We have now had 4 of these, from different sellers, they look great, don’t stop the heat , they keep warm after the heating is off.
The only issue is having to put each slat on individual it was such a waste of time ! The 3 others we have had came with the front slats already attached, easy to put together, instructions are a bit pants but if you lay it all out its easy to get a brew and figure out how to assemble

Excellent and very well made. MDF is easy to work with. As the small one was covering a single radiator, we had to reduce the depth which was easy to do with a hand saw and jig saw to redo the skirting board cuts. Needed to use my router to redo the slots for the fixings to slot into but if you didn’t have a router, you could improvise I’m sure.
The extra large one is on a low long radiator so have to take 10cm off the bottom, again, easy to do with hand tools…

We had to cut the bottom to accommodate the valves so it would go against the wall so be aware of this – it was easy enough to do and doesn’t spoil the look at all

These do Finish the areas off nicely but were fiddly to assemble and we had to trim them to better suit the hall way and landing. My husband is good at diy so that wasn’t too much of a problem

Are you sick of all that heat from you radiator escaping into you living room bedroom ect.
Well here you go,this keeps all the heat nicely contained in the radiator itself so now you can crank the heat up to the max knowing it will not make a wild bit of difference to the temp in your room.

Totally improved hallway appearance. Only downside each slat had to be screwed in separately which was in contrast to another radiator cover I bought a few days earlier in which the slats came as a complete panel which was alot easier. The slats push out easily too. However, as stated improved hallway.

Add stronger stuff
Easy to assemble but very easily to desemble. Once it eas fitted my grandson had all.the slots removed. But with stronger glue and tacks it was fixed to prefectio

This would have been very easy to assemble , I was unlucky , the vertical bars had no pilot holes to attach them , so it took some time to work out the positioning so they were even ,it dose look good and very sturdy for the price.

Bought it for my new house hallway to look prettier and hide the heater but also to give me storage for my letter and keys.
It’s really nice and at first I was scared the heater would burn it down hahah but no it’s completely heat proof and the perfect size for it.

We bought this for my daughters bedroom to put a barrier between her bed and the radiator. Not only does it look lovely, the shelf has come in handy and it also let’s all of the heat through without the risk of my daughter burning herself on the radiator.

Well packaged, I was a bit worried with some reviews that had said there was to many pieces… no there’s not . I found it OK and that was with 3 nagging kids round me . Wish I had paid more attention to the design as I will change the slates for a lattice design. Other than that everything lined up perfectly, screws went in almost to easy . It looks clean and hides very ugly storage heaters!

I have given 3 stars for assembly and 4 stars for sturdiness because I bought the extra large and the issues I had probably wont occur with smaller items.
Overall I am very happy with it and it is well worth the money and looks a hundred times better than the ugly radiator that it hides which is why I bought it in the first place.
The assembly took me 2.5 hours mainly because of the size of the cover (extra large) and although it said assemble where you are going to place it, this was not possible in an entrance hall so I had to do it on the kitchen table and do half at a time, disregarding the instructions. The fact that I had the version with the slats meant that every slat had to be screwed in separately at each end which was not only time consuming but was quite exhausting. An electric screwdriver would be very beneficial.
Another issue to be aware of is that once assembled and in place, it may not be possible to screw it to the wall. In my instance either the radiator or the floor is crooked which meant that the cover rested on one end of the radiator but was about 1cm off the floor at that end but on the floor at the other.
Whilst absolutely fine and sturdy, it is something to bear in mind.
All in all, I would still purchase it again but for customers to be aware of some of the issues in a constructive way beforehand is better than being told that it looks fab and only took half an hour to assemble.

I was a bit reluctant to buy this after some of the comments, but it is gorgeous, easy to assemble, you don’t even need instructions to put it together, a child could do it. I’m going to order more, hope they have the sizes I need. Thank you.

It finished the room off perfectly. I have a trundle bed for my step child. I was worried about the children sleeping so close to the radiator and getting burnt whilst playing or sleeping. Love the look of this radiator cover. It was easy to put together, only screw came out damaging the plywood but the rest of them held it together. This really updates a radiator and I’m happy be able to pike junk on top. I do however feel that it does block the heat slightly.

This is good value for money if you can overlook imperfections, for the same size cover I could of easily spent double.
Assembly is really easy, the only thing to be mindful of is the strips in the middle, some are painted well and about 40% of the strips the paint doesn’t fully cover the 3 visible sides, I fitted the bad strips to the far end of the radiator which won’t been seen due to the layout of my room. You could just put one layer of gloss on the bad ones.

I had been after one of these for a while but found they were so expensive at other retailers. To be fair, i found it quite difficult to assemble alone but nonetheless the final look is just what I was after! Speedy delivery and fantastic quality for the price

I searched high and low for radiator covers to more precisely fit the radiators in my fairly new house (11yrs since first built) and these were the best I could find, at a reasonable price.
You have to build it yourself but it is pretty easy, taking around 45 minutes and needs nothing more than a screwdriver and a drill (to make the holes to secure it to the wall). I have done two and plan to get a third. One arrived with a small mark which looked to be a manufacturing error which was covered with a small white sticker…at this price it is only minor frustration though and the second unit is perfect.
Once in place it looks great, I can’t believe how much better it has made the room look. It is incredible value for money to have improved a room so much for well under 50!

Good value for money, not that easy to assemble
Good value for money, wanted something cheap and cheerful and compared to other brands from mainstream suppliers this defeinitely delivers. It’s not the sturdiest of things but the MDF is enough to support what needs to be done.
In terms of assembly, it’s been a bit of a pain. Lots of manual force required as some of the holes arent threaded and you’re using your force in order to get it threaded.
Overall decent product, let down but its assembly, but for the price I cant complain.

I think they are beautiful my only fault is the slates that you screw on mine was all chipped and the white paint was removed so I had to re do them so that it looked nice again

I have had radiator covers in the past and had to be screwed to the wall, so when bleeding the radiators it was a hassle. With this it lifts off making it easier bleeding the radiator. Sturdy good quality
Worth the money
I love my new radiator cover. I wouldn’t say it was difficult to put together but I would say it takes a long time as its in so many pieces. Once its built it looks great.

Got this on 2/12/20 and it was straight forward to put together a bit of time needed to screw on each slat individually but otherwise no problems. FYI – get some no-nails and run a line of it down all the connecting edges, smooth in with you finger… just adds a bit more stability.
Assembly can be tricky if you aren’t experienced building things like this.
Take care with the slats, they are all singular and could easily be knocked through- no spares included.

Absolutely love these radiator covers. I don’t understand the few bad reviews about the quality. Even at this price the quality is just fine. Easy to assemble, instructions are clear. Really brightens up my hall and makes it feel more homely. For this price you can’t really go wrong. They are gorgeous and in no way does this particular design block the heat.

The instructions weren’t the greatest so I ended up assembling without following the instructions and it took longer than it should have.

Easy to assemble, looks really smart over a very large old radiator- bought this one and cut a hole for the valve rather than buying the adjustable size. Easy to cut.

Product arrived within 24 hours of ordering. Outer packaging was damaged when arrived but wasn’t too bothered as everything is covered in foam protection. Assembly was pretty straightforward and took about 20 mins. The only downside was one of the slats wasn’t painted to match the other slats. It looks like it slipped through quality control. Otherwise it’s a lovely unit and does the job of covering an ugly radiator.

A slight mark on one of the front panels which was disappointing but love it anyway and it finishes off our newly decorated hallway. I love it.

This is the second Chelsea radiator cover I have bought and I find them easy to build and fit and I’m very pleased with my purchase. They also come ready to use with no painting involved and they are very reasonably priced too.

Easy to assemble, instructions also easy to read. Slates are a little fragile, once it’s all together it a beautiful piece.

These are made from Mdf an absolute bargain for the price takes about 30 minutes to build be aware that the centre leg does kick in if nocked when hoovering so just have to be a little carful around it but for 40 it is a good buy

Bought this to finish off our landing. Was unsure as identical one in b&q was more than double this price. No worries at all now it’s sturdy and solid and would recommend to anyone. I will certainly be buying again.
Nice looking radiator cove
Was pretty awkward to build compared with previous covers I’ve owned, each slat had to be individually screwed in place! Not the sturdiest of radiator covers however it’s pretty decent for the price paid and looks good once assembled and in situ. Received lots of compliments so does the job, pleased with my purchase overall.

lovely item, looks great and improves the look of a radiator, although the material is thin so be careful with the nails as ours nearly went straight through to the outside. but still looks fab.
Managed to put this together myself. One issue is with the compatibility of my radiator. I picked the correct size BUT because my radiator thermostat sticks horizontally from the radiator and opposed to vertically at the side, the slight arch in the side of the radiator cover does not match up and I’ve currently got to sit it at an angle in order to have it almost in position. I’m going to have to get a jigsaw and carve my own extra arch into it to fit my radiator.

It arrived really quickly and I put it together in around 30 minutes! It is not difficult and I am no DIYer! All the slats have to be screwed in individually, but there are guide holes, so you don’t even need to measure. The quality is great and it looks perfect covering a very unsightly wall heater/air con unit. I haven’t attached it to the wall, as I will need to move it fairly regularly, but it stands sturdily without doing so.

This is quite easy to assemble, took me about 45 minutes, the only tool required is a cross head screwdriver, once the two small metal brackets are installed the unit is very sturdy, looks great in my passage, and I can use the shelf for some ornaments or a scented candle.

Looks great and easy to assemble. A couple of fittings we’re missing so we had to replace the whole thing, but Amazon dealt with this beautifully and had a courier deliver a new one and collect the faulty one within 48 hours so still gets 5 stars from me.

Thank you for my new radiator cover (well storage heater lol) I love it. It’s abit annoying having to screw every single slat on as I have had this cover before in another property and didn’t have to do this!! But it’s perfect just what I wanted. Prompt delivery, easy to assemble, 25 minutes. Luckily no damage. This type of item can easy sustain damage in transit, so no re ordering this time.

Price = ok. Arrived in decent time and looks ‘ok’ from a distance BUT the quality of the materials and build are shocking, pretty much every locking tab insert pushed through the outside face when tightened !

I am very pleased with the radiator covers they were delivered very quickly and were easy to put together. They really enhance my living room.
