I am disabled and live in rented accommodation which came with carpets which looked like a husky had used Nair on itself then rubbed it off on the floor. The place was filthy . I did what I could with my heavy hoover and a bit of sponge and water but it never had that clean feeling . I decided i’d buy this and oh , OH , what a good purchase of mine . The pure dirt and filth that has come out made my skin crawl . The carpets now feel like they are clean . I then decided to try it on my charity shop bought sofa and yet again , I was disgusted at my filth. I then got carried away prancing round the house using this on every fabric surface that would fit in the washing machine. It’s fab .
It’s lightweight and for a disabled person like myself it’s easy enough to carry . It comes apart for very easy cleaning . You can even take the brush head apart without tools to clean which is fab!
Whether you have kids , pets or just a need to know your house is clean . Buy this , you won’t regret it . Also comes with a 3 year warranty which is nice .
Bought this as an addition to a larger carpet cleaner just for small spills and doggy accidents. Has come in useful a couple of times already. Not got any negative things to say about it, does what I need it for and when you have 5 dogs in the house there’s going to be the occasional accident..
I have had this a few months and today the dog trailed the so much mud through the house, I thought we were going to have to replace the carpets! But the Vax had the mud out in no time! The photo is taken 1 minute after using it so lots of bits are yet to dry, but this machine is a life saver!
Didn’t have high hopes for this but it works wonders!
It is advertised as a spot cleaner so don’t assume (like me) it would be easy to clean the stairs or a large rug
However, if the trigger is sparingly used, and you just want to give the stairs a lighter wash, you can make the tank last for about 1/2 a stairway before refilling!

The first one that arrived was not working the water leaked everywhere so got in touch with Amazon & they were brilliant sent me replacement next day & I sent fault one back the second one works great we got it just to do the stairs & it was brilliant very happy
Bought this as a last ditch attempt to clean the upholstery on an Ikea sofa. I’d tried every manual method known to man and a few I invented myself. Nothing worked , the sofa was destined for the great sofa graveyard in the sky……. well hell actually… the material attracted dirt so badly……….. Anywhoooooo. bought this Vax Spotshifter thingy and spend about an hour on the sofa, using the prescribed cleaning solution made by VAX and hey presto…… The sofa looks like brand new. I nearly bought a more attractive sounding product with lower power and I’m glad I didn’t, this sucks hard enough to land you in hospital if pointed at the wrong area. it is simply brilliant and works better than it says ‘on the tin’. Car and Mattresses are next. Seriously don’t be tempted by other ones, this does the job and I got it for a great price too of around 120.00 Euro. Worth every cent. I might marry it.
Have waited to submit a review until I used the machine. I have the Vax full size machine but although excellent I find it very heavy to manoevre now Im elderly. I live in a bungalow so did not require it for stairs but have found the thresholds from my kitchen and living room had got very dirty due to constant traffic so thought the Spot Washer might serve to do these small areas. Have found it ideal for the purpose and has cleaned these areas very well, both being roughly the size of stairs and I shall do my passage way and hall in due course. I have a cat and so I do get a lot of fine hair in the carpet which it has picked up. I will be able to do most of my carpets a bit at a time and the flex is a good length to reach my wall sockets. Do recommend, quite light, and easy to set up. Can recommend
I bought this vax spot cleaner so I could clean my sofa and stair carpet instead of paying a cleaning company over the odds. I got 3 of these dirty tanks out of my sofa and another 3 out of my stair carpet.
The machine is very easy to setup and use, the cable is a decent length and there is a self clean port for the hose so once you finish you are able to flush the hose through so its clean and ready for the next use…especially ideal if you’ve had to clean vomit or any other foul stain.
I read a few reviews saying their dirty water unit was leaking onto the floor, I have not had that issue with my unit.
Very happy with my purchase and it has done a great job, much better than when I had my sofa professionally cleaned and my stair carpet looks like new.
Cats with hairballs can mean vomit, unfortunate but a reality.
Needed to clean a rug primarily but also found it was quite up to the job of doing a sofa seat as well.
The unit is compact, easily fits under the stairs and is easy to use.

Why all the others don`t do this by default has always baffled me.
The suction power wasn`t disappointing, no worse than anything else I`ve tried,
things are left damp to the touch, as expected.
It did what was expected and cleaned the rug adequately on the initial trial run I did when it first arrived.
One point of concern is the way the water tank is joined at the base, it appears to be heat sealed and doesn`t seem to be very well done (or designed) in my opinion, a potential source of leaks in the future ?
(This could explain why some people are seeing leaking off the bat, something I will keep my eye on for sure – but I won`t necessarily be leaving clean water standing in it while it`s in storage….not at first anyway)
The hose doesn`t appear to be easily removable in case it splits and it isn`t *that* flexible, so hopefully that won`t be an issue.
Not a lot to say about it really other than it worked as expected with no major issues concerning design, functionality or capability but if anything should occur I will be sure to report back.
I already had a full upright which was WAY too big and incredibly annoying and awkward to clean since getting rid of a lot of carpeting here, moved on to a smaller handheld unit which worked well enough for spot stains on the floor but not really suited to upholstery…
this one seems to be the best in-between option if you don`t have large areas of carpet to clean.
I paid 99 rather than the MRP of ~129 but felt as though it should have been around the 70 mark….I`m just getting more critical in my old age.
In purchasing this machine I was looking for something easy to set up, use and put away and this machine is brilliant for all 3. If you have a young dog in the house then this machine comes highly recommended. Exactly as it says brilliant for spots on the carpet, aka accidents! I have had an upright vax before and the portability makes this machine much more user friendly. It is also less noisy than the upright we had but still gives a good blast. I found a very helpful YouTube video for user tips on set up and also the one question I had on connecting for hose self clean. This by the way is in my opinion a brilliant feature – hold the hose in the connector switch on and flush the hose clean in a few seconds. The machine is lighter than I thought it would be and excellent quality build – also absolutely no leaks. Some of the reviews I read mentioned this and I have not had a problem at all. I don’t normally write reviews put feel strongly that this marvellous little machine deserves a 5 star review.
This is absolutely brilliant for stairs. It’s really easy to use and really has some suction considering how compact it is, fits perfectly under the stairs or in a cupboard and what I think is really excellent is that it has a nozzle cleaner. I have used it on carpet, Tiles and Lino, it comes up trumps on all three.
This is my 8 year old sons mattress, honestly it is less than 6months old and the amount of spillages has been ridiculous. It looked disgusting.

Reading the reviews on here helped me make the choice too buy this cleaner and oh my god!!! It’s brilliant! It works just as it says, I was actually quite shocked with the dirt of the water that was lifted! Leaving my carpets fresh and so clean again! I used on stuburn worn stair carpets and it’s totally lifted the dirt from them leaving them like new! Such a happy buy!
When my husband spilled ink on my new carpet I thought I would never get it out, new carpet, or at best specialist cleaning at high cost. I’m not going to lie it took a lot of applications, I mean at least 6 but this little machine is absolutely brilliant, I couldn’t believe how much it extracted from my carpet, it’s not perfect but when you see what it was like to what it s now there’s no comparison. So im really not one to leave reviews unless I’m really unhappy about something or I’m super happy with the product which is very rare! But anyway a few days ago I paid for a professional carpet cleaner to come in and do my sofa and living room carpet (which cost more than this little machine!) But we since noticed a few stains on the hall way carpet and didn’t want to pay out the hefty price tag of a professional to come out so I found this after seeing some reviews! I’d already tried like the can foamers to try budge these stains but they wasn’t budging whatsoever. First attempt of this machine they have since come out first attempt!!! I only done a small patch where the stains was and since leaving it to dry my carpet was 2 different colors! Which I didn’t realize it was so bad so now I’ve just gone and done the whole hallway and it really didn’t take me long at all. I’m super super super happy!!! Definitely recommend to anyway!
This cleaner is nothing short of brilliant! So far, I’ve used it only in the car, but am dying to try it in the house too! The car seats were looking a little tired, the back seat spotted with old food and drink stains, but this cleaner took them straight out! The seats were very wet at one point, and I was concerned that maybe it would leave behind water marks, but I was worried over nothing. I just kept going over with the vac until no more water came out, and it was done – and no water marks!
And a gross bonus is watching the dirty water tank fill up! 🙂
It’s about as loud as a regular vacuum cleaner, and isn’t very heavy at all. It’s very nice and compact and easily sat in the rear footwells of the car while I did the back seat. It also comes with a 250ml bottle of solution, so unless you’re doing the whole house, it should be plenty.
It also has a self-cleaning mode, so another opportunity to watch the dirty water tank fill up! 🙂
If I had to find a fault, perhaps the hose that connects the hand unit to the cleaner could be a little more flexible and a little longer, but that’s being REALLY picky. It really is brilliant and I have absolutely no regrets buying it. The price did feel a little high at the time, but now that I’ve had a chance to use it, it’s definitely worth every penny!
This carpet went down in 2016; I’ve had 2 professional company cleans in the last 3 years and regularly scrub by hand with Vanish carpet spray. This patch in my bedroom near to the doorway but where rugs don’t cover really suffers as it’s a high traffic area. I have 4 tiny dogs and myself using this room more than any other room in the house. Although the dogs haven’t wet/messed on this carpet (installed after house training) we walk over it constantly. I didn’t have high hopes that the brown staining would come out, when scrubbed by hand it’s always stayed noticeable. The after photo was taken following my first attempt at using the machine and it was still damp, but since it’s dried (it’s not nighttime so not able to photograph accurately) but it’s like new carpet again! Im really pleased with this purchase. It comes with a small bottle of cleaning solution which was only enough for this area and the after use machine rinse so I’ve ordered a 5 litre bottle of cleaner. The hose rinse is really simple to use after cleaning with the machine. It’s practically assembled when it arrives, instructions are simple to follow. I activated my 2 year guarantee before using it today. The cord is a good length. It is a loud machine and did make my dogs bark, however they bark at most noisy things being rescues. It’s going to be perfect for my hallway rugs/runners which take quite a beating with dogs coming in and out the garden all day. It’s not a significantly heavy machine when empty, and I like that the chambers come off to carry separately to the sink – being disabled with a severe back injury I was worried I wouldn’t manage it, but I did, and also it stores easily on a shelf. There will be no stopping me once the cleaning solution arrives tomorrow.
I am absolutely astonished at the results. I used it on our matress that had never been cleaned in 5 years and the before and after are impressive!!! I had to empty the dirty water tank and refill the clean tank about 4 times to get it done and it took me about 4-5 hours intensive work (including pre-treating the surface). It was just brilliant. My matress was awfully disgusting and now it smells and feels fresh!
I bought a big spot washer specific detergent (you can find many options on amazon) but I pre-treated the matress by diluiting some Vanish brilliant white in some warm water and spraying all over the surface and let it sit for about 30 minute before starting to clean with the machine. I have to clarify that this is not recommended practice by the manufacturer but I wanted to get back a nice, as white and clean as possible surface!
This machine worked even better than my expectations, I watched loads of videos and read loads of reviews about spot washers before buying, fianlly I decided for this one because a I got a good discount during Black Friday and because of the extended warranty.
I add a little tape around the noozle to avoid loosing any suction from fissure, I knew before buying that this machine is for domestic use only and is not as powerful compared to other machines on the market, but it was good enough to do the job amazingly well for me. Next stop is clean the car in spring, I can’t wait!!!
Images attached show the results and I am definitely very happy! I imagine it’ll be amazing on fresh spills but this was second hand and has been covered with a throw until now, so the stains have sat for a while. Under 10 mins to read up and assemble, 15 mins to do the foot stool and I’m now searching the house for furniture to clean before I move on to the car.
It is very light to carry, the hose is a bit stiff to manoeuvre initially but it is easy to use and does exactly what it says!
This is a brilliant little piece of kit. I needed something compact to fit in cupboard for easy access. My house is busy with two children and two dogs. I was so amazed the amount of dirt picked up, the water was black! Ewww ! How embarrassing! So please I’ve now done two rugs my stairs and landing! A lot of bending but totally worth it.
I think my hubby thinks I’m a nutcase but honestly love this product. Just because not to spray too much on your sofa, like I did as it took a good few sections to get it to touch dry! But that was my fault not the machines haha.
If you are thinking about it get this one. I hardly ever leave reviews but this is a no brainer.
I’m loving my Spot Cleaner so far. I had to get rid of my very heavy Vax upright Cleaner as, although it was easy to use on the main carpets, it was too heavy for me to cope with cleaning the stair carpet. This lightweight Cleaner is much better for me.
Easy to assemble and use. Very efficient – I bought it for the stairs – I bought a larger one for the room carpets. It works really well. Picture shows the dirt from one staircase! Good price too.
I love how easy it is to use, it works really well and love that there’s a 2 year warranty included.
I can’t comment on how well this lasts as I’ve only just got mine but so far so good. Spruced up my sofas and is just what I was looking for. Also a really reasonable price compared to similar product by different brands.

They really need to fix the fact that as soon as you put in the full clean water tank the water pours out of the bottom of the machine!!
I thought that I had made a mistake in putting the water tank in to the body of the machine but unfortunately not. Sent the machine back.
I wasn’t sure about vax spotwash however I have to say that I am surprise, its easy to use, very useful tools to have when you have a dogs and small kids. I am satisfied.
This thing is great. Our sofa was looking a bit grubby but I really didn’t want the hassle and expense of taking off the covers to take to the cleaners.
On tackling it with this, I was just stunned at the colour of the water coming out. Dark grey, almost black… Yuk! It makes me wonder how unhealthy the thing I sit in every day was.
Does it now look like new? Well no, but it certainly looks a lot better.
I’ve also used it on the car seats and carpets and wow, years of grime coming out and they now look fantastic.
Spill red wine on the carpet? No worries, get this on it. It’s also cleaned soot spots from an open fire which only tend to me made worse cleaning with a cloth.
Downsides? This really is loud. I’m very protective of my hearing so wear ear defenders when using this.
I’ve also found it doesn’t make much difference if you don’t use detergent but I guess it depends what you are cleaning.
Does the job didn’t realise how dirty the water would get we never come in the house with shoes on but carpets have been down a few years now and was fed up off scrubbing patches by hand with having kids sometimes things get spilled juice etc so got this it’s really easy to use. only filling the tank to the correct measurements was a bit tricky with the opening been at the side off the container would off been better at the top but it works so good that’s not a big deal really. I used it to clean hallway (high traffic area) and has shown in pic off the carpet I left a patch on the left side unwashed to see the difference very pleased with it. Also it’s quiet a small machine and easy to store away when not using I keep mine under kitchen sink. It comes with a small bottle 250mls so would buy more as if doing large areas like I did it uses the full 250ml bottle in one use. Carpets felt a bit damp after but didn’t take too long too fully dry about just over an hour I noticed it was dry again and the machine has a self cleaning to clean out the pipe after use which I thought was a good idea
I don’t normally bother with reviews, but this machine is one of the best purchases I have made.
I got it to clean my suite and it looks brand new, I wished I took pictures before and after to prove it.
I then proceeded to clean my stair carpet.
To say I’m impressed by the results is an understatement.
I now have the cleaner bug and looking for more to clean.
This was a bit of a mystery when 1st used simply because I didn’t spot trigger under the tool. Once I took time to read instructions properly it worked brilliantly. My puppy had a tummy upset and the mess was horrendous but the vax took out the stain and smell without a problem. I have a Vax maxi which is amazing but this little machine is small and easy to pull out when accidents happe
What a little machine this is. It brought back to life a dirty old foot stool i got free on facebook marketplace. Easy to use and really does what they say it does. I even tackled the car with this, we have 4 kids so you can imagine the state of our back seats. 45 minutes with the vax and they are now like new again. Simply amazing. Don’t hesitate.
Nice and and compact. I’ve a dog which is why I wanted this for muddy paws on my light coloured carpet. I found it easy to set up. It took a few rounds of doing a dirty patch on my carpet and I can still see dirt unfortunately. I think this is ok for small spills etc but don’t expect it to properly clean your carpet as it won’t in my case. Still glad I got it though.
Definitely a 4*. At first I didn’t know how to use this. I didn’t know what the liquid was for and I didn’t know the steps to it. I have 3 cats and they do pee on my carpet and I have a car in which the seats have stains on them. I tried it out at first and all I did was use water and didn’t know what the solution was for. It didn’t show any results but in fact was more worse.
After going through the instructions more carefully, I realised I done it wrong and followed the steps carefully. As a result, I was able to clean off the cat pee as well as clean the stains on my car and the results were promising. The suction power was good and got rid of good amount of stains. I’m terms of it being lightweight, I would say it is not majorly heavy, it is something that can be carried about.
Used it for 2 weeks consecutively and I am loving this so far. Not sure how long this will last. But good results so far!
Couldn’t have bought better. I only have carpet on my stairs and landing and have been very reluctant to spend a fortune on one of today’s vacuums. Hey a dustpan and brush worked in my childhood But too many years of sweet coffee being carried upstairs has made me finally give in. After reading the feedback of how the spot cleaner can do stairs as well as single spills I took the plunge and you should have seen the colour of the water I threw out. It took two loads before I had to empty the dirty water and by then the stairs were done. I love how the new design let’s you spray first for as much as you think you need rather than the old 3 in 1 Vax (last one I bought) that sprayed non stop from the moment you switched it on. The brush loosened up all the black sticky mess the coffee had embedded over the years and the suction was as powerful as a full size vacuum. My stairs look miles better and although it’ll probably take another round to get them perfect it’s cost a sight less than the new carpet my better half had predicted we’d need. My first 3 in 1 was bought in the nineties and it’s clear Vax have not lost their quality over the years.
Delivered today and couldn’t wait to try it on our sofa. The sofa was professionally cleaned less than a year ago but having a baby and two cats. I knew I would need something more permanent around the home. This so far is giving me satisfaction after the first use. I was too excited to take a before picture but on a light grey sofa with an 8 month old. You can use your imagination. Just a quick 20 min clean and that’s the tank from the sofa alone loving it so far cannot wait to use on bedroom carpet.
It a great wet hoover get all the stains out.
And fantastic for car mats I use to wash them in the sink but took days to dry. As with this one it cleans them and leaves it damp so within 2 hours it’s dry.
Only thing I can say is the formula it comes with don’t put what it says as it foams the machine you only need to put half of what it says
Purchased to clean our sofas that hadn’t had a proper clean in 10 years, surprising what comes off but the colour difference is brill.
The suction to get the water out was good but took a few goings over to get the most out of the material.
Yet to try it on a new spill etc but I’m sure it wouldn’t have any issues.
Great little machine absolutely love the self clean hose wouldn’t recommend using 1001 shampoo as it foams up in the dirty water tank so you need to empty it more frequently then you would with the vax shampoo. Found the power button temperament I first thought the machine wasn’t working and even changed the fuse in the plug but got there in the end
A compact carpet shampoo cleaner. It fits easily in ‘cupboard under the stairs’ when not in use.. Only used once so far to clean stained carpet at doorway from hallway into lounge and it cleaned very well. It took a few hours to dry and carpet now looks great. It is not really suitable to clean a whole room area, but very good for spot cleaning small areas/hearth rug etc.
After getting a quote for a professional rug cleaning (coming in at close to the price for the rug!) I decided to give this product a go, despite it being designed for small clean ups. I have 2 dogs, so despite my best efforts it’s difficult to keep the rug clean – the Vax Spot Cleaner has done a fabulous job, there’s a significantly noticeable difference. My only small grievance is the plastic cap on the end (which sucks the dirty water back up) came off a few times during use. This may be because I put too much pressure on it, but if you don’t put pressure on it doesn’t suck up as much of the water. I did have arm ache when I finished – but it is only designed for cleaning small areas, not whole rugs! Would highly recommend this product.
Brilliant little cleaner I have cleaned both sofas, a rug, carpets and my daughter’s mattress. With my before and after pictures I only used warm water to see how clean they would come up without the solution. Suction isn’t as strong as I would like but other than that I am very happy with it!
I bought this product as I am 7 months pregnant and a little cleaning obsessed. I’ve always wanted a carpet cleaner for the car, stairs and sofa.
As others have said it is noisy but you do expect it so it doesn’t bother me.
I have used it on stains and its lifted them off the carpet easily. Really good for cleaning my 2 year old sons spills.
I used it on the sofa and was amazed at how much dirt came out. I’ve attached an “after” picture.
I used it on the stairs today and it has really made a difference to the more high traffic part of the carpet, I don’t expect it to ever be like new though.
I used it on the dogs muddy bed, before and after photos included, and was super impressed.
The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is use on the mattress. We have a quite new expensive mattress and I managed to get a faketan stain on there. I would say the stain was slightly better but it took ages to dry and made some of the fabric go very bitty and bits started to shed. If you have an older mattress that this is a last resort clean for you then you may not mind so much. That’s my only negative really.
It’s easy to assemble and clean, the vax solution smells amazing. I’d deffo recommend buying a larger bottle of this as the one it comes with is very small and doesn’t last long at all.
Looking forward to trying it on the car mats and carpet next. Highly recommended this product.
We use it to clean spills and pet mess. It does a good job on focused areas (Eg wine spills). It moistens the carpet whilst you scrub and is very effective in sucking up the moisture . Particularly important if you are trying to clean up cat pee…
You would not want to use it on a whole large carpet.
great cleaner for spot cleaning, but also for furniture, stairs and even large floor areas. I have used the upright cleaners in the past and found myself just using the attachments so decided to try this. This is perfect, I have a new large house and find this good for cleaning areas by the doors, stairs, furniture. Easy to use, nice and compact for storing.
After researching between different type of spot cleaner I opted for this one due to the different heads and the price. What a difference it’s made to my carpet! I got sick of lugging out the massive upright carpet cleaner every time my dogs had an accident. This is much more portable. The suction power is great too. You can see the results straight away. It’s easy to operate too, and it has a self cleaning function.
I bought this product to clean our carpets in our Caravan, Wow it brought them up as new, w normally roll them all up and get them dry cleaned, not anymore, we have also used it on any awkward spills and cleaning our furniture at Home. Very easy to use and easy to clean.

I’ve used the branded cleaner and rug doctor cleaner in it.
Because the fill hole on the clean side is in an awkward spot, I put the water and cleaning solution in a jug and then use the jug to fill the clean side tank.
It’s quite easy to clean too – the head comes apart, and I just rinse the dirty tank with fresh water.
Not tried the hose clean yet.
Brilliant! Better than we could have hoped for. We moved house & things got a bit dirty on moving day. Have used on the sofa & dining chairs & it’s amazing!! Value for money has bought when on sale. Only problem is takes ages to dry even though suction really good and strong but even using solution I didn’t see much difference to small section of carpet where I tried. Like the self clean hose part and that it’s compact to store
The hose could perhaps be a little longer and the tank fill needs to be at the top not the back as it is difficult to judge the amount of liquid put in as it is on a slant. Otherwise an excellent product.

This is a brilliant little machine that comes in so handy when you have nine dogs (mostly foster cases) It’s so easy to use and is ideal for spot cleans. Suction is more than likely better than the big machines and cleaning it is so, so simple. Simply put the hose into the cleaning socket, turn on the machine and it flushes the tube out. Simple?
I genuinely adore this carpet cleaner so much! It brought up far more than I thought it would. I used to look after a poorly rescue rabbit indoors and even though I scrubbed everywhere – this machine was able to bring up more!! It has changed my life and I love it so much. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to clean fabric sofas, carpets etc etc.
My old Vax carpet washer finally gave up the ghost after many years of service. As I now have manly hard floors and rugs I didn’t really need a big machine. This spot cleaner is just the job and has good suction which means treated areas are dry within an hour.
Used it on my upholstered sofa and not only did it come up clean it also raised the pile on the material.

It’s really easy to use, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The cord is long enough from the socket on the landing to clean the entire flight of stairs. I found the maximum amount of water and cleaning fluid was just enough to do all the stairs with a little left over. It’s lightweight and compact so easy to store and I haven’t had any issues with leaking.

Disliked nothing. I was surprised how deep it cleaned and how powerful the suction was that it was almost dry to the touch. With it being so lightweight doing the stairs was no problem.
I’ve cleaned two full bedroom carpets a sofa and stairs with this machine over the last few days and it’s done a brilliant job. No problems at all works a treat. Don’t hesitate if thinking of getting one. Well worth 100.

I would suggest buying more of the spot was though as you can’t use any other solution and the bottle that came with it only lasted me two uses although I did the whole sofa with it! This is cost effective too, saves me getting a professional cleaner in. I love the self cleaning port too at the end. Very impressed with this handy little product I hope it lasts me a while!
Very light and compact, I’ve managed to clean carpets in my little flat, as another customer described, bit more elbow grease but it was worse it, I do not have space for big/standard carpet cleaner and this one is just what I need. Thank you

My last one is kinda dying on me so got this one which is similar. Anyone getting a puppy or an old incontent dog this is a must have. You might not use it much, but when you do you will think why didn’t you get one of these earlie
Wanted a cleaner like this for a while but didn’t want a big clumsy carpet shampoo cleaner with this as an attachment. This is just the job, I’ve used it a couple of times and it works well, and being so compact it’s easy to store away.
This easy to use. I like that there are separate water tanks. I only used recently to clean a rug stair carpet and small Landing. I was impressed with the results. I like that can do more than a spot & does not leave the carpet too wet.
This is an upfate, I have used it a few times now. It serves the purpose I bought it for. Rugs stairway & landing, does a good job and no leaks
After 8 years and dogs the front of my sofa needed cleaning and this did the trick. Simple to use fill clean water to level add cleaning agent, plug in and away you go. Instruction booklet easy to understand and after cleaning put hose into self clean hole and it cleans any dirt out of hose. What more do you want, well I bought a big padded freezer bag to keep it all in nice and tidy.
This product is good just make sure you clean area of dust and hair plus you can use any carpet solution not just vacs
I bought this to replace an old upright Vax for stair cleaning, and it seems to me that the company has really upped their game with this one. It’s super portable, much easier to keep clean than their previous products, and very effective. It’s no less noisy than the upright, and possibly a little heavier than I was expecting. But great.
We read all the reviews before buying this and have to agree that it works very well. We bought it to clean the upholstery on our furniture and it does remove a lot of dirt! It is easy to get started and to handle. We found that furniture needed to be left to dry overnight before sitting on it again.
After having read reviews I decided to go with this product. I must say it truly is good value for money !
The suction power ; weight easy to clean apparatus and easy to manage .
All in all very happy ; would recommend to get this; especially with pets ! Done my stairs and landing and was quick and easy !

Wish I bought one sooner! Had a expensive quote for someone to clean my sofa so I decided to buy this and do it myself. 6 years worth of muddy dog on the sofa and a 2 year old, it was disgusting. I cannot believe how well this has cleaned it, honestly it looks like new again and smells so much better. The product itself is lightweight, instructions are straight forward and the suction is really powerful. Giving the level of muck on ours I did have to give it a bit of a scrub using the tool provided but it was expected really. Monthly payment plan was a bonus too!

Although it’s supposed to be a ‘spot cleaner’, we have used it to clean 2 e seater chairs, a 4
Seater and car seats, so it can clean a large variety of things! I would recommend.
Great value, small, lightweight vax. Bought mainly for cleaning car upholstery / carpets, and stair carpet. So far have cleaned my car, and a medium sized rug. Easy to use, and cleans well. Can’t fault it so far. The vax is easily broken down to clean, and has a self clean function for flushing the hose. All easy to do. Recommended.
It is compact so easy to use and easy to store.
If you have ever had a milk spill in your car you will know how hard it is to get out of the car and the awful smell it leaves behind more so when it is hot sunny days.
Had a 4 pint of milk break in the boot.
It sucked up the milk out of the carpeted boot.
I then used VAX cleaner solution with the spotwash cleaner to give it a good clean.
NO nasty smell in the car .

Really good overall. Only slight downfall is the water spray is quite set back from the suction – makes it hard to clean to the edges of something e.g. a car seat. But overall very happy – very easy to use and clean.
