I don’t think that some of the reviews are fair.
I I hesitated buying it at the beginning due to the reviews however, I’m glad that I bought it at the end.
The assembly is written clearly with pic in the booklet. It takes only one person, I did it myself.
Its sturdy, I didn’t fix it to the wall but you can do if you want.
The gap is not that big as some of the reviews mentioned.
I could fit 3 pairs of size 5 including ankle boots.
It looks elegant and I love the mirrors touch.
I honestly recommend it.

It looks lovely once made, however the building is not easy and the instructions are not the easiest to follow. The draws don’t quite line up, this isn’t due to me building it wrong, the hole pre-made don’t line up. Hard to move into place once built as it is heavy. There is no backplate so you can see the wall behind once built and in place. Overall nice and affordable.
Purchased to tidy up the shoes from the hallway. Easy to assemble (must be – hubby put it together!!).
It gives so much more light to the stairs, by reflecting from the window.
Solid unit.
