This is a game changer and saves having to use my shredder. Love that it’s wider than some on the market and comes with 6 ink refills. You don’t realise how much use you’ll get out of it till you have one. Can highly recommend

Don’t really know if it works yet and to be honest I don’t want to find out! It is simple to use and on inspection of the results it looks like it does work but time will tell.
Does the job
So, after reading the negative reviews on this and similar products I was a bit apprehensive, but that was unfounded. I have used it on letters, envelopes and amazon labels. When the ink is dry it does not rub off, does not fade, so far I’d say it is perfect for the job, the only thing I didn’t like was the price. Apart from that, great product.

I’ve tried a few iD rollers in the past and this one is the best!
It’s nice and wide so you don’t have to roll over and over again to cover your personal details.
It also has the added bonus of three refills . The ones I’ve had in the past have dried up after a couple of months so I expect this roller to last a reasonable time. It’s a little pricier than some but hopefully worth it.
It does what it says
It was smaller than expected, which is good and easy to store. Perfectly adequate and does and excellent job of covering addresses. If in doubt roll over twice. I wish I had bought one before as I dislike using the noisy cumbersome shredder which I will now just keep for banking paperwork.

What a great little device! So easy to use, just roll over the confidential bits on letters etc and then straight in the recycling bin.
Much better than a shredder that keeps jamming and getting bits of paper and dust everywhere.
ID Protectio
I had an address blanker but it was one of the first out and only did inch about 20mm. when I saw these doing 2.5inch 6cm I thought I would give it a go, Glad I did, it covers well with large text it can take a second pass, but with the old one you had to do several passes to cover the address. you get several refills but it will be a long time before you need to apply them, it dries fast so no need to wait.

Really easy to use. Did 2 or 3 turns. Tried wiping it off and it just blur’s so you still cannot see what’s beneath the ink. Must just need some time to dry. Now I don’t have to rip off glued labels anymore. Yay

We all now to shred personal documents for waste but sometimes forget. I’ve been using this since day 1 and automatically blank out our name address on correspondence. Would highly recommend
Good for obscuring confidential informatio
Well made piece of equipment for confidential papers. Easy to use to cover addresses and other information before recycling. Roller pad comes already inked with 6 spare ink cartridges. Don’t understand why some people have had problems operating it, would certainly recommend.
Hides the address easily
This was not the cheapest, but looking at the reviews I think it will end up working out cheaper as it comes with lots of refills. It is covering my address well and is easy to use. No more shredding!

I was dubious about this item but pleasantly surprised when I used it. I had thought that it would not cover sensitive data fully. Works exactly as described and much cheaper and more eco friendly than buyer a shredder. Can just use the item on your sensitive data and throw the papers in recycling.

Works well
I got this a few weeks ago and am really impressed. Hides addresses on most types of paper easily. Sometimes you have to leave it to dry a bit or you may get ink on your hands but that is obvious. I am not sure how long the ink will last, but it comes with refills so hopefully will be easy to fill up! I have recommended to quite a few friends and family members as a great way to keep addresses secure.

Let’s start with the only negative I have found after 2 month use, don’t be like me,don’t handle the area printed whilst wet. Perhaps a faster drying ink would make this perfect. Covers amazingly well, just the right width, every household should have one.

I love how wide it is so usually it covers both the name and address in one, and it actually blacks out on all kinds of materials / ink types (unlike others we’ve tried). Most importantly, it’s refillable, so it’s a bigger investment up front but then will last for a long time! Very pleased. Bought a second one — one for the living room and one for the kitchen. I also bought a ton of refills upfront to secure a multi-buy discount when initially purchasing the roller.

Brilliant little identity theft protection roller device
Excellent value, excellent coverage, small compact and so easy to use, not at all messy. A great way to save time.
I’ve tried out several of these before from other brands, in different shapes and sizes, different effectiveness, durability etc. I keep coming back to this one because it’s so easy to hold, use, wide roller and when it runs out of ink, you don’t have the throw the whole thing away (like others) … just replace the ink cartridgee, which also easy to do. Also goes over and stays on the “window” in those window envelopes you don’t even want to open to get to your address. Wouldn’t by another other model now. Wish they’d do a double pack of rollers with ink replacements as a bundle.

Works well
I am very happy with this purchase, I have been sceptical in the past and always shredded sensitive documents. The roller from Vantamo is most efficient at obliterating text etc, I even found that it is as good on glossy surfaces, all you need to do is let it dry for an hour or so and then it does not rub off.

This just needs 1 roll over your name and address for it to be hidden completely. It certainly saves lots of time shredding letters etc.

Great wee device! Always hated trying to get labels off parcels before recycling and this solves the problem. Good coverage generally. Plastic coated labels may require a second go and I leave mine to dry before putting in the recycling/bin, otherwise it can smear a bit, but otherwise does what it says in the tin! If I was to be picky, I quite often manage to get ink on my fingers, as getting the cover off cleanly is a skill which I sometimes don’t master, as the top is tight, although to be completely fair this is obviously a good thing!! Has lasted quite a while and I haven’t as yet had to use the little top-up ink thingies. Seller contacted me by email to ensure delivery and to ensure I had no problems. I would assume great after sales service!

Did exactly what it said, obscures addresses so a label or letter can be safely disposed of. Like others, get a lot of deliveries with sticky labels on plastic packaging. It’s quite hard if not impossible to pull off so either snip it up or don’t bother. With this, a quick roll and address now illegally and can be disposed of.

I love how easy it is to use. I had been removing all labels with my name and address and putting them through the shredder. The downside to that was the sticky from the label wasn’t doing the shredder much good. This little identity theft roller is absolutely brilliant. This roller is easy to use, just roll it over any sensitive data and it will effectively cover it up. Comes with 6 spare ink capsules, so should have a fairly long life. I’m not sure whether or not you can order more ink capsules when they run out.
Fab id protection stamp
This stamp is so easy to use and conceals all the information I want concealing. It comes with 6 refill bottles so I am sure these will last for a really long time as a couple of rolls with the stamp covers everything. The only slight negative is that the ink does not dry that quickly, on first use I had ink all over my fingers which did wash off quite easily though, overall good value for money and a great product which means I can bin the shredder!!! There is also a card in the box which entitles you to a free book download and an extra gift which is a nice touch.

Thus is my wife’s favourite Xmas present. She previously used to sit and rip into tiny pieces, any item with an address or details on it. She is now gleefully waiting on junk mail arriving just so she can use it.

Call compact & effective
Having read some reviews I was worried that this would not cover sensitive information it it does. If something is very bold I run it across a second time & in a different direction. Having recently downsized I no longer had the space for the cross shredder. This is so compact, I keep it in the drawer where I open the post. Always handy. Great on delivery boxes too. Something a shredder couldn’t cope with. Great!

Very simple way of obliterating personal details on Documents, Envelopes, or Parcels before they are put in the Rubbish Bin. Does a very good job very quickly. I have purchased a number of extra ones already this year as Xmas Stocking Fillers for various family members. Highly recommended.

Use it on everything, really does cover sensitive stuff. Does warn that not suitable for certain types of paper etc like glossy. But having said that I give it a go and has really cut down on shredding and trying to remove labels. Really worth getting in my opinion.

We use to struggle to shred letter heads and amazon parcels with our names and address. This was my wife’s idea and it works great. No need to shred any letters and parcels with sensitive info. Good buy
Does not work on plastic labels
This is very easy to use. Not had cause to refill yet, we have used it a lot, so good value for money.
Does not work on plastic labels and does not always cover some others which ai had to redo once the first application had dried.
Nevertheless, much quicker than using a marker pen.

I ordered this product expecting it to be rubbish but how wrong was I. I followed the instructions to only go over addresses etc once and it works brilliantly. My only regret is I wish I’d ordered one sooner after hours of cutting up things.
As a test, I swiped once over the operating instructions for another Amazon purchase. One swipe was enough to cover the text completely. I have also tried it on more sensitive post and 2 or 3 swipes was enough to reassure me that my data would be safe to dispose of in my normal recycling bin.

Provides peace of mind!
This is such a handy tool to have! I keep it with all my files / bills and can safely black out any sensitive information or addresses etc. I also use it on any parcel delivery labels before I put the cardboard in the recycling bin. Just to be safe I go back and forth with the roller just in case any info could be detected when the paper is held up to the light.

I can’t give this 5 stars because it fails to permanently hide some of the information on certain documents. Always leave it to dry before disposing of anything you cover up because some won’t stay hidden.

I love this. So easy to use and save so much time. I usually spend a fair bit of time shredding but with this I can put the papers straight in recycling without having to worry. This very handy for covering up key bits of information on documents before discarding them. I have even started using them on packages which I recycle and leave outside of the how to be collected – reason being is that on occassion if the box is large enough somebody pinches them from outside my house! It works well. Changing ink refills is a piece of cake too (although the purchase of additional refills are a tad on the expensive side). I only wish the ink would dry a bit quicker. That said, it’s a minor criticism for a product which has left me less anxious about identity theft occurring on our discarded documents.

It takes up less space than a shredding machine and it’s easier to recycle sheets of paper than shreddings which would make a mess. I keep the Vantamo next to the letter opener knife so I can do the whole operation in one go! What’s not to like?

What’s there to say. It does exactly what it says. Rollers smoothly. Good ink coverage. I got the sexy white one and it’s very stylish. I didn’t realise how much of a pain peeling labels off and tearing bits off letters and envelopes off was. They were building up waiting to be got rid off. Waited years to get round to getting one of these. Should of done it sooner. Is very satisfying rollering. Rollered everything. Covers Amazon labels very well. Just pop the cover off and roll sideways. Comes with 3 refills and an ebook thingy. Excellent customer service. Prompt delivery. The ad said ‘choose us’ which I admit did sway me while deciding and I’m glad I did ‘choose them’ nice quality item.

I ordered two of these, one for me and one for my Mother who is 90 and can’t handle a shredder any more. Firstly there are negative comments in here that say it doesn’t cover up as described. IT DOES – but you must read the accompanying instructions as there are certain paper types (e.g.glossy or super absorbent) it won’t work on.
Stick to the instructions and you won’t go wrong. Fast, easy to use, effective and good value for money plus you get ink refills.

Easy to use on black types text.
Easy to use and does the trick on black typed details. For handwritten, different colour or I would think large text it would not have the best result. That said most of what I’m using it for it’s great. Love that I have some refills and a dual pack to give to another member of the family to use. Danke
Not as good as a shredder , but MUCH smaller !
This is ideal for obscuring names and address on letters etc if you do not want to shred the whole thing. It is not designed to obliterate whole pages of sensitive materiel , bank statements etc. That is what shredding machines are for.
The ink is not so good on ‘shiny’ or less absorbent types of paper.

Fantastic item, I’ve had this for a while now and I use it everyday on letters, envelopes and anything else that may have my personal details on. We have an upstairs office where we’re always disposing of old office paperwork so have one there. Enjoyable to use.
What’s good is it’s easy to use and cuts down on a lot of shredding. The only issue I have found is that for some heavy type on documents, it doesn’t cover those so shredding is still required. It’s good for a lot of letters or documents though so worth the purchase price. I do enjoy using it but wish it covered the documents with a heavier type face.

Fantastic product and super easy to use. We used to rip the addresses off our envelopes and letters and then shred them and recycled the paper. This is much easier and lets you recycle the whole thing which has to be a good thing.
This Protection Roller is an essential piece of kit that I would not be without. It protects my identity so easily and safely. Its simple to use, just roll it over your personal information and hey presto, you are invisible to those who want to steal your info: Must make them really mad and every time I use it I have to titter to myself because I’ve got one up on them.
Its well made and easy to refill too so that’s an added bonus. Brilliant purchase at an excellent price.
Vantamo ID theft protection Roller does exactly what it says. The coverage is good and I use it on everything paper based with my address on that goes for recycling. In the past I’ve had endless scraps of paper with addresses on to shred, but this has given my shredder a deserved break and means I can recycle whole pieces of paper and boxes. Practical, inexpensive way to deal with documents.
Does what it says. I strive to go paperless but inevitably some paper documents arrive anyway. Did not wish to replace the shredder -just loathe those things – and this fits the bill. Haven’t had to refill yet, despite having dealt with a backlog of documents, so can’t comment on that. If there is any doubt about legibility remaining in certain cases, you can always apply it to other side of paper or apply again in different direction. Result : paper can be disposed of in appropriate container, so you don’t end up with stacks of ‘hamster bedding’.

I love this roller stamp. It’s really easy to use and it only took one roll over confidential information to obliterate it I’ve only used it a couple of times so can’t comment on how long ink lasts, however it comes with 6 ink refills. It was competitively priced, packaged well, delivered within 2 days – all his AND it saves time standing over the shredder. I would happily recommend this product.
After reading reviews of several Identity Theft Roller Stamps this one had the best reviews. I have used it several times now and am very pleased with it. I held up an envelope to the light after I had run the roller just once over my details and could not see my name and address from the front or the back, so will be very useful for items that are awkward to shred. Am very impressed. I don’t know how long the ink will last, just have to wait and see. The stamp was well packaged and came promptly.
Value for money and easy to use
If I could give this 10 stars I would. It was delivered on time and well packaged. It’s so easy to use and saves time ripping names and addresses off packages and envelopes, one or two swipes of this roller and your identity is totally blacked out from any mail. I’m telling all my friends to get one of these.
Update I’ve just bought one of these for my mum and she thinks it’s great, no need for shredding just blank out with one swipe. Highly recommend
Take it from me, I rarely leave reviews – but this little gadget deserves one. Not the cheapest one to buy, but it comes already with ink in, and 3 refills – so you can’t complain really. Having tried several identity theft gadgets (and still ending up using a felt pen as well) this one is excellent. Just one swipe and it completely covers your personal details. Even those little grey plastic bags from China, just one swipe and it saves you fiddling about trying to cut off the label (which you can’t then shred as it’s sticky). I’ve even used it directly on a plastic film containing my name and address. I will be buying more of these for Christmas Presents as I think this one is the best.

It was much smaller than I had expected which is great as it sits on my desk nicely. Really easy to use and very affective. Its saved on shredding parts pf documents that have personal data on so helps with the environment.
Sorting the post was a bit of a chore and it often built up a bit because I putt it aside which I didn’t like. The recycling here don’t let you put shredded paper in your bin so things with names on, etc were hard to dispose of ethically. I saw this and thought I’d try it. It’s excellent! I even enjoy using it (easily pleased!) and sort the post out straight away now because it’s so easy to deal with it all. Hides all details with one pass. Highly recommended.
Great little tool
So far, so good. This works as stated on matte surfaces. You need to leave it to dry to make sure it doesn’t rub off as papers are all made differently but that’s no hardship. Does the job as far as I’m concerned. You could use a permanent marker over addresses that are in large bold type but these do stink! This is certainly easier than shredding though I would advise always shredding financial or legal documents.
This little device is excellent. It really does conceal all your personal details securely. I can now get rid of unwanted paperwork without the arduous task of shredding.

Going forward it will be a brilliant piece of kit, as I have used it a few times now. I have quite a backlog of papers that has built up, so I think I need to use a proper shredder, otherwise I will run out of ink and/or damage the unit. I have a shredder, I will just have to bite the bullet and set aside some time – a lot of time – and get it done. For anything that comes in the door now though, I will be able to use the stamp.

Wish I’d found this earlier, would’ve saved all the scraping and scratching off address labels! One little tip to those concerned about being able to ‘see through’ the stamp, all you need to do is swipe one down and one sideways and the address should be properly obliterated.

For some reason this is strangely satisfying to use .. I’m finding it very handy – I have a shredder in an upstairs office but I can never be bothered to take letters etc up there and when I do it gets jammed if they’re more than a couple of pages thick.. and then creates a mess when I empty it.. I was using a marker pen.. but you can sometimes see through the ink. I love the fact I can just quickly swipe this across and dump things straight into the recycling. You really can’t read the text at all after applying the stamp. Not sure how long the ink will last.. but if its an unreasonably short period i’ll be back with an update.. but for now it’s great! (Quick update – it came with 3 spare ink cartridges and with normal household periodic use I’m still using the original that came in the roller 6 months on .. so no problem with using too much ink)

Very quick delivery, very impressed with the extra ink supplied, I bought
a protection roller stamp from another supplier, but found it didn’t really hide
the information. Thought I would try this one, and glad I did. Easy to use and it
compleatly covers all of the information……no more dragging the shredder out.

Fantastic little product. This randomly came up on a search for something else and caught my eye. I hate shredding and always end up with a big pile to sort out. I’ve had this for just a few days and cleared down a huge backlog of filing and shredding. My husband too. It doesn’t work on high gloss paper or bright ink but it’s great on the majority of print.
