal testen.
Eine Enttuschung ist es definitiv nicht.

Das Mikro reagiert super. Das Umschalten funktioniert optimal.
es ist nicht zu warm unter den Muscheln.

Und das simultane hren von Smartphone und Konsole ist eine nette Idee.

Ihr solltet evtl ber die App den Bass etwas runter stellen. Ich meine mich zu erinnern, dass der zu krftig war und viele es deshalb als schlecht abstempelten.
Mit der App kann man in Echtzeit das EQ anpassen, Bzw es auf 0 setzen. Dann ist es besser. Subjektiv gesehen zumindest.

5 Sterne, da ich es ja nicht mit einem headset vergleichen kann, welches drei mal so teuer ist.
Und das turtle Beach hat nun mal was zu verbieten.
Die ganzen Tests sprechen fr sich und besttigen meine persnliche Erfahrung.

Product amazing….packaging non existent!
The product itself is amazing I’d highly recommend to any gamer. The packaging is the worst I’ve ever seen in my life, especially on a product like this. The seller should be ashamed for sending it in some tissue paper!! I’ve honestly had toilet roll stronger than what was wrapped around the box!

Brilliant bit of kit! Took a few minutes to work out how to connect to the Series S xbox but the sounds is phenomenal for the price! Really comfortable to wear, mic flip is very handy and it blocks out surrounding sound well!

Can use the Bluetooth at the same time as connected to XBOX so in a sense a 2 in 1 headset.

Feels a bit tight would of been nice if u could get material ear covers.

Awesome headset with Dolby Atmos Suppo
I’ve been using a wired headset with my Xbox one X but the cable is just annoying.
After finally bagging a Series X I decided a new wireless headset would be beneficial.
I’ve known about Turtlebeach for a very long time but I haven’t bought their products before.
I’ve known people over the years who have raved about Turtlebeach headsets including my great nephew.
After reading various reviews I decided to give these a go.
Firstly, anyone who has complained about the volume has not updated the firmware.
The Turtlebeach app let’s you set the maximum volume which makes sense if young kids are using them. Otherwise when set to maximum in the app and on the volume control it’s more than loud enough.
The Dolby Atmos app on the Xbox store is well worth the few quid.
Setting up the headset was a doddle and a quick check in the console settings to make sure Dolby Atmos had been selected.
Now, I’ve only been using them for a few hours but I will update this review if I get any problems.
In game sound is just phoenominal, you have to experience it to understand it and I never knew what I had been missing in game play.
The microphone is probably the best design I’ve come across and easy to pull down and push back.
You get a beep on the left to let you know the microphone is active or deactivated.
Build quality seems quite good as well and seems well designed.
There is a mode button for sound presets, which are Signature sound, Bass boost, Bass and treble boost and Vocal boost.
I’m really impressed with these and honestly I can’t find anything to say against them.
I’ve also ordered a pair for my great nephew and they will inhance our gameplay.

This was a replaceme
This is a replacement as the first one stopped working. So l am hoping this one will lasts longer. It was a good service for the replacement which arrived very promptly. Thank you

Fantastic
Don’t know why these silly people on comment section saying it can’t be updated. Just updated my firmware via Mac OS once you download audio hub on macOS store. These are so much better than Sony Pulse 3D

Great sound, feels food too
Straight out the box these carry a good charge, switched in ny xbox and hit the pair button with in about 5 secs it was a all connected. From the frt go I was impressed, i got these to play the new cod game as I work nights iv always been a bit limited on sound levels after shift so these are the perfect solution, i could hear new depths to the game. The mic is good quality and the way to balance game volume and mic is really good and easy to use. I played for about 4 hours and other than a couple times I took them off they felt really comfortable, tigth enuff not to slip but really good for long game play, ears didn’t get hot and sweaty or sore. Highly recommend

Brilliant cans for PS5
For PS5 I was going to get the Pulse 3Ds, the Razer BlackShark V2s and then the Steel Series Arctis 7Ps. After huge amount of research I actually went with Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2s and could not be happier. Basically there’s no real negatives with them (I’m really fussy) and after a years use they are as good as day one. The battery charge life is incredible. The 3D audio and noise cancelling fantastic. The bass is better than the rest probably due to being 50mm in diameter. Hardly any others have that and are just 40mm. They go as loud as you ever need and have mic monitoring. The mic is great quality and can easily be made discreet which acts as the handy mute function. As well as having convenient USB-C charging, the 2.4ghz USB discreet dongle (that doesn’t block your other USB front input like the Arctis 7 dongle does) they have Bluetooth so you can easily listen to music on your phone whilst gaming or take and make a quick call which is a really nice feature. Apparently I can also output my LG CX TVs audio to them but I’ve yet to try this. They also let you tweak the actual sound with a useful app which I thought would be just a gimmick. High end sounds can be amplified for footsteps etc (super human hearing) and then assigned to its own headphone button. The article mentions about the controls being close to each other which is true but in reality once you’ve got them set up you seldom ever need to touch the controls. If anything they were slightly too tight at first (I’ve quite a large head) but can easily be made perfect by carefully stretching the metal sections of the fully extended headband a little with your hands or by leaving them on something a little wider than your head for a short while. The plush/gel cooling material that covers the headphones make them incredibly comfortable for long sessions too. They also fold flat against your chest if you want to slip them off your ears for whatever reason. There’s even a part you can remove to allow for spectacles accessible if you remove the earpads. Build quality is really good I’d also say despite being mainly plastic. Only downside is needing to select what audio I’m outputting to on PS5 when I switch them on. I have my default outlut set to my TVs hi-fi set-up for normal use and when I go online with pals I set the output to my headphones. With something like the Sony Pulses this is automatic. Also you can only mix chat/game volume at system level unless you have the Pulse 3Ds due to the way they’ve set the PS5s audio system up but I’m nitpicking. Best headphones I’ve ever had by a country mile and at 120 they’re incredible value too. If I accidentally sit on them I’ll be buying them again rather than trying something else as there’s little to no compromises with these.

Edit: one thing I’d like to see improved upon for future model it firmware update is that there’s definitely a slight microsecond delay with the mic monitoring. I had to turn it down a bit and it took a while to get used to. There’s also a slight static buzz on the PS5 home screen. These are the most common complaints with this headset but for me they weren’t a deal breaker.

Edit 2: I updated the firmware and so far the home screen static slight buzz has gone. Also unless I’m imagining it there’s no slight delay anymore with mic monitoring. Awesome!!

All round great headse
Originally had this with my Series S and loved it but sold when upgrading to the Series X, bought it back recently and found myself using it much more now. The design of the headset is excellent and fits my head perfectly. I’m a gamer who plays for long periods (15-16 hours certain days) and I can say I’ve never felt discomfort or compression like I got with other headsets, fits like a glove (Not OJ’s).
the sound is very good, not perfect but unless you pay 200+ for headset then this is the best sound you can get. The modes offer great variety like bass boost, vocal boost, superhuman sound etc but for normal games I would recommend sticking to the standard setting. Superhuman sound works like a charm in online games like COD, Gears etc and massively identifies footsteps making it very easy to know where your enemy is, this does make the sound quite tinny but it’s a must have in competitive online games, helping you get those extra kills that could make the difference. I heard people complaining about button placement on the back but I have had zero issues with switching volume levels for game or chat and have always hit the correct button for modes/power off. The mic is excellent and I love the fact it can be quickly tucked into the headset which also mutes the mic. Mic quality is superb, no voice loss and it’s very loud and clear, so much so my friend said he was glad I had it as it never made unwanted noises and was crisp. In terms of updating the firmware via PC I wouldn’t worry about it as the last update was mid 2020 which the headset comes with installed, if you have no PC it’s no problem. Overall a wonderful headset that has excellent audio, fits well with no discomfort and the mic stands out as being superb. Plus it’s the easiest headset I’ve ever set up. 9/10

Excellent sound quality
Great sound quality and easy to use with quite a range, don’t pop to an upstairs toilet thinking you’re out of range like I did! Build quality a little on the flimsy side but makes up for it with excellent clarity.

Probably the best headset for XBOX.

Very comfortable without causing sweaty ears. Bluetooth works fine with my Samsung tab and LG CX.
Only negative is the app is rubbish. The custom EQ saves on the fourth profile when it should be on the fifth.

Excellent for gaming, music and meetings
I use these headphones for everything and they are superb. The sound quality is excellent, especially for music which really surprised me. At first they felt a little tight but they’ve loosened up nicely and they’re super comfy, I could (and do) wear them for hours. Previous headphones I’ve used sometimes make my ears really hot, or just get gradually uncomfortable, these do not do that. As I’ve said at first they were a little tight but once worn in they are perfect.

I assume the main thing people are buying these for is the monitoring. Well I can say it is very good, far better than any other I have used. You still have to adjust volumes for different games but that’s an Xbox sound normalisation issue and not a problem with the headphones.

Have recommended these to friends and they love them too.

Fantastic headset.
Picked these up when on offer but would happily pay full price for them. Fantastic sound that really get you immersed into the game. The mic is spot on and nice to have the feedback feature as well. Recommended for sure.

Don’t bother with Pulse3D
Let me start by saying I did not pay RRP for this headset. Got it off Amazon warehouse with like new condition and it was literately brand new, less than half the price. So with that in mindwowwhat a great set of headphones for the ps5, dongle and use of app made it very easy to pair with the machine. Very comfy for long sessions, and the adjustability of sound via the app makes this a winner over pulse3D, and on par with the Arctis 7P but seeing as I got it so cheap, this particular purchase wins all day!

More than worth the money
Great quality headset. Comfortable to wear and the microphone is crisp and clear. The volume controls are great for both the amount of sound coming through the ear pieces as well as the sound from the mic.
