Bought these for occassional use when we have our grandchild to stay. Originally sought these out as we had recently had our hall repainted. However as our grandson has become more of a toddler we have seen the benefit in having a secure fitting for our stair gates as he swings merrily on them whilst attempting to swing the gates closed and then testing them for sturdyness in situ! Protectors have worked extremely well and would thoroughly recommend.
“Wall nanny” for a baby gate, are easy to install and are very sturdy, they do as advertised by seller, keeps baby gate in place without leaving marks on wall, a satisfied customer.
So easy to use and really really grippy compared to another I bought previously that was slightly cheaper, I wish I just bought these ones first time round
These protect my old walls from the damage the gate might otherwise do. In the past without these the wall has been left with a depression and sometimes ripped wallpaper which is hard to repair. This helps to spread the force.
This is a great product. It stop damage to the wall and it helped me when the fixing of the stair gate was going to be on a bannister raiL. The wall nanny gave a solid square face the be able to set up.

As having the glued sticker protectors which took a lot of my plaster off the walls, having to fill and repaint I wanted to look for a wall protector that wouldn’t do it again when replacing my stair gate. After looking at various options I decided to go with these! I cannot express my delight that they are sturdy and my gate fixes into these perfectly. These are very simple devices and installation is obvious. They have a good grip without the need for drilling or other permanent fixtures. They are effective at increasing the grip of the stargaze and they are a decent price. Delivery was quick.
The product is very easy to install, it rests nicely against the wall with the grips on the back to keep it secure without leaving marks or pulling away the paint. Our little one can now not slide the gate! Perfect to keep him safe! Thank you

Stair gates put up to contain one of my dogs post surgery. Very neat result and strong without too much trouble( my partner needed a degree in engineering to put the gate together but that’s another matter) . Well worth the purchase .
It’s a bit too big but I guess it must be like that if you want to protect the wall more.

Great product if you need some extra support with your stair gate, we needed to fit it against a wooden banister which we wanted to protect and this was perfect for the job
A pressure-fit gate needs to be well-gripped where it meets the wall. The gate I bought needed screwed-to-the-wall cups for the pressure pads to fit into to ensure the grip, but I wanted my wall to be unmarked when the gate was no longer needed. These Wall Nanny fittings are providing a secure grip for my gate while leaving my wall unmarked. Brilliant! They work well and the gate is keeping my two-year-old grandson safe.

This is an excellent solution for protecting your walls and paint from being marked and scratched from pressure point stairgate fixings. Easy and quick to install the width and thickness spread the pressure to prevent damage. I am sure it would work as well on skirting, but the width of the stairgate we purchased did not allow for the wall nanny to be inserted as well as the fixings

The gate fits perfectly in the slots and the gate does not slip on the wall.
They do what they are supposed to do but I think massively overpriced but I needed them urgently.

These are one of the best things I have bought on Amazon. Protect the wall. Skirting and the stair bannister where we have them and I can’t recommend them enough. I have two big basset hounds who if they work together had worked out how to push the gate over the wall nanny has such a good grip it’s now stopped them. Brilliant worth every penny.

These wall protectors have been fantastic – I thought I would have to drill into a door frame/wall but these are so sturdy they do not move when the stair gate is fitted correctly – no marks on walls or door frame. Very good value for money
The wall nanny baby gate protector was a great buy. I was looking for something that was thicker than the supplied holder for the baby gate posts due to the width of the hall. These were just perfect and provided a solid fixing for the gate. The large rubber surface gave a firm non slip fixing for the gate which could not be moved after attaching and prevented damage to the wall.
Superb product and even withstands the nibbles from a cocker spaniel puppy! Have saved out walls and so easy to move about if the need is there!

Easy to use. I really like the magnetic catch, which closes and locks behind. So you don’t have to remember to lock it. Looks good too.
These are brilliant after ordering and using my first packet I reordered for my second gate. I have used these with the extender wall nanny. They protect the walls and wood of the stairs whilst being secure. The stair gate does not move at all with an adult shaking it using full body weight. I can’t recommend these highly enough and fast delivery which is an added bonus.
The product is great. It really does make the gate super sturdy! The grip properties is excellent on a plaster and wood.

I purchased the stair gate without these. My German Shepard dog just knocked the gate down. With these, he hasn’t managed to dislodged the gate. So if you are using the gate to stop a large dog from roaming the house, you really do need these. Thanks
Very easy to use, they are secure and sturdy, and seem to have done a good job of spreading the pressure to protect the walls (I haven’t checked underneath since putting them up, but there is certainly no hint at the moment that they haven’t done the job). They look great, and I think they actually improve the appearance of my safety gate. If I need to put up another one I will definitely use these again.
These are great! So easy to use and have gripped onto our walls (which are victorian so can be a bit wonky in parts!) no problem. Really happy with our purchase.
Good quality and simple to use, gate very sturdy when using product. If you wanted to improve you could include Velcro hook and loop disc’s to attach to gate, I cut some and applied to ours, overall a great product.

These wall protectors are a great idea, well designed and a perfect way to prevent the “feet” on the stair gate from marking or damaging the paintwork — not sure if the disc size is universal, but the ones we bought fit our Safety First stair gate. An added bonus is that that disc adds a tiny bit of width to the fitting, so it fits snugly against the wall.

Brilliant product, does exactly what was needed to keep the stairgate sturdy and locked in place, have just ordered another pack.
As I did not fix the protectors to the walls it need two people to help install the stair gate. However this is not a fault of the protector just a word of warning.

Not the easiest to install for some I guess but my husband did this easily. Makes the gate sturdy and will not move around against the surfaces. Very pleased with this purchase

Really useful item…it gaves you a couple of centimetres more for using a gate otherwise small and protect the wall from damages.
These work perfectly well with stair gates that are pressured (not drilled in the wall). I have not had to stick anything to the wall and has not yet left any marks.
Very happy, the gate has to be at a slight tilt otherwise it wouldn’t work. The wall nanny has made the gate extremely sturdy. I even gave it a few heavy shoves and it was not moving. Very happy and would definitely recommend. Didn’t even know these existed

These are great-larger size than most on the market,meaning that they give greater protection to the wall. They are simple to fit,and the rubber backing means they do not slip in use. Just what l was looking for!

Really does disipate loading well. Even used to span stair spindle. Holds perfectly well without a fixing as long as not subject to high loads, and with a safety consideration such as child gate.

Almost five stars, they do work great and certainly stopped my gate from slipping. Just they are quite large, so could only fit three of the four due to slim skirting boards.
