To connect the water softener to your plumbing use an install kit, sold separately. Separate mounting blocks are not required the unit has separate bypass and water hardness adjustment. Great Value for Money
Our old softner slowly passed away and we were quotedl over 1000 to replace and install well stumbled across this and I am a happy woman again.
Thirty years ago I paid 300 for an american water softener and that how long it lasted. I purchased a new one from Water2buy for 270 and it was not functioning properly on an intermittent basis so I contacted Water2buy some 18 months later and they could not have been nicer. I really cant say enough good thing about them and having been sent a replacement part that was so simple to fit my water is softer than it has ever been and uses less than half the salt my old one did.

Sono stati celerissimi e davvero gentili nel rispondere ad ogni mia domanda. Non l ho ancora installato. Ma viste le recensioni e il feedback back della ditta dev dire che sono soddisfatta. Speriamo bene anche nella resistenza e uso.

Ottimo prodotto, nel giro di qualche giorno ho azzerato il calcare. Meraviglioso non dover piu pulire quelle fastidiose righe nel box doccia e non avere piu’ aloni nei rubinetti. Io l’ho fatto installare dal mio idraulico, 100 euro compresa monodopera e materiali.Temevo che nin funzionasse perche’ non emette nessun rumore e di solito i timer hanno un piccolo tichettio invece funziona alla grande! Sono doddisfatta ho speso molto poco a confronto con altri prodotti simili, e’ arrivato nei tempi previsti, perfettamento integro, lo consiglio

Ho finalmente messo in funzione il prodotto. Sono soddisfatto del prodotto. L’installazione stata eseguita da un idraulico, anche se mi sembra semplice con poco conoscenze ed un minimo di manualit.
Con la valvola di miscelazione chiusa la durezza dell’acqua 0, la durezza in ingresso superiore a 30. Attenzione alla regolazione, ci sono normative nazionali e linee guida dell’OMS che regolano la durezza che va usata per utilizzo alimentare soprattutto (io nel mio impianto la linea che va al lavandino di casa l’ho lasciato non addolcito).
Consiglio queste letture:

La valvola di regolazione poco sensibile, la devo aprire praticamente tutta per avere risultati, appena sotto il massimo della valvola l’acqua da me non si miscela, questo rende il tuning approssimativo, passo da 0 a 10/12 senza valori intermedi.
Attenzione allo strumento che acquistate per la verifica dell’acqua, io ho comprato un TDS ed ho sbagliato, con questo strumento si misurano altre cose (mi sembra il residuo fisso) e non la durezza.
Unico neo che il prodotto arriva con trasformatore inglese, quindi va considerato l’acquisto qui in italia. Attenzione anche qui, per una mia svista ho preso un alimentatore e non un trasformatore, la tensione di uscita che serve 12v ALTERNATA e non CONTINUA con 650ma.
Inoltre il trasformatore che ho trovato non era perfettamente compatibile con lo spinotto, quindi ho dovuto saldarlo io.

Come da titolo vi dico che un Ottimo addolcitore.
Ho letto e riletto centinaia di recensioni prima di comprare questo prodotto,mi sono documentato in lungo e largo e alla fine ho fatto la cosa giusta.
Inizialmente mi sono fatto fare diversi preventivi da idraulico amico e non, tutti si aggiravano intorno hai 1600,00 pi iva nel prezzo era compresa anche l’installazione.
Premesso che, non fossi munito di predisposizione per addolcitore tutti si preoccupavano di dirmi che influiva leggermente sul prezzo.
Bene, a quel punto decisi che avrei fatto tutto da solo e cos stato. Ps non avevo mai avuto a che fare con tubi,teflon,e vari raccordi e valvole. Guardando tutorial su YouTube e facendo qualche domanda qua e l ho incominciato i lavori.
Ho installato filtro e bypass ed il gioco fatto. Questo per dirvi che non complicato installare il tutto con il fai da te.
Veniamo al prodotto,
Appena finito di installare il tutto ho inserito il sale in pasticche nell’apposito vano ed i benefici sono stati immediati. Ho atteso quasi 2 mesi prima di scrivere la recensione per essere certo che il tutto funzionasse come da manuale.
Ho seguito le istruzioni come da manuale scaricato in italiano sul sito di water buy e va che una meraviglia, fa lo stesso lavoro di famose e blasonate marche di addolcitori con la differenza che non si pagano svariati rincari da concessionari e idraulici, qui compriamo direttamente dal produttore ecco il risparmio.
Detto ci, fin da subito ho smesso di pulire i filtri dei rubinetti ( si intasavano ogni 6/7 giorni) quindi vi lascio immaginare il tasso di calcare che avessi.
Ne ha tratto vantaggi enormi anche la macchinetta del caff,( usavo acqua in bottiglia per il caff, che sia ben chiaro) e nonostante ci era un continuo e fastidioso bloccarsi per via del calcare…. Adesso uso l’acqua addolcita e non ha pi fatto i capricci, non ha mai fatto caff cos buoni senza rompere…..
Vi consiglio questa macchina perch fa il suo mestiere.
Chiedete al venditore di spedirvi presa europea visto che nel pacco c’ quella inglese.

Imballo e consegna fantastici il tappo blu arrivato rotto, ma mi stato riconsegnato uno nuovo.
il sistema funziona molto bene, ho messo un p a impostarlo ma adesso funziona bene, miscelando anche l’acqua trattata con quella in ingresso.
facendo la rigenerazione una volta ogni 3 giorni da quando l’ho preso ho messo un solo sacco da 25 e adesso ancora pieno il serbatoio.
la mia preoccupazione era proprio quella che dovessi essre schiavo del sale ma invece tutto andato bene.

Plumber did not fit it a month after I had it delivered,so have not done a review until now, as I wanted to see how it works after a couple months. At first it used quite a bit of salt, I presume clean out the scale from the water system and sorting itself out. Now it is working well. The one wish, I wish I had bought the more expensive meter softener. 2020, Years have gone by and it is still doing it’s job.

No issues, does what is required and is perfect for a smaller household. NOTE: AS SOMEONE ELSE MENTIONED IF YOU REQUIRE STANDARD UK PIPE FITTINGS CONTACT THE SELLER PRIOR TO PURCHASE ELSE IT WILL SHIP WITH EU FITTINGS. Fortunately I was able to retro fit my old softeners fittings so did not require new ones.

E’ il prodotto che cercavo.
Volevo abbattere la durezza da 30 gradi francesi a 3-4, e cos con questa unit (pi che sufficiente per il mio appartamento), con una spesa relativamente bassa, ho risolto. Addirittura ho dovuto regolare la valvola da miscelazione, perch altrimenti scendevo a 0 gradi francesi.
E’ robusto, ben costruito, facile da usare, te ne dimentichi al punto che devi solo ricordarti di aggiungere il sale di tanto in tanto. Fine. Per il resto apri i rubinetti di casa e finalmente hai un’acqua setosa, leggera, che ti permette di usare una frazione di detersivo o saponi, che non lascia macchie di calcare su lavelli e porcellane, che non ti appesantisce i capelli, che non ti secca la pelle.

E’ il prodotto che cercavo.
Volevo abbattere la durezza da 30 gradi francesi a 3-4, e cos con questa unit (pi che sufficiente per il mio appartamento), con una spesa relativamente bassa, ho risolto. Addirittura ho dovuto regolare la valvola da miscelazione, perch altrimenti scendevo a 0 gradi francesi.
E’ robusto, ben costruito, facile da usare, te ne dimentichi al punto che devi solo ricordarti di aggiungere il sale di tanto in tanto. Fine. Per il resto apri i rubinetti di casa e finalmente hai un’acqua setosa, leggera, che ti permette di usare una frazione di detersivo o saponi, che non lascia macchie di calcare su lavelli e porcellane, che non ti appesantisce i capelli, che non ti secca la pelle.

Trattandosi di un articolo che deve fare il suo lavoro per molti anni un giudizio affiabile lo si potr dare in seguito.
Al momento posso dire che fa il suo dovere: durezza della mia acqua scesa da 27 a 7-8 (come suggerito dall’idraulico che me l’ha installato e che ne ha dato un giudizio positivo).
Con il manuale in italiano – scaricabile dal web – non dovrebbe essere difficile installarlo “fai da te” (ma io dovevo cambiare la caldaia…quindi ho approfittato dell’idraulico).
Consigliabile l’installazione di un by-pass sulla linea, in modo da poterlo escludere in caso di guasto, mautenzione, assenza di sale, ecc.ecc. e prelevare l’acqua “aggirando” appunto l’apparecchio.

Contacted makers during fitting and got a helpful friendly response.Two people in the house and a 25kg bag of salt tablets is lasting over two months.Low cost! Soft water quickly cleared the tap spray in the cloak room sink.Flush cistern are visibly cleaner.Shower screen has cleaned up with little effort.I assume the hot tank and central heating will benefit in the future Very happy ! PS I have not heard any regeneration noise during the night. What not to like-low purchase price-low running cost.

Item replaced a 30yr old softener which had developed numerous leaks. A little plumbing work was needed to adapt old 3/4 BSP connectors to new 1/2 BSP connectors. Main problem was finding 1/2in plastic tubing for drains. Found in garden centre dealing in fishtanks!!. Test after installation showed input 260ppm and output less than 15ppm. A highly satisfactory result. Well done Water2buy.

E’ un addolcitore efficiente e con dimensioni ridotte con un ottimo prezzo. La societ Water2buy mi ha dato assistenza immediata. Il prodotto consigliabile in una casa con 5 persone.
Product delivered quickly. Instructions not clear, because as usual they cover several models. Not easy to set the time or frequency until you have tried a few times. Regret not buying a more expensive more automatic model. Have to reset time when power goes off. Has been working for over a year now and proved very reliable. Supplies very responsive when contacted for information.

I live in a very hard water area, hard water is misserable, fitted this myself , very easy to fit, had this for just over 6 weeks, water seems to be a lot softer but I seem to be using a lot of salt, 50kgs in 6 weeks, not sure if this is right! Compared to a lot of water softeners on the market , this was an excellent price, hard to beat for value and ease of use and fitting. To improve it it could do with some kind of indicator to tell you that it is working correctly and easier adjustment, but what else do you get for just over 250 these days that can change your life!
Would give 5 stars if I wasn’t using so much salt!! Would recommend this to anyone, what have you got to lose!!!
The softener is very well priced and build quality is good. Delivery was rapid and well packed. I found the documentation for setting up the options a bit confusing but it was not a big problem. The unit is supplied with 3/4 fittings, I replaced with 1/2 fittings which were quite expensive but provide easier interconnect pipe options.
Overall I have been very pleased with product, good value and an effective water softener.

Nach einer guten Woche kann ich sagen das ich gut mit dem Produkt zufrieden bin und ich mit der Einstellung der Anlage einen Wasserhrtegrad von vorher 26 auf unter 10 Grad Wasserhrte reduzieren konnte.
Kann es fr den Preis gut weiter empfehlen.

We are finding this gives us nice soft water if regenerated every couple of days (only two of us)….but the programme during the night lasts around 3 hours – I would be interested to know if anyone has the same experience as the estimate given was about an hour….and if it affects water consumption greatly? Our pressure is set as normal . Otherwise happy with the product. I would only add that you should ensure you have enough space to fit it if under the Utility/Kitchen sink…we don’t have room for the blue top as well…but no real problem!

Quick delivery but found top broken a quick phone call and no quibble a new top sent the next day lovely chap I spoke to as well.
The book instructions are really difficult to understand so used the sites video to fit the softner.
The softnere is quite noisy when it is going through its cycle but the only time I hear it is if I wake for other reasons during the night. If you were a light sleeper it may wake you. The softener has changed the quality of water quickly and does what it is supposed to do
Nice little piece of equipment. Replaced one 3 times the size which was 30+ years old. Easy to install provided you are reasonable at DIY. Been in for 3 months now and now just getting the settings right for our household use.

It has only been installed for a week but already I can notice the difference in the quality of water. Plumber had difficulty in getting the right connectors so would suggest that the kit to convert to washing machine connectors is also supplied even though the price would be higher it would save a lot of time on installation.
I set the regeneration to “6” for 3 persons and hardness 250 but it seems to be using quite a lot of salt. After 6 days I have setting to “4” and will monitor the salt usage again.
Instruction book could have been a little clearer especially the setting positions of the manual backwash knob. An explanation of each setting would be of use as “in serv” means “run”. Also is unit delivered with the mixing valve (6) ready for use as it seems difficult to move?
Overall with the short time I have had the AS110 I am very satisfied with the device. I now need to run it for a few weeks and see what the costs are.
Best value water softener on the market. Straight forward to install and set up. As a DIY installation the only challenge I had was planning how to plumb it in as a first time water softener installation. A few hours planning up front resulted in a right first time installation. The re-charge cycle is set to come on in the early hours, but, we haven’t heard it once. Would recommend to anyone considering a water softener.

I don’t know how anyone would call this a complicated installation, my husband installed it in 2hours and ever since we’ve have noticed the difference. nice small unit unlike my old one, comes highly recommended. The phone support was great, got through when i rang to check i was using enough salt and both guys i spoke to were very helpful. Have no reservations buying this product and i have recommended friends already
Not sure where the ‘compact’ part of the name came from – much taller than my old softener, so I had to chop the bottom out of the kitchen cabinet to make it fit.
Other than that, really easy to fit. The supplier included the wrong size connections at first, replaced quickly and without any fuss – really friendly bunch too.
Recommend both the supplier and the softener.
