Zyklop Speed Ratchets
Featuring Wera’s famous Kraftform handle. Like no other, the Kraftform handle is shaped to perfectly fit the hand for the best possible screw-driving experience. The multi-component design features hard zones for rapid working speeds and also softer gripping zones that provides high torque transfer and extreme comfort during intensive use. Wera’s Kraftform handle – makes blisters and calluses a thing of the past. Zyklop Speed ratchet heads pivot freely, meaning it can be locked into any pre-defined position using the slide switch. Predefined locking at 0° allows the ratchet to be used as a conventional screwdriver with the attachment of a bit holding adaptor and bit. Additional locking points at 15° and 90° both to the left and right ensure safe working without any slipping of the ratchet head. Combine the features of the Kraftform handle, a free-spinning sleeve and an impressive 72 fine-tooth ratchet mechanism… Zyklop Speed ensures fast and precise working in all situations. Simple clockwise/anti-clockwise direction change by using the thumbwheel. The ball lock mechanism securely holds sockets for safe working, with easy removal via pressing the release button on the back of the ratchet head.

I love this set. Wind techs love them. I sometimes take it with me to junkyards and 60% of the time, it has everything I need there. Wish it had a flathead driver though.

This is a 1/4″ socket set to set expectations accordingly, the ratchet is about 15cm long and the handle is petite. I bought this from Amazon Warehouse which took some of the edge off the ‘sticker shock’.
In the heavy canvas roll, you have the socket set and bits, ratchet and various extensions. To stop the sockets falling out, each is held on a post with a quarter twist to lock and unlock. There is also a large self-adhesive Velco pad supplied so you can stick roll to side of toolbox etc.
To make use of the bits, there’s a 1/4″ to 6mm adaptor with locking ring. The Wera ratchet head can locked to ‘straight ahead’ so it can be used as a screw-driver – well, sort of. It’s nothing like the feel of a screwdriver, My add-on purchase was the Wera 073240 Kraftform Kompakt 28 Screwdriver so I can use the bits in a ‘proper’ screwdriver.
Note that there’s no flat bits, probably as they would be useable in use due to cam-out with the ratchet.
The fit and finish is excellent, the tools are are like precision instruments. However, there’s no instructions and I had to look on-line to figure out the ‘wobble’ extension.
Definitely a toolset for the connoisseur.

Qualitt ist wie gewohnt gut und das Set durchdacht.
Einziger Minuspunkt, der 1/4″ Sitz hat meiner Meinung nach zu viel Spiel! Die Nsse z.B. wackeln schon ordentlich.

OK it’s a bit pricey for what it is but you are paying for the name. I am a bit of a Wera fanboy and have a lot of their kit but it feels nice in the hand and just works. You won’t be disappointed, just to point out this is the 1/4 inch drive so is a small unit. They do a 3/8 and a 1/2 inch as well.

I read one of the Wera reviews for this product or another and the person said it’s so nice they don’t want to use it. lol. I agree. I have a Fifth scale Gas RC car and this is the perfect tool for it.
Honestly I am happy at just the fact alone that it’s not made in China and for that I would rather support the EU’s economy. I’m more than happy to pay the premium cost just for that reason alone. However I digress, this is a great tool and excellent quality in every aspect.

Ich habe frher meist gnstigere Sets gekauft und bin damit meist auf den Bauch gefallen. Fr ein neues Set war ich bereit dieses Geld auszugeben und bin nicht enttuscht worden.
Ich bin auch begeistert von der Zyklop-Knarre und der Freilaufhlse.

Love it! Very well designed. Everything remains securely in place in the case (e.g., the sockets come out only with a twist+pull action). The ratchet itself is also cleverly designed to allow to be used similar to a screwdriver or like a normal ratchet while positively locking the sockets/bits. Quality is top notch too; not gimmicky.

The handle is a bit smaller than I had expected. Feels almost like precision screwdriver. Other than that, all the bits are excellent quality and the whole set is nice and compact. If you have the money to spare, I’d say it’s a good buy.

A beautifully made ” metric ratchet and socket set, which will last me for years. I have two gripes however:
Firstly – four of the thirteen 8790 HMA ” sockets manufactured by Wera are excluded from this set, namely 4mm, 4.5mm, 9mm and 14mm. Of course the missing sizes are less commonly required in practice, but can be purchased separately if required – they’re available from Amazon and I decided to buy them all. Three additional sockets can be securely squeezed into the case – by securing one to the 8000A Zyclop ratchet, one to the 8794 LA extension and the other to the 8794A wobble bar, but this is a less than satisfactory solution and I could find no practical means to secure the fourth additional socket within the case.
My second quibble – Why on earth are standard Torx bits supplied? It would make far more sense to substitute these with Z (security) Torx bits, which are 100% compatible with the basic ones and are far more versatile. The cost difference in manufacture must be virtually negligible.
So it’s four stars, not five for me.

Ich benutze schon seit ca 7 Jahren Schraubendreher und auch anderes Werkzeug von Wera, deshalb hab ich diesen Satz bestellt. Die Zusammenstellung ist sehr gut gewhlt, wirkt Wera gewohnt auch sehr wertig und das Werkzeug lsst sich schnell herausnehmen und wieder zurck ins Etui geben.

Dieser hier ist auf einem komplett anderen Level, die Verzahnung ist sehr feinfhlig und durch den Flexkopf deutlich vielseitiger einsetzbar.
Was mir ebenfalls gut an diesem Satz gefllt ist die Nuss Halterung, das kennen viele Leute einmal unachtsam schon fallen die Nsse aus dem Koffer und man muss Sie wieder Einstzen, das wurde hier Klever gelst mit einem easy klick Halter aus Kunstoff somit bleibt die Nuss an ort und Stelle.
Was mir ebenfalls aufgefallen ist, die Nsse sitzen nicht an Ort und Stelle sondern haben einen Konischen Aufbau damit kann man die Kraftbertragung nicht nur 90 auf die Nuss ausben sondern auch seitlich versetzt was sicherlich auch vielen Heimwerkern das ein oder andere Mal an verschiedenen anderen Ratschenstzen nervte ist hier mglich (perfekt fr Stellen wo man nicht immer 100% gerade Anstzen kann).

Useful carry case, good quality. Didn’t include all parts and sizes required for RC maintenance but easy to source and swap out. Kits with other sizes would be handy as the hardware is decent.

Toll, aber zu teuer. Macht trotzdem Spa, weil es so durchdacht ist. Lediglich die Gummiband Befestigungen sind extrem fummelig. Das htte wirklich besser gelst werden knnen.

Einfach nur genial. Kam mit einer sehr stabilen wertigen Kiste an. Tolle Optik. Nach dem Auspacken, dem Werkzeug fhlt man die Qualitt an. Die Handhabung genial.

Nice set of tools for my current job. Only issue I've had is that the allen/torxs bits are not quite long enough to reach some recessed fasteners, otherwise I'm very happy with this tools quality.

Super kompakter und hochwertiger Knarrensatz von Wera
Der 1/4 Zoll Wera Zyklop Speed-Knarrensatz ist meiner Meinung nach der kompakteste und gleichzeitig hochwertigste Knarrensatz, den ich auf dem Markt finden konnte.
Ich war auf der Suche nach einem qualitativ hochwertigen 1/4 Zoll Knarrensatz, der kompakt genug ist um in meinem Handkoffer immer dabei zu sein, wenn ich im Haus oder auerhalb arbeite.
Nachdem ich bisher viel mit Knarrenstzen anderer namhafter Hersteller zu tun hatte, bestellte ich mir nacheinander zwei verschiedene Varianten fr einen doch gnstigeren Preis als den Knarrensatz von Wera. Doch ich war von der Verarbeitung, insbesondere der Knarre nicht berzeugt.
Qualitt hat auch seinen Preis, das wurde mir wieder einmal besttigt nachdem ich schlielich diesen Knarrensatz von Wera in den Hnden hielt. Nicht nur, die Verarbeitung der Komponenten ist super gelungen und hochwertig, es ist auch erstaunlich, wie leicht und kompakt dieser Satz ist. Besonders gefllt mir die im Winkel verstellbare Knarre, die mit einem schnellen Griff auch als Schraubendreher eingesetzt werden kann. Damit entfllt in der Tat die Notwendigkeit einer Verlngerung mit Griff, die ich bisher eigentlich immer sehr geschtzt habe. Auch die feine und sehr przise Verzahnung der Knarre ist sehr vorbildlich. Da kommen andere, von mir geprfte Hersteller nicht mit.
Auerdem finde ich das Wera 2go System super. Die kleine Tasche passt in jeden Werkzeugkoffer und kann wunderbar zusammen mit anderen Wera 2go Produkten kombiniert und ergnzt werden. Fr den reinen Werkstatteinsatz gibt es sicher andere, besser geeignete Alternativen um den Knarrensatz auch mit schmierigen Fingern griffbereit zu haben, aber fr den mobilen Einsatz ist die Tasche sehr gelungen.
Mittlerweile habe ich die Knarre mitsamt verschiedener Verlngerungen und Aufstze eingehend getestet und ich bin wirklich begeistert. Nun bin ich wieder am berlegen, wie ich mein Sortiment von Wera noch erweitern kann…

Großartiges Werkzeug
Zu Langlebigkeit, Qualitt und Haltbarkeit kann ich mangels Erfahrung keine Aussage treffen. Das Werkzeug ist zwar teuer, aber dafr groartig. Insofern bin ich sehr zufrieden.

This set was way better than I expected. The quality and execution is great. The only nitpicking I can come up with is the tight elastic straps on some of the parts.

Gut für den schnellen Einsatz (vor allem am Fahrrad)
Der Knarrensatz lsst sich gut fr Arbeiten aller Art benutzten. Die Qualitt der Bits und Nsse ist hervorragend, wie man es von Wera gewohnt ist. Die Aufstze allerdings haben ein wenig Spiel, es ist aber noch im Rahmen und wirklich meckern auf hchstem Nievau wie ich finde. Ich nutze den Satz grtenteils fr mein Fahrrad und bin bei der Arbeit noch nie zu dem Punkt gekommen wo ich mir mehr Auswahl von Bits oder hnliches gewnscht htte. Durch den kompakten Zyklop Speed kommt man nahezu berall hin und kann ohne gro nachzudenken seine Arbeit machen. Die Bedienung von Richtungsnderung und nderung den Winkels ist sehr ergonomisch und fr meine Hnde perfekt.
Alles in allem kann ich den Satz wirklich weiterempfehlen, aber nicht nut fr den Einsatz am Fahrrad auch bspw. Kleingerte lassen sich perfekt damit zusammen oder auseinander bauen.

I bought this set to supplement the underseat tool roll that I’ve moved from one bike to another over the years. This set does nearly everything I need to do in minor wrenching on a stable of BMW’s — I have barely unrolled the older kit since installing this compact but able set in one of my hard cases, and rarely need to open the big tool boxes. The hook-and-loop attachment is excellent for keeping the set out of the way but always quickly accessible, and the case is highly functional. While there is a small amount of play in the way the elements fit together, overall the quality and attention to detail is very high, and these tools are a pleasure to use in a wide variety of applications.

Klein aber fei
Der Handgriff ist kleiner als gedacht, eine etwas grer Version wre mir lieber.
Das Werkzeug macht jedoch einen sehr stabilen Eindruck und ich kann als Laie absolut nichts negatives sagen.
Gnstige Produkte habe ich absichtlich gemieden, da ich bei Werkzeugen auf lange Haltbarkeit setzte.
Sollte sich Langzeit es ndern, werde ich diese Rezension updaten.
