Umbra is a global housewares product design company which is bringing thought and creativity to everyday items through original design.
It is a Toronto-based homeware design company born over 30 years ago when graphic designer, Paul Rowan, couldn’t find a nice window shade to hang in his apartment window. So, he made one and people liked it. He soon teamed up with childhood friend, Les Mandelbaum, and Umbra (in Latin, “shade”) was born. Les and Paul began reimagining everyday items into modern ware.
Today, Umbra is recognised all over the world for bringing intelligent design to everyday items. This stand is sturdy & holds so much jewellery! Much more space efficient that several boxes to hold all my beaded necklaces!

Had pendants in various locations and rarely wore most of them. Now in one place and easily accessible. Very decorative in my bedroom. Love it.
My son bought me this for my birthday and I am really pleased with it. I am mainly using it to hang some of my delicate necklaces – the ones that always get tangled up when left in the jewellery box! So now I don’t have to spend time untangling them and struggling to see where the knots are in the links! The leaf bowl at the bottom is perfect for earrings, although some of them can also be suspended on the ‘stems’ of the tree. It makes an attractive addition to my dressing table and combines elegant design with functionality – on a budget. What’s not to like?

I was so excited to receive this item and it hasn’t disappointed! My favourite flower in an orchid so this was just perfect to hold my jewellery in. It’s bigger than I expected but it’s not huge. It’s beautiful and holds my jewellery perfect, loads of space’s for all your jewellery and the base is very sturdy! I thought it would wobble but the base is thick and flat underneath so no wobbling. I’d be very happy to purchase this as a gift for somebody.

Se ve bonito y est suficientemente alto para poder cargar cadenas y pulseras. Lo nico que no me gust tanto es que la pintura es mate y da la impresin de ser de plstico. Por lo dems, me parece muy bien. Es bastante resistente.

Bought as a gift for my niece. She was very pleased. It’s bigger than it looks but that’s not a complaint. It’s good quality and looks good.

It really adds an elegant touch to my room! I love the varying levels because I have a lot of different length necklaces/bracelets. It has a soft padded underneath so no scratches on my wood furniture! Could be a little more grippy though when Im cleaning things off as it moves a bit too easily, but day to day open/close the drawers its perfectly stable!

Era tanto che mi ripeteva di dover trovare una soluzione alle catenina che si ingarbugliavano fra loro e al fatto che tutte le mie gioie fossero sul com della Camera da letto dove una volta uscita la mattina non rientro pi per non svegliare il bimbo che dorme.. finiva sempre che mettevo le solite due cose che rimanevano sul lavandino la sera.. con questo oggetto ora posso scegliere cosa mettere avendo tutto sott’occhio e a portata di mano. Si intona perfettamente con il mio bagno e mi piace davvero tanto!

This jewellery tree could be used to hang a multitude of small items. It’s stylish and exactly as described.
This has to be one of the loveliest things I’ve ever treated myself to. It’s wonderfully graceful, the curved stem classically beautiful and the buds perfect for holding jewellery in place. I was delighted to find that all but my very longest necklaces hang gracefully on the tree: many other trees are a little too short for them. All in all, a delight to own and use.

This is the nicest jewellery stand I have ever seen and is currently pride of place on my bedside. It is exactly as the picture and is happily storing my 18″ necklaces no problem. It has a nice weight to it and I can’t see it being knocked over too easily.

Love the look of the organizer. It is a feature on my dresser. Lots of places to drape necklaces, earrings and brackets. But if you have a lot jewelry you may not have enough room for everything.

I should have read the description better. When I ordered, I thought the product was bronze. It arrived in good condition, unlike some other reviewers’ product. So far so good, using for jewelry and very cute. Just wish it was bronze so it matched my decor. I might repaint it but don’t want paint to rub off on my nice jewelry.

I’m so glad I bought this! A lot bigger than I thought and I have received tonnes of compliments on it. My necklaces never get tangled and I never lose my rings anymore, I’m so happy with it!

I bought this jewellery tree for my necklaces and dangling earrings and it’s great! I don’t have tons so they look lovely on there and the bowl for rings and studs is handy too. I’ve given it four stars because it would be nice if it came in a variety of colours to choose from. Other than that, it’s great.

I bought this jewellery tree as a present, arrived quickly, well packaged. I took it out of the box to look before I give it away, it looks nice, strong and solid. You can hang a lot on it, either necklaces, bracelets, rings too. So far it’s a nice purchase.

I love the elegance of this jewelry tree. Its curve is unique. I hang my long necklaces from the top, and the leaf dish is a perfect place to allow the pendants to rest. There are enough branches and they are long enough to allow several chains be draped over each (mine is filled with several on each branch). It can get top-heavy and tilt over easily if any pressure is put on a branch while pulling off a chain, but honestly, I’ve found that problem easy to avoid. When it does tilt over, most everything stays on. If you’re looking for something simple and unique, get this one. The quality is perfect, and the leaf dish makes it sturdy enough for the job.

Looks cheap quality on its own, but pretty once you cover it in jewellery.
It looks a bit plastic-y and the thick, darker part underneath the leaf at the bottom actually is plastic. I wouldn’t have paid the price that Umbra are selling it for if I’d known that the product wouldn’t look like it’s very good quality. However, when you cover it in your jewellery it actually looks quite pretty and you can’t really notice that it looks like plastic.

I have had so many compliments on this! I was surprised at how heavy weight this item was, without looking bulk. This won’t tip over or break easily! It displays my jewelry very nicely, and looks very pretty sitting on my dresser.

Cependant, un peu fragile, les petits bourgeons sont souds, et l’un d’eux tait tomb lors du dballage (je ne peux pas renvoyer car c’est pour un cadeau). Cela dit, livraison certes trs rapide (reu plus tt que prvu) mais emballage vraiment atroce, l’article n’tant presque pas protg. Ce n’est pas la 1e fois que je reois un article brivement emball par AMAZON, c’est vraiment dommage : je pense que je rflchirai dsormais 2 fois avant de commander des produits un peu fragile sur ce site. J’aurai prfr avoir mon article la date prvue et non endommag.

I ordered this for my sister and to say the least we are both deliighted with it. It is bigger than expected but is of sturdy construction. Beautiful gun metal colour makes it modern. Holds a lot of chains, bracelets and the ring dish is much larger than appears on the picture so able to easily see which ring you are looking for out of many.

The finish is excellent – neutral dark colour and it does the job very well.
