About Umbra
Umbra is a global housewares product design company which is bringing thought and creativity to everyday items through original design.
It is a Toronto-based homeware design company born over 30 years ago when graphic designer, Paul Rowan, couldn’t find a nice window shade to hang in his apartment window. So, he made one and people liked it. He soon teamed up with childhood friend, Les Mandelbaum, and Umbra (in Latin, “shade”) was born. Les and Paul began reimagining everyday items into modern ware.
Today, Umbra is recognised all over the world for bringing intelligent design to everyday items. An in-house team of international designers allows us to come up with original design that speaks universally and personally to a broad customer base. The journey that started in Toronto continues- Umbra designs can be found in over 120 countries.

Many of the other hangers are not very high which means the necklaces need to be doubled and so on. Not the case at all with this one – it is high enough to hang full length necklaces and also an elegant piece to look at.
Really pleased with this tree looks good as a stand alone or with necklaces and bracelets on no more knotted chains.

The product itself is nice and very sturdy, expected quality for the price, however, in came in a plastic rap. How is this reasonable? It was supposed to be a gift, now I need to go find a box some how that fits it properly.

Bought as a gift for my niece. She was very pleased. It’s bigger than it looks but that’s not a complaint. It’s good quality and looks good.
Looks great and jewelry displayed artfully. It won’t hold more than 3 necklaces or would look cluttered but base can hold many smaller pieces.
Nice shape and size, Im not keen on the colour but nothing else available. Good height for hanging the necklaces.
It really adds an elegant touch to my room! I love the varying levels because I have a lot of different length necklaces/bracelets. It has a soft padded underneath so no scratches on my wood furniture! Could be a little more grippy though when Im cleaning things off as it moves a bit too easily, but day to day open/close the drawers its perfectly stable!

This is the nicest jewellery stand I have ever seen and is currently pride of place on my bedside. It is exactly as the picture and is happily storing my 18″ necklaces no problem. It has a nice weight to it and I can’t see it being knocked over too easily.

Love the look of the organizer. It is a feature on my dresser. Lots of places to drape necklaces, earrings and brackets. But if you have a lot jewelry you may not have enough room for everything.

I’m so glad I bought this! A lot bigger than I thought and I have received tonnes of compliments on it. My necklaces never get tangled and I never lose my rings anymore, I’m so happy with it!
I bought this jewellery tree for my necklaces and dangling earrings and it’s great! I don’t have tons so they look lovely on there and the bowl for rings and studs is handy too. I’ve given it four stars because it would be nice if it came in a variety of colours to choose from. Other than that, it’s great.

Overall a good product, seems pretty durable and has a very sturdy base. Some of the pegs are a little too slanted so some jewelry could slip off but overall it’s cute and a good purchase.

Well built, sturdy product that will last a lifetime. Lots of room to hang various jewelry. I got it for my girlfriend as a gift and she keeps all of her items on it. I use one of the top “hooks” for my Bluetooth headphones.

Well made, big, and very pretty to display your necklaces. Sadly a few of my necklaces are very long and so a few lay in the cup of the leaf, but that isn’t a deal breaker for this item, it just means I have long chain necklaces.

Looks exactly as pictured! The ‘branch’ is sturdy and seems well made. The only issue is that the base isn’t very heavy, so some heavier pieces of jewelry can cause it to start to tip over. If you stick to simpler necklaces though it works well.

It looks a bit plastic-y and the thick, darker part underneath the leaf at the bottom actually is plastic. I wouldn’t have paid the price that Umbra are selling it for if I’d known that the product wouldn’t look like it’s very good quality. However, when you cover it in your jewellery it actually looks quite pretty and you can’t really notice that it looks like plastic.
I’m not a huge fan of jewelry, but I do wear earrings and need a place to put my wedding rings and few necklaces on occasion. Rather than have the few items I do own get all tangled up in a dish I ordered this smallish tree. I’m so happy I did! I have maybe 7 pairs of earrings, three bracelets, and four necklaces on it now, as well as some post earrings sitting in the dish. It’s very pretty and sturdy. I could see how it may not be big enough for someone with much more jewelry to accommodate, but for my needs it’s perfect.
It does look very pretty and holds a lot of jewellery, but I do feel the price is a little high.

Larger than I expected which was a nice surprise. It is a gift so I haven’t put any jewellery on it but it looks really really nice and I’m sure my mum will love it.
I really like this jewelry tree: it looks a bit delicate and ethereal in its design intent with the curved orchid branch and buds stemming off. In reality, I’ve found it to be sturdy and strong with a weighted base to prevent the jewelry tree from tipping. There’s also a felt bottom on the base in case you’re sitting it on a hard/smooth surface to prevent scratches or noise if it’s slid across the surface. I have a necklace hanging on nearly every branch and the longer necklaces I have pooling in the leaf base (necklaces too long to hang and dangle freely). Also, I bought this with one other item. The jewelry tree was packaged in a plastic bag inside the larger cardboard box that housed both items I bought, so I was a bit surprised it didn’t come in its own box to protect it a bit more but it survived unscathed with no bent or missing branches/buds.
Pretty and elegant, it is much bigger than I thought it was, but I didn’t look closely at the measurements before I ordered it. Its made of nice sturdy material

I liked the style of this jewelry tree and bought it for myself. It is solidly made and does not fall or tip over. Also, it looks nice on a dressing table with or without jewellery on it. The finish is excellent – neutral dark colour and it does the job very well. It is quite tall and so accommodates necklaces very well and the leaf shape at the base is smooth and a good size for watches and rings etc, without things spilling over. Really nice design & practical too. Will buy again for presents for others.
