Bought this after seeing a good review from a person that has a dalmatian only our pooch is on a smaller scale but can jump high over small gate & this tall gate is perfect for the job. Easy to fit so easy to open certainly a good strong sturdy gate. Very pleased with this purchase .
I bought these as I didn’t want permanent wall fixings for a stair gate. Using Wall Nanny cups makes a pressure-fit stair gate completely portable, so it can be used anywhere, eg in a doorway. Easy to fit and the gate feels secure and safe.
I needed these as I didn’t want the walls to be marked or potentially damaged and they definitely do the job very well. No movement, no marks left and provide extra piece of mind with safety gates in the house.
Works perfectly with Lindam Munchkin gate.
These aren’t the cheapest but they are perfect at what they do. Generous opening to slot the gate legs into which also contain a hole allowing you to screw them to a wall for added safety.
We needed to mount a gate in the middle of a wall. To avoid the pressure fitting punching a hole in the drywall, this product disperses the pressure. Add a small 4x30mm screw for added safety. At the end of the day, a screw hole is easier to patch than glue residue that needs scraping off.
Very easy to install. Had just finished papering my staircase when my youngest granson decided to start walking! Baby gate fixed between the wall on one side and the other is fixed against the bannister. Very sturdy construction. Would revommend this produc

Bought in addition to gate. Held very firmly in place. I am not worried about marking the wall/bannister but these would have to help.

These work so well. The gate is very stable in these. As you can see from the video when I give the gate a really good push and pull the gate moves a bit but the wall nanny’s stay put. At the moment I only have a 10 month old but after rigorously testing this myself I am confident the gate will hold on the wall thanks to these. Incase any one wants to know the gate I use is the dreambaby chealsea extra tall.

I purchased this originally for a baby gate. It was good up until i had to add an extension to the gate and since my dimensions were off i don’t use the wall nanny now. However it served approximately 2 weeks on my wall before being retired off in favor of an extension to the gate. I would of liked to have continued to have used it but the extension to the gate has no room for the wall nanny.
All in all them 2 weeks of life it served was excellent, it’s easily reusable! So i’ll just keep it within my treasures until i find use for it. 🙂

Sturdy, robust and a great wallpaper protector. Also adds another centimetre to help fill the space making a better grip!
New puppy meant we needed a stair gate. Didn’t want to drill into the ward. This was a perfect answer. Bought a set of the normal ones and a set of extenders to give us the desired fill. Happy with it thus far. Need to see what’s it made of the wall when we take it down.
Allows office chair to move easily without damaging the carpet.
The product consists of a moulded plastic cup with a soft plastic reverse; the surface of the latter is slightly nodulated, the better to grip a wall. The grip is powerful; I do not think the strongest child or even a heavy dog could dislodge it. I have checked for staining; the plastic has left no mark on my white-painted wall. I would only add that some stair-gates are supplied with wall-protectors, though they may not be so effective as this product; it may be best to order and fix the gate first.
These are really good actually. I wish I had of known about these sooner! It’s made my stairgate at the stop of the stairs extra secure. A lot more secure than just the stopper thing secured against the wall
Wish this product was around when my children were young. Now the Grandchildren have arrived I was worried about fitting a stair gate and the imminent damage to the walls. Such a clever small gizmo 10/10 no damage to the walls at all

Brilliant idea, gets the baby gate up with no damage to your walls. As our house is open plan and we needed to close up archway from kitchen to living room it was godsend Easy to install would definitely recommend
I purchased these particular Mounts as I believed the served my purpose more than all the other brands I’d seen previously.
I was correct in my assumption.
I used them on a 2.5mtr gap and everything stays where it supposed to.

Very worth buying these. They make the gate so much sturdier and safe. So easy to use, and prevents walls from being damaged as gate slips about without them.
The Wall Nanny worked well and held the gate well. Only problem is when we took it down after kids left, there is now a lovely (?) Wall Nanny imprint on the paintwork. I will be putting some cardboard between the embossed lettering and the wall next time.
Gate nanny worked really well. Made puppy gate installation much better. Wall protected. Gates secure.
Product was easy to use, it protected the door frame and the rubber back stopped the wall nanny from slipping. The gate remains in place with no movement even when my dogs lean on the gate. Did the trick.

I actually use it to stop my two very large dogs from going upstairs. They just used to lean on the gate and it fell over before.
Using this product has stopped that completely. Very easy to install and very sturdy.

These are brilliant to protect the wall I only used one from a pack of 4 for wall at bottom of stairs, so might have been good to have option of buying individually but will be useful if I need to move gate to another locatio
Does the job and looks neat on the wall, prevents slipping when the gate is hit by my 2 Boxer Dogs, which are renowned for breaking things 🙂

Smart, simple and easy to use, and with padded protection these wall nanny’s are perfect to keep the child gate , we so desperately needed, in place to protect our grandchild from attempting the stairs unsupervised.
I like that this things do what they should, and do it well. I don’t have to push screwes on my gates till nearly breaking point. They are not sliding even under the slightest load.

These things are a god send for rental properties. They stop any fixings needing to be attached to the wall and so far have protected our walls. They have also kept the baby gates in position without any slipping. A very simple, yet effective contraption.

100% recommend getting these for anyone installing a pressure fit baby gate! They make sure a big difference in terms of how stable your gate is and does slide about or fall down. A very cheap solution and alternative to drilling your gate into the wall.

We are in rented accommodation so can’t drill into walls. We needed a sturdy dog gate to keep the kitties secure when the puppy comes, who’s going to grow into a big dog. So delighted to have found Wall Nanny which takes the force of the gate and distributes it so the gate is strong and we can rely on it not moving. I would’ve worried that it wouldn’t stay up without the Wall Nanny. Wish we had these when the children were babies!

I now consider these absolutely essential. Without these our gates needed constant readjustment and were forever one wilful toddler away from failure. These make the gate 10x sturdier and easier to keep level while also protecting the wall and trim from damage. Others have said they leave a mark; I haven’t encountered this but it would be a price I’d gladly pay.

This was used to hold a stair gat on place to stop my new puppy from going up stairs they were very easy to use and as the gate was just a few centimetres to narrow they were very easy to use and made the gate very sturdy.
The stairgate is at the top of the stairs against a wall and wooden stair rail. Wall Nanny stops the fixtures slipping.

Excellent product, I have a large hallway with (modern walls, chipboard new house!) I can’t put anything on my walls without making marks, this has been a life saver for the dog gate.
Great way to not have to buy extensions on a stairgate, if you are just a littlew short on width. Also helps protect walls.
I used these Wall Nanny ‘pads’ to fit 3 different pet gates (similar to child gates, but designed for pets). I found them easy to fit and very effective at spreading the load on wallpaper (to avoid damage), and/or, improving the grip on gloss-painted wooden door-frames (where the ‘pads’ supplied with the pet gates struggled to grip sufficiently). Note that I also used some of the ‘extended’ version of these Wall Nanny pads for the gate across the foot of the stairs, as the opening was slightly too wide for the pet gate, as supplied, and these were also easy to fit and effective. I found that I could happily mix the 2 types of Wall Nanny pads, as necessary, for the same pet gate, depending on the opening size, presence of skirting board on one side, etc. Recommended accessory for fitting pet/child gates, as necessary.

A perfect solution to prevent damage to our very old walls.
An option for narrower fittings for the bottom of the gate (we are using on stairs) would have been better for us (ie buy in a pack of two not four at different depths ) as we couldn’t use the bottoms ones. Great product.
