I love these after owning stealth 600 gen2 for my xbox which I still have and use , it seemed like a good move to try these and I’m glad I did.
I own a pair for my ps5 after a not so impressive stint trying some steel series 7p+ where I couldn’t find the right sound so I bought these and I’m glad I did.
Very comfortable once you break them in a bit , they are a bit tight first if all clamping force wise but not uncomfortable and that wears off once they have been worn a bit.
Nice deep ear cushions keep the sound in and they have cooling gel so you don’t get to sweaty during long cod sessions.
The stock signature sound is great no mucking about but they connect via app so you can tweak EQ settings there if needed and switch to super human hearing mode if playing proper sweaty competitive.
I find the signature sound is great all round weather I’m playing immersion story games or cod it has a nice balance and didn’t need any tweaking for me.
It also works well with ps5 3d spatial sound.
I liked these so much I also got a pair for my series x and again just superb especially when using dolby atmos.
If either pair break I will get the new 700 stealth gen 2 max which works on both systems.
I know turtle beach had a pretty bad rep back in the day but using these and the 600 gen 2s I can tell you that is no longer the case these are a great purchase.

I mainly game on PC and this works really well with the USB dongle (sold seperately). The build quality is excellent and the sound is perfect. I like the mobile app customisation but I’d like to see a windows app to offer the same controls. The wireless range is quite good but dont walk off too far or it may disconnect. It doesn’t have volume control integration with Windows so all volume controls are through the scroll wheel on the headset. The superhuman hearing feature can be turned off and on with a button and comes in usefull in some FPS situations but can seem a little too tinny. It’s nice to be able to switch to my XBOX too with the touch of the sync button. All in all I’d buy it again and look forward to future models and improvements.

Absolutely brilliant sound, very easy to use, the sturdiness is fabulous and very comfy to wear. Turtle Beach Headphones are a fantastic brand.

This headset is my first purchase from a turtle beach brand. After having used the original one ear headset from xbox i find this a lot better. It is very comfy and glasses friendly, plus also fits my big head which is also a plus. The sound is good aswell. You can hear clearly both in game and party chats.

Bought specifically for XBox X Easy setup works great. I particularly like the fact that you can isolate chat and games sound, so if you are chatting to a friend in game you can turn down the game sounds. You can also isolate sounds and make it super sensitive to hear footsteps etc in game.

Overall quality of sound is really excellent. Headset is quite bulky and has a tendency to get a little hot, but it encourages a break every now and again which is a good thing anyway.

Brill bit of kit comfortable and does the job nicely the only reason gets 4 stars is u cant update the app for the headphones with out a pc.

Can connect via Bluetooth to a computer but you need very specific steps that they don’t tell you. They are super comfortable with good-sound. Can be worn for hours.

Fantastic audio. Mic monitoring on point. Everything is adjustable using a simple app on you phone. You’ll find it difficult to find another headset this price range that performs this well. Superhuman hearing mode does what it says on the tin, makes the game sound truly awful but you’ll be able to identify every single footstep to within a foot of its origin. Easy to use innovative on board controls that are fully customisable via the app.

The one single drawback it has it its unbreakable mortal bond to the xbox it is connected to. Switch the headset on….xbox turns on. Just want to listen to music on your phone? Switched the xbox off? Guess what……your headset is off as well.

If the headset is only going to be used with your console. Buy it. If you want it to do other things. Don’t.

Awesome headphones quality sound and feel great when they are on. Only downside is they need updating when I don’t have a pc or laptop. But easily sorted. Otherwise I can not fault these at all.

To be honest I can’t fault the headset at all. Sound quality is iursrs dung, volume is much more than you’ll ever need. Mic quality is decent, auto muting when you push the mic half way up is incredibly convenient. Build quality is just fantastic. I used to have an issue with my. Old Logitec G930 headset when wearing it for hoursit would stsrt to get sore and uncomfortable around my ears – this headset doesn’t have that issue at all. Comfort levels are as good as it gets.

Why only four star of they are so great? The reason is software related. I have had regular issues getting the headset to connect to my phone app. As well as this occasionally when you turn the headset on they can freeze or glitch out and need to be reset. Another issue I have fairly regular is when they are turned on they dont pick up any sound or mic input and need to be reset. These are minor frustrations but unfortunately do take away from the overall experience.

This is a quality product, good quality plastics, metal for the head band and super soft, well fitted ear cups that accommodate kids to adult head sizes. I wear glasses too and they soft cups accommodate the arms with no undue pressure or discomfort. Set up is really easy on the Xbox, just press the bind buttons on both devices and done. Obvious tweaks required in game as needed such as Fortnite. Also has a phone app connected by Bluetooth to tweak various settings. Again super easy to connect. My son also uses the headset for his online schooling for listening in on online classes l and has the mic to communicate. The headphones come with a nice case with charging capability when stored away. The sound quality is quite impressive, a well balanaced crisp sound with plenty of bass in gaming for if you wish. A quality try product.

A brilliant headset, although I’d recommend tweaking the EQ, turning base slightly down and the others up slightly. Good mic, great sound quality, but God is the software that pairs with it awful, computer software? Awful. The the audio hub app? Don’t even speak of such thing, it is so unmistakeably bad that I almost sent these back. Thought I’d share my fix for the app if your headset doesn’t appear when searching; please ensure you have allowed the app to use your location ALL the time to connect, also ensure you phone and headset is paired before doing this (even that was troublesome). But overall, great headset, clamping force is much higher than usual, but the padding is cool and sir, so it doesn’t hurt (me atleast) and is rather comfortable. Flip to mute mic is always welcome, however a lot of background noise can get through, so take that into consideration.

Love these best turtle beaches I have bought for a Long time and love the super human mode, they last a very long time aswell only charge them once a week

Excellent sound and build quality. Comfortable for long gaming sessions. Used with Dolby, not the default ‘Superhuman’ setting.

My 18 year old son loves this headset, the best he has had and he’s had a lot of head sets.

Finally got this product after my Steelseries Arctis 9X started to fall apart (See my Review on that) first original replacement order was not delivered or stolen from doorstep wherever they left it??

Have to say after setting this up yesterday evening that the build for a Turtle Beach feels great and don’t see the same issues happening that I had with the Steelseries, EarCup hinges look better designed and they feel really comfortable. Sound is also really good too and with the Super Real Sound facility when audio is critical in certain games (WarZone etc) it really is pinpointing.

You also have the Turtle Beach Audio hub that allows you to customise aspects of the headset and change volumes, this is a bit complicated but I am sure I will learn how it works better with more use.

Really happy with the headset on first try and once set up correctly I’m sure it will be great.

I am writing this review before the Xbox Series X is out. I have actually bought two of these, one for myself to use my husband’s old Xbox One and one for him to use with the new Xbox series X.

His head is larger than mine, and when you first see the headset ear cushions they may seem a bit big but actually they are what makes this sooo comfortable. They seem to adapt a bit like memory foam to your shape and body heat. The headset adjusts on both sides for a bigger head and also the ear panels swivel so it can adapt to a wonky head!

Pros:
Mutes the mic when you flip the mic up.
Seperate audio slider for game and chat.
They feel good quality.
When you turn them on, your xbox comes on too (just like controller, you cant turn off console with headset).
When it turns on it tells you how much battery it has left.
They arrived fully charged.

Cons:
For me, my phone put bluetooth (phone) music audio through differently if the bluetooth was also connected for calls. Turn off calls and it comes through crystal clear.

If you are using bluetooth for calls only and connecting to xbox for audio and chat, there are no issues in sound quality.

Overview:
Fantastic quality, enhanced in game experience with surround sound effects. I have yet to try the mobile app.

I bought one, tried it and then bought another one. Fantastic kit.

Yet to try on laptop but thats also bluetooth so I dont see any issues there… possibly an adapter might be needed for mic use, if I remember I will test and update this in the future.
