About Umbra
Umbra is a global housewares product design company which is bringing thought and creativity to everyday items through original design.
It is a Toronto-based homeware design company born over 30 years ago when graphic designer, Paul Rowan, couldn’t find a nice window shade to hang in his apartment window. So, he made one and people liked it. He soon teamed up with childhood friend, Les Mandelbaum, and Umbra (in Latin, “shade”) was born. Les and Paul began reimagining everyday items into modern ware.
Today, Umbra is recognised all over the world for bringing intelligent design to everyday items. An in-house team of international designers allows us to come up with original design that speaks universally and personally to a broad customer base. The journey that started in Toronto continues- Umbra designs can be found in over 120 countries.

I am so pleased with this! It was larger than I thought it would be, feels really sturdy and looks so beautiful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a stylish way to display a few special pieces of jewellery. Necklaces and bracelets hang well on the arms and rings and earrings can be stored on the leaf at bottomperfect!

I bought two as gifts and both recipients were very pleased. Lots of room for beads to hang and a handy dish for earrings/trinkets..
I have edited this review because I was about to purchase another BUT it is now 59.99!! I paid 13.99 in December so how could this price hike be justified? Do not pay this much for it – it’s not worth that sort of money.

Stable and fit for purpose
Have had jewellery mannequin/stand on my wife’s gift list for a long time but have been unable to find anything until now. Does not have the elegance of her now tired and worn mannequin (will see if my tailor can fashion a new outfit for it) but it does the job and looks ok on her dressing table. Stable enough to hold a good quantity of bits and pieces. My wife was pleased to receive it.

Die Lieferung verlief schnell und ohne Probleme. Durch die schlechte Rezension war ich mir unsicher aber bin total glcklich und bereue den Kauf berhaupt nicht. Es sieht wunderschn aus und ist sehr schlicht. Halben Punkt Abzug fr die Qualitt des Stnders, der leicht zu brechen scheint, aber man kann es hinterher bei Unflle fixieren mit Heikleber 🙂

It’s a nice alternative to hanging your jewellery. I gave 4 stars because for 20 I would have expected more “pegs” to hang things on, but the leaf dish underneath is a good touch. It’s very pretty too !

Looks great! It’s very sturdy and delivery was good, nothing was broken or bent. It was actually MUCH bigger than I expected. You can hang a full necklace from the top parts and it won’t touch the bottom. Overall very nice!

Many of the other hangers are not very high which means the necklaces need to be doubled and so on. Not the case at all with this one - it is high enough to hang full length necklaces and also an elegant piece to look at.

No more knots
Really pleased with this tree looks good as a stand alone or with necklaces and bracelets on no more knotted chains.
