My elderly mum lives in a sheltered flat with central heating but she loves using this fire as a focal point, just using the imitation flame lamp. The heating elements work well on those occasions when she wants a little extra heat or instead of heating the whole flat. It’s an excellent looking item and works well. I was asked to rate the remote control but there isn’t one on the one we bought, you have to reach down and operate the switches at a low level. Might be a problem for people with low mobility

Open the box, put it in place, plug it in, switch it on and try not to imagine your home with out this in its place. I have never turned on the heating part of it as i live in a small apartment. The value for money, the fact that it looks warm and depth of the fire surround all equal to an amazing purchase.

Had to have new heating system installed and required something to occupy the old fireplace. Couldn’t have found anything more ideal than this, as it was not too large, very neatly put together and looks really warm and inviting on these cold nights. Have had no need to use the heating facility as new heating is more than sufficient, but overall am delighted with this item.

Having had an old boiler removed from the back of our fireplace we needed a fire just the right size to cover the hole. This was the only one with the exact dimensions to suit, as well as being exactly the sort of thing we were looking for. The fire is nice even without the heat as when switched on it looks good. We are very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone!

The Ivory fit perfectly with our living room decor, it was delivered quickly and it’s convenient since it can be left freestanding. We use it mostly for the led light option at times so can’t comment on the heat functions. A great piece to include in your room, we always receive so many compliments.

Lovely fireplace, light enough for one person to move. When it is on it makes a slight noise which is not really bad.

We haven’t used it for heating , but do put the light on for the fire effect which gives off a cosy glow. There is a slight hum, but if you’re watching tv/listening to music it can’t be heard.

This is a great free standing fireplace and looks neat…no installation needed whatever just remove the box and plug it in..keeping the lights on that five out the flame effect is gorgeous..definitely recommend this

I bought this fireplace for my parents to transform their living room! They love it…..makes the room cosy and so easy to install……very pleased thank you!

There is a small notch in the base but it is at the back and is not visible or affecting the performance. It has transformed my sitting room from a cold feeling room to a cosy room and that is just with the Glow not the heaters.

I love this if you don’t have alot of space this is your fireplace suite to buy. it’s not big don’t take up a lot of room. and it’s gorgeous would recommend this for small living rooms.

Fabulous fire. Was unhappy that I had to get rid of my gas fire and could only have an electric fire. With reluctance finally settled for this one and have now been using it for the past 6 months. Love it everytime I put it on – looks really homely. Have seen other fires similar that are far more expensive so this one is excellent for money.

I’m delighted with this fireplace suite, it really makes my lounge look so cosy.
It has two heat settings, but i only have to use the first setting as it really gives out plenty of heat. I think a lounge lacks that homely feel without a fireplace, these are ideal especially for people who live in flats and have just central heating.
Lovely fireplace suite and really good value for money. It comes pre-assembled – the only thing you have to do is arrange the pebbles. The flame effect is great and quite realistic, it can be used on it’s own if no heat is needed. The fan heater has 2 settings – It is very effective and heats my lounge very quickly.
The seller Electrical Emporium provide fast delivery and excellent customer service. The first fire I received had been damaged in transit and they replaced this the next working day and arranged collection of the damaged item. I would highly recommend purchasing from them.

Bought item for rental property so I was looking for an easy fix and good price and the item reflects the price in other words you pay for what you get, but I am than happy with item for my needs and cost…
